Bluetooth connection to Audi A4 still drops after 2 months of trying everyt

I have a 2007 Audi A4 and paired my iPhone to it. The Phonebook transfered over and it works for the most part. However 9 times out of 10 the Bluetooth connection drops about 5 minutes into driving. It then picks up the connection a minute or so later. I do have it connected to a charger (which reduced the problem a bit).
I really don't want to buy a Bluetooth headset since I already have what is a perfectly working (and expensive) car system that paired fine with 2 other phones (Sony Ericsson T616, Motorola SLVR).
I'm becoming increasing frustrated, especially after a near accident when I had to pick up the handset and lower the stereo during a recent dropped Bluetooth connection.
The iPhone is brilliant, but this dangerous glitch is a deal breaker for me. I'm now seriously considering a Blackberry instead.
I tried everything over the past 2+ months including:
- Bought and used 2 different iPhone car adapters
- Installed all iPhone updates
- Turned off auto locking
- Kept the iPhone on the Phone screens (Contacts, Recents, etc.)
- Turned off WiFi
- Disabled Bluetooth until just before pairing
- Restarted my iPhone prior to pairing
- Restored my iPhone prior to pairing
- Factory reset prior to pairing
Interestingly the pairing worked for the first day after each of the past 2 iPhone updates, but the problem came back on day 2. That's why I performed restores and resets (which didn't work).
Any thoughts?

I have a 2006 A8 and had similar problems until I loaded the last iPhone update; Bluetooth is now rock-solid. Check with your dealer and make sure your car has the latest Audi updates. On my car, Bluetooth settings have a delay setting. Make sure that is turned on.

After uptdating my iPhone 4 with software 5.0.1, I have problems with my bluetooth connection in my car (2006 Audi MMI). When I make a call or someone calls me, after a minute or so, the connection is lost for 10- 15 seconds, and then reconnects again. Pretty annoying.
Someone got a solution?

I got the exact same problem. Noticed in the morning while hoping to check out the extra features.
Taking my lunch break now to research solutions...

Iphone 3GS with bluetooth connection with Audi car kit

I connected my iphone 3GS to my Audi car system through bluetooth connection. The Audi system recognizes the iphone and his address phone and all works well.
The issue comes when I disconnect the iphone from the car kit. After, even someone calls me, the call ringtone rings only two times and after switches off during the incoming call. This issue is random, sometimes the alarm rings well, sometimes not by working in the way described above. Someone has the same issue and knows how solve it? Is an issue linked to hw or only sw?

Can I check with you if you have this problem..
I assume you have paired the iPhone 3GS to the Audi carkit.
First, play something on the iPod.
Then go to the Bluetooth settings page where you can see all the paired devices.
after that, make a connection to the carkit.
Is there any stuttering or audio breaking you hear from the carkit?
I have this problem with my iTech BluebandR headset and iSkin Cerulean RX. I only found this problem with iPhone 3GS but it worked fine with 3G.

It didn't happen to everyone else so it's not the website. Your broadband was working so it's not your broadband. Which rather suggests that it's something to do with your equipment. Have you or your brother got a laptop to see how it goes on the other's line?

We saw the problems on the first premier league game, where some users were able to watch it fine but some were kicked out and couldn't get back in. That was admitted by BT to be a problem their end yet it didn't affect all users.
I find it can vary, even though i am using the same equipment. Sometimes it is fine and others it is awful.
Some recent events were unwatchable due to the audio flicking 2 minutes forwards and backwards. That was reported by lots of people but didn't affect everyone.
Personally, I think the huge demand is inevitably causing problems.

N86 & bluetooth connection to Audi Car

I can successfully connect n86 to car and use phone to talk etc. However, when n86 connected to car bluetooth, I loose nokia maps voice instructions. Is there a way to have phone connected to car and be able to hear maps navigational voice through car bluetooth as well?

TS1398 Our work connection to WPA-Enterprise now drops after about 5 minutes.

The wifi now has to be constantly reconnected. This only started happening after the IOS 6 update. Is nobody else experiencing this?

It turned out the problem apparently was that Apple dropped support for TKIP encryption. My problem was just with WPA\WPA2 Enterprise authentication. By replacing TKIP with AES the problem went away. I don't know if this was an undocumented change but a lot of users have been effected.

Yesterday my track pad went haywire. My pointer was all over the place and my screen would not stay still. After shutting down and trying time capsule I still had the problem. Today it's as if nothing ever happened

What causes the trackpad and screen become jittery and hard to control. There were no sticky buttons and no visible reason for the malfunction. I tried resetting with time capsule and shutting down with no progress. Later I booted to Windows to see if it could be hardware but my pad worked okay there. WOW. Today I open Mavericks and everything is fine. Anyone might know of a cause?

Tax refund still missing after 2 months...

Hello, I bought my Ipad2 at the Opera apple Store in Paris over 2 months ago. I filled out the TVA refund form at the ADG airport, but have yet to receive my refund. I cannot access the store since the Apple french website is in French ( obviously)
Can someone help me with a way to contact the store to check this?

Yes, as you used Global Blue that would be the case: you can opt to receive the refund in cash. Any other methods like a cheque or a credit card refund take more time.

After 26 months of TRYING to load Sun 10 = delete SUN? help please

I downloaded the 5 files of "Sun 10", 26 months ago and so far, after many dozens of different try's, I have yet to get this OS working.
I've redownloaded in case it was a bad file. __NOT
Properly unzip't and I've burned well over a couple dozen ISO's disks & made sure that were in the proper file system, i QUANTUMed RECHECKed this, __NOT
I have at my disposal 3 PCs, 2 desktops 1 laptop all the same OS, Windows XP, NOT... BUT WAIT! It wants to load on the laptop, it starts, it gets to (i can only guess) 3/4 done & reboots. MAYBE this time, __NOT
OK, I downloaded a basic Linux OS. It installs NO PROBLEM. While I'm at it I'll retry loading "Sun 10" thinking the hard drive is formatted for non-Windows... __NOT (aww cheeeze)
Now what to try/look for... I downloaded other Sun software (see below) and burned to CD and DVD. __ NOT (YeeeGads)
I have 3 different HDD's. Laptop-Western Digital, desktops I have, 3 different Maxtors 40-120-320gb, and other desktop a WD 30gb.
My question: What is the reason for making software that JUST does not load?
I'm 99% convinced this is "unable to load" is the major reason Sun is not on more PC desktops.
Got any ideas? Is there any SPECIAL bootfloppy(s)?

As you can see I did try both versions, SPARC & x86.
First, I'm not a PC guru, just your ordinary PC buyer/user who understands little about it's inner workings in reguards to software. Basicly my system really should not make a difference in reguards to "Bits & Bytes". In my view, as is the majority of the general public, the software should make adjustments to the PC's inner workings when loading.
Sun Hardware Compatibility List? With this in mind it's probably the greatest reason people want Windows. So far, as do I, Windows works Solaris won't. As far as I know all my PC's are generic desktops and laptop. Basicly if Windows can install, so should any other OS designed for desktops.
It's ludicris to think we, the general public, have to learn "Command Prompts" to load any OS. It's not the dark ages of pre-1984 anymore.
So anyways, I'm currently downloading "osol-0811.iso". From my past experiance I have little hopes it'll install... BUT try I will.

Issue with Iphone 6 iOS 8.1.1 - Bluetooth Connectivity

Bluetooth connection in Honda CRV continously drops and is not consistent.
Any resolution to fix this issue?

I have the same issue with my iPhone 6 & 2012 Civic. Prior to iOS 8.1.1 the bluetooth always worked flawlessly, even with my iPhone 3G and 4S. Worked fine with my iPhone 6 until the 8.1.1 update. Removing and re-establishing the connection has not helped.
Apple, please please please:
Issue a patch ASAP fixing this and other bluetooth issues. This issue IS IMPACTING MY BUSINESS. I rely on the bluetooth capability of my iPhone to conduct business while in the car during my ~120min of commuting each day.
Provide the ability to roll-back to a previous version after an update. I understand the desire to tout the adoption rates of new iOS releases. But that is sure to begin declining as more people upgrade only to encounter issues that did not exist previously.

ASA5510 video conferencing drops after 13min

I am trying to establish video conferencing from outside to inside on a polycom device which is behind ASA5510, but when I try to establish the video conference from outside it drops after 13min. I tried this with a router and it works fine so it must be ASA.
I tried capturing the traffic and when the connection drops I get these messages

After working fine for several months, my iPhone 5 has started dropping bluetooth connectivity for 2 to 5 seconds at a time with my Sony MDR-1RBT headphones. The headphones work fine with other devices. I haven't moved to ios7 yet. Any ideas?

What user troubleshooting have you done on the phone? The steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Understand that a restore will put the latest iOS on your device. It is also possible there is a hardware fault on the device and the Bluetooth is failing. Anything is possible given the scenario you describe.
And as far as iOS 7.x is concerned, we have 5 different iPhones here at home, all with the latest iOS, a 4, 4s, 5c, and 2-5s and all are working just fine. So, a blanket statement such as the one provided by the other poster is not completely true. Others are not having any issues at all either.

Wifi performance drops after connecting dualshock 3 via bluetooth

As the title says, when i sync my dualshock 3 control via bluetooth to my sgp321, wifi performance drops from 50 mbps to 8 mbps or less....
I've tried all the common "solutions" given, from pccompanion restoring to put the router in the fridge with a potato nailed on the wifi antenna during a week, starting on Halloweens night...
Could i have a sony expertise answering about this issue???

Could it be that you have your WiFi and Bluetooth in same frequency band? Any chance you can try WiFi on the 802.11n band? or try changing channels of your WiFi router? I don't think you can change your Bluetooth. Frequencies... I believe WiFi on "n" operates at 5 ghz as opposed to bluetooth operating in 2.4 ghz band... that way less chance of interference
