Bluetooth driver Windows 7 64-bit

I use my N82 with Windows 7 64-bit using a Bluetooth connection (Widcomm stack). Nokia PC Suite 7.1.40.6 communicates with the phone via Bluetooth without any problems. However, the PC still appears to miss a Bluetooth modem driver: In the device manager, under "Other Devices", I can find 3 entries for a "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" (obviously the N82) without a driver.
I have downloaded the "Bluetooth Modem driver for Windows 2000, XP and Vista Users" (an ".inf" file) from the Nokia web site and tried to install it manually, but Windows keeps telling me that it can't use it as a driver.
What else can I do? Is there another driver for Windows 7 64-bit?

  • Bluetooth Driver Windows 7 64 pro

I have just re-imaged my old HP 2540P model XP888PA and have spent the last WEEK trying to find the bluetooth drivers for this #@$$! machine without success.  Why is it soooooo hard to find a simple driver?  The  hardware ID for this device is USB\VID_03F0&PID_231D&REV_0306. I have already tried the following packages without success:
    SP44774
    SP45078
    SP46999
    SP47022
    SP49104
    SP49408
    SP53068
    SP53806
    SP56391
    SP57275
    SP58782
    SP59684
    SP59697
    SP66915
    I know some of these packages are not related to the Bluetooth per se but these are all of the packages that have been installed on this machine so far.  The last one I tried was SP44774 and I got an error saying;
The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device instance.
I know the hardware was working before the re-image.  What can I do that doesn't involve me going to buy a new laptop or bluetooth dongle?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hope this is what your looking for...and it is sp47022.exe as listed in one of your numbers you downloaded. So was there a reason that didn't work. Also in your Device Manager does it list a Bluetooth Device there? It could be you don't have a bluetooth device there as this for all major consumer laptops was a addon not something that by defaults comes with the laptop.

  • Can't re-install Bluetooth on Windows vista 64 bit - Satellite A305

I am having a problem with my bluetooth on my new Toshiba A305-S6843 machine.
It is running Vista 64-bit version.
Previously, the machine had version 6.10.02T Build 20080128 on it, but the bluetooth radio would not enable. The device was recognized in Device Manager, but the error I would get was "Bluetooth not Ready" when I clicked on ENABLE.
So, I tried to install the latest software from your downloads page . "TOSHIBA Bluetooth Stack 6.10.10(T)"
When it unpacks and starts to install. The error I get is: "The operating system is not adequate for running bluetooth stack on Toshiba" and fails.'
When I try to reinstall the older version "6.10.02T Build 20080128" - i get an error "1155" and that's it.
Now i can not reinstall any Bluetooth stack to get it working.
    Please help

You have most likely downloaded the x32 version instead of the x64 one. Download the x64 version and try again.

1 . updated the update retrever tool to new version 5 , it does download the Wireless driver to its repository, however the "system update" tool on the computers does not show/install this driver
    2. i reimaged the computer too, still no go
    3. created new repository folder when updated the update retrever to new version
    Thank you

I'm very excited to finally have a solution for this problem. Thank You Balaji for figuring this out. I've been struggling with this for a number of years, and had only one USB Hard Drive that worked. I too have VMware workstation, and had the missing files
in "c:\windows\inf." I can say with certainty that I did not delete the files from that folder, but something is common in both of our situations. Maybe it has to do with VMware, and some of it's updates over the years. I'm also using nCompute to share out
a networked desktop via the wire.
One more thing worthy of mention is this machine was an update from Windows Vista, and the USB hard drive that worked was configured back than. So although I could never add another HD, at least I had the one.
Now with having copied over the files, I can plugin other USB enclosures with different drives and they too are working.
Like you mentioned, it was always possible to use USB devices within my Virtual Machines, so it was clear that the USB ports were functional. I actually got the files from a clean Windows 7 VM, copying out the \windows\inf folder and doing a compare between
the the real one and the virtual one. I found the two missing files you mentioned, along with 8 others. I went ahead and included them all in your fix.
It worked, Amazing. Thanks again. :O)

    Help me

    hi coldsteel,
    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
If you're seing the image below when you press Fn+F5, this feature of the Energy Management is only for Windows 7.
If you don't see your bluetooth device under the Device Manger in Windows 8, try to:
    1. Turn off the computer and remove the AC adapter, battery and press and hold the power button for 30secs.
    2. Reinsert the AC adapter and battery and press the power button. During boot-up, repeatedly press F2 to go to the BIOS, when you're in, press F9 to load defaults and press F10 to save and exit.
    3. When you're back to Windows, check if the Bluetooth device is not detected under the Device Manager.
    Edit: Added Image
    Hope this helps.

I really need Compatible Bluetooth driver for my Notebook PC to run on Windows 8 Enterprise 64 bit.
(or Any other Bluetooth driver which is compatible with HP Pavilion DV6-6119tx to run on Windows 8 64 bit)

    Hi,
    Did you mean this version?
Ralink Motorola BC8 Bluetooth HS Adapter
    Version 3
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Type=Software&Name=Ralink+Motorola+BC8+Bluetooth+HS+Adapter&ModelOrVersion=3&Vendor=Motorola&Locale=1031%2C1033%2C1042%2C1043%2C1046%2C2057%2C3081%2C4105%2C16393&LastSearchTerm=Ralink%2BMotorola%2BBluetooth%2B%252bHS%2B%2BAdapter%2B&BreadcrumbPath=Ralink+Motorola+Bluetooth+%2BHS++Adapter+&TempOsid=Windows+8
According to this site, this version of Bluetooth adapter is compatible with Windows 8, so it's related to driver. Please try to remove the driver in device manager and restart the computer to reinstall to see what's going on.
Download this driver and install this in compatible mode:

  • Can't Install bluetooth driver on Windows 8 64 bit. MSI GE620DX

I cant install the provided  Windows 8 64bit Bluetooth driver from the MSI download page. Tried many times, Reboot Uninstall current driver, install again, and ETC.
I had sent a question to MSI already, it's been a month already since I sent a ticket and I still got no update or fix from MSI Support.
Does MSI support usually take this long to provide fix or reply for this kind of issues? I felt disregarded cause I haven't got any reply aside from the advise to download the driver on the MSI download page; which is the driver that is not working. I've already sent them a message that It won't work. -_-
The Bluetooth function of my Laptop is useless as of now.
Does anyone here encountered a Driver problem similar to mine?

I finally got this fixed. I uninstalled all Bluetooth related drivers and programs using Ccleaner and clean all its traces in the registry as well, rebooted and tried installing the provided Bluetooth driver provided on the MSI Download Page and succeeded.

  • Problem with bluetooth driver (bootcamp windows 7) ! Can't connect any bluetooth device...

1st word, so sorry about my poor English !
My device here is : macbook pro mid 2012 MD101 (MacOSX & Windows 7 Ultimate, my question here's on Windows 7) !
I have a bluetooth mouse and a speaker, at my workplace I need to use 2 devices wireless, although they have both got wires (for aesthetics ya know )
I've also installed full bootcamp drivers, but bluetooth driver's still not work at all ! So can someone show me how to install bluetooth driver correctly, please ?
Many thanks to ya all !

There are a number of posts related to accessing and/ copying issues between Windows Vista / 7 and AirPort Disks. Two potential solutions being forwarded are: 1) Changing the LAN Manager authentication level, and/or 2) Disabling the Windows Search feature.
To change the LAN Manager authentication level:
From the Windows Vista / 7 desktop, click Start
    Search for: security
    Click 'Local Security Policy'
Goto Local Policies > Security Options
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: LAN Manager authentication level'
Change level to: Send LM & NTLM responses
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP based (including RPC) clients'
    De-select 'Require 128-bit encryption'
    Click OK
     To disable Windows Search:
Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features
On the right-hand side, click "Turn Windows features on/off"
Scroll down, and de-select "Windows Search".
Press OK, close all windows and restart.
A third "solution," that has worked for me, is verify that both the AirPort base station and the Win7 PC are using the exact same Workgroup Name. In my case, I use "WORKGROUP" (without the quote marks) for this name. From the AirPort Utility, you would enter this value on the Disks > File Sharing tab. On Win7, Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Change Settings > Change > Workgroup

  • How can I reinstall Bluetooth drivers after loading windows 7 64 bit version on my 2010 iMac?

I have just uninstalled windows 7 32 bit version which I have been using for ages and upgraded to the 64 bit version. I did this from the windows partition in my bootcamp divided hard drive. I then reinstalled the drivers using the application DVD which came with my machine but the Bluetooth driver is missing. One thought I have is whether I would be able to use the driver DVD which came with my 2011 MacBook Air (which has been running fine on windows 64bit version since I bought it)
Would this work or any other ideas?
