Bluetooth disconnect issue

I bought a new bluetooth headset and find that it will disconnect the call from the headset back to the iphone.  I have to tap the bluetooth again to reconnect.  Anyone else experiencing this.

I'm not, but thanks for asking.

  • N80 bluetooth disconnecting issue

I am unable to use my bluetooth gps with N80. It disconnects the bt connection about once in 5 minutes.
I've read some forums and it seems that others are also experiencing similar bug in N80 (bt headsets and gps's)
    My firmware is 3.0617.0.6
I'm using Navicore software and disconnecting happens both with location api and direct bluetooth connections. This (using location api) makes me believe, it is operating system issue and not Navicore.
I'm waiting for an upgraded firmware. When will it be released and is this bug known/fixed?

Hi there, I had problems with the bluetooth too. I have the same firmware as you and was having problems with a headset. I took it to Phoneland and although there is no new firmware at the moment there is a service upgrade (Bluetoothe, Wi-Fi etc)which fixed the problem with the headset. Maybe you need to get yours done too. Just tell them your having trouble with bluetooth and they will have a look. It's free too as long as it's still under warranty. Hope this helps.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?
Life's too important to take seriously.
    Nokias I've owned 3210, 3310, 6100, 7650, 6600, 6680, 6630, N80, N95
    I'm a 26 year old boy BTW

  • Thinkpad Twist Bluetooth Disconnect Issue Solved

Initially tried a Dell BT Travel and within a few minutes of activity it would disconnect. Tried an old Logitech MX900, an Apple BT mouse and keyboard with the same result..........this is what seems to have fixed it.
Device Manager/Bluetooth/Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0/Power Management/uncheck "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"

    Didn't work for me-
I am just trying to use Lenovo Twist with ba Lenovo N700 Presenter Mouse-  like it when it works-  hate it when it stops....
If I go to stupid Windows 8 or 8.1 settings, devices, show or add bluetooth...it reconnects while that screen is up-  can't even leave that screen up because its a 'modern/metro app' (defined by the letters, BS) . Even though 8.1 now lets you minimize it,  it does not 'stay' on the BT screen minimized-  it comes back up in main settings screen next time and have to go to BT devices again-  Not sure if this is Lenovo or MS problem-  but I bought both of these through Lenovo and not happy.

  • MACbook Pro/Bluetooth?Disconnect issues with an Apple mouse and keyboard

    Well Folks-
The disconnect issue I have with my Macbook Pro using a wireless Apple Keyboard and mouse is BACK.    I wiped the hard drive clean and I reinstalled and I updated the O.S. system including purchasiing Lion via the ineternet one by one and the disconnect issue has retuned on Day 4.    What else is there left to do?   Anyone?

    Hi....
Might be corrupted Bluetooth preferences (.plist)
    Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
See if that helped. You may need to re, "pair" your devices and the Mac OS X will re geneate a new .plist file for you.
Make sure the batteries are fresh also.

  • Bluetooth disconnecting on Samsung Stratosphere?

    Hello all!
I have a Samsung Stratosphere, and I use a Plantronics Voyager Pro + Bluetooth headset with it.  I have been having trouble with the phone not connecting to the headset if it has been idle for a while, and I have even had the Bluetooth disconnect in the middle of a call.  It will NOT re-establish the Bluetooth connection unless I totally restart the phone--something I obviously don't want to do in the middle of a call.
Has anyone else had this issue?  Any suggestions for me?
    I'd appreciate any help!
    Thanks!
    Steve

    Hi SouthParkSteve,
I feel your pain; I use my phone all day and I depend on my Bluetooth headset for hours. I can just imagine the inconvenience of having to power off and on to reestablish connection constantly. I checked my resources and I learned that the Samsung Stratosphere is not listed as a fully compatible device for the Plantronics Voyager Pro+ and while most Bluetooth devices will have some connectivity for using the same Bluetooth technology, please note that connectivity is not guaranteed for device not listed as fully compatible. Please confirm this compatibility information at this LINK as the only Samsung mobile devices fully compatible with your headset on our network are the Omnia II & Continuum as per the Plantronics website.
To avoid compatibility issues in the future and be able to take full advantage of your devices' Bluetooth features going forward I recommend confirming compatibility of your devices before purchasing.

  • Bluetooth Mouse Issues

Anybody having bluetooth connectivity issues after devices are paired? Periodically, my mouse stops working and I have to turn it off and back on for it to reconnect. Mouse doesn't do this when paired with my old Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop.-bp

Hi All, I have been experiencing this random disconnect problem as well.  Sometimes it came good and then sometimes I had to remove and reinstall the same as everyone else.
My problem is with a Logitech V470 mouse.  <o:p></o:p>
Recently the symptoms changed and it became a permanent device instead of a bluetooth connected device. <o:p></o:p>
Furthermore, it couldn't be removed at all.  The only way to remove it was to uninstall all of the Bluetooth module drivers.  When the system rebooted,
it again loaded as a permanent device along with printers.  Please note I'm talking about it being fully connected but not functioning whether it was turned on or off (present or not present).  I wondered what had changed this time to make this significant
change in behaviour.  Okay time to roll-back updates and go to a previous restore point/s.  Guess what, problem solved!  I had to go back two restore points to fix the problem.  What was it, it was a JAVASCRIPT auto update!<o:p></o:p>
Once I past (rolled back) the most recent Javascript update the mouse returned to a bluetooth connected device and I could disconnect and reconnect.  Javascript
changed the way this device was being recognised and connected.
JAVASCRIPT is underlying all of these problems of connection.  Roll it back and suddenly you'll have control again!  Hopefully Oracle will soon fix
this, until then, I'm disabling updates of JAVA.<o:p></o:p>

  • Bluetooth disconnects randomly from Thunderbolt

Is anyone experiencing trouble keeping their bluetooth paired with the thunderbolt? My headset will disconnect without warning and with no cause- I have not moved or opened a new app.

After researching this issue I was unable to locate issues reported to Verizon Wireless regarding the bluetooth disconnecting. The issue may be with the actual bluetooth and not your handset. You can ensure your Bluetooth settings are correct using the directions below. If you continue to have issues, we can speak with you to trouble-shoot your equipment and bluetooth.
From the Home screen, select the applications tab (lower-left corner).
    Select Settings.
    Select Wireless & networks.
    Select Bluetooth settings.
    Select Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is enabled if a green check mark is present.

  • My car bluetooth disconnects when answering a call.

My car bluetooth disconnects when answering a call?

So does mine - but keeps the call going so then have to risk picking up the phone and putting it on speaker - although friends android phone works perfectly - i'm fed up - i have an iphone 5 and i would expect that with paying 600 for a phone and using it in a 40k car - there shouldn't be an issue, but no - my question is why weren't these things adressed before it was issued? - instead of being told ***** to be you  but that's just the way it is.  Is apple going to pay my fines $300 each for touching my phone while driving - aus law, and finally when i lose my licence because each fine is 3 points are they going to provide a chauffeur?.  Apple need to remember before the iphone they were very small indeed, and only big in the graphic art industry.  With Androids getting better and better there's now alternatives and the thing is i quit iphone, i quit the rest of the suite as well - ipads, itunes, apps, as well as mac books, and let's not forget ipods - which means i won't be updating any of those either.  I'll rather buy Samsung tablet and an android phone and then i'll buy android apps, and update android.  Apple need to remember customers vote with their feet, and IBM nearly went under because of it's own arrogance - could it be apple are going the same way?

  • 4s bluetooth connectivity issues

I've had my 4s for two weeks no. The longest bluetooth conversation i've had is about 2 min, every call has been dropped by the bluetooth headset or the phone. So i bought a jawbone icon, same problems. The icon (which speaks to you) says waiting for iphone to connect even though the bluetooth icon is lit on the phone. When bluetooth disconnects it usually keeps the call connected for another 10 sec or so, and it doesn't swtich to iphone or speaker when i push those options on the phone. Very random. Sometimes it will go back and to the phone, then back to the bluetooth, then dissconnect. Since this happens on both a plantronics and a jawbone headset i'm assuming the phone is defective or the software is not functioning. I'm taking this back to the store today for help. Is this happening to anyone else

I'm sad to report that I have the same issues between three to four times a day.  Before I got my iPhone 4S (first iPhone I've owned, btw) I used to have a Sony Ericsson C902 that I operated along with a bluetooth headset HBH-DS205 that used to work perfectly together.  Now, with the headset and the iPhone 4S I keep noticing that the connection breaks and all I can do to restore it is to turn the headset off and on every time.  I listen to music all day long on the headset and this issue can get to irritating levels.  Also sometimes I feel stupid as at work I'm one of the few 4S owners and, the iPhone being a state of the art device, my coworkers get to see me scrambling to figure out whether I need to bring the phone up to my ear or just one of the earpieces to my ear.  The headset also has a answer/hang-up button that as of late, for the same reason, I cannot know for sure will start or end a call.  I would hate to be forced to drop the headset as I really love it too.

  • Possible to disable "Bluetooth Disconnected" Alerts?

    Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone figured out a way to disable the "Bluetooth Disconnected" alerts on Snow Leopard (or any other iteration of OS X).
Here's what I'm trying to do:
    1. I setup a hot corner to turn off my display.
    2. I move my cursor to the desired corner--display turns off.
    3. I turn off my bluetooth keyboard and mouse. About 2 seconds later, I get a "Bluetooth Disconnected" alert, and my display is back on again.
Any suggestions for fixing this issue?

    Hello l:
    To my knowledge, no.

  • Bluetooth disconnect

I have a N95 and have problems with the bluetooth setup in my car. phone connects fine but will not auto disconnect. I have to go into settings and manualy turn bluetooth off otherwise cannot make or receive calls. Even when in car devise is switched off. pain when you forget PLEASE HELP
Message Edited by oldfella on 29-Aug-2008 11:28 PM

Thanks for the response angel but apparently this issue is a bug in Windows Phone software. I'm surprised there aren't more people complaining about it here on this forum.
I've been searching around the web and found quite a few discussions about the topic. It affects all Lumias from what I can tell, even HTC phones. When the bluetooth disconnects from Windows Phone it triggers the music player to start playing again even if it's been idle for a long time.
It's extremely annoying to have your phone start blaring music when it dicsonnects from random bluetooth devices. Doesn't seem like it should be the hardest thing in the world to fix, but this issue dates back over a year based on what I've found around the web. I can't believe the Windows Phone team hasn't put this on higher priority.

  • Bluetooth disconnects when using speed dial

When I make a call by dialing the number or taking it from my contacts, the bluetooth headset acts normally. When I dial a contact via speed dial, the bluetooth disconnects and I have to go into the menu and "activate headset" Any thoughts?? Thx

I have the exact same problem.  I have had the Pearl since it came out and never had an issue.  I just received the 8900 and I now have this issue which is more than annoying.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • How can i transfer contacts from my iPhone5 (6.1.2) to Benz C200 via bluetooth, as soon as i hit receive contacts, bluetooth disconnects.

I am unable to transfer my contacts from my iphone5 to Benz c200.
as soon as i press receive contacts Bluetooth disconnects, I can see from my iphone under bluetooth.
is it possible to do? if yes how?

The bluetooth system must support the PBAP bluetooth profile. If it does, transfer is automatic when the connection is made. If it does not, you can not transfer them. Check the manual for the system to see if it supports PBAP. If it does not, contact your dealer to see if an update is available.

  • Bluetooth disconnected on my iPhone but it will connect on my husbands.  I have been using this bluetooth for a year and now it won't reconnect

My bluetooth disconnected from my iphone 3.  I have been using it for months.  I checked the bluetooth and it connected on my husand's iphone4 but won't reconnect on my phone.

    Try doing this:
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Connections
Phone will reboot, you will have to enter your WiFi Passwords again - BUT should resolve the problem.

  • Wifi disconnect issue w new Mac

I bought a new Mac about a week ago.  Right away I started experiencing wifi disconnect issues.  I called customer support line and they had me reset the eprom.  I don't recall the key sequence now. The problem went away for a week but has now returned.  Is this a hardware quality issue?

right my friend, you know this is not an uncommon issue with mac, all my macs have the same issue (macbook, mac pro, mac mini and older imac), i disconnect the wifi and reconnect to sole the issue. it depends alot on what you have thats goign on around you, if there is a lot of wireless networks in your area then this might cause the issue. i improved this problem using a time machine and set the wireless to 5ghz only - it helped. i also bought an airport express to strengthen the network and touchwood this is a rare problem for me now!
try moving the modem around in case it this - ensure its not on the floor or touching the floor, there are many tips for improving modem connections look on youtube
however the sequence for this is on
