Bluetooth headphones causing Pandora intermittent operation.

My new Tzumi Bluetooth headphones are connecting to my older Ipad 2 (with updated iOS of 8.1.2)  properly, but when I go to Pandora radio, I get intermittent operation...it will play for a while and then stop or will go through a whole song and then stop again. When I disable Bluetooth on the Ipad or the headphones, Pandora works properly. Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

  • Bluetooth headphones: intermittent cutting and out

When using bluetooth headphones with my g5 (OSx 10.5.8) and listening to my iTunes library the sounds cuts in and out regularly through out the songs.
I am only a couple of feet away from the computer, sitting at my desk. This is not happening with my iPhone 4s. Does any one have any experience and suggestions for this?
    Thanks

I'm not sure what the problem is to be honest. I just know I wold love Apple to fix this issue. I've tried turning off the Wi-Fi on my unit and this issue still exist. I was thinking since it's a BT 2.0 and my headphones specs are BT 2.1 + EDR. I'm not sure, and would love for someone to help me fix this issue. I'm on the verge of returning my headphones and purchase the Jaybird Headphones.

  • I would like to connect both my iphone and ipod to my bluetooth headphones at the same time. Is there anything that I can buy to accomplish this

I am trying to connect both my ipod touch 5h gen and also my iphone 5c to my bluetooth headphones at the same time. I have been told because of the way the operating system works this is not possible. I used to be able to do this on my old  non apple handset.
The reason I would like to do this is because when I am listening to my ipod and have my phone in my pocket it is not connected to bluetooth and I am missing important phone calls some of which are business calls.
Is there any type of device that i can get from apple to allow this to work.
    Regards
    Bodi

The iOS implementation of the Bluetooth Protocol does not permit use of a Bluetooth device with more than one source at a time.

  • Recommended Bluetooth Headphones for 3G S?

I have a set of Motorola HT820 stereo Bluetooth headphones on the way to me in the mail, which I'll be pairing with the 3G S I'm soon to purchase. The reviews seem to generally be good, although of course the bad reviews are particularly vocal.
My question is this: how's your experience with pairing stereo Bluetooth headphones with your 3G S been? How's the music quality been? Have you encountered any major issues? Any excessive drain on battery life that you've been able to isolate strictly to the Bluetooth streaming as a cause?

I would do a search of the forum. There have been a number of posts regarding Motorola stereo headsets and bluetooth paring with the iPhone. Use the search options on the right side of the screen and see what you find. That is probably your best option.

  • Can I use Bluetooth headphones with a 1st generation iPhone?

Can I use Bluetooth headphones with a 1st generation iPhone? The headphones pair but the sound comes out of the phone and not the headphones. The phone has iOS 3.1 which is the last software the phone will support. Thanks.

    This will help you:
    Original iPhone
The original iPhone features Bluetooth capabilities only for making calls. Connecting to a PC or streaming audio other than phones calls through Bluetooth is not supported.
    IPhone 3G
With the iPhone 3G operating system, its Bluetooth capabilities are expanded to support wireless stereo headsets, file sharing with other Bluetooth devices, and use of the iPhone as a 3G modem. Also supported are new capabilities for combining the iPhone with Bluetooth accessories.
    IPhone 4.0
The 4.0 version of the iPhone's operating systems keeps the expanded Bluetooth functions introduced in version 3 and adds one new benefit: Bluetooth keyboard support, so iPhone owners can use wireless keyboards wherever they go.

  • Problem with video audio sync using Bluetooth headphones

I have recently bought a pair of beats studio wireless headphones but when using my ipad there are sync issues with video and audio. Many apps have the problem but sky go seems to be the worst followed by YouTube. Apple video is not too bad but not perfect.

    Hello Jamie,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your new Bluetooth headphones.  It can certainly get frustrating if the audio gets out of sync when using the headphones.
I recommend reviewing the sections titled "Resolution" and "Bluetooth disconnects, intermittent connectivity, or unable to find" in the following article for steps to troubleshoot the issue you described:

  • Bluetooth Headphones: Error Connecting to Headset

I am having issues with a pair of MeElectronics AirFi Venture Bluetooth Headphones that I would like to use with my Windows 7 Dell Latitude E6430 laptop. I am able to pair them with the machine, but when I open the Bluetooth control panel and hit connect,
I get a message that says, "Error connecting to headset. Please retry this operation." I have tried:
    Removing and re-pairing the headset.
    Restarting the machine.
Removing and Reinstalling the latest drivers from Dell.
    Installing Broadcom Bluetooth software.
Adjusting the services prior to pairing the headset.
After all of these, I still get the same error message. I am able to pair the headset with my phone and tablet, with both able to broadcast to it.
    Any thoughts?
    Dan

    Hi,
Do you have other bluetooth devices? Are you able to pair them with your Windows 7 Dell laptop? Please make sure to turn on discoverable mode. And have you checked the driver for the bluetooth adapter? And If you're using a bluetooth adapter
via usb port, try another port or reinstall the driver for usb controller.

  • Yosemite + Bluetooth headphones = random unacceptable stutter

Using a pair of Creative WP380 bluetooth headphones with Yosemite, playing music on iTunes or video on VLC gives me random stuttering that never seems to stop. The headphones work perfectly with my Nexus 7 tablet via bluetooth, and regular wired headphones are fine on the Mac, no stuttering.
Anyone seen this happen, and did you manage to solve this?

    Hi JotOER,
try in the activity menu to monitor the CoreAudio process "coreaudiod" (type in search field coreaudiod) while playing
videos, if the monitored process will show temporary red color, you might have a serious problem with the CoreAudio engine
in Yosemite for your personal hardware setup, so you should go back to the previous MacOS you installed before.
Since I follow the comments in the internet about OSX Yosemite, my impression is that this operating system is working
well for some apple computers, but not for all it should. As a software engineer I'm working with tree instances of OSX
(10.6, 10.9, 10.10) on my late 2008 iMac (2,4GHz 6GB RAM). On my two OSX followers of snowleopard 10.6 I had to
"hack" personally the operating system to be satisfied with the setup, each OSX upgrade seems to be a loss of quality
but with increasing innovation, many apple users complain there is not enough support from apple side ... where will it end ??

  • Bluetooth Headphones for Mac Pro - Recommendations Please?

    Hello!
I am looking for a Bluetooth headphones to listen to iTunes on my Mac Pro.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

yup.. this was added to Leopard 10.5... 10.5 is REALLY flaky though (all around, not bluetoothwise)... 10.5.2 is what you need.
but with 10.5.2 installed i use the Motorola MOTOROKR™ S9 with a Belkin USB bluetooth adapter (class 1 so get 300 ft range)... works really well... good for exercise 'cause they are light and they stay in your ears securely and can take sweat etc and they are sound isolating and have two sizes of in ear thingies for different sized ears.
plus have Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). AVRCP lets you control iTunes and volume from the head phones... back, forward, play, pause, volume up and down.. they are really cool and work perfectly.

No, the iPod and the Mac have different operating systems; iOS and OS X respectively. The apps must be developed for the Specific OS. When the same app is for both platforms, they are actually two different apps and if you want both, then you have to buy both separately from their respective app stores.

  • RAM preview audio will not play through bluetooth headphones

I am using bluetooth headphones (Jaybird Freedom Sprint) to try and edit audio/video in after effects. However, when I go to Preferences>Audio Output Mapping and choose "Freedom Sprint" and click OK, close the preference window, and it will automatically go back to the default "Built in Output" when I open it back up. It will only play the sound through the Mac Pro tower I am using. Is there a way to get the headphone option output to stay permanently?? Is there a reason why it is not staying selected?  Another thing I forgot to mention is that all other sounds work (like iTunes, volume up/down) through the headphones except for the audio RAM preview in After Effects. How can I disable the audio from playing through the tower? Very frustrating!
BTW - the only time headphones actually work is when they are plugged into the tower. These ones obviously can't be plugged in.
    Thanks! (Screenshots provided for help)

Thanks! I definitely did try that first... (trying to find a solution with the headphones). You can't find any info about them online/their website. Regardless though, After Effects will not allow me to play the audio output through any other device except for the Mac Pro tower - even playing it through the LCD Cinema Display won't work.
    Thanks for your reply

  • Is there a way to listen to radio on iPod nano 7th gen with Bluetooth headphones?

I know the iPod nano 7th gen uses the headphones as an antenna. I know there will need to be some sort of antenna attached. Does anybody know if there is an antenna on the market that can be plugged into the headphone jack that will allow audio to be sent to a pair of Bluetooth headphones?

There is currently no such antenna available.

  • Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?

Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?
The sound when I record video is not so good, so I'm trying to use the Bluetooth headphone/microphone to capture a person voice but not know which setting to use.

    Hi Robert
Thanks for answering. I didn't know where to post other than the bluetooth forum which is relatively quiet and had no answers forthcoming.
Yes the voice isn't reaching the amp although it is registering on the input bar in the Sound System Prefs, just won't "play through" as it were. I can't see how it could be done I was just hoping someone might see something I am missing.
It seems a shame that you can't do it as iTunes on an old iBook makes a good juke box for DJ'ing and with everything becoming wireless these days it seems sensible that you could cut that one last wire.

  • Can you use 2 sets of bluetooth headphones at the same time with the Ipad 4?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I can use 2 sets of bluetooth headphones at the same time with the Ipad?
