Any typed characters not showing on monitor in IDEA CENTRE, but Lenova blue tooth keyboard icon shows in
device and printer folder, bluetooth connections shows authenticated in bluetooth keyboard properties..
what will be the solutions..

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

my keyboard displays numbers instead of letters I have to reboot to rectify it occurs again a day or so later

what type of pc you have a desktop or laptop ??
to me it sounds like a laptop and check the NUMber LOCK key if it is active and press it and see what happens

Using blue tooth key board with Apple TV, possible?.

I thought I read somewhere that if you were connected via earth net cable you could use a keyboard with ATV, Any thoughts. I also want to say that Thanks Apple for the update as it appears to me to work very well Thank You.CC

it can't work with your mouse at all
to pair it with your bluetooth keyboard you must
1. make sure the keyboard is not connected to anything else if it is it will not work
2. put the keyboard in pairing mode
3. pair the 2 devices

I can't find in the spec's where this laptop is blue tooth compatable, does anyone, know...'cuz I am really tired of running downstairs to print. Have HP C5550
Also, this keyboard is typeing very hinky, like have to type like a 2 year old 'cuz it does't pick up all the letter. Very annoying, any suggestions, other then another $1,000 for a new laptop?

you will have to power off the wireless keyboard...or go into your settings and turn off the bluetooth when you aren't using it.
the default for hte ipad is to only have one keyboard at a time. And if your ipad senses a blue tooth attached, your onscreen one will not be visible.

Blue tooth trouble

I have had no trouble pairing my blue tooth keyboard to my HP 10 inch (2101)tablet up until today. I have the android os 4.4 Kit Kat. I tried to get it to connect and now I get a message saying that I have to type a series of numbers and hit enter to connect and use my keyboard when I never had to do that before. So I typed the numbers on my key board and it just says it can't connect. What could be the problem? I turned the keyboard on and pushed the connect button before hand and the blue light above the blue tooth button just flashes. Am I supposed to type the numbers and push enter on my toush screen keyboard? Much help would be appreciated as I would like to be able to use my physical keyboard again

Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand you're experiencing issues pairing your Bluetooth keyboard to the HP 10 2101 tablet.
Which model keyboard are you using? Are you able to pair other Bluetooth devices to the tablet?
For now please try the following.
Clear all cache on the tablet: Settings > Storage > Cached Data. You should have the option to erase all the cached data here.
Hard reset: While the tablet is on, press and hold the power button for 8+ seconds to force shut down. Turn the tablet back on and see if that helps.
Factory reset: Make sure you backup any important files or information first. Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset.

TS3048 blue tooth stopped workimg

Not sure if anyone could help me on this. All of a sudden my computer no longer has the blue-tooth icon and my mouse and key board stopped working. If I go into the system it is marked in red. I cannot get it to discover any devices. I figure the blue-tooth module short-circuited and I got to bring it in to the store. Any suggestions.

Other option is try to delete the plist (preferences archive) in the Library.
To go to Library folder you can open the menu Go, having selected Finder, push the key ALT to see the Library -> Preferences folder and there you must move the file com.Apple.Bluetooth.xxxxxxx.plist to the Desktop.
Then restart and the plist archive must be regenerate. If doesn't work yes, you need to go to Apple Store or Apple Service Provider.

Blue tooth searching when off

Hi,
I chose not to use Blue tooth keyboard or mouse, have removed all blue tooth devises from the list in settings, turned off blue tooth.
Why dose my computer still search for blue tooth?
When it is searching for the mouse it disables the CABLE Mighty Mouse & the Key Board.

Loss of Blue tooth function after upgrade to 10.6

I have a MacBook Pro... I also have a Motorola Droid that was working perfectly with blue tooth when I was using OS 10.5 etc... I was able to "Browse" my phone, Transfer files, it worked like a dream. After upgrading my OS to Snow Leopard... I am unable to transfer files or do any thing of any value using the blue tooth connection on my computer. When I attempt to "Browse" the phone I get the message "The Device does not have the necessary services" I have searched the forums for help with this issue... I'm seeing a lot of "your phone doesn't have that capability" or "your provider has disabled that to make you pay more" or worse yet... I've seen things like "blue tooth isn't made for file transfer it's only for headsets and headphones.
Admittedly most of the people posting these questions had never been able to browse or transfer files before and were just now trying to make this work. I on the other hand had been able to use all these services. Which is why I am not considering my phone as the source of the problem at this time.
Nothing has changed on my phone "no updates in software" and the only change that was made is going from Leopard to Snow Leopard. This is leading me to the conclusion that there is something I'm not seeing in 10.6.x that has caused an issue with my blue tooth functionality... I have gone in to system preferences, in to file sharing and enabled sharing in bluetooth... I have also tried to delete the Bluetooth plist file as was suggested in other discussion forums.
This has not changed any thing I still get the same error when trying to transfer files or browse. If any one else has any advice on something I could try to return my bluetooth function to Pre10.6 that would be most helpful... I'm aware of work arounds "Emailing my self,,, etc." I'd prefer to have my bluetooth back.
Sorry if this post sounds harsh or snippy... I'm getting very frustrated.

This depends on your usage. If you find performance with 1GB to be satisfactory (maybe not optimal, but satisfactory), just keep using it as is. A new logic board (which will likely be used or refurbished depending on the source) is $400-$800 plus installation. I don't know what company's charge to repair the logic board.
If you decide to go with a new system, you can sell your current system to offset the cost. Or just keep it as backup/extra/computer, or give it to a family member who can use it. If I were going to give it to a family member, I'd reinstall Tiger, as it probably will work a little better in 1GB than Leopard.

!!!SOLUTION !!! Hotsync TE2 with windows 7 (64bit) via blue tooth SOLUTION !!!

I recently struggled with syncing my TE2 with the palm desktop application in windows 7 as many of you have too.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, Palm desktop 4.1.4 and a blue tooth dongle.
The solution I found for my problem works like this:
Find a phone that has blue tooth and add it as device on your computer.
I used a simple Nokia 2630.
The add-proces went well and it automaticly had two COM-ports assigned that it uses for syncing or backup etc.
I shut down the phone.
Started the hotsync manager from Palm.
Klicked away error messages as that the com-port is in use by another device.
Klicked right in the tray icon for hotsync.
Select setup.
Select local.
Then get a message that the port is not available.
After that I can choose a port that IS availlable.
That is one of the ports that was assigned to my Nokia phone.
I select one of these ports and close the setup screen.
I have setup a blue tooth hotsync connection on my TE2.
Hereafter I can sync my TE2 with the Palm desktop 4.1.4 without a problem.
Just don't use the phone and hotsync at the same time.
The only messagfes I got are from docstogo that powerpoint does not work anymore, but you can ignore that message.
After one hotsync these messages don't appear anymore.
I don't start the hotsync program at startup, but start it manually.
I start it in compatibilitymode for Windows XP (Servicepack 3).
Right-klick on desktop icon choose compatilbility, check first box and from the dropdownlist choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
Until now . . . . . . no problems.
I hope somebody can use this too.
P.S. When you start the hotsync prog it can last a little while before it appears in your taskbar.

Looking for a blue tooth keyboard that is compatible with the iPad air that has slideshow functionality for pairing with a monitor. I thought Zagg had one but they do not with the new operating system.

Use Type > Fill with Placeholder Text to generate lots of text. Select some text, then use Window > Info to display the number of selected words. Expand or contract the selection by holding Shift, or Shift+Cmd/Ctrl, and pressing arrow keys. When you have the number of words you want, copy, press Escape, click an empty spot on a page, then paste; the copied text appears in is own text frame. Select the frame and use Object > Fitting > Fit Frame to Content contain all the text within the frame.
Search Google for terms like "InDesign placeholder text" without quotes for info on changing the actual placeholder text, and also info on a text generator.

Why cant send imessage without hitting "send" using blue tooth keyboard?

its quite annoying when you type with a blue tooth keyboard sending imessage you have to hit the "send" button on the screen all the way across instead of hitting the "enter" key on the keyboard
is there any option we can choose from the system??

I do not think there is a way around it. But try pressing the Tab key several times until the Send button lights up. If that works, pressing Return on the keyboard should be equivalent to hitting the Send button on the screen.
If that does not work, try each of the function keys along the top of the keyboard, in case one of them has been pre-programmed to Send a message. You may have to hold down the fn key (bottom left).
You might look into using the "Assistive Touch" feature at Settings-General-Accessibility-Assistive Touch. I do not know what it does, but it mentions having difficulty touching the screen.

I can not transfer the video,pictures using the blue tooth. Though mobile display says I pad paired,
But I pad is not connected to the mobile, even both places pass key is entered ok.

Transferring of files via Bluetooth on iOS is not supported. Bluetooth on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch is for the use of external keyboards, speakers earphones and accessories like those.
