Blu-ray Error - Code 6

Jeff I NEED your help!!!! I have read all they say about you and your accurate answers when being attacked my many lol.
I´m trying to build a Bluray project and it marks no errors when checking it but then after a while building the iso image i get this :
Blu-ray error:File already exists",Code:"6", Note:Video buffer underflows. Total bitrate is too high near time...
I have imported all again and again and still get the same. Let me mention that I am not a pro so I´m sure i did something wrong, but i don´t know what.
I hope ypu can help me. I am using m4v´s and wav´s for my movies exported from pro cs6 and using pre designed menus from Pro motion. I have no problem when building a dvd following their steps in their tutorials but when it comes to bluray...I can just kick myself. I´ve been doing this for 2 weeks now and ran out of options.
Please help, and thanks in advance!!

  • 'Blu Ray Error Code 6: File Alreay Exists The ES File is Short' Message

I have successfully built my project several times until I edited three files outside of Encore.
These clips are now slightly shorter in length and I have re-imported them back into Encore and re-done the timelines they were in, the chapters and menus.  I have saved the project under a different name, but when i come to build the project (Blu Ray disc or ISO) I keep getting the error 'Blu Ray Error Code 6: File Alreay Exists. The ES File is Short' and it aborts the build process.
    Using CS5
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Sometimes session files get corrupted when burn a project again and again or changing the assets.
If you remove session files from you project then while burning Encore will create new session files and this problem may resolve.
Remove the session files from AuthorScriptHDMVSessions folder
    Session file location -
    /<Project path>/AuthorScriptSessions
Remove this folder and try to burn the project

  • Blu-ray Error Code 0

I am trying to burn a Blu-ray disc from a Blu-ray image I made in Encore CS3 and it returns a Blu-ray Error Code 0 Note "". No idea what the problem is.
I am using the Sony BWU-200S burner with Imation's 25GB BD-R with AquaGuard. The Encore project shows that there is 4.32 GB free on this project, 20.68 used.
    Any ideas?
I tried the xml parser install but it says my Windows XP SP2 system already has a higher version.
I verified the project settings are using a preset. I exported the video from Adobe Premier Pro CS3 using a Matrox Axio export preset. It's 1440x1080i video.

After a little more toying around, it seems that while the project itself used only 20.68 GB, with the extra information that I guess Encore adds to the disc, it exceded 25 GB by a little. The error was trying to tell me that I exceded the capacity of the BD-R. It would be nice of Encore would show the total capacity of the disc used, whether burning from the project to BD-R or burning from a Blu-ray image to BD-R.

  • Blu-Ray Error Code 0 with BD-RE CS4

I have been using a BD-RE as a test run disk and I have rewritten
to it about 4 times from Encore 4.
    Blu-Ray Error " ",Code:"0"0, Note:"
I get the above error now when I try to burn to the BD-RE, but I can
burn BD-R with no trouble. I think the disk got corrupted in some way. I have been extra careful
when handling the disk because I wanted it to last alot longer than 4 burns. I have been checking the box for "Auto Erase Rewriteable disk". I did a quick erase with some software that came with my LG internal BD burner. The other software says that the disk is empty. I still get the error from encore, though.
    Anybody know what's happening?

I've experienced Encore evaluation is quite approximative.
This is not a problem, if you know it.
An almost 22Gb file could reach the BD-R size limit (although it is 25) .
Usually, I stay bit down to this value.
Anyway I do not know what Err 0 means, 'cause an "extraload" should be displayed as "too big for media" or something like this.
This is what happens in my italian Encore when I exceed.
I've also experienced, times ago, that a BD-RE (Kraun, if I remember correctly) had a smaller size compared with a BD-R one.
With the same project, I was able to burn a BD-R and not the BD-RE.
Anyway, when you'll do the image, remember to check this is a BD-RE image and not a BD-R (bottom of the window).

  • Blu-ray Error Code 25 Note: Not Enough Hard Disc Space

I'm trying to make a Blu-ray image on my computer and recieving an error that states:
    Blu-ray Error
Not enough free storage, "code 25" Note: Not enough Hard disc space
Now I first thought to check my hard drive but I have plently of space. Next I noticed that encore CS3 was trying to make an image that is 340GB in size!!! Why would it do that? My project only has 4 assets. HELP this is going from bad to worse.

My longer notes on this error:
The most common workaround for this is to build to a folder and burn with ImgBurn (for PC) or toast (for Mac).
Searches show that there has not been success in many situations. I do not believe that it is one problem.
I have generally believed that the error refers to temporary storage on the hard drive. And users underestimate the amount of temporary hard disk drive space used. For bluray it is about twice the disk or more.
Some users experience this error when they are creating dual layer BD disks, and a layer is more than 25G. Each video/layer must fit on one side.
And some users successfully burn their disk by re-encoding to a lower bitrate (a 25G BD disk does not hold 25G). Encore uses padding to predict the size on disk (e.g. add 10% to the amount of space it predicts that build will use), and it can be wrong.
Always good to "run as administrator, though I don't know that ever fixed this issue if someone wasn't.
For CS4 there was a required update for a Roxio component. I believed this was a temporary problem due to the combination of Win7 and Encore CS4, but users on newer OS and Encore have reported resolution of problems after installing the patch.

  • Blu-ray Error code 25

I am trying to burn a Blu-ray DVD the disc Info says 6.56 is used and 18.44GB is free. I am using a 25GB sony Blu-ray DVD. The error code says there is "not enough free storage", Code:"25", Note: "not enough hard disc space".
Is this a problem with the DVD or my computer.
The external hard drive where the rest of the file is for this project only has 1.92GB available. Is this my problem?
    Thanks
    ms

I'm posting this even though it may sound like a 'duh' comment.
I was trying to burn my first Blu-Ray DVD on a new BD-RE (rewritable disc), and I was getting a "not enough free storage" Code "25" error.  I knew file sizes were not an issue, as my test DVD was less than a gig, and I have over 300 GB free on my hard drive.
The problem:  Rewritable DVDs need to be formatted before they can be used.
You may go 'duh!' but that's one of those things that is clear only when known.  Now I know.

  • Blu-ray error device error code "3" create sequence fail to write m25 file

Continue to get this error message when outputting to blu-ray, can burn to dvd just fine. It seems I have experienced this issue in the past but don't recall how I resolved.
tried re-saving to new file name.

Re: Blue ray Error -  "Device not ready", Code:"3", Notes -   Any ideas what this means?
    Blu-ray error: "device error", Code "3", Note: "AS_StorageError = -97064
    Blu-ray Error: "divide error", Code: "3", Note: "AS_StorageError = -97060

  • Blu-ray error: "device error", Code "3", Note: "AS_StorageError = -97064

    Hello,
I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Encore as it now seems that I cannot burn a bluray to a disc. I would love to be able to talk to someone in support at Adobe but that does't seem to be an option. I have attempted to burn a video that is 18.45GB (transcoded) to a 25GB BD-R disc with the following error received on both attempts:
    "Blu-ray error: "device error", Code "3", Note: "AS_StorageError = -97064"
I don't understand this error because there should be plenty of room on the disc? I also had an issue a few weeks ago with Encore preventing me from burning a 20.4GB transcoded movie onto a 25GB disc. This may be unrelated and I am aware of the issues in Encore regarding the calculation of file size, but why am I now experiencing issues all the sudden?
    My configuration:
    Mid-2012 MacPro
    OSx 10.8.5
Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 (Encore CS5.1)
    Internal MCE Technologies Blu-ray burner
I appreciate any help and support!!

The Code 3 AS_StorageError comes in many variations.
Google: encore "AS_StorageError=-97060" and you'll find a bunch issues. Now replace the 97060 with your specific code (97064) and you'll see there are no finds other than your thread.
These all appear to have physical storage, hard drive, or media issues. Keep in mind that for Blu-ray especially, Encore uses a huge amount of temporary storage.

  • Blu-ray Error: "device error", Code "3", Note: "CreateStcSequence: Fail to write M25 File.

I keep getting this error message about 11gb into burning a 22gb Blu-ray. "Blu-ray Error: "device error", Code "3", Note: "CreateStcSequence: Fail to write M25 File." I have tried just about everything from running as administrator, starting a new project and changing the disc too. I am using CS6 and going crazy... any ideas?

    Hi,
First try to create Bly Ray Image Under option 'Output" Select BluRay Image, and also select the destination to create Image and click on Build, It will create a BluRay Image with extension of .iso. Now to burn BluRay Disc, you need to Select BluRay Disc under 'Output' Option and Below under 'Source' Option select BluRay Image instead of current project and Select the destination where you have put .iso Image, Then click on Build and it will burn BluRay disc.
In simple , First create an Image then Burn that image to BluRay .
I hope, it will help you.
    Thanks

Thank you ram8kumar. I will answer step-by-step, as you did:
    - there is no subtitle in the project
    - .PSD file is not to large, 2 files 1920X1080 and only 2-3Mb, and they only used as menu (I did this a milion times before), there is no slideshow in the project
    - Disc name is not blank
    - there is no sledeshow (burning a slideshow with no pan and zoom or with no transition with H264 settings)
Lest two might be the problem.
    - I exported .h264 files from PPro CS5 with Matrox MXO2 Mini with MAX, Matrox preset and if I remember right target was 30Mb/sek
    - Audio and video  track duration in the timeline was 1(one) frame  difference.
Thank you agan, and I will post the results as soon as I will get done with it.

  • Blu-ray Error: internal error, code 11. Subtitle set too close

    Hi,
I have this error, when I'm building blu-ray disc with subtitles:
Blu-ray Error: "internal error 11 (software internal error: ..\..\Private\GraphicsEncoders\PGProcessor.cpp, line 236)", Code: "11", Note: "subtitle set too close".
I don't have any idea what to do, tried everything.
If I delete most of subtitles and there's only several lines left it builds it without any problems.
Today I have deadline with project.
Please help if You have the solution.
    Maszok

Yes, that was the problem. I've changed timecodes in txt with subtitles and now it works.
    Thanks

  • Blu-ray Error: "device error" Code: "3", Note: "AS-StorageError = -97060

I just wasted 2 Blu-Ray discs trying to burn a project. I was trying to burn a very simple project: a two-chapter Blu-Ray with two 55 minute episodes of a TV show on it.  I have used the exact same computer recently to do exactly the same job with success, so I don't know what the problem is.
There are no menus in the project: it's just a bare-bones auto play disc with stereo sound only.  The disc shows 24.37 GB used on a single-layer BD.
The files are conformed and as the build begins, the following error pops up:
    Blu-ray Error: "device error" Code: "3", Note: "AS-StorageError = -97060
    System info:
    Windows 7 Professional
    Service Pack 1
    Intel i7 8 cores @ 2.80 GHz
    12 GB 1600 RAM
    AMD Radeon HD5870
WD 3TB HD 7200 RPM NTSC file system
    Pioneer BD-RW BDR-206 ATA burnerncore
    Adobe Encore CS6

I do not see another example of this error with the "97060" in it.
I never trust my recollection of this, but note that the 24.37 GB may actually be 24.37 GiB, which may be too big to fit on a single layer Bluray. You should get a different error, but who knows.
I would try building to a folder to see if that succeeds. Then you can return to the issue of burning. Many of us prefer ImgBurn for burning rather than Encore.
