Bluetooth disconnecting

I have a Nokia 9300. When I connect it to my IBM Thinkpad via bluetooth, using the Nokia PC suite, it will disconect again after about a minute. Also I cannot get it to automatically reconnect. Has anybody got some advise please.

the system info in open Suite - Help - About would help here to pinpointthe problem

  • How can i transfer contacts from my iPhone5 (6.1.2) to Benz C200 via bluetooth, as soon as i hit receive contacts, bluetooth disconnects.

I am unable to transfer my contacts from my iphone5 to Benz c200.
as soon as i press receive contacts Bluetooth disconnects, I can see from my iphone under bluetooth.
is it possible to do? if yes how?

The bluetooth system must support the PBAP bluetooth profile. If it does, transfer is automatic when the connection is made. If it does not, you can not transfer them. Check the manual for the system to see if it supports PBAP. If it does not, contact your dealer to see if an update is available.

  • Bluetooth disconnected on my iPhone but it will connect on my husbands.  I have been using this bluetooth for a year and now it won't reconnect

My bluetooth disconnected from my iphone 3.  I have been using it for months.  I checked the bluetooth and it connected on my husand's iphone4 but won't reconnect on my phone.

    Try doing this:
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Connections
Phone will reboot, you will have to enter your WiFi Passwords again - BUT should resolve the problem.

  • Bluetooth disconnecting on Samsung Stratosphere?

    Hello all!
I have a Samsung Stratosphere, and I use a Plantronics Voyager Pro + Bluetooth headset with it.  I have been having trouble with the phone not connecting to the headset if it has been idle for a while, and I have even had the Bluetooth disconnect in the middle of a call.  It will NOT re-establish the Bluetooth connection unless I totally restart the phone--something I obviously don't want to do in the middle of a call.
Has anyone else had this issue?  Any suggestions for me?
    I'd appreciate any help!
    Thanks!
    Steve

    Hi SouthParkSteve,
I feel your pain; I use my phone all day and I depend on my Bluetooth headset for hours. I can just imagine the inconvenience of having to power off and on to reestablish connection constantly. I checked my resources and I learned that the Samsung Stratosphere is not listed as a fully compatible device for the Plantronics Voyager Pro+ and while most Bluetooth devices will have some connectivity for using the same Bluetooth technology, please note that connectivity is not guaranteed for device not listed as fully compatible. Please confirm this compatibility information at this LINK as the only Samsung mobile devices fully compatible with your headset on our network are the Omnia II & Continuum as per the Plantronics website.
To avoid compatibility issues in the future and be able to take full advantage of your devices' Bluetooth features going forward I recommend confirming compatibility of your devices before purchasing.

  • Bluetooth disconnects randomly from Thunderbolt

Is anyone experiencing trouble keeping their bluetooth paired with the thunderbolt? My headset will disconnect without warning and with no cause- I have not moved or opened a new app.

After researching this issue I was unable to locate issues reported to Verizon Wireless regarding the bluetooth disconnecting. The issue may be with the actual bluetooth and not your handset. You can ensure your Bluetooth settings are correct using the directions below. If you continue to have issues, we can speak with you to trouble-shoot your equipment and bluetooth.
From the Home screen, select the applications tab (lower-left corner).
    Select Settings.
    Select Wireless & networks.
    Select Bluetooth settings.
    Select Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is enabled if a green check mark is present.

  • My car bluetooth disconnects when answering a call.

My car bluetooth disconnects when answering a call?

So does mine - but keeps the call going so then have to risk picking up the phone and putting it on speaker - although friends android phone works perfectly - i'm fed up - i have an iphone 5 and i would expect that with paying 600 for a phone and using it in a 40k car - there shouldn't be an issue, but no - my question is why weren't these things adressed before it was issued? - instead of being told ***** to be you  but that's just the way it is.  Is apple going to pay my fines $300 each for touching my phone while driving - aus law, and finally when i lose my licence because each fine is 3 points are they going to provide a chauffeur?.  Apple need to remember before the iphone they were very small indeed, and only big in the graphic art industry.  With Androids getting better and better there's now alternatives and the thing is i quit iphone, i quit the rest of the suite as well - ipads, itunes, apps, as well as mac books, and let's not forget ipods - which means i won't be updating any of those either.  I'll rather buy Samsung tablet and an android phone and then i'll buy android apps, and update android.  Apple need to remember customers vote with their feet, and IBM nearly went under because of it's own arrogance - could it be apple are going the same way?

  • CK-7W Bluetooth disconnect beep

Whenever I turn the ignition off and the bluetooth disconnects a load beep is heard through the car speakers. It's very annoying. Even worse it's really loud.
Why the designers thought I needed to be told that the phone had disconnected when the ignition was turned off I really don't know. Of course it has!
I don't suppose that there is any way of stopping this? Unlikely though it is.
I'm using an Autoleads telemute which obviously still operates even with the ignition off. Does anyone know of a telemute lead that only operates when the ignition on - if the speakers do not get switched to the kit then the beep will not be heard.

Aah! Might be telling porky pies there.
I've actually wired my CK-7W so that it is totally diconnected when ignition goes off. I've wired the red wire to switched ignition and left the blue disconnected. Only disadvantage is that you can't use it when the ignition is off but the advantage is it gets rebooted every time I turn on the ignition. I was having probs with making voice tag calls when the phone is connected to the cradle ie not Bluetooth. Had to disconnect it every couple of days to get it working. Thought it was a bad connection but this seems to work.

  • Bluetooth disconnect during a call : iOS7 on 5S

Bluetooth disconnect during a call in my car (BMW 2013). It does this on a regular basis. I have to reconnect manually using the car menu to connect the phone. Is anyone experiencing the same ? Someone can help me ?

Yes, I did in fact update the BMW firmware to the latest, but that didn't solve the problem.
(Despite that, would recommend all BMW owners update their firmware: bmw.com/update)
Not sure why no problems with iPhone 5 running iOS 6, but big problems with iOS 7 on iPhone 5s.  Isn't Bluetooth just a standard that all device makers must adhere to?
I wonder if there is a difference in the Bluetooth stack in iOS 7 that BMW needs to update their firmware to support??
    Perplexed and frustrated!

  • Possible to disable "Bluetooth Disconnected" Alerts?

    Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone figured out a way to disable the "Bluetooth Disconnected" alerts on Snow Leopard (or any other iteration of OS X).
Here's what I'm trying to do:
    1. I setup a hot corner to turn off my display.
    2. I move my cursor to the desired corner--display turns off.
    3. I turn off my bluetooth keyboard and mouse. About 2 seconds later, I get a "Bluetooth Disconnected" alert, and my display is back on again.
Any suggestions for fixing this issue?

    Hello l:
    To my knowledge, no.

  • Bluetooth disconnect

I have a N95 and have problems with the bluetooth setup in my car. phone connects fine but will not auto disconnect. I have to go into settings and manualy turn bluetooth off otherwise cannot make or receive calls. Even when in car devise is switched off. pain when you forget PLEASE HELP
Message Edited by oldfella on 29-Aug-2008 11:28 PM

Thanks for the response angel but apparently this issue is a bug in Windows Phone software. I'm surprised there aren't more people complaining about it here on this forum.
I've been searching around the web and found quite a few discussions about the topic. It affects all Lumias from what I can tell, even HTC phones. When the bluetooth disconnects from Windows Phone it triggers the music player to start playing again even if it's been idle for a long time.
It's extremely annoying to have your phone start blaring music when it dicsonnects from random bluetooth devices. Doesn't seem like it should be the hardest thing in the world to fix, but this issue dates back over a year based on what I've found around the web. I can't believe the Windows Phone team hasn't put this on higher priority.

  • Bluetooth disconnects when using speed dial

When I make a call by dialing the number or taking it from my contacts, the bluetooth headset acts normally. When I dial a contact via speed dial, the bluetooth disconnects and I have to go into the menu and "activate headset" Any thoughts?? Thx

I have the exact same problem.  I have had the Pearl since it came out and never had an issue.  I just received the 8900 and I now have this issue which is more than annoying.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • E71 Bluetooth Disconnect

I recently purchased the E71 and have no complaints about it other than the continuous bluetooth disconnects at exactly 30 minute intervals. I have tried seven different bluetooth models to no avail. Does anyone know how to keep the phone from dropping bluetooth headsets after 30 minute intervals?

I've been having the same problem with my E71 - the handset attempts to reconnect a bluetooth connection every 10 seconds or so and asks my permission...
I've solved it and just did a bluetooth backup and Outlook sync via PC Suite quickly and flawlessly, for the first time.
    Go to:
    "Connectivity", then
    "Bluetooth", then
"Paired Devices", then, within "Paired Devices", hit "Options", then,
hit "Set as authorized". This is the magic setting...
As it says in the Manual, "To allow a paired device to connect automatically to your device, select Set as authorised. Connections between your device and the other device can be made without your knowledge. No separate acceptance or authorisation is needed. Use this status for your own devices, such as your compatible headset or computer, or devices that belong to someone you trust..."

  • Nokia Car Mode on N8 - Bluetooth disconnects when ...

After recently upgrading to Belle, I installed Nokia Car Mode because it is what I had been looking forward to the most. However it simply disconnects the Bluetooth connection to my car's audio system a few seconds (maybe 5 seconds) after I enter the Music module.
    Steps to recreate:
Start car (1999 BMW M3 running DICE Mediabridge 1500 connected to CD43 head-unit). Car's Bluetooth mode is on and car is discoverable.
Launch Nokia Car Mode on Nokia N8
Pair phone with car using the Bluetooth pairing button on the launch screen. Pairing is successful so continue by pressing the Start Car Mode button.
Press on the Music button to enter the Music module. Music attempts to start playing automatically. The display on the head-unit says "PLAYING", but no sound from the speakers and then the BT connection ends in about 5 seconds.
Thinking that perhaps my old BT pairing info might be saved/corrupted and not usable with the new Belle firmware, I performed a complete reset and re-installed Belle using a tool whose named I should not mention, but no luck even with a pristine build.
If I uninstall Car Mode from my phone, I can connect to my car and play music just fine. If you have navigation running simultaneously, the navigation prompts get routed through the car audio by virtue of the music player's streaming. However as soon as I re-install Car Mode, the same problem begins and remains until I uninstall it again. (If you don't uninstall Car Mode from your phone, it will launch itself automatically when it detects a BT connection with a car using the relevant BT profile.)
Here's another observation: During the 5 seconds that the phone has not yet disconnected, the Music Player's progress bar moves at a rate of about 1 second forward for every 5 seconds elapsed. So it is as if Car Mode introduces a performance issue to the playback.
So now I am living with the way things were in the Anna days: I can play music and navigation audio through my car just fine, but I really wish I had the extreme convenience that Nokia Car Mode provides (when it works as designed).
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I just installed Car Mode on my Belle-equipped N8. I have two serious complaints (not sure if this is the best place to post, but here goes
    a) (Really inconvenient!) My speed dials DONT WORK! If I press and hold "2" in regular mode, I speed-dial home. In Car Mode, I just see the "2" appear, and it keeps beeping the longer I hold it! There does not appear to be a way to use speed-dial in Car Mode, which is a #FAIL (in my opinion.) You ought to be able to somehow configure this.
    b) I love Internet Radio. When you select Music, you go right into the music player and can never select Internet Radio. You ought to be able to add other audio applications to the Music button.
    Thanks for listening!

  • IMac 27" late 2012 + new Apple TV 3: bluetooth disconnections

    Hello,
I have an iMac 27" late 2012 working perfectly with wireless keyboard, magic mouse, and wireless trackpad until two days ago, when I purchased the Apple TV.
Since then I have continous disconnections whith Mavericks. Mouse, Keyboard and Pad lost connection and a few seconds later reconnects.
Just this post is impossibly to write, but with patiente....
Just note that when working with Apple TV in standby, with white led off, I have no problems like ever.
If I push any remote button power on Apple TV then automatically Mavericks starts in infinite loop to disconnect (the 3) and connect again.
Then put in stand by Apple TV and then all thing go fine again.
Note that when working with W7 with Bootcamp no errors, no disconnections, anything... All OK.
By this reason I think that the issue is located in OSX Mavericks, not related to the new ecosystem with Apple TV.
Obviously anything isn't going right with Apple TV, but still thinking that it is working OK.
Any idea? how can I check error logs in Mavericks?
The iMac is under Applecare covering, and the Apple TV is new, 2 days old.
    Best regards.

    Thanks for your fast reply!!!
I think that I have found what was shutting down Bluetooth on iMac.
I installed 2 or 3 weeks ago NotifyR on iMac to get notifies when received in iPhone.
I have opened console at iMac and I have seen that continously was looking for devices and when found Apple TV, with Bluetooth panel opened I saw that shutted down.
First of all I have put in OFF NotifyR. All has become normal. No disconnections of anything and no shutdown in general of Bluetooth.
I have sure at 99,99% that this was the problem. I will have it in quarantine...
I will remove NotifyR waiting for new capabilities of Yosemite!.
Thanks again. I hope that if someone have the same combination will help him.

  • N80 bluetooth disconnecting issue

I am unable to use my bluetooth gps with N80. It disconnects the bt connection about once in 5 minutes.
I've read some forums and it seems that others are also experiencing similar bug in N80 (bt headsets and gps's)
    My firmware is 3.0617.0.6
I'm using Navicore software and disconnecting happens both with location api and direct bluetooth connections. This (using location api) makes me believe, it is operating system issue and not Navicore.
I'm waiting for an upgraded firmware. When will it be released and is this bug known/fixed?

Hi there, I had problems with the bluetooth too. I have the same firmware as you and was having problems with a headset. I took it to Phoneland and although there is no new firmware at the moment there is a service upgrade (Bluetoothe, Wi-Fi etc)which fixed the problem with the headset. Maybe you need to get yours done too. Just tell them your having trouble with bluetooth and they will have a look. It's free too as long as it's still under warranty. Hope this helps.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?
Life's too important to take seriously.
    Nokias I've owned 3210, 3310, 6100, 7650, 6600, 6680, 6630, N80, N95
    I'm a 26 year old boy BTW
