Blue screen error after USB connection

hello, I have a new 8100. All is great, all is working, but the problem appeared after I installed the software and I connected the mobile to the computer by USB... the blue screen error of Windows Vista appeared and then
after the automatic reboot of my computer
it said the following mistakes:

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I don't read Spanish very well, but did you leave the Blackberry plugged in when you
rebooted the PC? Vista might have tried to used the BB as a drive for error checking or system functions.
Thanks,

  • Blue Screen Error after Synching

    I had Blackberry Desktop Manager 7 installed on my WIndows XP machine...I have been getting Blue screen errors frequently after my  Outlook is synched wiht the device..I was on BDM 6 prior to this and used to consistently get Blue Screen Errors. I used to think there was some other issue with the laptop until recently when I got a new one and I installed The desktop manager.
    Once i realised that, I uninstalled the Software from my desktop yesterday but I read a lot of blogs that said that the BSOD will continue to come as your normal uninstalls are incomplete..Could you let me know how this can be fixed? Do you have a stable version of the desktop manger that doesnt give a BSOD?
    I need to sync my device with Outlook everyday..and I cannot afford BSOD's everyday..

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    I suggest this thread:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Cleanly-quot-Starting-Over-quot-with-...
    It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
    BSOD's are actually more rare of a problem, from what I've seen, and often indicate something more core wrong with the actual PC, Windows installation, or something else...and the RIM Desktop Software is simply revealing this deeper flaw rather than being the cause of it. In the worst case scenarios, I've actually heard of folks doing a clean rebuild of their PC (e.g., reinstalling Windows from scratch) and that rectifying the problem.
    Ohhh...one last thing:

    FYI -- From the wording, I suspect you are misunderstanding the purpose of these forums. This is a user-to-user community, not a user-to/from-RIM channel for any communication whatsoever. So, by "Do You", you are actually asking that of other users, "out there", just like you who happen to be volunteering time to help others out.

  • Satellite L675D: Blue Screen error after upgrading to Windows 8

    Hello,
    I've recently upgraded my Toshiba laptop to Windows 8 and every time I use it, after 5-10 minutes, I get a blue screen page of error and the laptop restarts.
    The problem is really annoying.
    I've discovered that if I don't plug in the battery charger, the laptop works normally, but I'd like to solve the problem properly.
    What should I do?

    > I've installed Windows 8 Pro with a regular activation key: I had Windows 7 before and I simply updated it to Windows 8. >I don't know about the drivers.. I think that may be the problem, but I also reckon the drivers are ok! Do you know a good way to check it out? Or where I can find the proper drivers?
    Windows 8 drivers for Satellite L675D dont exist on Toshiba EU driver page. The L675D series does not support Windows 8.
    However, even if the drivers are not available and Windows 8 is not supported, it should not be a big problem to run this system on the Satellite L675D.
    You said that you simply updated the Win 7 to Win 8.
    Maybe you should try a clean installation of Windows 8?
    I think its worth a try in case its an software problem.
    By the way: I assume this kind of problem did not appear using Windows 7. Right?

  • STOP 0x0000007B Blue Screen Error after updating drivers for my P67A-C45

    Hi!
    I recently updated the drivers for my mainboard MSI P67A-C45. I did this with the update utility that follows this product. I choose the "update all" function so I'm not really sure what was actually updated but I remember seeing the bios and my realtek network drivers in the list of stuff being updated. Anyway, during (what I think was) the update of my BIOS (a CMD window appeared and started executing tasks) my computer suddenly restarts. I wasn't really paying attention during this process but it seemed like it wasn't finished and that the restart was unintentional.
    Now during boot I get a Blue Screen message at the "Starting Windows" logo. The Blue Screen flashes by and my computer restarts instantly. It's a STOP 0x0000007B message which probably has to do with the drivers I just tried to update.
    I have Windows 7 64-bit and I have tried the startup repair and the system restore function without any success.
    Any ideas?
    Can I revert these updates or maybe install the original drivers without formatting my hdd? I have the original CD that came with the board.
    Best Regards
    Victor

    AHCI is a mode setting for the SATA controllers. You will find it in Integrated Peripherals. If you haven't set it to AHCI, it normally defaults to IDE mode. X79 platform being the exception. Yes. Remove LU5 & download & install all driver updates & such manually.
    If your UEFI/BIOS did get flashed by LU5, I would recommend to remove the power cord from the PSU, remove the battery for awhile, clear CMOS, reset all the settings, especially check in the OC Section, CPU Features. Check to make sure there are no '0's showing. I don't know what your CPU is, so I don't know what to tell you to set the Core Ratio limit for each core if they are in fact sitting on 0. Disable Spread Spectrum & EuP 2013.

  • Blue screen error after converting physical to virtual server using disk2vhd

    I have used the sysinternals disk2vhd to create the c: drive from a Dell server. I was able to create a virtual server and boot but had licensing issues. After a support call and doing a repair install to change licensing I am now getting a: "a process or
    thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated" after the virtual machine boots and I log on. I tried to get the integration services installed but the server wouldn't stay running long enough.
    Any suggestions for resolution would be appreciated.

  • Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

    Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

    Hi Mike thank you for replying,
    I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
    I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
    If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.
    Thx

  • Satellite P20-771: Blue screen error message after OS reinstalling

    I have a laptop Satellite P20-771 / Pentium 4 3.40GHz (800/HTT) / XP Home/ 17' with nVidia Geo5700 driver.
    As I had some problems with software, and I reinstalled everything using the provided CDs. Unfortunately the computer keeps malfunctioning giving me blue screen errors, that are due (this comes out when I sumbit the error to Microsoft) to device drivers. I updated everything (I hope) from the Toshiba page, but I am not an expert and I am worried that I missed something or that something has not been loaded in the right order or that the setting are incorrect.
    Thank in advance for your help
    Roberto

    Hello
    I have also P20 (red one) and have never had any problem after using provided recovery media. According to your posting there must be two possible reasons for blue screen:
    1. you have installed some additional software that causes bluescreen or
    2. there is some hardware component responsible for that (new memory module or maybe some external device connected to the unit)
    Sorry but I dont see any other reason. On this way it is not easy to give precise answer and we can just speculate why this happen.

  • After starting iTunes 11, I get a blue screen error

    So after I updated my iTunes to v11, it started up and it was great! Then I rebooted my PC. After logging in, I started iTunes 11. Nothing happened for a few minutes. Then the screen became black for half a minute or so and then I get the blue screen error. Now this is happening all the time when I start iTunes 11 or if I connect my iPod Touch 4g for starting.
    Please help out!!! I want to open iTunes but knowing that I'll get a blue screen error, I can't. Please help!!! I can understand if you are getting the same problem.
    Thank You!!

    Not sure, but try these.
    Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the Sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut Off. To power up hold the Sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time (for about 10-15 seconds) until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider), then let go of the buttons.

  • Satellte L40 - After XP Setup blue screen Error

    Hi,
    I browsed this forum and the net and I did not find an answer, so:
    I'm downgrading from Vista to Win XP on Satellte L40 (PSL48E), I created new WinXP SP2 with nLite with the AHCI drivers,
    looked ok win xp setup recognized the HDD so i deleted the vista partition I created new NTFS partition Setup copied the files
    and when it restarted for the first time:
    I got blue screen error STOP 0x0000007E which suggest it may be BIOS incompatibilty, a post in this forum had resolved by using XP SP2, but I'm already using Install CD with XP SP2.
    Now, BIOS for the model PSL48E comes only for windows flashing. and I have no Windows on my system.
    Even if I reinstall vista again and flash it with XP compatible bios I'm afraid I might loose vista compatibiliy (if XP dosn't work after all)
    and it will render my system useless.
    Help please.

    Here you will find a manual on how to install XP on an L40

  • Blue screen error Windows 7 after June 2014 Windows updates

    Hi,
    just wondering if someone could help determine the cause of a blue screen error from interpreting the following minidump file. My PC has been having blue screen problems after getting the automatic windows updates recently. Initially the only way I could

    These crashes were related to memory corruption (probably caused by a driver).
    Please run these tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.
    If you are overclocking (pushing the components beyond their design) you should revert to default at least until the crashing is solved. If you don't
    know what it is you probably are not overclocking.
    Since it is more likely to be a driver please run verifier first.
    1-Driver verifier (for complete directions see our wiki here)
    If verifier does not find the issue we can move on to this.
    2-Memtest. (You can read more about running memtest here)
    If you cannot boot after enabling verifier reboot into safe mode

  • Window setup option on the boot menu after fixing Blue Screen Errors

    Hello Everyone, this is my firs t request.
    I spent two days fixing the Blue Screen Errors (BSoD) on my computer but one thing keeps bothering me is that everytime I start or reboot my computer, it gives me TWO OPTIONS; 1. windows xp home edition 2.windows setup (default). I want to disable the second option. I had attempted to re-install windows but later changed my mind, and found an alternative to fix the Blue Screen Errors. I believe the reason Blue Screen Errors (BSoD) showed up was that I had created a new user profile and copied over old user profile files so improperly that it duplicated drivers, and gave me a list of STOP errors with blue screens for both new and old users.
    The bootini file currently shows:
    [Boot Loader]
    Timeout=5
    Default=C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT
    [Operating Systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
    Does anyone know what to edit for the bootini file so that I don't get two options at the startup??? My system details are:
    IdeaPad, S10-4231
    Windows XP Home Edition SP3
    4-year old
    Thanks,
    Lenovo User

    Hi
    Welcome To Lenovo Community
    As per the Default Sample of Boot.ini the default value after timeout section needs to be modified
    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect
    Before making any changes please save a copy of Boot.ini
    Save a Backup Copy of Boot.ini
    <script type="text/javascript">//
    loadTOCNode(2, 'summary');
    // </script>
    Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
    -or-
    Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
    On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
    Under System Startup, click Edit. This opens the file in Notepad ready for editing.
    In Notepad, click File on the Menu bar, and then click Save As.
    Right click in an empty area of the Save As dialog box, point to New in the context menu, and then click Folder.
    Type a name for the new folder, for example temp, and then press the ENTER key to create the folder named temp.
    Double-click the new folder named temp, and then click the Save button to save a backup copy of the Boot.ini file.
     Please try modifying the following
     Default=C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT
     to
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
    Hope This Helps

  • Blue Screen error message after using Rescue and Recovery.

    Good morning - I unfortunately had to use the IBM Rescue and Recovery feature to restore my factory settings.  However, now my computer is giving me a blue screen error during the startup process.  Unfortunately it is not on the screen long enough for me to get too much information from it, but I have been able to get win22n51.sys as being some sort of error message.  If I start the computer in safe mode it will load without the error.  If I use the safe mode plus networking it gives the error.  So I'm assuming it has something to do with the network drivers?
    I would appreciate any ideas you all have for resolving/further diagnosing this problem.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
    Perhaps this Lenovo knowledgebase article, "XP Crash: System may hang or restart with a previous version of the Intel PRO 2200BG Mini PCI adapte..." will be of help to you in resolving the problem?

  • After adopting Firefox 19.0 as default browser, I experience numerous occurrences of Blue Screen errors with MS XP

    Since I have installed Firefox 19.0 (first time installation and usage), my computer crashes several times a week: the Blue Screen Error comes up and I have to turn down my computer.
    I've run all recommended system and disk checks. I also have Norton as anti-virus.
    To my knowledge, Firefox is the only major modification I've made on my computer before the default started to occur.
    It seems that other users have encountered similar problems with version 18 and reverting to version 17 (which I cannot do) seems to have solved their issues.
    Occurences of Blue screen: when using Firefox, or while screen saver on, or etc.
    Have you got reported issues of compatibility between Firefox 19 and MS XP when IE was the former internet browser?
    What steps do you suggest I make?

    Blue screens can't be caused by Firefox, it is what is called a userspace program, which means it can't access the kernalspace, which is what causes bluescreens. There may be something else wrong with your computer:
    Check for Windows updates
    Scan for malware [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]
    Run chkdsk
    etc.
