Blueprint graphic attributes - Global setting possible?

Within the blueprint graphic tab, an automatic graphic (EPC) is created. On this graphic you then can set three attributes, e.g. show arrowheads or show interface icons.
I want this setting to be done for the whole blueprint in order to have a standard look for these graphics. Is this possible, and if yes, how can this be done?

I have Satellite Pro M70. Generally the graphic card upgrade on notebooks is not possible. CPU maybe but graphic card . I really dont believe it.
Can you imagine what happen inside of notebook if the exchange could be possible?

I am reading the SAP library , and wondering if it is possible to global setting all webdynppro application under certain package.

This is possible.
Because WDY_SETTINGS table have buffer settings , so you will not see the changes instantly.

Table where SE03-Global setting is kept

Hello,
My question is about the parameter "Global setting" defined in "Set system change option" in SE03. I would like to define a background process that gets the value of this parameter and print it using a printer.
In order to achieve the above, I will need to obtain the value of this parameter either thru the table where it is or an standard program.
I tried program RSWBO004 in background but it didn´t work (is not possible to print the result). So, does anybody know in which table is this parameter?

I checked table DLV_SYSTC and I found some software components but I couldn´t find the entry for "Global setting". In case it is there, could you tell me which DLVUNIT is?

Not able to use new attribute in set defination

Experts,
I have created one custom variable employeestatus. Did the binding with 'user' object and also added in MPR 'Synchronization: Synchronization account controls users it synchronizes'..
However I am still not able to use the new attribute in Set definition.
Error says access denied.
Please suggest.

Hi,
You need to add it to one of FilterPermission objects (depending on what you need either Administrator Filter Permission or Non-Administrator Filter Permission).
Go to All Resources, locate Filter Permission, open one of them and add your attribute to the Allowed
Attributes under Permitted Filter Attributes tab.

How can I create a uniquely file deployment.properties for all users of this client (new and existing profiles) ?
Create a directory "documents and setting/all users/application data/sun/java/deployment/" with the file deployment.properties don't work.
Create a directory "documents and setting/default user/application data/sun/java/deployment/" with the file deployment.properties is working but is not good for the existing users. This is good uniquely for new users.
is there a solution ?

For windows, the system config file is at:
{Windows Directory}\Sun\Java\Deployment\
The value of the {Windows Directory} is determined by using the Win32 API GetWindowsDirectory.
So for example, on XP, the system config file is:
c:\WINDOWS\Sun\Java\Deployment\deployment.properties
The settings in this system config file will be used by all users on the system.

This is true.
I can get the system install to work if I add the parameter:
deployment.system.cachedir=C\:\\testcache
to the deployment.properties file found under:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment
but it will NOT work by adding it to the:
C:\WINDOWS\Sun\Java\Deployment
directory. It just creates a new default one in the user's folder.
What am I doing wrong?
If there is not a way to globally set the System Cache location, then this isn't much better than the user cache for being able to "install" the software once on the PC and let any user that signs in access that application.
We had high hopes for this, since this functionality was taken away from us once the java cache started being stored in the user's folders.
More details:
I just tried setting the mandatory=true setting and it tells me that it is not allowed to start because it can't find the
deployment.properties in the same folder (full path is displayed) but I know it is there, because it is the same folder. I even double checked the spelling.
Maybe there is a bug in the way it finds that properties file, or maybe I need to include something in that file that I didn't find in documentation?
All it has in it is the one line:
deployment.system.cachedir=C\:\\testcache
Can anybody help shed light on this?
It seems to be a bug that it can't find the deployment.properties file in the 'system' folder.

In Hyperion Workspace 11.1.1.3, is there a way to globally set the Hyperion Reporting User Point of View to 'on' for all users?

Yes, you can. I believe it is in the Hyperion\products\biplus\lib folder for 11.1.1.3, but you may have to search for it. Look for fr_repserver.properties. Change the "     Prompt User POV" property from OFF to ON. You will have to restart the following services.
1.     Hyperion Financial Reporting – Print Server
2.     Hyperion Financial Reporting – Report Server
3.     Hyperion Financial Reporting – Scheduler Server
4.     Hyperion Financial Reporting – Web Application (might be on different server)

I have created the Set type for that.
I have assigned those things to Product.

Globally set "float" for my windows... and Skins?

I really liked how PS would allow me to open up any .psd etc, in it's own floating window, so I could select then drag an image from one doc to the other.
Cant do that with the default settings in CS5...but I've found a way to 'force' that for each doc I open AFTER I open it via the top nav bar icon to enable the float for that doc...
IS there a way to globally set CS5 to only ever open any PS doc with that already set to the float window setting?
Can't find it so far...but surely that must exist, right?
RE: my subject item on Skins...the overall "gray-ness" of the CS5 GUI gets me down...I also can not find out how to "skin" the gray away....can you?

huge 27" HP that is powered by a nVidea card...absolutely great look/feel and the workstation powering same is a great Dell box.
that said, it's not the monitor, nor the ambient light here at the office..it's the dang all gray look that bugs me the most...then the poor contrast tween the type on that gray...then the overall gray top bar too...
just too too gray for me. if this continues to bug me, I'll just go back to CS3....dont need any of the new features in CS5....and the 'comfort' of using an interface that is easy to use is more imp to me than being "current" with versions ever would be...
can't be alone on this either as I've read many many threads on this - just google for this and you'll see many think same as me....an app should be
transparent in it's GUI usage....not a hindrance...

Is anyone aware of a global setting to do the x-UA-Compatible setting for a given SAP Server? We are having compatibility issues with SAP now that we have some apps outside that require it to be turned off.

If not try this: Add the url parameter sap-ie=EmulateIE9 in the url, then it should work.

You can give this a try on your Ultimate machine. While these are said to be for Vista, I used it on my Win 7 machine just fine and it fixed the problems I was having. Hope it works for you.
The problem is that Vista, by default, will only use NTLMv2 for authentication, which is not supported by Mac OS X's Windows Sharing service.
The other problem is the Minimum Session Security for NTVLM SSP based Clients.
To get around this:
1.     In Vista, open the Control Panel
2.     Switch to "Classic" view
3.     Double-click Administration Tools
4.     Double-click Local Security Policy
5.     Or Secpol.msc
6.     Expand "Local Policies" and select "Security Options"
7.     Alternate : Type secpol.msc to get editor up then
8.     Locate "Network Security: LAN Manager Authentication Level" in the list and double-click it.
9.     Change the setting from "Send NTMLv2 response only" to "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session if negotiated"
10.     Network Security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP Based (including secure RPC) Clients
11.     Change the setting from "require 128 bit" to unchecked (No Minimum)
12.     Click OK

Live colour takes away "global" setting in colour group. ?

when adjusting a colour group with live colour (edit colour) I notice once I adjust the swatches the global setting of the swatch is lost (thus all objects in the document that had that global setting attachment are now orphaned), is there a way around this in the live colour dialogue box? or does adjusting colour swatches via live colour mean we lose the global status of that swatch..
at the moment my view is global colours can only be adjusted by double clicking them and adjusting, (if you want to keep their status as global),
same with selecting objects and adjusting via live colour, the global status is lost, as the global status can only be maintained by adjusting the global swatch via double clicking the swatch in the swatches panel.

It's not clear what you mean by "random pattern placement."
If you are talking about randomly applying a set of Pattern Swatches to a selection of objects, the script named JET_RandomFillSwatches.jsx, which can be downloaded from this page can do that. The script randomly applies the swatches in your current Swatch Palette, so it will not automatically do only Pattern Swatches. You would need to make sure you have no regular color swatches in your Swatches Palette.

You have not defined or misdefined the NLS_LANG environmental variable before trying to run the export command.

How do I globally set in and out points on a large number of images?

As the post asks: How do I globally set in and out points on a large number of images before sending to the timeline? In AVID I can do this in the Script view. How do I do it in FCP?

Thanks. I assumed I needed to set in and out points. I have not done an image sequence in FCP. If I have a 10 second image and a 2 second transition, but then change the duration of the transition to say 4 seconds then FCP will let me alter the transition duration?
With regards to movie clips, what happens with setting global in and out points? How would I do that?

Ok guys, found it... (on my XI 3.0 machine... XI 2.0 is similar)
\Business Objects\Performance Management xx.x\setup directory..
prefsCopyUtil.jar and using the PrefsCopyUtil.properties file...
1) Ensure that the following files are in the same folder, for example or example, C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 11.5\setup:

Any way to globally set "edit keyword tag"

When you double click a keyword in the Keyword List, you're taken to the "Edit Keyword Tag" window, where you have several option boxes to click. Is there any way to globally set these options. For instance, I would like to always forego the option to "export containing keywords." (I'm finding it easier to click the containing keywords according to my preference, which is easy to do, since all the containing keywords appear as part of the hierarchy.)
But of course I don't want to go through each and every keyword that I already have and unclick that option. It'd be far easier to do this globally. Is that an option anywhere?

You cannot edit the items with the iPod.
You should edit them in iTunes and then sync the iPod.
