Hello everyone,
Bluetooth not connect my iphone 3G and my mac book pro, how can I fix this?

You can't.
Bluetooth in the iPhone is for internet tethering, bluetooth headsets/headphones and peer to peer games only.
It is not for file transfer between different phones or iPhone to Mac.

Not if it isn't in your itunes library. If you sync with a new computer iTunes will delete all iTunes media (such as music) from your phone and replace it with whatever media is in the new iTunes library. Sounds like that's what happened.

Need major advice-Iphone,Ipad,Mac Book Pro syncing issues

I just purchased Mac Book Pro this weekend and I also have Iphone 4S and Ipad 1..all now with latest software update. I used a hard drive to save my music and photos from my old PC and imported them into Itunes on new Mac....when I sync Iphone it will not transfer any photos or apps that I originally had on my old computer or any new apps that I have downloaded since the purchase of the new computer. Itunes begins to sync, goes through some of the processes then cancels the sync. This is very disappointing being that I bought the Mac Book to have simple and seamless syncing between IPhone, Ipad 1 and Mac.
In addition, when I downloaded the new software to my Ipad 1, it did a hard reset and I lost every app on my Ipad. Someone please help me get these devices working in harmony!!!!!! I'm desperate and pulling my hair out......Thank you in advance!!!

Bluetooth connection with Mac Book Pro

How do I set up a Bluetooth connection with my Mac Book Pro?

I'm trying to set up the Blue Tooth connection so I can use internet tethering from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro. I have already set up the USB option and that works well on my Rogers network. I've achieved Bluetooth paring between the iPhone and MacBook, but I can't get them to connect.
I'm using Snow Leopard, if that makes any difference.
Any ideas?

You wil still need to copy everything from the computer you were using, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
You still haven't said what your issue is.
You open itunes?
You cannect iphone?
You select what you want to sync?
You sync?
What happens?
Error message?

Bluetooth connection between Mac book pro and IPad

Hello,
i am having trouble creating a Bluetooth connection between a Mac book pro running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and a IPad air 2 iOS 8.1.2.
I have managed to pair the devices but when I try to create a connection to transfer data an error message on the Mac comes up saying "Bluetooth network unavailable, make sure device is on, in range and set up properly", similarly if a connection is tried from the iPad an error message comes up saying "make sure the device is on".
Both devices Bluetooth is on and discoverable and i have managed to pair them but can't create a actual connection!
Any help / ideas appreciated?

Bluetooth paring for file transfer is not supported on iPads.
You can use Airdrop if both devices support it, or a 3rd party App, but you cannot directly pair an iPad to a Macbook and transfer a file over the bluetooth connection.

Photos from iPhone to Mac Book pro

I want to copy photos from my i phone 4 to a new Mac Book pro but the Mac only sees the latest picture folder on the i phone and has a 12 month window. I cannot find a way to get the older folders. Have tried i photo and capture. Any suggestions please?

Bluetooth: Not Available mac book pro 15 inch

My Bluetooth has gone missing and when i click on bluetooth file exchanger i get this message: no bluetooh hardware found. In order to use this application, you must have a bluetooth module. please verify that your bluetooth hardware is properly attached to the computer.
Could someone please send me a bluetooth driver down load for a macbook pro 15 inch 2011 or another way to solve my problem.

If your bluetooth service is suddenly not available on your Mac, here is a fix:
01. Click on “Finder” in bottom left of your screen in the Dock
02. Click on your “Home” icon on the left (picture of a house)
03. Double-click on the “Library” folder
04. Double-click on “Preferences” folder
05. Delete file named “com.apple.Bluetooth.plist” (also delete any other item with “com.apple.Bluetooth…”, if any)
06. Shutdown your computer
07. Unplug all USB and Firewire devices
08. Unplug power cord
09. Remove battery (if it’s a Macbook or Macbook Pro)
10. Wait 1-2 min
11. Hold down power button for 10 sec with the battery out (if it’s a Macbook or Macbook Pro)
12. Insert battery (if it’s a Macbook or Macbook Pro)
13. Startup again
14. It should work!

Will we be able to use the Iphone to bridge an internet connection so we may use the lap top like an internet card would permit?

Pictures from iphone to mac book pro

How do I transfer pictures taken on Iphone 4 by syncing the phone or any other way? I want to place pics on my iphone4 to my mac, when i sync i only see choices for computer to phone, not phone to computer.

You can use Image Capture, which is an application included with OS X, to transfer the photos off the phone to the Mac.

Because the iPhone does not support the BlueTooth file transfer profile. The only phone to computer profile supported is for tethering.
