The blue tooth device does not work on Win 10. 1. The laptop can pair with my Android phone... but I cannot upload photos from the Android phone 2. The message on my phone says connection failed. to the laptop.

I have looked into the issue you are having with Bluetooth and came across some documents that may help you resolve the Bluetooth issue. The first document I found is called Using Bluetooth Devices. This document has other helpful information about drivers, making sure everything is bluetooth enabled, fixing bluetooth problems, etc. Have you tried to update the driver that is currently installed? Have you tried doing the updates in Safe Mode?Have you tried in the Device Manager to uninstall the driver that is currently installed? You could try to uninstall the driver you currently have, restart the Notebook and then reinstall the newer driver either from the HP ENVY 15-j084ca Notebook PC Driver's Page (although there is not a driver specified in the Windows 10 column, there is a Windows 8.1 Version of the Driver put out on July 31st, that should work) or you could use the HP Support Assistant. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating for Windows 10. I was told by Samsung that they don't provide the blue tooth driver for Windows 7 for their Galaxy S5 cellphone. They said that the maker of the PC is responsible for that. I don't see any drivers for blue tooth devices of any kind being provided by HP, so I'm thinking that what the Samsung rep can't be correct. Nonetheless, I'm posting this post in hopes someone may know if there 1. is a driver and 2. where to get it. I have a HP Media Center m7050y (PX153AV) CTO Desktop PC that is running Windows 7 Ultimate. I of course have a blue tooth doggle in one of my USB ports and it is working correctly. I know this because I have other blue tooth devices running. Any help will be appreciated.

You have a functioning blue tooth dongle.
Other blue tooth devices are working correctly.
Samsung would have to provide blue tooth driver support. Or contact the blue tooth dongle manufacturer for assistance.
Your HP PC shipped with Win XP. Blue tooth driver support/ hardware was not available when your PC was manufactured.

No, the bluetooth profile in the iPad does not provide that
capacity. Can your netbook be a wifi transmitter? If yes,
you can connect to the internet via htc-phone and pass
the connection to the netbook which will connect via wifi
to iPad. I am not familiar with the hardware in netbooks nor
the capabilities of Windows, so what I am suggesting looks
good in theory but the reality may not allow it. Still worth
checking into.

I have a Sony Vaio E Series with WINDOWS 7 64bit home basic preinstalled. It worked perfectly fine for 2 yrs until last month, I needed to replace the hard drive due to bad sectors. Now, after a month of replacing my hard drive fresh from
Sony Center, I decided to do a dual boot (install another OS - Windows 8.1 pro) on a separate partition. Everything is averagely fine. But 2 nights ago, I encounter a blue screen error for WIN 7 (my pre installed one). It happened the second time, so I started
it in safe mode and did a system restore. I don't know if it will prevent future occurence of blue screen, but to make sure, I reinstall my factory default drivers using Vaio CARE... Pls help.
PS: I have not encountered BLUE SCREEN error in Windows 8.1 yet. Is it OS specific? Here's the error the second time, it happened on my Windows 7:

If you are not equipped to debug this problem, you should use some basic troubleshooting techniques.
•Make sure you have enough disk space.
•If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
•Try changing video adapters.
•Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates.
•Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

What is the Best Blue Tooth headset for the i-phone 3 G? And why?

Could anyone please tell me what the best Blue Tooth headset for the I-Phone 3 G is, quality and comfort wise, I have tiny ears and don't like the headset that they give with the i-phone it hurts in my ears! I drive a truck so I use a Blueparrot BT150. Crystal clear reception, and no one, and I have asked, can tell that I am on a headset. Best noise cancelling mic on the market in my opinion. BUT, it is bigger than most headsets and some people don't like that.
On the smaller side...finally found what my wife and I think is the best bang for the buck for hers. The Jabra BT 530 Blackmagic. Its small, lightweight, and from my experience talking to her, an extremely good noise cancelling mic.

Mozilla Firefox will not stay, or open up, on my computer, AFTER the Windows 10 upgrade. An error message, constantly, appears, after my computer screen keep blinking to a black screen, before a BLANK box stay on the black screen ... and FREEZES everything. The computer curser, also, disappears. Obviously, this driver was not updated dring the upgrading. "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows 7(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Is there a fix, or Windows 10 driver update, for this?

MissBliss, I just ended up un-installing it, and re-installing it, again; which I will tell you is difficult to get done. It kept telling me that I already have the most recent one ... where it was installed/updated when my computer was updated to Windows 10. I, actually, played around with it, for like 2 days, trying to make it happen. Anyway, only some things seems to be working, now. I still can't try to open Firefox; without that black/blue screen flashing, and, then, finally, freezing ... my computer crashing. I, finally, just un-installed Mozilla Firefox on my computer that this keeps happening on. I still want to return to Windows Home Premium; everything was working so beautifully, when I had it. Personally, I wished that I have never reserved the Windows 10 app. They made it sound so great, when promoting it. I, now, understand that saying 'BEWARE of fox in sheep clothing,' more. There seems to be NO help from Microsoft; and no willingness to, even, help/solve, by Microsoft. I will admit that two of my computers that were upgraded seems to be doing okay ... although, the Windows 10 upgrade, did, make ALL but one printer, connected to them, AND the one that I am having problems with, inoperable. My computers do not, even, recognize them, or their drivers, as being installed. Everything as working just fine, before Windows 10 came along. So, this makes me angry, also. Good Luck with finding/getting an answer, THAT WORKS! I hope that you have more success, than I did. Windows 10 is becoming more and more of a disappointment.

The questions to ask them is:
1. Which applications can be used to burn bluray movies from it?
2. Which applications can be used to playback commercial bluray from it?
3. Does it let you burn DVDs from iDVD, iTunes and the Finder as well as CDs and CD-RWs?
4. Does it support both DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL for burning and playback?
5. Does it allow for booting from the system installer that shipped with the machine and running the hardware test that shipped with the machine?
6. Do you get to keep the original optical drive in case you want to troubleshoot if system issues are due to their drive?
Some of these may already be on the website, I just haven't taken the time to look it completely over.

Driver is not in pull up list and not in OS(can't update OS basic). Almost all series are listed but 4200 series is missing.
After upgrade to Windows 7, it has become a problem. Some solution should be given.

Ok, I found in the Net the drive 7uw706ww.zip, which is Version 6.1.4.2, while the updated version is 6.1.10.5 (7UW708WW).
I tried again the GPS, and it wasn't working.
Anyway, before downgrading, I tried to reinstall the new driver, downloading and installing the .exe instead going through System Update.
Result: now GPS is working (same place, same conditions, just 5 minutes later)!
Don't know where the difference is...

Lenovo Thinkpad 8 Wifi driver for Windows 10?

I've installed Windows 10 Technical Preview on my Lenovo Thinkpad 8. It's been working pretty nicely, except for one thing: the Broadcom Wifi card driver (Broadcom BCM4324 Wireless LAN Driver). Since this doesn't work I have to use a USB antenna.
This driver has gotten no update since the release of the Thinkpad 8! I tried running it in "Windows 8 compatibiliy mode" and that still doen't work. Does anŷone know of a possible way to make it work (either with an update, or an older driver in compatibility mode)? Any idea or suggestion (or word from Broadcom) is welcome!

I had the same problem and installed the Win 8.1 version of the driver.
First deinstall the microsoft driver, download the driver from http://support.lenovo.com/<xx>/<xx>/products/tablets/thinkpad-tablet-series/thinkpad-8/?tabName=Down...
replace <xx> by your language code. eg. en (my language code was de)
look for Broadcom BCM4324 Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 8.1 (32-bit) - ThinkPad 8 or (64-bit in case)
Start the installer and you're done.

You may download the Universal Print Driver PCL5 below, it is compatible with both Windows 7 or 8 64-bit.
For USB select Plug n Play, for network select Tradiotional Mode and follow the steps by setting a TCP/IP Port with the IP Address of the printer:

I understand that you need the driver for Windows 8.1. I would be happy to help you.
I checked the website and unfortunately there isn't any drivers to be able to download for Windows 8.1 for the HP Deskjet 1280 Printer. But you should be able to install the printer with a Windows generic driver. Plug the printer into the computer to see if Windows will automatically install a OS. driver.
You might have to add the driver manually, here are the steps:
Go to the start up screen. (tiles menu)
Type in "Devices and Printers", select settings, click on Devices and Printers.
Click on Add Printer and follow the steps.
Select the HP Deskjet PCL3 Class Driver from the list.

There are two ways to download and install the ful featured software for Deskjet F370..
1> Please download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard from www.hp.com/go/tools
2> Or click HERE to go to driver page, select your PC OS , click next and then click on Driver and download full featured software.
