Bluetooth call log not synced

Hi, I have an Experia Z and a Bluetooth Radio (Pioneer AVH-X3500DAB) and while Bluetooth works well for receiving and making calls they do not show in the call log on the radio. Using a different phone there is no problem, so it must be the phone somehow, any ideas appreciated, Thanks, Martin.

Your BT device probably use some Bluetooth profile to gain the call log information which the Xperia Z doesn't support. Perhaps you can check the with the manufacturer of your BT device and then compare if the profile they use for this is supported by the phone.
All supported BT profiles are listed in the phone white paper.

  • Call log not saving call duration after 5800 v30 u...

    Hey all,
Before updating my 5800 to v30, I remember that in the call log I could get details about any particular stored call, and it would show me how long the call was.  But after the update, this is no longer there!  Am I going crazy, and that ability was *never* there (and I just imagined it), or has this really been taken away with v30? Or is there a setting that I'm just missing somewhere.?
Note that I'm not talking about showing call durations DURING a call ... that's still available. I'm just talking about storing a call's duration in its call log entry.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

Hehe oh right, now I remember.  It's in the second tab (i guess it's the detailed log tab) in the call log app.  I'll just tell myself to do a search before posting.  Google is your friend, Ravi!

  • Call Log not functioning properly

I recently updated my phone software to 210.21.006 and my hardware is Nokia E71-1.
Have observed problems with the call log after that. Behaves erratically like not recording any calls (missed, dialled or received) inspite of 20 calls per category not being filled.
Very disturbing when I can see the missed call notification on the home screen but not able to see the callers.
    Please help

My skype call forwarding doesn't work for last couple weeks too.
It doesn't forward calls when I'm online nor offline.

  • C2 Call Log

Have Nokia fixed the issue regarding the call logs not being cleared correctly, ie entries getting left behind yet when you try to delect get the message invalid selection. I note on the discussion forums this have been reported for the C3 model..but can't find anywhere if it has been fixed and if so how etc.

    hi mate,
have you checked via Nokia Suite on your PC if there are any firmware updates for your device? if there are any, please update to the latest version offered. failing that, you can try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite, if that doesn't work either, then try Restoring your phone to factory settings.
Failing the abnove, you will need to take your phone to Nokia Care for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

  • Call Log Problems and Questions

I've owned this phone since late June, 2011 and overall like it.  I came from a BB with "real" keys, but have been pleased with eth learning curve for the swype keyboard (except it's insistence on some nonsense words).
The real issue I'm facing: The Call Log
First off, it's painfully slow when compared to my old BB.  If I want to call a recent contact I click over to the log, but have to first WAIT for the phone app to start, and then WAIT for the log to come up, then painfully WAIT to scroll, and then WAIT for that call to load the WAIT to FINALLY get a "Call" button.  Why in the world is this fairly "native" app so frikkin slow.  This is, after all, a phone.
Second: Why is the call log not threaded?  I haven’t had an unthreaded call log in about 10 years.  My wife calls a lot, but I should have 15 line items of her before the next distinct caller.  When will this be fixed?  Seems a major flaw
Third, why can't I choose which phone screen comes up first when i click "Phone" from the immovable home screen buttons?  How often are users dialing numbers that are A-not in their call log or B-not a contact?  Speaking of Contacts:
Fourth: Why is the contact search SO slow?  I typed my last name in (so it should be finding only my family - maybe 10 contacts) and it took 8 seconds.  Again, comparing to the BB, which had a list ready (from the exact same list of contacts) with every keystroke.
So, four problems.  May I please have four answers?
Now one for which I can foresee the answer:
How can I get rid of all the bloatware on the phone?  I don’t want:
    AllShare
    Amazon Kindle
    V Apps
    Backup asst.
    Bitbop
    Blockbuster
    Guided Tour
    IM
    Latitude
    Lets Golf
    Media Hub
    Rhapsody
    Navigation
    Places
    Rock Band
    Slacker
    Tune Wiki
    VCast
    VZ Navigator
Nice job filling my new $300 phone with $0.02 crap

I cannot answer your questions with what I consider an effective answer.  With that said are you aware that you can create groups in your contact list.  The is easiest done on the computer from the Google Voice app.  I have a group for my family, wife's family, coworkers, friends, doctors, restaurants, etc.  It is much easier to find someone in a small group.  I also have direct dial shortcuts on one of my home screens.  I have one home screen dedicated to direct dial shortcuts.  For those that I call all the time like my wife and home you touch the icon and it dials immediately.  To do this long tap an open space on a home screen, click on shortcut, click on direct dial or direct message for quick texting.  You can also have a direct shortcut to the actual contact if you frequently need to access the contact information.
I hope this at least helps you enjoy the phone a little better if you were not aware of these features.  And yes, I wish the bloatware would go away.
BTW the 4 buttons at the bottom (not the hard buttons) are movable.  You have to long press them to change them out.

  • Incorrect durations in call logs

My wife has the Blackberry Curve 8520 . her Call logs are showing calls from her Boss for unusually long call durations , She says this is a fault in the BB but I am suspecting that she does not want to explain why in a 3 hour shift at work her boss feels the need to call and chat for sometimes 45 min, 40 min and even sometimes an hour at a time on frequent levels . tihs is happenning frequently so has anyone using this phone had the same problem (imean with call logs, not the missus lyeing lol) can someone put my mind at ease.. is this possible or am i paranoid,

For every silly Lumia problems there is an app, or an update or an app/update that is yet to come. I think that if Lumia was to be released this way only, Microsoft should have released blank phones with option to download and install all things by the way of app or update. Atleast the brand value would not had come down and people would have suffered very less.
Also it is a smart initiative my Microsoft to market apps.
Sell old and silly stuff in new wrapper in the name of IGNORANCE what it had named as "LUMIA".
This is how iPhone and Android started out and pretty much every other mobile OS. Eventually they all evolve and grow through firmware updates and applications being added to their respective app stores.
What else was you expecting from a brand new OS that is barely seven months old?

  • My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calles does not work.  It looks like it is working but doesn't.  I have tried in my Hyundai and a Dodge rent car and get the same results.  I updated the last 8.0.2.

My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work.  It looks like it is working but doesn't.  I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results.  I updated the last 8.0.2.  It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call.  This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE!  After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!
    Hope this helps!

Has your carrier been having issues with Call Display? Do the telephone numbers come up when people call, or does it just show 'Unknown Number' or 'Blocked' ?

  • IPhone 6, Prius, Bluetooth Calling -- Not Working

I got the iPhone 6 (AT&T). I was able to pair the phone with my Prius (2013 - Plugin Hybrid), and I am able to play audio via Bluetooth, but Bluetooth calling doesn't seem to work.
If I try to make a call from the phone, I get no audio (the car display doesn't even show a call is in progress).
If I try to make a call from the car display interface, I hear ringing and the pick up, and then no audio. The display interface shows call is no longer in progress, even though the call is still connected.
If I try to make a call from the car voice interface, I get "No Network Signal"
I had iOS 8 on my iPhone 5S, and had no problem.
I've tried deleting the pairing and re-pairing. I've also tried resetting all the settings and network settings.
Thoughts? Or is this just a bug or unintended feature?
    Thanks.

I have a similar problem.  I had an iPhone 5 (running IOS 8.1) and had absolutely NO problems with it's bluetooth - would pair with anything easily.  I recently bought the iPhone 6, and had no problems with it, until it came time to pair it to all my bluetooth devices.  It paired OK to my headset (Plantronics Legend), but at random times, for no reason it disconnects from it.  It paired OK with the UConnect in my Dodge truck, but it absolutely WILL NOT pair with the J&M bluetooth module on my motorcycle.  Had NO problems what ever with the iPhone 5 running IOS 8 with bluetooth pairing to anything - worked flawlessly.  What the heck did they do to the bluetooth in the iPhone 6 to make it so crappy? From all the posts in this and other forums, I see I'm not alone with this problem - FIX IT SOON APPLE!

  • Caller id not working after syncing my iphone to my pc?

caller id not working after syncing my iphone to my pc?

Syncing with iTunes has nothing to do with this, especially when not syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer which very few Windows users seem to be inclined to do.
Caller ID is not working in which way?
