    Amanat,
you need to post your model number which can be found on the system itself, please see following link, or post the Lenovo part number.  This will enable Shiva to check that your system should have Bluetooth; not all G470s have Bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth Setting Missing

    Product Name: HP Touchsmart 23-f217c
    Edition: Windows 8.1
I have just purchased some new Beats Wireless bluetooth headphones and would like to connect them with my computer.
I go into Settings/PC Settings/Devices and there is no option to enable or disable bluetooth devices. The toggle button is missing from there completely.
How can I connect my bluetooth device to my computer? I find it very strange that this setting is missing completely.
I also have a Microsoft Surface tablet and in Settings/PC Settings/Devices the Bluetooth toggle is there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,

  • Bluetooth Gone Missing

Some way or another, bluetooth has gone missing from my System Preferences pane. I restarted my computer a few days ago and noticed that it was gone. In the past I have used the OS X installation CD and Pacifist to fix problems like this but I'm not sure what file I should install or if this is even the solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello,
Is it a mouse you are pairing with the MacBook? And can you see the Bluetooth icon in the Status Menu Bar???
Probably a good time to check the boot disk for errors just in case.
Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
Select your disk, and click First Aid.
    Click Verify Disk.
If the disk needs repairs, do one of the following:
Insert your Mac OS X Install disc in your computer’s optical drive or an optical drive connected to your computer, and then restart your computer. When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the progress indicator, which looks like a spinning gear.
Follow the onscreen instructions until the menu bar appears with the Utilities menu in it, choose Utilities > Disk Utility, click First Aid, and then click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer using Remote Install Mac OS X. Follow the onscreen instructions until the menu bar appears with the Utilities menu in it, choose Utilities > Disk Utility, click First Aid, and then click Repair Disk.
Checking a hard disk to see if it’s going to fail
You can check the health of your hard disk by checking its Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) status in Disk Utility. Most disk drives include S.M.A.R.T. hardware. Developed by IBM, S.M.A.R.T. hardware allows hard disks to test themselves for potential problems.
To check your hard disk’s S.M.A.R.T. status:
Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.Select the disk in the list at the left, and look at the bottom of the window for a field named “S.M.A.R.T. Status.”
Is it a mouse you are pairing with the MacBook?

  • Bluetooth button missing from iChat Video Conference window

I normally use a bluetooth headset when in an iChat video conference. Tiger has a button on the bottom edge of the video screen to select or deselect the bluetooth headset. This button is missing in Leopard forcing you to go into the preferences panel and select the device there.
Did I miss an option somewhere?
    Mike

    Hi,
I have not heard of this in iChat 3.
As no-one else has answered I would guess it is a feature many others are unaware of.

  • Bluetooth Modem missing - what to do?

I had trouble using the modem with the PC Suite, it just didn't work for some reason. I'm using the N79. Then I checked the connection properties and saw that the N79 connection had listed the 6730 modem as its hardware (I connected both phones in the past). Maybe those two got mixed somehow.. (or are they the same thing?) Anyway, I decided to just remove/uninstall the modem (in the Device Manager) to then install it again from scratch.
I uninstalled the PC Suite, cleared everything Nokia related in the registry, reinstalled the PC Suite, reinstalled Bluetooth drivers, reconnected the phone and it still doesn't work. PC Suite thinks that the modem is there, but in the Connections I get this:
Every time I try to connect with the PC Suite a new connection link is created. When I tried to enter the preferences for it, I got the error above.
In the PC Suite settings there is still the N79 modem listed, although it's obviously missing. What can I do to install it or to remove it from the PC Suite, so that it will get installed when I reinstall PC Suite? Is there a way to completely uninstall PC Suite, to clear EVERYTHING related to it from the computer?

I then deleted a bunch of N79 modem related entries in the registry. Now at least it doesn't think the modem is installed, it wants to install it, but then I get this error:
Which was also discussed here, for example:
    http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=3528
So it would seem that the modem component is completely missing from Windows...
Any ideas (other than reinstalling Windows from scratch) are still welcome.

  • Lenovo Bluetooth file missing on their site

There have been a few posts regarding T61p and other models with bluetooth compatibility problems. While I was tinkering, I went for the latest lenovo driver here:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67250.html
No file is attached to the page.
Anyone have any ideas as to the reason the file is missing? Anyone have the file?

Hi ndemarco, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!
That looks like a web page error. I've had good success getting them fixed, often in less than 24 hours, by clicking on "Site Feedback" and reporting them.
    I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

  • Bluetooth adapter missing

After years of reliable service, my bluetooth adapter quit last night on my Mac Pro 5,1 (mid 2010) 12 core tower. I have been using Apple's wireless keyboard, magic mouse, magic trackpad, bluetooth keypad, and logitech wireless headset until I went to launch a Steam game and the mouse just quit moving. Of course I changed batteries, etc and finally found and tried my old wired keyboard and mouse.
When I go into System Information and look at the Bluetooth section under Hardware I have ?No information found" for the bluetooth adapter. Everything else looks like it should with no errors. The bluetooth status in the status bar is grayed out with a Not Available message.
So I am looking for an apple replacement part for the bluetooth adapter as I understand that EFI firmware updates require an integrated bluetooth adapter or you lose keybpard support for that process I would also like to know if anyone has tried other third-party bluetooth dongles or add-in cards with success.
Thanks for any advice you might have.

I'm back and working, I reset the NVRAM.
To do so, follow these simple steps:
    Power off the Mac Pro
On a wired keyboard press Command+P+R and hold them
    Power on the Mac Pro
While continuing to hold the COMMAND+P+R keys wait for the system to boot into the System Utilities screen. At that point all the wireless (bluetooth) devices were working so I restarted the Mac.
If anyone has any third-party bluetooth adapter suggestions I'd love to hear about them all the same.

  • Bluetooth keyboard "missing"

Since installing latest update to 10.6.8 I can no longer "discover" my Apple bluetooth keyboard. Is this a problem with the update or has something else likely happened to my system?

Disregard.  Because of the restart the keyboard had in the meantime paired with my wife's computer in another room.

  • Bluetooth Module missing

What does one do when the macbook says the bluetooth module is not installed? I was working on getting the macbook to see my mobile phone, now I cannot get into the setting for bluetooth no matter where I go on the macbook. How can the module be there, and then just gone?

This happened to me, just reset the PRAM. Restart holding down the Command, Option, P and R keys until you hear the second startup sound. It should work after that.
    Good Luck.

  • Bluetooth is MIssing

Sir, I am not able to see bluetooth option in my system. Please let me know where I can get this option. It doesn't appears when i press window + x button. Please help me to get the bluetooth option

    Hi:
What model wireless network card does your model have?
That determines what model bluetooth driver you need to install.
The product specs for your notebook indicates it does come with bluetooth, so it is probably a driver problem.
