how do I use blue tooth and infrared on my laptop and how can I read the memory card in the sd slot?

You will need to enable bluetooth on your laptop. there are usb bluetooth dongles available for sale. Install the device on the laptop, pair it with your mobile phone and simply drop the MIDlet jar file on the bluetooth ftp exchange folder on the laptop. Ensure you enable ftp service while installing the usb dongle. hope this helps.

Dead Air Phone Calls with Blue Tooth and Speaker function?

My experience with Note 4 speaker function and blue tooth headsets is they malfunction as often as they work properly during phone calls. When the speaker or blue tooth is activated during a call there is dead air between myself and the other party. I am on my fourth Note 4 in a month due to this problem, that is I bought a new phone and Verizon has sent me three replacements in an effort to fix the issue. Each phone has malfunctioned in exactly the same way. Verizon and Samsung are unable to discuss this with me other than to go through all the diagnostic steps every time I call to ask for help. I am at the point of either living with the problem or changing phones altogether.
Something I find amazing is when I talk to Verizon or Samsung they say this is not a reported issue. Maybe I am the only person who had this experience. Maybe I got the only four Note 4's (in a row) that malfunction like this. Maybe.
This leaves holding the phone to my ear, which is rather old school and does not work with my state's driving laws. Any fixes or reality checks are welcome.

I'm saddened to hear that you've had such an experience with your Galaxy Note 4's. It sounds like Verizon has done everything possible to assist with your Samsung devices. Have you noticed any patterns to when the malfunctions occur?

Blue Tooth and Mac Air

Hi, First time using the support page. I have a Blue Tooth mini speaker that worked easily with my Mac Air, until this week when it won't sync. It is the only Blue Tooth device I use (not very techno savvy :-)).
I have tried turning the speaker off and then turning it on when I try to sync... nothing seems to work.
Any thoughts?

How do you transfer songs from a MAC to a Sony Spiral phone? I have tried USB and Blue tooth and no success.

I have a Sony Spiral phone and can not transfer music to it. I have tried USB and Blue tooth. I either get a message on the iMac saying "not enough space" but I have a Micro SD card in the phone. Or via blue tooth when I select yes on the phone to confirm the transfer it automatically cancels it.

You will need to refer to the user manual for the phone.

Blue tooth and SKYPE on iPhone

It seems the blue tooth feature works with almost everything on the iphone, except SKYPE. Am I missing something or is this the case? If so, is there a remedy?

Should the developer have chosen to allow for it, the option would be available to download the last version of the app that would be compatible with your device and version of iOS.

Iphone 6 will not down load contacts into my car phone system, have tried blue tooth and usb hard wire. No success. has anyone any ideas?

I have just purchased an iPhone 6 and donwloaded IOS 8.1. I cannot get the phone to download the phone contacts into my Mercedes benz incur phone system. Have rest the network. Tried several time but still no joy. My previous Iphone 4s worked fine. Just a bit frustrated. Anyone assist?

I have the same problem on my Lincoln. My Iphone5 worked just fine until I loaded 8.1.

Blue tooth and voice assistant

I just bought a new z30 . when i use BB Assistant to voice dial from my bluetooth headset, the assistant repeats the entire contact name and number and the call will not go through when I am using a long distance card number . If I have pauses "p" included in the number she reads the telephone number as a numeral, example 555-555-5555p1234567 will be read as "five million five hundred and fifty five thousand" etc. When she is done the call is never initiated. If I use the BB asstant to dial the same number by voice without the bluetooth headset she only announces the contact name and then proceeds to dial the entire number , pauses and all without issue? It seems weird that it does it differently with and without the bluetooth. I kow you can disable voice prompts but by doing so I am unable to get the assistant to "read last tex" email etc with my bluetooth device. I have searched high and low for a fix to no avail. Is there a fix? btw I am using Motorola Boom and never had issues with it on both a Blackberry Torch and Windows 8.1 phone.

Iphone6 blue tooth and pandora problem

I have paired my ip6 to my car radio. But Pandora will not play wirelessly I still have to use a cord.
I never had this problem with previous phones. how do I fix this?
I have reset my phone to factory settings. I have unistalled all previous devices from the radio
and re paired the two still no luck. anybody have any ideas?

Do you have any VoIP software running in your handset?
I have found that having this running causes the handset to disconnect the bluetooth momentarily when it finds a WLAN.
Alternately switch off WLAN before you get in the car, this may then help to resolve the problem.
Unfortunately the car manufacturer will say its the phone and the phone manufacturer will say its the car. Neither will accept responsibility for a malfunction and you'll unlikely get a satisfactory answer. Nokia will tell you that their phones are designed to work with their kits, and the car manufacturer will say that unless you have a phone that we have on our tested list (which generally is very out of date models) then they will not support it.
It seems that most of the car kit companies test their phones with the Nokia 6210i and if that ancient phone works its job done.

I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RUN HOTSYNC, USING BLUETOOTH.
HOWEVER I DO NOT KNOW WERE ALL MY SYNC DATA IS GOING.
IT WILL SAY HOTSYNC WAS SUCCESSFUL, BUT NO SIGN OF WHAT I SYNC.
I'M RUNNING THE 6.2 VERSION OF DESK TOP, BY PALM.
I HAVE OUTLOOK 2007 INSTALLED IN P.C.
WINDOWS VISTA 64 BIT.

Try installing this free patch for 6.2 from PimlicoSoftware.com:

As explained in the sticky post above "Synchronizing older devices with Palm Desktop 6.2" it will alter the program to work with the older style databases found in devices like yours.

!!!SOLUTION !!! Hotsync TE2 with windows 7 (64bit) via blue tooth SOLUTION !!!

I recently struggled with syncing my TE2 with the palm desktop application in windows 7 as many of you have too.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, Palm desktop 4.1.4 and a blue tooth dongle.
The solution I found for my problem works like this:
Find a phone that has blue tooth and add it as device on your computer.
I used a simple Nokia 2630.
The add-proces went well and it automaticly had two COM-ports assigned that it uses for syncing or backup etc.
I shut down the phone.
Started the hotsync manager from Palm.
Klicked away error messages as that the com-port is in use by another device.
Klicked right in the tray icon for hotsync.
Select setup.
Select local.
Then get a message that the port is not available.
After that I can choose a port that IS availlable.
That is one of the ports that was assigned to my Nokia phone.
I select one of these ports and close the setup screen.
I have setup a blue tooth hotsync connection on my TE2.
Hereafter I can sync my TE2 with the Palm desktop 4.1.4 without a problem.
Just don't use the phone and hotsync at the same time.
The only messagfes I got are from docstogo that powerpoint does not work anymore, but you can ignore that message.
After one hotsync these messages don't appear anymore.
I don't start the hotsync program at startup, but start it manually.
I start it in compatibilitymode for Windows XP (Servicepack 3).
Right-klick on desktop icon choose compatilbility, check first box and from the dropdownlist choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
Until now . . . . . . no problems.
I hope somebody can use this too.
P.S. When you start the hotsync prog it can last a little while before it appears in your taskbar.

Do you absolutely want to use the slower BlueTooth connection, or would you rather use the USB cable as designed?

IPhone 4s blue tooth siri can't understand me.

The blue tooth is seriously the only thing making me want to go back to Blackberry. Siri does not understand me while using blue tooth and a lot of the calls I get on my phone while in my vehicle will revert back to the phone settings and I will lose blue tooth al together. Do you think this is something that Apple will fix or am I going to be only half happy with this phone?

There does appear to be a know issue with Ford vehicles. If yours is a Ford it is likely that your will need a software upgrade to your bluetooth in your vehicle. Ford dealers can do this for you.

Problem remebering bluetooth pairing with 09 Saab (Gm blue tooth)

I have a 09 saab 9-3, and the car has built in blue tooth. The problem is when i pair the phone it works while the car stays on that whole time. The minuet i turn the car off and try to come back into the car it will not reconnect. If you go to setting and blue tooth and try to tap the correct device it still wont reconnect. The only way to get my GM Blue tooth and my Apple iphone to work is to pair it every time i sit in the car and that just isn't feasible!

1.   Click the Manage Connections icon on your Home screen
2.   First, verify that the Bluetooth technology is turned On
3.   Then select Set Up Bluetooth
4.   Click Search to find other devices or Listen to allow your BlackBerry smartphone to be discovered by other Bluetooth devices
5.   Click on the device you would like to pair with and enter the Numeric Passkey if required
6.   Click Yes
7.   To connect to a paired device, click the Options icon on the Home screen
8.   Select Bluetooth
9.   Click on a Bluetooth enabled device and select Connect
Make sure your headset is also in discoverable mode. Instructions should be included in it's user manual. If this does not work, then I would assume a compatibility issue.
Disclaimer: I'm just a regular user like the rest of you. I have spent a lot of time learning the limitations of the Blackberries to know how to fix most problems. If I have suggested a fix, please give a kudo and mark as a solution!

Thank you for responding. Everything was working a short while ago. Apple tv, iPhone 4s and macbook pro on blue tooth and now nothing works. The assistant looks at the network as not there. but, the macbook pro works fine wit the blue printer??

Hi,
Unfortunately the printer is not e-Print enabled which means you cannot use the e-Print or AirPrint functionality which both work over wi-fi and not bluetooth.
The IPad does not have any options for bluetooth printing. I've included a link here to printers that are web connected and support wireless printing.
There's a thread here that covers this issue also.
