Bluetooth doesnt work!

hey I just bought a billionton Bluetooth USB adapter, I can connect to my phone and move files using its software.
but when I go to nokia pc suite to manage connection and add bluetooth it says
"cannot use the connection type , check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are availble"
what to do ?
should I re-install nokia pc suite?
my windows is xp sp2
my nokia pc suite is 6.8
my mobie is nokia 3250

i am new at this forum, so i am apologizing, if its the wrong place to post my messenge!
but i got a problem with bluetooth, i cant send anything from my phone to my macbook.. before i had tiger and it worked fine, but now, with leopard it doesnt work.. i can send from my macbook to my phone,(not iphone) but not from phone to mac..
when i search at my phone for bluetooth, i can find my macbook, but when i try to send it says, "you cant connect to this macbook"..
i have tried many of type of phones. SE, NOKIA, SAMSUNG. no one works.
anyone have any idea for this?

Wifi and bluetooth doesnt work anymore - Help

Earlier today I was able connect my playbook to my home wifi network and blackberry tour through the bridge platform. Now I can no longer get bluetooth enabled on my tablet and it is unable to pick up not only my personal wifi network but others as well.
I have a Linksys router with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Antenna, my playbook has always been connected to the 2.4Ghz band before. For some reason, it wouldtnt connect to the 5Ghz anyway. It wasnt a concern until tonight..
Since I could not connect to Wifi anymore and couldnt bring bluetooth back on either, I tried multiple restart, hard reset and finally a security wipe, hoping it would bring me back to factory default at least.
Now im back at the initial setup, but I still cant connect to my wifi. The 2.4ghz wifi wont even show in the available network, and even though I can see the 5ghz network, it wont connect.
Connecting the playbook to desktop software at this point doesnt seem to work, it tells "Setup hasnt been completed for the connected Playbook. Disconnect your device and finish the setup" bla bla bla.
Any other way to actually reset that thing ?

My bluetooth was OFF and so was my Wifi.
When I went into Bridge setup on the playbook, it said something like "you have to enable bluetooth to get bridge working" but bluetooth wouldnt come back ON anyway... so I dont know what crashed bluetooth + wifi...
This morning I updated the playbook with Desktop Software, but Im still stuck in setup trying to connect a Wifi. It will shows an available network but when I try to connect it fails and then the network is just not available anymore. Im sitting 2 feet from the router.. cant be because there is a bad signal. The wifi network is also working for anything else trying to connect to it.
I wish there was a way to get pass that setup without a wifi connection.

Since I updated my iphone 4 software from 4.3.3/4.3.5 - bought brand new only 2 weeks before the update came out - to iOS 5, my bluetooth no longer works in me ford fiesta and when I ring people, they literally can not hear a word I say. It has nothing to do with poor signal areas as they are the same areas I was in with the same phone before the software update! i have even sent for a replacement phone and received a reconditioned phone (after paying excess charge - JOKE!) and the same problem occured when I updated again. I cannot believe there is no downgrade as this iOS 5 is a shambles and to be honest, I see very little difference in terms of apps and photos so i have no idea why apple are recommending this upgrade!
Is there anything I can do to improve the fact that nobody can hear me on the phone when I speak?!! Or are apple going to insist I keep a phone that is of no use to me if I can't actually use it as a PHONE!

Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

The phone talks to the computer all right, using Obex File Transfer. However, Nokia PC Suite refuses to connect with Bluetooth.
I had installed a friend’s older D-Link dongle without any issue, but when I put in the (newer) Digitus, PC Suite doesn’t want to play ball.
I have tried uninstalling everything related to Bluetooth, from various different drivers and PC Suite itself. I have uninstalled everything even made by Nokia in my software and begun again. I began with the drivers from the Digitus site (the ones from Broadcom and Asus either fail to install or do not work after installation), then put PC Suite on. I get the same error as others: that PC Suite cannot use the connection type. I also got a ‘Code: Openmedia’ error on other occasions.
I do not know what a ‘stack’ is (which someone suggested tonight) but PC Suite says it cannot access ‘Bluetooth (Microsoft)’ (this is greyed out in the connection types). I was told that I should not have both the Microsoft and the Broadcom drivers running together but the presence of this option suggests otherwise. No matter, I cannot find anything on my six-day-old machine remotely relating to a Microsoft Bluetooth driver, only the Broadcom one.

I do not have a 16 gig card. But I have plugged in 8 gig SD cards to my iPad 2 with iOS5 and the camera connection kit and it works.
Not sure about the USB part of it, but I've used the card reader part successfully.
One thing to bear in mind, the iPad will 'optomize' the photos for viewing. So if you're a picky photo taker you may not want to back up and delete your photos since the optomization may reduce the overall quality of the original file.

I'm so frustrated and looking to get rid of my BlackBerry if I can't get this resolved.
Since the new update that added android features my Bluetooth in my 2015 Rav will not work properly. The calls work but not the messages.
What's most frustrating is that I cannot even pull the car over to use my text on my phone because the text option is frozen. I have to shut my car off and wait about 3 minutes to return a text.
I really liked having the option for send a default message but that was short lived.
Please help as I've already discussed moving to Android and it's the last thing I want to do!!

But, the most common thing to do after an update that results in issues is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes, the update processes have errors and such...with a reload often curing the issues. Open PC Settings > PC and devices > Bluetooth > there you can enable BT.
After doing this you can change to the desktop and you will see the BT symbol in task bar.

Unless you're trying to tether your phone to your computer or create a personal hotspot, it won't pair with your computer by bluetooth. File transfer by bluetooth is not supported. So, you can quit trying unless you're trying to tether.

Are you trying to tether? because that is supported over wifi. you can use icloud to get some data to sync. bump can also transfer certain data like contacts or photos.

IPhone 4s bluetooth wont work with car

My Blackberry bold and iPhone 4 were absolutely fine with 3 different cars. I have just upgraded to the iPhone 4s and now the phone connects to the bluetooth but doesnt work properly. It rings and the screen shows that there is a call there, it even turns the radio off but the voice is coming out of the hadset. In previous versions i think you could select Audio Device 'in call' but you cant on the 4s. I have tried it in an Audi, a new Volvo and a BMW so i think that the car kits should be fairly up to date. Please help as i do lots of work miles during the day when on the phone.

i would try turning the bluetooth off and reconnect it and if that does not work reset your phone for it may be something wrong with it. if nothing else works you may have to bring it to the apple store, becuase the 4s you may have may have a bad bluetooth connector. hopes this helps
