Bluetooth dialogue box comes up upon booting computer

Hello,
Upon booting my computer, G5 Quad core 2.5 with Tiger, I get this bluetooth dialog box saying that it is searching for a bluetooth mouse. I can't click on anything. I do know that if I could click on something that I would go into preferences and deselect bluetooth devices, right? How do I get around this without contantly turning off the computer and rebooting?

The PowerMac doesn't see your USB mouse, so it's looking for a bluetooth one. Do you have a regular mouse plugged in? If so, where?
Is this a problem that goes away with a restart, or are you stuck at this screen everytime?
1) Check the mouse, mouse cable and reconnect the mouse. Any better?
2) Plug the mouse into a different port
3) Plug both mouse and keyboard into rear ports on the PowerMac. Occasionally a front-panel board will fail.
4) Reset the system management unit, which controls perhipeheral ports, power, and fans: see "How to reset the SMU on a Power Mac G5" at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300341

I had the same problem. It turned out the issue for me was that I had Automatic downloads turned off on my devices!
see below how to turn it on.
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

Computer freezes when dialogue box comes up

For example, when I went to Tools/Clear history, and dialogue box came up asking for time frame. I cannot x out, cancel, minimize or choose an option. I have to ctrl/alt/del. Happens for every dialogue box I get on internet as well.

Import Pictures dialogue box no longer appears on computer screen

When I connect my Canon camera to my computer via a USB cable, the computer makes a sound and then a dialogue box has always appeared on screen that says "Import Pictures and Videos" but today although there is still a sound the diaglogue box no longer appears. I can access it by going through several steps - clicking on my computer, the device, open, etc. but that is much less convenient.
I checked that autoplay is functioning and the import settigns have not been changed. How can I get this feature back again?

Rescue program comes up upon booting

When I boot up my computer, the Rescue program comes up......What is wrong? What do I do?

Not sure what the Rescue program is but to stop things launching at startup go to System Preferences>Accounts and click on the Login items tab, highlight the offending app and then click on the 'minus' key to stop it launching at boot-up.

I have one song from an album that I bought at itunes that won't play. Instead a dialog box comes up saying this computer is not authorized. When I put in my apple id and password, it says this computer is already authorized. How do I get this fixed?

This album is American Idol Top 4 Season 12 - the song that brings up the dialog box is Emotion by Candice Glover.
Is there a way to redown load the album with out repaying? Is that the best fix??

Delete the problem track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:

That fixes the problem for many people. If problems with the track persist, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Updating an app dialogue box comes up with you are currently in the UK store you need to change to the Australian store .I don't know how to do that.

How to get around this problem.

Change to Australian App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3.Tap "View Apple ID"
4. Enter your user name and password.
5. Tap "Country/Region."
6. Tap "Change Country/Region"
7. Select the region where you are located.
8. Tap "Done".

Safari dialogue boxes freeze computer

In the last week, whenever I have responded to a dialogue box from Safari, the whole computer freezes as the box moves up to disappear. This is especially irritating, because I can no longer save new bookmarks, since the program doesn't remember them after restart. What might be the cause of this, and how can I fix it? I haven't downloaded any software other than the regular software updates I receive alerts for.

Does the computer have this problem in a test account? If you do not have one already go to:
System preferences /Accounts/Login Options, use the [+] to add one,
Log out of your user name account and into Test, run Safari do the same actions as in your user name account.

Disable sign in dialogue box

I just updated Itunes to 10.7 and now, whenever it starts a dialogue box pops up asking me to sign in for automatic
downloads. I don't want automatic downloads happening on this computer and the dialogue box is annoying to have to
'Cancel' twice in order for it to go away. How do I disable this feature/bug in the software?

I found out what your problem is. I recreated the problem myself. Don't reset Safari or go to Safari > preferences and delete website date or cookies. When that dialogue box comes up you either resetted Safari or clicked on remove website data and cookies. iTunes needs that cookie to remember that your signed it and if you don't delete any cookies, clear website date or reset Safari the box will no longer show up.
Resetting Safari also affects iTunes. If you want to use the automatic downloads feature you have to stay signed in on all devices for automatic downloads to transfer from one device to the other.
If your in the habit of deleting website data like I was you may just want to temporarily disable cookies by going to Safari > Private Browsing and turn it on.

Windows 7 "Save As" hangs in the common dialogue box

All attempts to Save As hang when the common dialogue box comes up.
This hanging occurs with all the Office 2013 programs, custom applications, the lot.
It hangs before I get a chance to key in anything.
All Windows Updates done, Registry Booster says the registry is error free, Microsoft Security Essentials detects nothing, etc, etc.
I have tried several of the suggestions available from the Internet, none of them fix the issue.
From this Forum I see that this has been a problem in the past.
How can I pin down what is actually going wrong please!

This issue can be caused by network locations or printer configuration in your Office.

If the issue still persists, please help to collect the event log and app crash dump file and upload here for further research.
First enable app crash dump collection by copying following words into notepad, saving it as dump.reg and importing it:

Printing mulitple tabs without getting Page Setup & Print dialogue boxes

I am using Forms 6.0.5.2. I have a form with 7 tabs and I need to be able to have a Print All button that prints a screen image of each tab. I have tried programming a trigger that executes a GO_BLOCK('a'); print; GO_BLOCK('b'); print; etc etc. While this will work, it is not user friendly as it prompts the user with the "Print" dialogue box (to select which printer to print to) and then the "Print Capture beginning. Don't move or occlude window until done" diaglogue box every time the print command is executed. Is anyone aware of a way to have these dialogue boxes come up only the first time the print command is issued and to be suppressed afterwards?

It's relatively easy to setup a series of questions and capture the results via display dialog, for example:
set bleedVal to text returned of (display dialog "Enter the required bleed:" default answer "0" buttons {"OK"} default button 1)
set bleed to bleedVal
You can even do fancy things like:
set orientationVal to button returned of (display dialog "Enter the required bleed:" buttons {"Landscape", "Portrait"} default button "Portrait")
set orientation to orientationVal
or:
set paperSize to (choose from list {"A3", "A4", "B3", "B4"} with prompt "choose a paper size" default items "A3") as text
set paper size to paperSize
Note that you may want to perform some input validation on the value entered to make sure that users don't enter inappropriate values such as "0" for the enlargement/reduction ratio, or "none" for bleed values, etc.

I can not download doc forms. Nor do I get a dialogue box giving options.

When I click on a doc form to open/download I get an error message saying the associated helper is not located, go and set in preferences. No options dialogue box comes up. Nor can I find any way to create the association manually.
This was not a problem before this latest update.
The same problem is occurring in the latest Thunderbird update.

I was lucky enough to get someone from India who knew to tell me to downloads the CC desktop installer although it doesn't have desktop in the wording. Where 3 others before him gave up and virtually acted as if the connection was lost and they were gone one even looked at the problem and wouldn't work on it.
Another Iwish I could remember his name, not an American, listened walked me through uninstalling acrobat for windows and took me at my word that there is a download, actually 2 on the down load page, 11.3or 03 the newest one and helped me install it. Now i don't have the problem however he seemed to think all creative cloud programs were universal and would work on any platform. I don't think he knew that unless I bought microsoft Office for mac
I was not going to save or download into a word file. He was alot of help however when others didn't know a MAC from a Window.

Langauge in dialogue boxes

Here's a weird one. If I try to order a book in aperture the dialogue boxes come up in a language that looks like Danish to me.. An example
"Du skrive din Apple-id og adgangskode....."
Any clues as to how to fix this?

Got the right file this time but there was no change after the re-start.
It is something to do with the system but its really odd. If for example I open Safari the address bar shows http://www.yahoo.com in English. But in Firefox it is in an Asain looking font.
However, if I copy and paste what I see in Firefox into Word or Safari it appears in English.
But if I do the same in AppleWorks then it pastes in the Asian looking font. I'm totally perplexed.
