Bluetooth headphones not streaming itunes

Hello,
when using an itunes enabled phone like the moto RAZR V3i, a bluetooth stereo headphone kit does not allow itune music to stream to the headphones.
Is this a problem with itunes software, or the phone's hardware/software capabilities streaming to a bluetooth headphone set?
there's not much info out there, execpt people confirming that it doesn't work.

your phone probably doesnt have A2DP bluetooth profile. theres no real way to get that profile either unless you reflash your phone i think.

  • Bluetooth headphones not working after ios6 update

I have the RF-MAB2 Rocketfish headphones. I also have an Iphone 3gs.
Both are running their latest firmware releases. After updating the iphone to IOS6 the bluetooth headphone no longer would work.
It showed paried with the iphone but music and other apps would not play any sound through the headphones.
I had to go onto the iphone, forget the device and readd it. This has resolved the issues.

I am talking about the wired headphone which received with the phone.
The problem is after the upgrade to ios6 the voice is only coming from one side ( right side ) of the headphone while listening to music.
However if I use apps like Viber, WhatsApp I can hear voice from both the side of the headphone.

  • SBH9150 philips bluetooth headphone not detected in macbook pro retina 13"

I just purchased an SBH9150 philips bluetooth headphone. But my macbook pro retina 13" could not detect it. Anybody can help? It is perfectly working with my iphone 5.

Unpair it from your phone and then try pairing it to your Mac.
Does the Mac see any BT devices like KB or mouse?

  • Bluetooth Headphones not working with the Nano 6th Gen

I was wondering if anyone else out there has issues with using bluetooth headphone with the new nano. I have a pair of Motorola Motoroka S9 headphones and have to use the D650 Adapter with it and when I plug into the bottom of the iPod I get "Unsupported" Accessory is not supported. As I know Apple hates to put bluetooth in anything other then iPod Touch & iPhones. What's up with that?? All my other nanos 2nd & 3rd Gens work fine with the adapter......but my current and newest one doesn't. Anyone else having that issue?

How did you reboot the ipod nano 6th gen?
    Two things this thing needs.
    1. Digital / regular watch face combo.
    2. capable bluetooth headphones. Either a plug in add-on to either headphone or multi-pin port. Also a speaker of some sort to tell that an alarm is going off.
I use alarms on my watch.
more watch face designs(digital and analogue) would be awesome.

  • Is there such a thing as a bluetooth headPHONE not headset?

I have had a hard time here in Canada finding a bluetooth headphone that does come with a mike thus making it a headset. Tried Motorola s9hd headset but kept cutting out. Can someone tell me something that works other than online store stuff

  • Bluetooth headphones not working correctly

i have the motorola s805 dj headphones, i have synced them and it worked, however i can not listen to music through the headphones, only the phone works, any suggestions?

This option is not avail yet as it will require a driver for the headset from the iPod section on the phone. I'm sure this will come out real soon, I found this out the hardway, plus the Apple Rep said this would work. I just bought a pair too, to find out they were all wrong.

  • Logitech cordless bluetooth headphones not working with zen to

Anyone else have problems with these only coming through one speaker. Or if there was something I needed to do to fix this.

I don't have any other bluetooth devices. I wish I did that would solve the mystery on if it's the headphones. Update I just messed with the headphone adapter and I hear it in one ear then the other ear only when it's securly in there. If I have it out a little in the middle it catches both speakers sometimes. You think that is the headphones that are defecti've or my second plug in the touch. The reoson I say the second plugin spot is that it works great with simple headphone plugged in.

  • My Apple TV will not stream itunes matched.

iTunes is turned on, matched and works on my iPad, but not on the Apple TV.  When I go to the music part of the menu, There is a message that Apple TV is setting up iTunes match.  It has been this was for many days.  It did take hours for Match to wrok on my Mac.  I've let this run overnight several times.  I play music from my computer when I want music, but shouldn't Match work?

Well, I restarted my Apple TV and it set up matching just fine...don't know what the problem was, but it working now.

  • Bluetooth headphones quit working

bluetooth headphones not playing sound but playbak devices shows connection and sound bar moving. Headphones work perfectly on another bluetooth device.
Phones were working but quit between uses.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.] It is absolutely/appsolutely safe!

  • RAM preview audio will not play through bluetooth headphones

I am using bluetooth headphones (Jaybird Freedom Sprint) to try and edit audio/video in after effects. However, when I go to Preferences>Audio Output Mapping and choose "Freedom Sprint" and click OK, close the preference window, and it will automatically go back to the default "Built in Output" when I open it back up. It will only play the sound through the Mac Pro tower I am using. Is there a way to get the headphone option output to stay permanently?? Is there a reason why it is not staying selected?  Another thing I forgot to mention is that all other sounds work (like iTunes, volume up/down) through the headphones except for the audio RAM preview in After Effects. How can I disable the audio from playing through the tower? Very frustrating!
BTW - the only time headphones actually work is when they are plugged into the tower. These ones obviously can't be plugged in.
    Thanks! (Screenshots provided for help)

Thanks! I definitely did try that first... (trying to find a solution with the headphones). You can't find any info about them online/their website. Regardless though, After Effects will not allow me to play the audio output through any other device except for the Mac Pro tower - even playing it through the LCD Cinema Display won't work.
    Thanks for your reply

  • Playback (Streaming) to bluetooth headphones constantly interrupts

    Hi,
I use a pair of Sennheiser Headphones (MM 450 Travel) connected via Bluetooth to my ipad (Ipad 1st Gen, Wi-Fi 64GB with iOS 4.3.3).
I have absolutely no problem using them with content which is stored on my Ipad, like when I use the iPod application.
However, when I use applications that stream content from the net (such as Tune In, a radio application) or from a server on the local network (like Plex), playback is constantly interrupted. Further investigation revealed that, when Airplay is activated and output is redirected to the Bluetooth headphones, the ipad has trouble buffering from the network. If I disable airplay during playback, the buffer re-starts filling fast, thus confirming it is not a bandwidth problem.
Interruptions can occur every few seconds, or every minute, it is very inconsistent.
I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and if it can be solved somehow.

i also have the exact same issue with my ipad wi-fi 64gig version. sounds like an isolated issue with the 64gig versions only.

  • ITunes refuses to use bluetooth headphone

At first, I didn't realize there is this forum, and posted the following in a forum which is less suitable than this one. So, I copy it here.
I'm bewildered. Consider these three items: The bluetooth setting of Mac OS (the bluetooth icon near the top right corner), a bluetooth headphone, and iTunes. In what order should I switch them on?
First of all, I use the same headphone (S305 of Motorola) with the iPhone 4 and the 6th-gen. iPod Nano without any problems. It doesn't seem to matter which is switched on first.
Now, on my iMac, I experience wierd things. For example,
    1) Switch on the headset.
    2) Bluetooth menu of iMac -> Turn on Bluetooth.
    3) Bluetooth menu of iMac -> S305 -> Use headphones.
After a while, my headset beeps and the Bluetooth
icon of the iMac turns to three dots. (Connection
    established.)
    4) Invoke iTunes. Then, the Bluetooth icon turns back
to the Bluetooth symbol, and music starts to flow
from the buildin speaker. Not from the headset!
    5) Quit iTunes.
    6) Bluetooth menu -> Turn off bluetooth.
    7) Do item (2).
    8) Do item (3).
    9) Do item (4). And then, there is an error pop-up
window, saying that the bluetooth audio failed,
    or somthing to the effect.
    10) Restart the iMac.
    11) Repeat from (1). Then, SOMETIMES, iTunes plays music
    through my headset!
I failed to see any "systematicness". It SOMETIMES works and SOMETIMES fails.
Is there any pattern here? What's the correct order to turn on various things? I ask this, because establishing a Bluetooth connection after starting iTunes SOMETIMES works!
Oh, and I'm sitting right in front of the iMac and the strength of the signal should be very good. When I do a test like the above, I turn off all other Bluetooth signals. (For example, if its Bluetooth is on, my iPhone 4 establishes a connection with my headset before my iMac does so.)
    Ryo

Are these tracks ones that iTunes played successfully before the update? If not, what format are the tracks (MP3, WAV, WMA, etc.)?

  • ITunes plays through bluetooth headphone

Every time I tried play music in iTunes through bluetooth headphone, I had to remove and reconnect the device in System Setting panel. After I pressed the play button, the music just would not play at all, or sometimes there was skipping noise. However, playing sound in web browser worked fine. Quit and restart iTunes seemed to be able to "solve" this issue.

It just dawned on me that you are asking a windows pc-spedific iTunes question.  Bluetooth yes, but windows none-the-less.  I think you would be better off going to the apple forum specifically for windows itunes problems:
    iTunes for Windows

  • Itunes and bluetooth headphones is horrible

I have a really nice pair of rocketfish bluetooth headphones that work great with my iphone...i tried using them with itunes....sound quality was unbearable and all i got was pops and cracks using these headphones with garageband.....Mac needs to do something about this. I have tried using several diff brands of headphones from $50 to $300 same problems. Its obviously not the headphones cause they sound awesome on my phone

I no longer need this questioned answered, haven't used those headphones in the LONGEST time!
