Bluetooth has disappeared since 10.5.7

Bluetooth has totally disappeared from my iMac since installing 10.5.7. No bluetooth preference, "No Information Found" in Apple Profiler. When trying to get the Bluetooth icon into the menu bar via the Network preference, it flashes but won't stay. Here's what I've done so far.
1. Reinstalled 10.5.7 with the combo updater.
2. Trashed the plist file and restarted.
3. Reset PRAM.
4. Repaired permissions.
Any thoughts? One minute I'm using a wireless keyboard, and the next I don't even have Bluetooth.

I have the exact same problem. The only difference is, I had never, ever used bluetooth since I got my macbook until today. I tried setting up my wireless keyboard/mouse and I couldn't find the bluetooth preference pane. I tried all the methods in this thread with no help. I decided to call apple and the representative told me to the SMC reset after which nothing happened. He told me to take it to the apple store for repairs as it is a hardware issue. Kinda weird as I have never used bluetooth ( I remember in the beginning i had a bluetooth icon in my task bar but turned it off because it was no use) Anyone have any other ideas? I do not want to drive all the way to the apple store and wait for my macbook to get repaired.

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

My video call icon on facebook chat has disappeared since upgrading to mavericks, any ideas anyone?

Since upgrading to Mavericks about a month ago, my video chat icon has disappeared from Facebook chat - I can't think of any other reason for this problem other than the upgrade to Mavericks. Any ideas anyone?

I'm also dealing with some slowness since moving to Mavericks — but mainly with regard to long lag times with the Finder when I go to rename files, move files, or delete files.

Much of my music in itunes has disappeared since syncing with iphone 4s?

I'm not sure what is going on, but most of my music in itunes seems to have disappeared since syncing with my new iphone4s.
I just noticed this when trying to look for a ringtone to put on my phone. I haven't put any music or anything like that onto my phone yet.
What is going on? Can I get this back? I still have the music on an ipod. most of the music I uploaded from cd to itune.

This is not sounding like an iTunes Match issue - worth trying the iPhone forum and/or the iTunes for Windows/Mac forum.
Usually in synchronisation, pending settings the library will adjust Songs on the device - it is not normal for connect to a device to alter Songs in a library unless to add - for example, addition of Songs purchase on the device.
Would recommend - creating a second library, importing Songs from iPod and making a secure backup - from here you can use this resource to correct your original library, once the issue with your iPhone has been resolved.

HT204291 Airplay mirroring on my iPhone 4s has disappeared since updating to iOS6.1. Has anyone else seen this same problem?

The mirror option seems to be missing since updating to iOS6.1
I can still use airplay from applications that allow it, however I can not find the option to mirror my whole iPhone as I could with iOS 6.0.
Anyone know a workaround?

I have the same issue. Any other app works with airplay. Music app, videos received in iMessages, YouTube and so on. The videos in the camera roll don't want to airplay. Either I get a black screen or a spinning wheel on TV. Any ideas?

What has happened to the URL window in "show all history" library? On my desktop and notebook this has disappeared since the 3.6.12 update.

Only the "Date" window is shown, libraries window appears to be inaccessible since update to version 3.6.12, unless I'm missing something.

YouTube is not now part of iOS 6.
However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

A site that I use regularly has buttons that I can use to navigate - but 1 has disappeared since the last FireFox update - and I can't use it anymore.

For 2 years I've been using a website that I order my products through. One of the buttons is my '''account''', the other is the '''catalogue '''(many others besides those - but those are the ones I use frequently).
After the last FireFox update (3.6.15) - suddenly the "'''catalogue'''" button disappeared. I thought it was a problem with the company site, but when they accessed my account (using an older version of FireFox) - the catalogue button showed up.
I've tried clearing my cache and restarting firefox - multiple times. No dice. Can't get it to come back.
I have screenshots to show the problem - with my computer and with my suppliers computer.

Bluetooth has disappeared?

My bluetooth speaker shows up in devices, but I can't find Bluetooth in device manager. No connection to the speaker so where did it go? There are 2 unknown devices in device manager but I assumed they might be the camera.

Well I solved my issue and it wasn't what I thought. I flashed my BIOS recently and apparently it turned OFF the Bluetooth in Onboard Device Configuration. There were 2 Bluetooth Devices listed in sequence with only 1 checked. So after installing unnecessary drivers and adding clutter to my system it showed up on reboot after I checked BOTH devices.
After upgrading your BIOS go in and check out the new defaults. They may not be what you expected or make any sense at all. The latest BIOS for the Probook 650 added the option to increase Shared Video Ram in Advanced Options so that is a plus but geeze why turn off Bluetooth?
Now maybe I can find out why DisplayPort isn't giving me any signal through an HDMI cable with adapter. Any ideas guys on Windows 8.1 with HD4600 internal video?
