Bluetooth adapter and iPod

I'm looking for a bluetooth adapter that will sync with an iPod touch. Does anyone know of one? I'm trying to connect my bluetooth speaker to my iPod.
Thanks,
Okitchr

You can get a lot of Bluetooth adapters for iPod via Best Buy. You can even search it online.

Nano 6th generation and i connected the motorola D650 bluetooth adapter and it says unsupported device?  Any suggestions, this should work as Apple told me it would and instruction manual for headphones specifically mentioned Ipod.
    Thanks

I've heard that there are some Ipod adapters out that will work with this trick but it would be nice if anyone knew a way to make this adapter work. I think it is a popular trick since the adapter from oakley that does work is now on back order.

    Hi  ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. It is a great site for information and questions. I have looked into your issue about your  HP ENVY 15-j101ex Notebook and issues with the  Wireless drivers. Here is a link to your driver page.  Here is a link for troubleshooting the Wireless connection. I would use the section on The Windows 8 Network and Internet Troubleshooter. Here is a link that will show you how to connect a Bluetooth device to your Notebook.  Hope this helps you connect. Thanks.

  • Bluetooth adapter for iPod Nano 6G

Is it possible to stream music FROM an iPod Nano 6G to an iMac using a Bluetooth adapter dongle?  I'd like to wear my iPod nano as a watch, plug a Bluetooth adapter in, and play my music out of my imac's speakers if possible.
    Thanks!

there are a bunch of bluetooth adapters for ipods.. they are attached to the 30-pin connector, and synced to the audio receptor. They are designed for all non bluetooth ipods (nano, classic)..... something like this:

  • Bluetooth Adapter and Headphones Woes!! It was Better on OS 2.2.1

I am hoping someone can help me with my bluetooth scenario. I connect my iPhone to the car stereo via its headphone jack and also to my Jabra SP700 bluetooth device. I cruise listening to the iPod feature of my iPhone and when a call comes in, the music stops and the bluetooth kicks in for the call. I get sound and microphone through the bluetooth. When I hang up, the bluetooth stops emitting sound and the iPod resumes music play over headphones and I am HAPPY!
With the OS 3.0, that appears to have gone away -- my happiness that is! I have found at least 2 undesirable features:
    1. When I receive a phone call bluetooth kicks in and I can talk fine. However, when I hang up, the music doesn't resume anymore. I have to unlock the phone and hit play again (or double 'home' click) -- BUT now the music plays over my bluetooth headset instead of the headphones like it was before the call. I then have to fiddle with it to return it to 'headphones'. This seems less user friendly than it was before OS 3.0.
    2. If I try to make a call while music is playing, it tries to handle the call via the headphones, but nothing comes out. The bluetooth does not kick in and I can't hear anything. I again have to change the audio option manually once it actually starts ringing. When the call is over and I hit play on the iPod again (yes it does not resume playing like it used to), it starts playing music over the bluetooth adapter -- Again, not what I want.
I have looked at the settings and I can't find anything to help me out here. I would like an option that lets me state what output to play iPod out of and what channel to interact the phone over. That way I could always have music from headphones and telephony via bluetooth.
I realize that stereo bluetooth is a cool new feature, but I would just like the option of it working like it did under OS 2.2.1.
Anyone have any suggestions? Can I easily revert to the old OS?
    Thanks,
    Blaylock

I'm having a similar issue - only iPhone is connected directly into my iPod-enabled car stereo (through a USB connection to back of stereo/standard iPhone connector cable into iPhone; installed by 3rd party vendor.)
If I'm listening to iPhone music through speakers (whether from a playlist/iPod selection, streaming Pandora, etc.) and turn on Jabra SP700 device, music is diverted to play through the Jabra speaker instead. This means I can only have the Jabra on when I know I'm going to make a call (I'll temporarily switch car stereo to radio, which doesn't conflict), but it also means I can't use it to intercept incoming calls without taking eyes off of the road, ugh.
I'm going to try to re-pair the devices later this afternoon - have already deleted my existing JabraSP700 profile on the iPhone - & will try re-pairing the devices later this afternoon. But are there other configuration changes I need to make to either the iPhone or the Jabra if that doesn't work?

  • Digital AV Adapter and iPod Touch

I bought an Apple Digital AV Adapter, and I've been a big disappointment. I connected my iPod Touch 4G with an HDMI cable and my Sony Led TV and ... only see videos from iTunes and my photos and home movies, why not games and other applications? Is it a Apple's policy decición? Why when I go to a iPoint not tell me these limitations? I have my iPod with version 6.0.1, Did you fixed in the next version? or can someone confirm if they will not do? and return the "Apple Digital AV Adapter".
    Thanks for the replies.

On the 4G and below, TV out only works with apps that support TV out. It is up to the developer to enable TV out.
iOS devices like the 5G iPod touch, iPhone 4S and later and iPad 2 and later have processors/hardware that allow mirroring the device's screen via TV out.

  • Hotsyncing a palm centro using a bluetooth adapter and windows vista 64 bit

Please help. I have read and followed all of the other suggestions on this forum and nothing has worked.
I have a palm treo.  When I try to hotsync using the bluetooth adapter, it gives me a message stating:
"unable to connect, port is being used by another application".
I have rebooted, soft reset, etc.    and still get the same message.
I do not know how to set up another port on the windows vista program.  That was one suggestion.
I have selected both bluetooth and serial port under the hot sync manager.
    Nothing works.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    thanks

Hello akashmedehrotra and welcome to the community.....
Windows Vista 64 bit is only sync with a wireless connection.  Either Bluetooth or Infra Red.  The M515 does not have bluetooth, so you would have to purchase an IR Dongle and sync using Infra Red.  You won't be able to sync with the USB cable on your desktop.

  • IPHONE UBS Adapter and iPOD UBS Adapter

Does anyone know if one can use the UBS adapter from iPOD Mini to connect the iPHONE 3GS? Be great to have one packed for my travels and one at home.
    Thanks!

All of the plug parts and the cables will work with any iPod.
That includes the older style power adapter and the new one - i.e. the one that comes with either the iPhone 3G or the 3GS which is just the plug. I'm fairly certain they will also power up all old iPods (except the shuffles of course).

  • Travel Adapter and iPod USB Power Adapter

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but this is all new to me so please bear with me I just bought an iPod video, a World Travel Adapter kit and the Power Duo kit - which contains a power block wall charger, USB mini cable, and car charger. I was looking at the plugs in the travel kit and do not see how they work. The product data says that it works with the USB power adapter - which at this point I am assuming is different than the power block wall charger? Can someone verify this for me? Also, can someone then tell me how these travel adapters plug into the USB power adapter (or power block wall charger) so that they can be used when traveling overseas. I can't tell from the photo of the USB adapter how this would be done...I don't want to buy yet another power adapter if I don't need one, but I sure can't see how they work with what I have so far or how they would work with the USB power adapter..I would have thought that the travel kit would have some with everything that I need but apparently it doesn't.
    Thanks in advance.

    ipod video   Other OS

Now I have hooked it up to a PC without itunes on it. The ipods says it is charging but when you disconnect you can see that the battery level is even lower. Does this mean that I should just take back the ipod to exchange it for a working one?
    Thanks

  • Apple FireWire Power Adapter and iPod Classic

I just looked through the user guide, and it doesn't mention anything positive or negative about using the Apple FireWire Power Adapter that came with my 3G iPod. Any chance I'm going to fry my new iPod if I try charging it with the Firewire Power Adapter?
    Thanks,
    Steve

No, you will not fry your new iPod.

  • Car Bluetooth Stereo and iPod Nano 7th Generation

    Hi,
I have a Renault Clio (2000) with factory fitted stereo which has just decided to break. I would like a new stereo to replace the old one but want to be able to wirelessly connect my iPod Nano 7th Generation (i.e. Bluetooth) as I hate using an AUX cable in my car. Which stereo would be suitable for my iPod. I have a budget of around £100 and looked on Halfords but no of the stereo's stated they would play over Bluetooth.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Nathan

You are looking for one that supports Bluetooth profile A2DP.

  • Amazon power adapter and iPod Touch 4

I am waiting for an iPod Touch 4th gen to arrive and now I wonder: The iPods usually don't have the actual Apple Power Adaptor included and instead of that, there is only a USB cable. However, I happen to own the Amazon Kindle which has the adaptor for US sockets. Is it possible to charge the iPod Touch 4 (without damaging it, of course) with the Amazon adaptor whilst its specifications are: Input 100-240V ~ 0.15A 50/60Hz; Output: 5.0V ... 0.85A
I should also mention that I am living in EU, so I will be using it with a reduction for EU sockets but that shouldn't anyhow interfere with the functionality, I suppose.
    Thank you

It should work but the current (0.85 A is a little lower than the Griffen (1A) charger I use so it may charge a little slower. However, most USB ports on computer only put out about 1/2 A so 0.85 should be fine.

  • Bluetooth adapters for ipods

Does anyone know of any bluetooth adapters that can be used with ipods? I have a shuffle and an older 40G model. I wear hearing aids and the new one I just got has a way to use bluetooth technology instead of headphones to listen to things... cell phones, MP3 players and other devices hands free/headphone free . Right now I have to use different headphones when listening to the ipod, since in the ear don't work when you already have something in the ear.... I'm guessing I need to use some sort of adapter in order to make the ipod work with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing this something that someone needs to create? It would be a great help to those of us who wear hearing aids.
Thanks for any help you can offer?

radioshack has a bluetooth adapter for ipods. its $79 it plugs into the dock of the ipod. i dont think they have one for the shuffle though.
