Blue screen error c824C1500 on HP Photosmart All-in-one series C5580

A blue screen error c824C1500 appears on my HP Photosmart All-in-one series C5580's display when I turn it on. I have gone through the basic troubleshooting solution and it give me the same error message when I plug the power cord back in. Any other solutions? Thank you.

You probably need a new printhead or pump.  Either is financially prohibitive vs. a new printer.

  • Blue Screen on RESUME on HP Vision All-in-One PC

Hi. For the past week or so my All-in-One PC has been crashing with a Blue Screen whenever it comes out of hibernation. It doesn't seem to matter if it went into hibernate on its own, or through the Start -> Sleep action. The blue screen usually points to a page fault error KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.
I've restored my system in an attempt to fix it. It did, for awhile, but earlier today it started up again.
Some web searching has made me suspect that this is a manifestation of issues with the Microsoft fix KB2670838 . Other users have reported blue screens after installing it (usually as a prerequisite to IE 10), though I haven't seem reports of it happening after a resume, as it is for me.
Have others hit this kind of issue? Any suggestions on resolving it?
I'm planning to uninstall this fix, to see if it helps. I'll report back.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

I've isolated the patch that  triggers the blue screen to this one:
AMD - Other hardware, Storage Controller - AMD SATA Controller
It's not a Microsoft patch, so there's no KB number, nor can it be uninstalled; you need to restore a previous configuration to correct the problem. However, restoring does work (I've done it three times now). When it's in place I get this blue screen coming out of Resume:
    Bug Check String  : KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
    Bug Check Code    : 0x0000007a
    Parameter 1       : 00000000`00000020
    Parameter 2       : ffffffff`c000009d
    Parameter 3       : fffffa80`05eff7c8
    Parameter 4       : 00000000`00000000
    Caused By Driver  : ntoskrnl.exe
    Caused By Address : ntoskrnl.exe+75c00
Removing the driver fixes the problem.
Hope this helps anyone else that might have hit this bug. Let me know if I can provide more info, or if you'd like an official  bug report.

  • Windows 8.1 error when printing photsmart B110 all in one series

When going to print a document of more than one page the system goes into print mode but after a short delay the windows error screen appears saying there was an error to the printer. Howvever the printer some times prints the whole document or only part of the documnet. In the documents outstanding page the window shows the print are queing. All the wirless network test report everyting is ok and it prints a test page ok.

    Welcome to the forums malvernlink_asp,
I saw your post about the printing troubles you are having with your Windows 8.1 system and Photosmart B110. I will gladly do my best to help you!
Please make a couple of copies and let me know if the copies work successfully or if there is an issue with them. This will tell us if there is a hardware issue with the printer itself.
If the copies work fine, please run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from your computer and write me back with the detailed results or send me a screen shot.
Have you tried printing from different programs? If not, try different programs so we know if the problem is only within one program, or all of them.
Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software? If not, you can try this as well.
What Firewalls and Anti-virus software are installed? Have you tried disabling or uninstalling them?
Hope to hear back from you, have a great day!

  • HP Photosmart All-In-One Series 4200

This question is different from the ones I have read so far in this forum but it involves scanning.  When I scanned a document a while back, part of the document (it was an application) was normal -- in other words I could read it.  However, because I had to fill out some info, that's where the problem occured.  I couldn't read my own handwriting!  It looked like it was in some other language.  So in summary, part of the document read in English, and the parts where I had to fill in my personal info was totally impossible to read!  I tried sending the document to it's destination but the recipient was getting the same result.  I asked my niece about it and after she looked it over and tried to change a few things, (such as the language selection box--Arabic, Hebrew, etc) she still got the same result. She said my handwriting looked like it was changed to Arabic or something and she couldn't fix it either.  Does anyone know what this is all about and is there anything I can do to change it?  If I have to fill out and scan anything in  the future I'd like to know  what to do so it will come out right and I can send in email attachments.  Hope someone can help.  Thanks.

about a month ago my printer stop printing from my computer. I can copy from it but not print.i un install it   and try to install it back with the disk, but it won't let me.  don't know why.

  • Blue Screen Error for Windows 7 Home Basic 64 Bit

I have a Sony Vaio E Series with WINDOWS 7 64bit home basic preinstalled. It worked perfectly fine for 2 yrs until last month, I needed to replace the hard drive due to bad sectors. Now, after a month of replacing my hard drive fresh from
Sony Center, I decided to do a dual boot (install another OS - Windows 8.1 pro) on a separate partition. Everything is averagely fine. But 2 nights ago, I encounter a blue screen error for WIN 7 (my pre installed one). It happened the second time, so I started
it in safe mode and did a system restore. I don't know if it will prevent future occurence of blue screen, but to make sure, I reinstall my factory default drivers using Vaio CARE... Pls help.
PS: I have not encountered BLUE SCREEN error in Windows 8.1 yet. Is it OS specific? Here's the error the second time, it happened on my Windows 7:

    Hi Garibaldi11,
If you are not equipped to debug this problem, you should use some basic troubleshooting techniques.
•Make sure you have enough disk space.
•If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    •Try changing video adapters.
•Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates.
•Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

  • Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

Hi Mike thank you for replying,
I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.
    Thx

  • Itunes blue screen error

I recently installed itunes from the disk that came with the ipod nano.
The problem I'm having is that when you open itunes with or without the ipod connected it crashed the computer. I rang apple and they said its a windows problem although they did suggest I download version 6 from their web site which I did and the problem still exists. I rang microsoft support and they said it was an apple problem
The problem doesn't happen all the time, around say 80% the computer shots down with a blue screen error message saying " A problem has been detected and windows
has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
    PageFault_In_NonpagedArea
    The technical information is:
    STOP 0x00000050 (0xBB9EA29E,0x00000000,0x805-DA81,0x00000002) Then it
goes onto say beginning to dump physical memory, dumping physical memory to disk.
    Can anyone help.

    Hello,
I followed this recommendation for one of the other discussions to at least get the blue screens to stop for a while. So far so good. Try this to see if it helps. Make sure you sequence exactly or else blue screens will appear again. Good luck!

I spent hours last night and today, when something simple actually worked!
If you've uninstalled/reinstalled recently, don't bother. The problem is probably the nano, NOT the computer.
Reset your nano. Move the hold switch until you see orange, then back again, lay it on the table and press the center of the wheel and menu at the same time and hold until you see the apple (6 to 10 seconds).
Then plug your cable into your computer's usb first, then connect the ipod to it. Wait. Hope it works for you

  • Blue screen error message on Satellite Pro A10

    Hi,
I'm trying to help my inlaws with their Satellite Pro SPA10. I had set this up for them a few months ago and it was running really well.
Now it restarts about two seconds past the "use last good configuration" etc. screen, gets to this screen again then restarts immediately ad infinitum, never pausing on the error mesage for long enough to see what it says.
I managed to get it to boot from the windows XP home disc and got as far as the repair or continue with installation screen. When I asked the computer to do either it crashes to blue screen almost immediately. The error message is
    *** STOP: 0x000000c5 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8082B98B)
This is beyond my level of expertise, can anyone help?
    Thanks

  • Satellite A300D-1EI - blue screen error - display drivers had failed

I 've bought my laptop a month ago.
Everything is working great except two "blue screen" errors caused by the graphics card.
Both were when the laptop was connected with TV through S-video port.
First was when the laptop display turned off after 15 minutes while watching a movie, on resume said that display drivers had failed and then I got the blue screen. Then I updated the display drivers from ATI's website and set the laptop display not to turn off.
All were ok with no problems, until last night when I got another message that display drivers had failed followed by a blue screen.
I am wondering if this is a driver's problem or is something wrong with my graphics card.
    System Info:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8400 @ 2.26 GHz
    Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit Windows Vista Home Premium
Display Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470

So long you use ATI driver from ATI support page there is no possibility to say anything about it.
This driver is not tested and Toshiba cannot offer any help about it.
So what you can do is to install OS again using recovery media and see what will happen in the future. Please test it intensively with clean preinstalled operating system. Don't install anything that can have some negative influence to this game or additional applications, codecs or something similar.
Test it please and let us know if the problem persists.
When you want to watch movies on TV at first switch to the TV and then start DVD player.

  • Blue screen error on resume, Sandisk U3 suspected

Hi all, I have a T61 running WinXP. I've noticed that whenever the machine goes into hibernation with my flash drive inserted it crashes with a blue screen error on resumption. The drive i a sandisk cruzer with u3. Wondering if anyone has experience with this or knows of a solution - uninstalling u3 is not ideal.
[updated 2008-11-04] I've done some quick tests to try to isolate what's causing the problem. I tried another flash drive (with u3) and the same problem occurred. However when I disable the u3 launcher the problem does not occur.
    Thanks!

  • Blue Screen Error on Satellite A100-920 (PSAA9)

    Hi
I had a blue screen error during normal use and after restart, Windows suggested updating the BIOS, so I updated it with the latest version (5.10). The next day, I got another blue screen and on restart, Windows suggested I update my display drivers, which I did (to ver. 8.241)... I have an ATI Radeon X1400 GPU. After doing that, the computer crashed every time it loaded windows, with a popup about services.exe telling me the computer would turn off in 60 seconds.
I assumed this was related to the display driver, so I replaced the drivers with an earlier-dated version (8.241-034065C). After I did this, it seemed to work and I could use the computer fine for a bit, even play games such as GTA but i am starting to get the blue screens again, usually just when opening folders, etc and not when running graphics-heavy applications. The problem definitely goes away when I disable my display drivers, but that's not much of a solution.
I turned off the reboot on error setting and this is the information from the blue screen of death:
    *** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0xEE6DF5E9,0xBAD2F99C,0x00000000)
    *** system32:huy32.sys - Address EE6DF5E9 base at EE6DD000, Datestamp 45abe717
Does anyone have any idea how I can sort this problem, it's driving me crazy!
I have downloaded the Omega drivers for the card, but am slow to install them as I hear they can cause overheating and I think ATI/Toshiba should be able to provide me with a solution without me having to use third party drivers.

I have Network Associates (McAfee) v. Enterprise 8. I ran a full virus scan with this and windows defender and a worm stinger utility and another microsoft app whose name I forget... all came up clean.
I tried the omega drivers out of frustration and they cause services.exe to terminate.
Could it possibly be a BIOS issue? I'm not sure how likely it is, since the computer definitely works with the display adapter enabled and will usually crash (BSOD) after anything from a few mins to a few hours with it enabled. I seem to be getting two types of reply from microsoft on restart, one saying there is a general driver fault and one saying there is a display driver fault and suggesting updating the display drivers.

  • Blue Screen error message after using Rescue and Recovery.

Good morning - I unfortunately had to use the IBM Rescue and Recovery feature to restore my factory settings.  However, now my computer is giving me a blue screen error during the startup process.  Unfortunately it is not on the screen long enough for me to get too much information from it, but I have been able to get win22n51.sys as being some sort of error message.  If I start the computer in safe mode it will load without the error.  If I use the safe mode plus networking it gives the error.  So I'm assuming it has something to do with the network drivers?
I would appreciate any ideas you all have for resolving/further diagnosing this problem.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
Perhaps this Lenovo knowledgebase article, "XP Crash: System may hang or restart with a previous version of the Intel PRO 2200BG Mini PCI adapte..." will be of help to you in resolving the problem?

  • Satellte L40 - After XP Setup blue screen Error

    Hi,
I browsed this forum and the net and I did not find an answer, so:
I'm downgrading from Vista to Win XP on Satellte L40 (PSL48E), I created new WinXP SP2 with nLite with the AHCI drivers,
looked ok win xp setup recognized the HDD so i deleted the vista partition I created new NTFS partition Setup copied the files
and when it restarted for the first time:
I got blue screen error STOP 0x0000007E which suggest it may be BIOS incompatibilty, a post in this forum had resolved by using XP SP2, but I'm already using Install CD with XP SP2.
Now, BIOS for the model PSL48E comes only for windows flashing. and I have no Windows on my system.
Even if I reinstall vista again and flash it with XP compatible bios I'm afraid I might loose vista compatibiliy (if XP dosn't work after all)
and it will render my system useless.
    Help please.

Here you will find a manual on how to install XP on an L40

  • Windows Blue Screen Error

Just updated my laptop (windows update and update to iTunes 10. Now when I connect to my laptop (via USB) I receive the Blue Screen Error. iPhone is running the 4.0.2 software. This is very familiar to an issue with the iTouch earlier this year and Apple had to send out an update. I hope I am the only one with the issue but one blue screen tends to led to several more...

Well, I have done all of the un-install and re-install of iTunes 10 and both my PC and laptop crash when connecting my iPhone. Spent one hour on the phone with Apple Care Expert and still no resolve. Just can't sync my calendar for work etc. At least I don't have an issue with my iTouch. Just seems strange to me that the issue affects both of my computers and know else is having the issue.

  • Blue Screen Error on Equium A100-549

    Hi,
I took home a laptop that faced a blue screen error whenever it was starting up. I was provided with the essential components and did a format using the recovery CD. Once it was complete, I took out the recovery CD as instructed then clicked exit. The black window said format complete and the PC switched off. When I try turn it on an orange light flashes on one of the LEDs and the PC doesn't switch on. Most of the text was in Chinese while it was working too (the owner's Chinese). I would appreciate some assistance.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi
According to your description I suppose that the LED flashes all the time if the AC adaptor was connected. Am I right?
I think there is a hardware malfunction and the LED provide an blinking code.
Unfortunately, I dont think that you can solve this problem by yourself.
In my opinion a technician should check the notebook. The service guys are able to read the code and could locate the fault.
