Blue pictures in Bridge

When transferring raw files from my camera and then watching/opening them in Adobe Bridge the whitebalance  will be automatically changed from my settings in my camera to about 3000 kelvin. They all will be very blue. What’s  wrong. Can’t find any settings in preferences  in Adobe Bridge to change this.

You probably have changed the ACR defaults for your camera or files. Open a file in ACR and in the basic tab go to right and click in the small menu icon.
At the bottom choose 'reset camera Raw Defaults' to bring them back to factory defaults. If you want to add additional settings like profile and linear etc make them again to fit your custom default wishes (use 'As Shot' for option WB, the moment you change the WB settings this will be applied to other files also when saving the new default) and save as new camera defaults.
Then let Bridge do its caching again (it needs to rebuild the thumbs and previews to reflect your new ACR settings) and you should be OK

  • When I click on pictures in bridge, then it will open them directly in photoshop, how do I prevent this?

I have to select pictures in bridge and I want to check the sharpness of each picture. However, this is not possible because almost every picture that I click, opened directly in Photoshop or Camera Raw. And that is not the intention! How do I get rid of this? Excuses me, my English is very bad...

They will only be where you put them.

  • Adding keywords to MANY pictures with Bridge CS3?

    Hi there,
I am adding keywords to over 10,000 pictures using Bridge CS3.
I'm copying the keywords from their respective sites and pasting them into the metadata fields in Bridge. (Also adding others if they are not included.) I'm also changing them to all lowercase in InDesign so they are not repeated/duplicated. (i.e. "People" and "people".)
There are many folders and sub-folders but they are all under one main folder.
    Two questions:
    1) Anyone know of a easier way to do this?
    2) Is there a way to make the ("People" and "people") problem go away?
    Mac OS X 10.5.5 Bridge CS3 2.1.1.9
    Thanks.

    Thanks again Jim
This was not the answer I wanted to hear. So I contacted Adobe directly- They are very quick- they responded within 24 hours via email of course and reiterated what you said- I guess I just needed "official" word from Adobe, before I went to plan B
Anyways If anyone ever has problems like this where you got a bunch of .m1v files and you need to tag them with metadata- I suggest to do what I am doing and download tmpegenc it is a great little piece of software that will convert your .m1v files to .mpg files that you can now tag within bridge, Beauty
I will NEVER export to .m1v AGAIN
    Thanks TMPEG
    Thanks Jim and Thanks Adobe
    Best Wishes
    Tony

Remove the blue picture behind tabs so I can read the text, black on dark blue background is as bad as yellow text on white background

You can revert to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Can't select pictures in bridge as they automatically open in acr

I am using a macbook pro. I have a problem with bridge.  When I have downloaded my pictures with photodownloader, they appear in bridge. There is no problem with them there until I try to click on one, it automatically opens it up in camera raw. I can use the arrow keys to navigate but I have to click on one to start and go through to acr, then quit out and return to bridge. This means I can't select multiple images to edit in raw because as soon as I click on one, it opens in raw straight away.  It makes no difference if I hold down cmd, option or shift or all of them in different combinations or even all at once.
This problem only recently started - I think maybe the latest upgrade has had something to do with it.
    It is really frustrating!!!

  • Why are my edited pictures from bridge not saving when I automate batch files through PS?

When I edit my photos through adobe bridge (open camera raw, make adjustments to 1 picture), then automate (batch) my file folder in PS, the edits I have made don't save. Example, I crop an image & lighten it, I can view the adjusted image in bridge & camera raw, but when I batch my photos the editing I have done is gone.

Raw files need to be opened and saved before the adjustments are applied.  I have no clue what your "batch save" does.
A lot more information about your hardware and software is needed.

  • How do I get direct into P/S cc from a picture in Bridge instead of it coming up in Windows photo viewer when I click on the picture?

On previous versions I simply clicked on a picture in BR and it came up in P/S at the moment it defaults to Windows photo viewer. I also get a version of Elements editor 12 trial showing in the "open with" table that I would like to get rid of ?

at the moment it defaults to Windows photo viewer.
In Bridge preferences file type associations you can alter the application you want Bridge to open that file type in.
I also get a version of Elements editor 12 trial showing in the "open with" table that I would like to get rid of ?
The open with shows all applications on your system, if you have not uninstalled the trial version properly you should try to do so or just ignore it.

  • Fuzzy pictures in bridge preview

Some of the pictures in preview window comes out fuzzy, I cleared the cache several times, but didn't help. Any suggestions? Fuzzy pictures opens up in Photoshop fine.
    Photoshop version CS6 13.0.3X64
    Mac OS 10.8.2

    am I right?
No, you are wrong, the main difference between Bridge CS5 and CS6 is the transition from 32 bit to 64 bit, a different cache structure (again) and a few minor improvements, nothing further.
And if CS6 did not offer the quality settings it would be next to useless...

  • ISight Blue picture

I am having trouble with using my iSight camera and web based chatvideo. I always get a blue hue to the picture i am broadcasting. I have tried to update java, Quicktime and anything else i can think of.
Any suggestions? I have even changed to quicktime broadcaster.

thank you Ian for the welcome. Unfortunately, I have no problem with Ichat or any other app based video. The only problem is with browser support. The blue is only related to Java Based Web sites. Help! Help Anyone. I know that their are problems out there as mercury has its own solution. I cant figure Mercury as there is no Manual to TFR. Thanks again Ian

  • Importing pictures with Bridge

How do I stop bridge from importing duplicates? Currently what it will do is import the picture again and then add a -1 to the image name. I am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

I don't know what happend to my Centro. My son was playing with it (yeah I know mistake #1) and when I had gotten it back I went to log onto espn.com and none of the pictures would show only a small picture frame with what looks like a sun set over blue waters with a red sky. I went to other websites (cnn, flickr, and so on) but no pitures will show up. What could be the problem?

Check your settings in Blazer.  Sounds like you've changed it to "Fast Mode" for displays.
Tap the Lightning bolt icon at the top of Blazer, and see if it's set to Fast Mode.  Change it to "Normal".
    Pictures should load now.

  • Issue opening pictures in Bridge

    Hi,
I've recently moved to Adobe Creative Cloud and encounter a minor issue in Bridge; although I've tried to fix it I couldn't get it work, so here I am
Here's my problem: when pressing ctrl+O to open a file via Bridge to Photoshop, the image opens in Picasa (I was on Bridge CS5.5 before which worked great). I've already try to reset preferences (with ctrl pressed while launching Bridge), it still does not work.
    Does anyone have a clue?
    Thanks

    Does anyone have a clue?
In Bridge preferences go to the tab 'file type associations. Find the file type you want to change and in stead of the current Picasa change it to Photoshop

    Hello
I was able to create a new workbook with more than 34 dataproviders (not 34 tabs !!). So I guess somehow my first workbook had been corrupt.
It takes around 3 mn to run this working there is not much data.
I had to create so many queries due to an issue with average calculation [there is another post for that issue].
