    Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Iphone 5 keeps getting blue screen and turning off, and wont go bk on

my iphone 5 keeps getting blue screen, turning off and not going bk on for a few hours then it comes on ive reset phone  works then it starts doing same problem over again

    Hey there aussiekris,
It sounds like your phone is unexpectedly turning off. I suggest the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article named:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

  • Blue screen when powering off

I recently purcahsed a one year old Lenovo 3000, it had Windows XP installed and I upgraded this to Windows Vista with no problems. I then renamed the laptop and deleted the previous owners user files and that's when I had a problem. When I power down the laptop I get a Blue Screen saying something about a dump and saying it was doing something to protect my PC ?  I found some kind of fault finding log and it mentioned something about the pc's name and also something about being unable to access a certain user file. I changed the computer name back to the original one and unerased the original user file but I still get the Blue Screen when powering down.
Is it possible to get a replacement software DVD that will get me back to square one please, thanks for any help. Dan McLean in Port Glasgow.

This really sounds like shoddy drivers combined with an IRQ conflict.
I suggest you post your IRQ's from System Info, for example:
    IRQ 0   System timer   OK
IRQ 1   Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard   OK
IRQ 4   Communications Port (COM1)   OK
IRQ 5   WinFast TV2000 XP WDM Audio Capture   OK
IRQ 6   Standard floppy disk controller   OK
IRQ 8   System CMOS/real time clock   OK
IRQ 9   Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System   OK

  • Pop Up Screen-"must power off computer"

I have been experiencing freezing and random shut downs of my Macbook. I recently had a gray screen pop up that said I needed to power off my computer, where it did not allow me to do anything else but shut down. Now, I am having difficulty turning it back on. Do I have a virus? How can I fix this problem?

There are no known viruses for Mac - was the warning screen in several languages? If so, you were most likely experiencing a kernel panic.
If you will go to your Help menu in Finder menu bar and type in kernel panic, there will be information and instructions on how to proceed. If the computer will not start, try starting it in Safe Mode (excerpt from Apple Help):
Shut down and wait 10 seconds.
    Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key (you should press the Shift key as soon as possible after you hear the startup tone, but not before).
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
To leave Safe mode, restart the computer normally.
If the computer successfully starts in safe mode, choose Apple menu - Software update and then download and install any updates available.
Uninstall any plug-ins or other enhancement software from third parties.
Continue troubleshooting as per Apple Help. You might also want to read the following articles:

Hopefully this will help you troubleshoot the issue causing the kernel panic.

  • Blue screen with power-on password

Enter Power-On password on blue screen when booting.  Can't get into bios or anything.  Model is HP 110  (110-210).  After 3 attemps it locks up.  No code given.

Hi: Please read the first post at the link below which may resolve your dilemma. You would enter the serial number of your notebook in the box on that BIOS password website to generate an unlock code. http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Sys... If that works... You can: 1. Use the unlock code you generated to enter the BIOS
    2. Disable all passwords that are enabled in the BIOS's security menu.
    3. If asked for current password - type the unlock code
    4. For new password, just press ENTER key
    5. Repeat the same for verify password column.

  • Firefox crashes MY COMPUTER!!! When I open it, my computer BLUE SCREENS then turns off!!!

Within the past few months, I have not been able to use Firefox at all. It started crashing my whole computer, making the whole thing go blue screen before shutting down, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it TWICE, the second time sacrificing ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS, and even after that, it STILL CRASHED MY COMPUTER! My college professors prefer that I use this browser to do my WebCT assignments (and *tests*) and I have been unable to do so.

  • Frozen Blue Screen at Power On

I just got a Imac mini from one of my friends and he doesnt have any install cd's or anything. i think its a first generation mac and he said before it started messing up it had os x 10.2
but my problem is when i turn on the computer it get frozen at the blue screen i can move the mouse and everything but it doesnt give me the option to put in a password or nothing. it stays at the blue screen
Can i reboot the hard drive? What do i have to do? How can i get restore or install cd's? Can this be fixed with a new hard drive and OS X Package?
imac mini   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

A good assortment of drives suitable for the original G4 Mac mini can be found at http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/hard-drives/
For the later Intel-based mini, suitable drives are listed at http://eshop.macsales.com/Search/Search.cfm?Criteria=MAcminiSATA&x=14&y=15&Manufacturer=
If you don't know which model you have, look at the back. 2 USB ports means it's a G4, while 4 means it's an Intel.
In either case, upgrading is not hard, but it is fiddly, Getting the casing open requires a couple of thin, flexible putty knives though once inside drive replacement is pretty straightforward. There are photographic and video guides for either system on the internet, including from a link at http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/

  • No Screen-dim Power-off Warning

Running the latest software, both iTunes and iPhone, and my iPhone is powering-off after 1 minutes without the "dim screen" warning that I used to get. In other words, at 45 seconds, the screen is not going dim; the iPhone just powers-off after 60 seconds.

it maybe that the sunblade is set to run max diags on the obp which means the screen will reamin blank until it starts to bootup.

  • When rapidly tapping my ipad 2 screen, it zoomed in really far and now I can't zoom out of it, pan around the screen, or power off.

This has made it basically unusable, when I've only had my ipad for 3 days. What can I do?

In the event that you turned on Zoom in Settings>General>Accessibilty>Zoom>On .... Try triple clicking the home button and if that returns the screen to normal - go the settings and shut it off. You can also try double tapping with three fingers and drag to change Zoom.
If you didn't enable Zoom, reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • P20 Blue screening and shutting off

I have an SP20 S203 Notebook and have been having some serious issues in that it randomly reboots or bluescreens then reboots
It has 2X 512mb Dram chips as fitted from new
I have read that many Tosh memory modules needed to be replaced as some were faulty? could this be my problem?
In addition to this I have noticed out of the 3 fans on the system the middle smaller fan never seems to be on when the other 2 are? is it perhaps broken and causing overheating?

    Hi
    your model was not covered by the memory replacement program. So in that aspect it wasn't affected. But you might have problems with the memory anyway. So if you suspect them being faulty;
remove one, work for some time (as long as you need to be sure the machine works better than before or until you get a new bluescreen). Remove the one in the machine and reinsert the other one. Repeate the process above.
If you get bluescreens with both mems then first check that they comply to the specs. If they do then look for your problem elsewhere. F.ex. what does the bluescreen say? It might not be a mem problem at all. It could be a driver problem or something completely different.
If you can find a pattern with the bluescreens and memory modules maybe you should consider replacing the faulty one.
Short and hasty explained I know. Sorry.
    Good luck

  • Blue screen Blues

    Hello,
My lap top is failing me. On occasion the beach ball will appear during a seemingly random opporation that does not necessarily require too much processing power. This happens in a number of softwear applications. Namely illustrator cs, photoshop cs and even in finder. The ball stays so I end up trying to force quit the application. This I cannot do and end up manually restarting the machine.
I then get past the apple logo screen and the blue screen appears with the start up dialogue window and filling blue bar. The bar does not quite fill before I'm presented with a solid blue screen with just the muose cursor. Nothing else. No log in window. If I restart - blue screen. Turn off then on - blue screen.
This can happen when I try and wake it up too - it flickers to the blue screen.
I tried to repair the disk using the system restore but it failed to fix the problem. Istead, each time this happens I've reinstalled OSX.
Please help as this is a really time consuming solution.
    Cheers,
    Tim
