Who the hell is making lies? Stop assuming you know everything when you obviously know nothing. iPhone does not support bluetooth media transfer. It does have bluetooth but only for listening to music and making call.

Iphone supports bluetooth for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the app store, adn internet tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this it will not connect to another phone, computer ,device

  • Audi Bluetooth does NOT Work After Update 8.02 and neither my car charger

aAfter Update iOS 8.02 Bluetooth. Audi does NOT Work - Connection is ok bit cant talk with Connection
and also The car charter does NOT work

Hi Lars - I had the same issue - found the help on audi-sport.net - link:
    http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/iphone-6-not-functioning-correctly-when-con nect-to-mmi.227675/
see page 2 of the postings under veeeight's suggestion (7 steps).  Pasted from the forum.
    1. Rename your new iPhone
    2. Delete all Bluetooth phone pairings from the Audi MMI
    3. Reset All Settings
    4. Reset Network Settings
    5. Reset Network Settings again
    6. Connect to WiFi on your phone (optional)
    7. Do the pairing with the car again.
I was able to resolve this on my 2011 A4 with MMI.  That's after I have updated my iPhone 6 with 8.0.2
Hope this helps you and anyone else having the same issues.

  • Bluetooth does not work well after upgrade to win 8.1 from win 8

    System:                       Dell Inspiron 15R 5520
    Bluetooth hardware:   Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) 4.0 + High Speed Adapter
                                         Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
Ever since I upgraded from Win 8 to 8.1, the bluetooth has not been working well.
The option to browse a remote folder or send a file does not work.
I can send a file only by opening the contaning folder, right click, and send to bluetooth, but cannot receive a file unless I go to
run and then open fsquirt.exe .
I have unpaired and uninstalled the devices respectively, and then reinstalled and repaired them. But this does not work .either.
Unfortunately, I am unable to paste  screenshots of the device manager and error messages until I am verified.
Can anyone give me a solution to this problem?

Verify that you have the latest drivers for Windows 8.1 installed from the manufacturer's website.

  • Bluetooth does not work correctly with Siemens Tek Connect headphone device

I hopefully tried the new bluetooth support in OS 3.0, but it does not work with my Siemens Tek Connect headphone device. It syncs as expected, but no sound is heard. I can choose the Tek Connect in the music app and other programs, my headphone (actually my two hearing aids, which are connected wireless with ear to ear communications (e2e) via the Tek Connect necklace device) signals the connection to me (a beep), but nothing is heard. Codec problem?
    Andreas

I own Phonak hearing aids with their Bluetooth-capable iCom device which allows my aids to be used as a phone headset and also supports the A2DP stereo bluetooth profile. My iPod Touch 2Gen 32GB is able to play to my hearing aids properly.
One thing I noticed is that the iPod does not allow you to control the volume when using Bluetooth. It expects the headphones to be able to control the volume. Have you used your hearing aids as Bluetooth headphones on any other device? Maybe the device isn't programmed properly to set the volume while in headphones mode. I know my audiologist had to program the volume on each mode separately on my device.
My MacBook Pro is able to play music over Bluetooth to my hearing aids fine. But I have never gotten Windows to work properly sending audio to my hearing aids. Do you have a Mac with Bluetooth? Try to get that working to see if it's your hearing aid device that's causing the trouble or not.

Phone 4 home button does not work. I tried to put it off and on, but to no avail. Tried updating, still nothing.

No magic solutions for a hardware problem.  You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for replacement ($149), or find a 3rd party to fix your phone (which will forfeit all future support on that phone, warranty or otherwise, from Apple)

  • Iphone 6 and Ford Sync Bluetooth Does Not Work

Brand new iPhone 6 paired with My Ford Sync in a 2014 Escape.
Bad news, the bluetooth phone features simply do not work.  You can initiate a call form the Sync and the phone will dial and connect, but 5 seconds into the call the bluetooth disconnects the phone audio and returns you to your radio or whatever source you were listening to.
The call appears to remain active on the iPhone but you can't access it.
Sure hope Apple or Microsoft/Ford step up to fix this soon it is a real show stopper.
Nothing like in the field beta testing.

I had a similar problem with my 2011 Ford Fusion and brand new iPhone 6 received yesterday.  I restored my iPhone 5 to my new iPhone 6 when I received it.  My iPhone 6 has the same device name as the iPhone 5 did.  I was able to pair my iPhone 6 with Sync easily, but Sync would only ring on incoming calls.  I could not answer the incoming call or initiate calls through Sync.  I was able to correct the problem this morning by:
    1) Forgetting This Device (Sync) in the Bluetooth application in the iPhone 6,
    2) Deleting All Devices in the Sync Phone Bluetooth menu.
    3) Re-pairing the iPhone 6 with Sync.
Apparently the same phone name stored in Sync from the iPhone 5 was corrupting the settings for the iPhone 6 using the same device name.
I hope this helps.  Good luck!

  • X230 bluetooth does not work - unable to use cell phone as personal hotspot

I am trying to use the bluetooth in my X230 to pair my laptop with my cell phone. I want to be able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot, in case I am in an area with no secure wi-fi. I would have thought that this would be standard feature in a laptop that is touted as a business device, but apparently this is not the case.
I installed both the bluetooth driver and the latest system update, as suggested by Sarbin...
    http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&DocID=HT073834
    and
    http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS012808
... but it is still not working for me. I am now able to connect my cell phone to my X230, but instead of enabling me to access the internet via bluetooth, a dialogue box appears enabling me to play songs that are on my cell phone using the laptop speakers.
I am disappointed that the bluetooth driver did not come pre-installed on the x230, and I am disappointed that I am not able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot for my x230.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

There is a key step missing from the prior post, but is shown on the link.
After the steps described in the prior post (e.g., disabling all services on the Bluetooth device except NAP), go to <Control Panel<, <Devices and Printers>, right click on the Bluetooth device (e.g., iPhone) that you want to connect to for your internet hotspot access point, and then click on <Connect Using> and then <Access Point>.
Using this method, the Lenovo's Access Connections program does NOT control this internet connection, thus the icon in the system tray will show NO connection in the Lenovo wireless access icon (even though the computer is connected via the Bluetooth connection to the iPhone).
Disconnecting requires going back into Control Panel and disconnecting from the Access Point.
Kinda clunky in my opinion, but I could never get a connection to the internet via a Bluetooth/iPhone Hotspot combination using the Lenovo Access Connections software despite claims in that software's help section saying that such a connection was possible.  (The Lenovo Access Connections Help section even gives instructions to use tabs that don't exist in the software.)

  • Bluetooth Does not work

So I recently bought some Kinivo bluetooth headphones and installed the bluetooth adapter that came from the same company. My issue is that Skype will not allow bluetooth to be accessed. I found this by going to tools>options>advanced>advanced settings>manage other programs' access to skype.
When I see "Bluetooth Headset Helper.exe I can click change but it is permanently not allowed to use skype. I would like some straight foreward answers with information on how to solve this. I dont understand this API and other stuff so please make it simple so someone like me can understand I do have the ability to select my headphones/mic from the drop down box under general settings, however no sound will play from them nor will my mic function.
Any information is appreciated, thank you!
Also, the reason for being blocked is:
"We have blocked this program from using Skype. This is to protect your computer's security. Name : Bluetooth Headset Helper.exe. Publisher: Broadcom Corporation"
I cannot select allow because it is greyed out.

    Monkeekee wrote:
I tried ending the program and that did not work. Neither did removing it from the list under settings. Also, ending the program does not allow me to use my headphones at all.
EDIT: if I switch my microphone to anything BUT the bluetooth, the headphones will work and play sound. Once I select the bluetooth microphone the speakers go mute.
I have the same problem, and it is still occuring. Does anybody have a solution for this?
EDIT: I enabled the hands-free audio device and now it is working again! You must unmute it first, otherwise you'll still won't hear anything but now it works.

  • Bluetooth does not work properly on Tecra M9

I have a problem trying to use my Bluetooth on Toshiba Tecra
    M9 laptop.
When I go to Control Panel "Bluetooth Devices" does not show on the list. The only reference to Bluetooth is "Bluetooth Com".
If I double click on the Bluetooth icon in Systray I cannot open a Bluetooth device. I get a warning flag saying "Bluetooth is not Ready".
The problem is that I cannot turn "on" bluetooth on the laptop (even after turning on the Wi-Fi switch at the front of the laptop).
The "Bluetooth Devices" icon in Control panel is missing.
    Any Ideas
    Thanks in advance...

Install the latest Bluetooth stack and start "Bluetooth Settings" of the "Toshiba->Bluetooth" program folder.

I found the solution, the problem was the encoding of the configuration files.
