Blue Screen Flash Upon Start-Up

I have been trying to search online for similar problem threads or solution to this but unable to find any.
Recently, I have been getting blue screen which flashes about a second (once) at the start-up apple screen, but it is not stucked, it jumped to log-in screen immedaitely or rather normally. However I do understand that it should not be a normal start-up because when I just bring this mac home I do not have this problem before.

Recovery mode and apple logo/blue screen flashing

Hello, guys.
I'm very desperate here at the moment.
I tried to upload my iPhone 5S to iOS 8 so I could start using iCloud (I have no back up of my photos yet!!!)
It didn't work and my phone went to recovery mode. After some research, I found some programmes to exit phone from recovery mode.
The thing is even when apparently it goes out of recovery mode, the Apple logo keeps on showing in the screen for a while and then a completely blue screen flashes. And it starts again.
I put my phone back to what I think is the recovery mode (screen asking to connect to iTunes).
Anyone can please help me with that? I'm quite desperate at the moment, feels like I'm either going to lose all my photos or (worst case), my phone.

I'm afraid your data is gone by now already. To get at least the phone working again, visit an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store to get the phone checked.

Mac mini dual display - blue screen flashes frequently

I recently purchased a mac mini i7 model, with fusion drive.
I have upgraded the RAM to 16GB.
I have also purchased 2 monitors, both are LG 22EA63V LED.
I connected one monitor direct HDMI to HDMI.
The other monitor is connected from Thunderbolt to HDMI.
Everything worked amazingly well for the first few weeks. Now, not so much....
I frequently have the screen freeze and flash blue, and then resume as normal dual display mode.
Other times the screen will flash blue and then come back as a single display. In this case the Thunderbolt to HDMI display appears as primary display, while the HDMI display loses connection.
If I unplug the HDMI display completely, the blue screen flashing does not happen at all.
So, what could be causing this problem, and how do i fix it?

See if there's some setting on the HDMI monitor for Input Source, or things like Auto-tune.

Computer Blue Screens (BSOD) Upon Video Download Completion

Every time I try and download a TV Show from the music store, the download will start and finish with no problem but upon completion I see the progress bar at the top of the screen change from the download progress bar to the other (likely file-moving) progress bar and my computer immediately blue screens. Windows gives me the standard "serious error" message at startup, and the error report returns nothing.
I have tried downloading the latest version of iTunes which includes the latest version of Quicktime and the same thing happens. A friend of suggested disabling hyper-threading, so I did that and I still get the same problem.
Does anybody know what the problem might be? Any help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks!

Exactly the same problem - while running FF4 after a minute or two the screen goes black for 10 seconds or so and then I get BSOD mentioning the atikmpag.sys as the culprit. I have the ATI Radeon HD4850 with the 8.831.2.0 driver (installed by Windows Update). There is a newer driver - but I have had problems with Windows 7 32 bit and the ATI drivers constantly so only upgrade when it appears in Windows Update. No problems with the same machine running Windows XP or Ubuntu. I have uninstalled FF4 and gone back to 3.6 as I have no issues with that version of the browser.

Blue screen freeze at start up

Product: mid 2010 iMac desktop (sorry pretty useless info - I am at work and can't remember!)
So the issue is that my computer has been absolutely fine and speedy up until switching it on last night when it remained frozen on a blue screen.
After quickly pressing the power button off and on it brought up my desktop where the mouse was able to be moved however everything was frozen. After a while it started to work as normal then froze with the spinning wheel of DOOM.
Whenever I turn it off and on it just freezes on either the white or blue screen.
I tried putting it into recovery and typing in some stuff I found online to no avail. Then I attempted to press cmd+r again another time but nothing happened!
Any ideas on how to solve this?? - it was all so sudden!

Blue screen error and start up failure

i have a problem with my hp pavellion 15 notebook (n020nr) im getting various blue screen errors that keep saying all the time, when my computer is restarting it shuts down but my led s caplock and the flight mode are still on, so i just press the power button and holding it for 15 and it keeps the same, so i have to take out the battery and the charge and hold the botton for 30 seconds so after that i just unplug in the charge and it turns on and it works fine for atleast 5 or 6 minutes and then it shows the blue screen error dpc violation and sometimes i got driver power state fauile, the computer is not very old i got it from Telus company 4 or 3 months ago, please if someone could help me i would really appreciate.

Welcome to the HP Forums! You mentioned the Caps Lock keys stays on, does it flash at all? If so how many flashes in the pattern? This will help us determine the cause of the errors. These blue screens are commonly referred to as a Blue Screen of Death and can be quite difficult to fix. If you just purchased it you should still be in warranty, I recommend that you call HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or visit the link below if you are outside North America.

Wireless all in one blue screen, flashing lights, help

My printer won't reboot, either all lights are flashing or after turning off than on power has printer error code 824c1800 blue screen clock with flashing blue light under camera. What do I do? I tried unplugging it, also taking out cartridges while on, disconnecting power for 1/2 hour but no go. Help please.

Blue Screen Error during starting Windows Server 2008 R2 (VM on Hyper-v WinSvr2012) Using a Physical to Virtual (P2V) VHDX.

I'm trying to migrate one of my physical Windows Server 2008 R2 to Virtual Environment (Hyper-V on WinSvr2012).
(The original physical machine had multiple partitions on the windows HDD and 2 other boot able OSs where installed on 2 of those partitions ...) So anyhow, After heaps of trouble shooting and fixing the boot records, it finally started booting the
Windows but when it got to loading C:\windows\System32\Drivers\Classpnp.sys
and it crashed, a blue screen poped up saying "A Problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer ... ) and then system got rebooted automatically.
I have tried chkdsk, also tried copying a new classpnp.sys to replace the old one but no hope. I don't think is not a damage file issue. Not sure, but it is probably related to changing the HDD devices or SCSI/IDE controllers?
Any idea?

1. You have placed your problem in wrong forum. Address your problem to Server forum instead.
2. I do not think it is liable configuration. I have not heard about migration of multiboot HDD. Try to split it. Pay attention to better preparation. I would expect separate target VM.

Blue screen appears during start up

Hi! My macbook before it bacame a blue screen, shows that the start up disk is almost full but i ignored it...and then suddenly it doesn't start up anymore and shows only blue screen with arrow...pls help! I don't know much about computers! :(

Boot up in Safe Mode.
Startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, you need to delete data in order to free up disk space, ie., photos, video, etc.
When you are in Safe Mode, control click the MacintoshHD icon on the desktop then click Get Info. You'll see Capacity & Available. You need at least 15% available disk space.
Then click Restart from the Apple () menu.

Blue screen appears during start up and freezes

During start up the apple logo appears and locks up. Re booting results in blue screen. After re booting 3 or 4 times finally boots fine.

Blue Screen When I Start Up My Macbook

My macbook was freezing so I restarted it a few times. I got a blue screen with only a pointer. When I inserted the installation disk and booted Disk Utility and tried to make repairs, it said there were no errors in my start-up disk, yet when i tried to boot my computer again, the same thing happened! Try starting your computer in Safe Boot mode.
Hold down on your shift key when restarting the computer.
Hold it until the apple with the spinning gear appear.
The boot time may be long as maintenance routines are run.
A simple system is loaded with only necessary system extensions and fonts.
All login items are disabled.
If you can now login, you may want to remove the login items under the system preferences>accounts>login items tab and restart.
If you can't get to the login window, don't worry.
You can boot to the install disk and do an archive and install preserving user and network settings.
Your data should be fine.

Blue screen crash upon installation

hi im doing a rebuild on my desktop and iv done a whole reset and board update.
i have a
ASUS P5N-T Deluxe motherboard
Intel core 2 duo
Nvidia GeForce XFX 8800 GTS card
MAXTOR HDD 500GB
sony DVD/CD RW
when starting up my desktop i start the installation of my windows 7 home premium and everything go great the black screen with the grey loading bars finishes and then the microsoft loading bar appears and finishes and about 5-10 seconds in the next
screen with the background picture goes to a blue screen which then says had to force shut down to protect computer and say other things like if this is first set up and thing like that and then loads of numbered codes at the bottom.
i am very confused as i am at a dead end of how to reslove this issue

Hi,
Since this happens during the installation process, this should be a hardware issue or something wrong with the installation media, I suggest to install with another installation media if possible and reset the BIOS meanwhile.
As how to reset the BIOS, you can refer to the guideline from ASUS.

Blue screen flash then no screen

During start up. I get a blue screen for about a second then it goes away. I can adjust the brightness and can kinda see something. Please help!

You must repair the HD, if Disk Utility or fsck should fail to repair it, your best bet is DiskWarrior from Alsoft, you'll need the CD to boot from if you don't have another boot drive...

Blue screen freeze at start up desparate dad pleads for help..

It's been a longgg time...
My kids use my old G4 AGP "Sawtooth" with a CPU upgrade and a SATA card for it's hard drive.
I have 10.4.11 installed.
Of course, my daughter has her homework and other data on teh hard drive without backup... (yeah, I know)
When I try to startup, everything seems normal at first. We get teh silver screen and the spinning wheel. Then a blank blue screen and that's as far as it goes.
When I boot to the 10.4 install disc and try to run disc repair it stops on
"invalid CName in thread record" and won't finish the repair.
I have never used Terminal in my life, but when booted to the install disc, it can see every file on the drive, no problem.
I have three accounts, I'm admin and the two kids accounts. I never set up a root account (whatever that is...)
I suspect that I'm not providing the needed info but I don't know what I should be listing here to help solve this problem.
Any help to an old OS 9 guy would be greatly appreciated. I don't know how to make a bootable cd or dvd that I could bott this thing from just long enough to save my daughters files and then erase and start over.

Sounds like directory damage of some sort. A few options.
1) Buy Diskwarrior. Probably the premier tool for directory repair. There's a download version but it needs to be run from a booted drive which it seems you don't have. You can wait for delivery of the disc which will allow you to boot from the disc and run the application.
2) Buy an external firewire hard drive. Get one big enough for future backup use. Meanwhile, install a new version of the operating system on that drive, boot from the drive and see if you can even see the files on the main rive. If directory damage isn't too bad you may be able to copy critical ones, though the problem with directory damage is you don't know if you're copying a damaged file. That's when just getting Diskwarrior first may just make more sense.
OSX doesn't let you make a bootable disc just by copying files onto a CD the way OS9 used to. There's a utility called CloneX that does this, but I haven't tried it. Usually what you can do is clone hte internal drive to an external drive as part of backup. The cloning places a bootable copy of the OS onto the external. Simply dragging OS files across no longer works.
By the way, the external drive has to be Firewire in order for it to be boootable. USB is okay for backup but you can't use it to boot an older computer in an emergency (new Macs are okay).

I got a blue screen and my I Phone 5 S (16MG) it tries to start and it keeps rebooting but it will not start, and if it start it goes back to the apple screen and it stays there for a long time.
I Phone 5 S 16 Mg. with system 7.1 instaled.
I Took it back to the store where I bought it from in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, but they claimed that I Plugged my phone for charging with other charging Plugs other than the provided ones , and that was not true of course .
They want to charge me more than 150 US $ to change my phone ….
Need your kind view of this.
