Blue Screen and Error code help

I got up for a few moments then come back to see my computer Blue Screened, first time ever for me. Its running win XP and is roughly 1 1\2 years old and i have no idea what even caused the blue screen much less how to fix it so it wont happen again
The error code
c:\DOCUME~1\0\Owner\Locals~1\Temp\WER309f.dir00\Mini072409-01.dmp
c:\DOCUME~1\0\Owner\Locals~1\Temp\WER309f.dir00\sysdata.xml
BCCode 10000007e
BCP1 C00000005
BCP2 000000000
BCP3 EDEDDBB8
BCP4 EDEDD8B4
OSVer 5_1_2600
SP 2_0
Product 256_1

Not 100% sure without looking at it honestly. If it happens again I would take it in to your local store for a diagnostic.

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Blue screen with error code and I have no recovery disks for HP Pavilion dv6-1260se

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1260se with factory installed operating system of Vista. When booting up the computer, I receive a blue screen with this error message: STOP:  c000021a {Fatal System Error}.
The verification of a KnownDLL failed.  system process terminated unexpectedly with
                                                                 a status of 0x0000221  (0x007fb9c0  0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.
I do not have recovery disks for this computer.  I tried to order them but them seem to not be available.  This is my daughter's computer.  She says she started to have trouble after downloading Frost Wire (music share) and then she removed it.  We tried going back to an earlier time and that didn't help and then the blue screen with error message appeared. What do I do now?

    Hi,
Assuming your in the US, recovery discs are available to order for that model here.  That may be the best option.
You should also be able to do a recovery without the discs as well.  Take a look at this document: Recover Windows Vista Operating System Using HP Recovery, and look for the section Restore the PC to its original condition with the HP Recovery Manager if Windows Vista is not accessible.  This should allow you to recover the PC.

  • HP C309a - Blue screen - C2FE0100 Error code- 7 blinking lights!

HP 309a - Photosmart - Up-to-date drivers, New ink too. Cleaned print head with alcohol wipes. Will not print. Control panel screen displays HP logo for about 7 seconds, then the display turns blue with white letters/numbers : C2FE0100, then same panel turns white but 7 panel lights flash. Flashing lights are on the exclamination mark, red eye removal, print photo, auto answer, power button, wireless network indicator and bluetooth indicator lights. Only way printer will turn off and on is by unplugging from power source. Printer makes no sounds when power is connected. Managed to print 2 test papers and they looked ok. Ran the HP Print Diagnostic Tool during that approximate 7 second moment before everything started blinking and according to it:, "No problems were found for HP C309a Series." Utility checks: Connectivity, Spooler, Driver, Device Mgr., Printer Online, Device Status, Print Queue, Conflicts, and Default Printer. Purchased March 2010. Within 10 days of purchase, had print head problems and it was replaced. Different error code received then. 2 Weeks from end of semester...not a cool time for printer failure!

    Hi there,
I understand you're having some issues with your Photosmart C309A giving an error and flashing lights. I will certainly do my best to help you with this.
Generally the error that you all are describing is caused by the firmware of the printer. The first thing I'd like you to try though, if it isn't already, is to plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to make sure it's getting all the power it needs to function properly.
Please let me know if this step changes anything, if not we will move on to a reset of the product. Have a great day!

  • Touchsmart PC 300-1120 Blue screen and error messages

My computer turns on and I can access the internet however it will all of sudden kick me off the internet and a blue screen appears that says:  Kernel_data-Inpage-Error and then advises me to remove any new hardware or software.  When I hit enter it goes to a black screen and another message comes up that says Reboot and Select proper boot device but when you hit enter it just repeats and you cannot get out.  Won't even allow me to ctrl-alt-delete to shut down.  Only thing I can do is pull the plug.
Anybody know what sort of error these could be and what can be wrong?  The only new software is Adobe Reader update and looks like Microsoft updates recently.

    Hello Sydberry,
Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I have read your post on how your computer enters into a blue screen event, and I would be happy to assist you! To begin, I will need to ask you a few questions:
What is the Product and Model Number of your desktop computer?
What version of Windows do you have installed on your computer?
Has your computer completed all of its important Windows Updates?
Have you updated your HP drivers using the HP Support Assistant?
Is this an on-going, or recent issue?
Is your anti-virus software up to date?
Is the BIOS on your computer up to date?
In the meantime, I recommend following this document on BSOD Kernel Data Inpage Error. This should help identify the root of the blue screen event in relation to kernel error.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the requested information above. I look forward to your reply!

  • I keep getting blue screen and error message to remove this file from system. spooldr.sys

HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - G510n    w/operating system     Windows XP Professional
I installed the printer in February and the disk did not finalize the setup process.  I went online and
down loaded the drivers and software that was offered from the HP website.
The printer works, but as the months have gone along, I keep getting updates for the printer and
the system needs to reboot and it does automatically.
Now I am getting a blue screen with a critical dump error message.  HP error reporting keeps sending
the same message back to restore to earlier date before the updates.  That worked for awhile.  Now
HP Error system says that malware has corrupted and needs to remove system file     spooldr.sys
Is this in your driver software.  Spooldr is the system that caches pages of data for printing in chronological
    order....
Can I uninstall my software and drivers and change to the plain & simple, print and scan to prevent the
spool driver from loading to my system?

Thank you for your input.  But, It is amazing that you can tell me that I was infected with  rootkit.
Without information as to how to fix, your information is after the fact and useless.
I used the Safety Scanner provided to me by HP.  A full scan didn't detect any Malware in any files on my system.  But the last screen dump provided the information that   spooldr.sys  was corrupted and  needed
    to be removed.
Coming into HP Form, I did read on the HP website that my system Windows XP Professional was not listed
and noted that the software may have not been just what I needed.  This was the reason for the question
about uninstalling and reinstalling less of the program.  I really don't need my printer to print backward and
that is all I see that it is doing that other printers don't.
Besides, Kudos goes to the person from HP who sent the email,  suggesting I used the HP Update software and drives recommended  for my computer system.  Computer, printer is working, back to normal and hasn't taken a dump since, I uploaded  software and drives for Windows XP Professional.

  • Machine Check blue screen (with error codes)

I thought I had this fixed, but apparently I was wrong. Every now and then, for what seems to be no apparent reason, I get this blue screen error:
    Quote
    CRITICAL STOP: MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screens appears again follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware and software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufactorer for any windows updates you may need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disbable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
    TECH INFO: ***STOP: 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x80545ff0, 0xb2000000, 0x00070f0f)
I had similar problems before, but the blue screen is new after replacing my video card. (Before the new video card, the computer was freezing up with a black screen. I'm assuming the blue screen is a step in the right direction?) Original thread is here.
Right now, this is my current system:
Motherboard: K8T Neo-FIS2R [Bios version 2.0 (I think; its the most current version as of 2-15-05)]
    CPU: Athlon 3000+
    PSU: Antec Truepower 550 (+5V=40A; -5V=0.5A; +12V=30A; -12V=1.0A; +3.3V=32A; +5V SB=2A)
    RAM: 1 1GB DDR400 (cas 3.0)
HD: Seagate ST320082 200GB SATA Drive (VIA driver)
    DVD: LiteOn DVD Rom
    Floppy Drive
Running Windows SP2, all current updates installed
NVidia 6800GT video card (Asus; using TechConnect driver)
    Soundblaster Audigy 2
    DLink Wireless Network Adapter (DWL-G520)
I have tried replacing the RAM, HD, video card, and Power supply with similar results.
The error message clearly states that I should try disabling memory options such as BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing, but I don't know what affect this would have if I did this. Any opinions on this and other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks...

    - EDIT -
One more note: Nothing is overclocked in PC. All temperatures seem normal. CPU does not go over 38C.

I ran memtest for about 5 hours with no errors. I'll give it a go for a while w/o the sound card for a week or two.
I wish this thing wasn't so hard to troubleshoot. For example, it was happening about 2 times a day before I tried new ram. After going with the new stick of ram, it was fine for about 10 days, so I thought it was solved. Then last night, I got two of these again.

  • Blue Screen with Error Code B8156CEO

Hi,my printer shows this error code after turning it on. All the lights are blinking. Plugging off the power supply or trying to reset by holding the power on button doesnt work. Seems to be in a firmware loop. There is some rest of connection to the imac but only basics (name of printer, model) I have only connection over wifi.  please help kind regards

Same problem here. It started on the 29-7-2015. I tried the solutions mentioned here, but no result. The Printer I bought on the 21th of march, so 4 months and 8 days.. Til this date I was content, but now... not of course.. its not a long time isnt it? I did make around 50 copies.. (Not very much) It seems that previous month and around 29-7 alot entries I read about this problem on websites.. in short: there are at once lots of these errors.. what is the reason?  I will go to the shop I bought the printer, I have  garanty for 1 year legally, so i'm gonna ask there..it feels so...how must i say... helpless !

  • I have an iMac G4 PowerPC with OS 10.5.? The OS10.5.8 update failed. Now get blue screen and error-can't find Intel Power Manager. What now??

I have an iMac G4 PowerPC with OS 10.5.? After deleting 17G of music files to make room on the 74G drive, The iPhoto and iWeb updates seemed to load okay, but the OS 10.5.8 update failed - message opened said the computer encountered an error and must shut down. Now I get the blue screen. Startup with 'V' pressed shows multiple lines saying: error-can't find IntelCPU Power Manager. What now?? I  reset PRAM, I think.....?????

I am concerned that you might have applied a system updated intended for an Intel iMac, while you have a PPC (non-Intel) iMac. Your PPC OS should not be looking for an "IntelCPU Power Manager."
Have you tried booting from the 10.5 install DVD/CD and repairing the hard drive, plus repairing permissions?
If you done the repairs mentioned above, and your problem still persists, you can also try doing a safe boot. (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 ) Then, if none of these things worked, if I were in your shoes (it's hard to diagnose these things without being there in person) I would first check that there is adequate disk space, then I would boot from the 10.5 DVD/CD install disk and reinstall the operating system. There is an option to do an archive and install preserving user files/settings, that would be the option you want, as it will save your files but install a new OS. Make sure you have a good backup of your files first. If you do not have one, use "target mode" to copy all your files before embarking on an new OS install. Assuming that you do succeed with this install, then use Software Update to get the right updates for your iMac.

  • Iphone recovery blue screen and error 4013

Been trying to recover my iPhone 5S which just started rebooting itself and freezing a few days ago. It has taken me 3 days to down load the update software from Apple site as the phone was on 7.1.1 Now in recovery mode and cant change it. I was getting error 9 then managed to get the software restored to the phone which now has the recovery logo in red which I see as progress. But it crashed while doing the firmware update from iTunes.Rebooted my PC to see if it would help but now get an error 4013. My PC has let the latest iTunes updated on it and tried another cable, still no joy.

Thanks, looked through that document already and tried to a raise a support call but out of warranty so on my own unless I want to pay for support.
If it is determined that it is a hardware issue, then you should be able to get the support payment refunded.  Of course, in that case, you're looking at a $269 USD + tax out-of-warranty replacement cost.
Or you can go to an Apple Store for free assistance to determine if it is a hardware failure or not.

  • Hi, my iphone its in recovery mode and when i restore my iphone 5s loading show the blue screen and show note on itunes (unknown error 14) please i need your help please . thanks

Hi, my iphone its in recovery mode and when i restore my iphone 5s loading show the blue screen and show note on itunes (unknown error 14) please i need your help please . thanks

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 14:
    Check your USB connections
    Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
    Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.
