Bluetooth doesnt work since tiger to leopard.

hello everybody!
i am new at this forum, so i am apologizing, if its the wrong place to post my messenge!
but i got a problem with bluetooth, i cant send anything from my phone to my macbook.. before i had tiger and it worked fine, but now, with leopard it doesnt work.. i can send from my macbook to my phone,(not iphone) but not from phone to mac..
when i search at my phone for bluetooth, i can find my macbook, but when i try to send it says, "you cant connect to this macbook"..
i have tried many of type of phones. SE, NOKIA, SAMSUNG. no one works.
anyone have any idea for this?

Steadyshot stabilization for video doesnt work since Lollipop update. HELP!

Where should I send information about SERIOUS issue of new Lollipop on XPERIA Z3? Since last update from Kitkat the SteadyShot stabilization for video doesnt work (intelligent mode works standard). Previously great videos are now shaky and simply ugly. Please SONY make something with that on next update. Probably Ill have to sell my Z3 if there will be no patch. Im filmaker who needs good video quality in his smartphone.

SInce Tiger to Leopard Upgrade, Print Dialog Box Is too Basic, No Options

Since I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard recently, it seems the print dialog box for my HP printers (Officejet 8500 Pro Wireless, Photosmart 6150) is small and basic and does not offer the print options I am used to having like selecting a specific page to print instead of printing them all. Any way to restore that functionality and get back to the larger more flexible dialog box?

Thought I did and all that did was offer different printers, but I am wrong and you are right. Blue triangle is exactly what I was looking for.

Since updating to iOS 5, my bluetooth and signal have been destroyed. Before the update, the phone worked perfectly, connecting to my bluetooth in car for both calls and music. Reception was also perfect. Now, my bluetooth doesnt work, and I cant be heard

Since I updated my iphone 4 software from 4.3.3/4.3.5 - bought brand new only 2 weeks before the update came out - to iOS 5, my bluetooth no longer works in me ford fiesta and when I ring people, they literally can not hear a word I say. It has nothing to do with poor signal areas as they are the same areas I was in with the same phone before the software update! i have even sent for a replacement phone and received a reconditioned phone (after paying excess charge - JOKE!) and the same problem occured when I updated again. I cannot believe there is no downgrade as this iOS 5 is a shambles and to be honest, I see very little difference in terms of apps and photos so i have no idea why apple are recommending this upgrade!
Is there anything I can do to improve the fact that nobody can hear me on the phone when I speak?!! Or are apple going to insist I keep a phone that is of no use to me if I can't actually use it as a PHONE!

Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

Wifi and bluetooth doesnt work anymore - Help

Earlier today I was able connect my playbook to my home wifi network and blackberry tour through the bridge platform. Now I can no longer get bluetooth enabled on my tablet and it is unable to pick up not only my personal wifi network but others as well.
I have a Linksys router with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Antenna, my playbook has always been connected to the 2.4Ghz band before. For some reason, it wouldtnt connect to the 5Ghz anyway. It wasnt a concern until tonight..
Since I could not connect to Wifi anymore and couldnt bring bluetooth back on either, I tried multiple restart, hard reset and finally a security wipe, hoping it would bring me back to factory default at least.
Now im back at the initial setup, but I still cant connect to my wifi. The 2.4ghz wifi wont even show in the available network, and even though I can see the 5ghz network, it wont connect.
Connecting the playbook to desktop software at this point doesnt seem to work, it tells "Setup hasnt been completed for the connected Playbook. Disconnect your device and finish the setup" bla bla bla.
Any other way to actually reset that thing ?

My bluetooth was OFF and so was my Wifi.
When I went into Bridge setup on the playbook, it said something like "you have to enable bluetooth to get bridge working" but bluetooth wouldnt come back ON anyway... so I dont know what crashed bluetooth + wifi...
This morning I updated the playbook with Desktop Software, but Im still stuck in setup trying to connect a Wifi. It will shows an available network but when I try to connect it fails and then the network is just not available anymore. Im sitting 2 feet from the router.. cant be because there is a bad signal. The wifi network is also working for anything else trying to connect to it.
I wish there was a way to get pass that setup without a wifi connection.

Mail program not working since upgrading to Leopard 10.5.6

We have loaded the new Leopard system now twice, and both times the Mail program fails to launch from the taskbar, but stays open in the background. The program will not close, and fails to open to even try to check email. It seems other programs are working just fine, but nothing right with Mail. Anyone know if there is a fix to this?

While the other poster's cited article references certain issues with 10.5.6, they are when updating a system that was already on Leopard. If, as it appears, you were Upgrading an earlier version of OSX, such as 10.4.11, then the relevant article is:

Where an even earlier OSX than Tiger once generated the Mail folder, two other MessageSorting files will need to be removed, also.

Interface help needed (Edirol FA-66) - works with Tiger, not Leopard

I have an Edirol FA66 that works fine on my Macbook running Tiger, but doesn't show up as a device on my iMac running Leopard. Can anyone help please? Thanks....

I used Edirol FA-66 interface successfully with my Intel iMac using Tiger & Logic, iTunes etc for a year, and it worked great. I upgraded from 10.4.4 to 10.4.11 when the system wouldn't recognize M-Audio Radium keyboard. After the upgrade keyboard is on board but now FA-66 doesn't work at all, crackles, static, no sound or device recognition. Must be some glitch in 10.4.11..? Downgraded and the keyboard is gone. Upgraded and the interface is gone. Crazy!
If I buy Leopard, will it resolve both?? I don't want to get Leopard and weigh down my system with all the stuff that goes with it and have the Edirol stuck in the same situation. Is there anyone out there who has experienced this and can recommend a particular version of Leopard?

Capture not working (since upgrade to leopard)

i have upgraded my OS to leopard and since doing that if i try to open FCE with my camera attached (to the back of the mac via firewire) the rainbow wheel comes up and FCE just wont open until i turn the camera off. i also get the same problem if i try to capture anything, but without the camera on everything else works fine i can edit existing clips etc.
this was never a problem before i upgraded to leopard, are there some setting i need to change in order to get round this?
the reason i upgraded was to be able to use the magic mouse fully.
equipment i am using is as follows:
camera: Canon XM2
computer: power mac G5
OS: 10.5.8
FCE: 3.5.1

okay, i have done as you suggested and uninstalled FCE and then re-installed from the upgrade which appeared to work first time i went to use capture, but then went back to use it again the next day and i had the same problem again!!
but after a few times of plugging and unplugging the firewire it finally regognised that the camera was there, one of the odd things i noticed was that when i plugged it in to the back of my g-raid hard drive it did recognise that the camera was there and i could control it from capture but it didn't show any images from the camera?
any ideas from anyone as to why it seems to be working intermittently?

Bluetooth not working since ios6

Neither my iPhone 3gsor iPad2 can see each other or my Track Pad or the Wireless Keyboard since I upgraded to ios6.
iPhone and iPad and next to each Searching for devices but cannot see each other.
I have rebooted both.
Any ideas how to fix?

I have same problem, exactly same Iphone, same rolling circle etc. plus I also tried all upper solutions same as aquaholic said. Problem appears with iOS 6.1.3. about 30 min after instaling that lol upgrade. I went to appstore (in Poland) - they couldn`t help but one guy told me that iPhone turns off wifi and bluetooth when Iphone is too hot and turns it off becouse iOS 6 uses hot sensor (at least i think he told something like that) which iOS 5 doesn`t. Solution which comes to my mind was quite stupid - cool down Iphone in fridge. So I put it there for 15min (someone did that too on other forum so it help me with decision) and .. tadaaa ! it worked. Anyway worked as long as it was really cold, when it warmed problem returns. So there can be two possibilities as I`m sure i didn`t damaged my phone neither dropped:
1. Heat sensor (if really exist) isn`t working properly and newest iOS just revealed that error. Sensor might be damaged somehow during one year of use even if i don`t remember or:
2. Software upgrading has errors which in some models of this Iphone appears.
IPhone was bought about 13 months ago in Bialystok, Poland from T-Mobile operator, There is no problem with my IPhone 5 also no problem with Iphone 3Gs but it`s too "old" fo iOS 6
I hope Apple read our posts and at least try to help or suggest anything.

I do not have a 16 gig card. But I have plugged in 8 gig SD cards to my iPad 2 with iOS5 and the camera connection kit and it works.
Not sure about the USB part of it, but I've used the card reader part successfully.
One thing to bear in mind, the iPad will 'optomize' the photos for viewing. So if you're a picky photo taker you may not want to back up and delete your photos since the optomization may reduce the overall quality of the original file.

Mail won't work since upgrading to Leopard

I just upgraded to Leopard and now Mail doesn't work at all. I click on the icon and it says, "You cannot use the application "Mail" with this version of Mac OS X. Everything else works fine.

you may have more than one Mail.app on your computer, and you may try to launch the Tiger version instead of the Leopard version. Can you search for Mail.app and see if indeed you have more than one, then select Mail.app 3.0, the leopard version and start it up.
Once you have located the correct version, trash the old one.

Toyita Bluetooth doesnt work after 10.3 upgrade

I'm so frustrated and looking to get rid of my BlackBerry if I can't get this resolved.
Since the new update that added android features my Bluetooth in my 2015 Rav will not work properly. The calls work but not the messages.
What's most frustrating is that I cannot even pull the car over to use my text on my phone because the text option is frozen. I have to shut my car off and wait about 3 minutes to return a text.
I really liked having the option for send a default message but that was short lived.
Please help as I've already discussed moving to Android and it's the last thing I want to do!!

But, the most common thing to do after an update that results in issues is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes, the update processes have errors and such...with a reload often curing the issues.
