Hi,
iOS does not support printing through Bluetooth connection, you may find any possible bluetooth usage listed below:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
You may print from iPod touch by connecting the printer to the same network as your iPod touch using the HP ePrint mobile app:

You may find the exact steps to print using the app in the following link:

  • Bluetooth iPod touch to iPod touch

I trying to connect 2 iPod Touches(4th gen) of the same model via Bluetooth. But they dont seem to find each other at all. I am able to find other devices(Windows laptop) but not iPod's. Please help. I am developing a Game via Bluetooth using Gamekit

Yes. I do. I am able to find the device when I use the app but when I try to connect, I cannot 'Accept' the connection. I can only 'Decline'. Sometimes if the Accept button does work, I get an error saying device not compatible/not supported. Both are iPod touches of the same exact model with the same iOS running. Also on Bluetooth devices for Apple it sayd this device supports PAN (Personal Area Connection-for Bluetooth)

  • Bluetooth ipod touch and android tablette

i can't put connect my ipod touch and my android tablette togheter with
    bluetooth

That's because the connection probably requires a profile that is not supported by the iPod Touch.  See here for a list of supported profiles.

An iPod does not have the necessary bluetooth profiles to pair with a computer. See:

  • Bluetooth @ iPod Touch Gen4

I am able to switch on my bluetooth from the settings > General > bluetooth.
But, it is forever searching for devices, and it seems that the bluetooth function is not work. I tried using my mobile phone (Samsumg Jet) to detect my iPod Touch Gen 4's bluetooth, but the connection failed.
May I know how do I activate the bluetooth function in my iPod Touch Gen 4?

The bluetooth on you iPod touch is really only allowed to do three things:
    1. Connect to bluetooth stereo headphones to play music wirelessly.
    2. Conncect to other iPods or iPhone to play multiplayer games or file-sharing within the same app.
    3. Connect to bluetooth keyboards.
That's pretty much it, it won't find your phone, or you can't use it to share files with your computer..

  • HT204387 Why can I not detect my iPod touch on my ipad Bluetooth search

I am trying to search my Bluetooth iPod touch gen 5 on my ipad3 I cannot find it. Please help.

Bluetooth on iOS devices is used to connect certain keyboards, speakers and headphones. It is not set up to connect two iOS devices together except for a few limited thing like photo beaming in iPhoto for iOS.

  • Why the iPod Touch does not support GPS Bluetooth Reciever

Why the iPod Touch does not support Bluetooth GPS.
I had to make a jailbreak justto install and use roqyBT a Bluetooth GPS receiver,
This aplication run witch these software:
    TomTom
    Navigon
    iGO
    Maps
    Google Earth
    Around me
And run wich several receives as iBT 747, QSTARZ Q-1000, Holux M-1000 and my Nokia LD-3W.
But I didn´t like to use Jailbreak, I only make the jailbreak to use a GPS bluetooth.

Ipod touch supports bluetooth for stereo headsets/speakers and some peer to peer apps from the app store.
Why is not a question that can be answered here.
    Only Apple would know.

  • Voice memo playback low volume, ipod touch 4th gen bluetooth

After recording a voice memo on my ipod touch 4th gen.  I play it back on my bluetooth JBL flip.  Now when I playback sound levels are sometimes extremely quiet, and other times play at normal volume.  Volume on Ipod touch and JBL flip will be maxed out and still volume playback are extremely quiet.  I have tried turning off and on Ipod and not found anything work consistently at solving this issue.

Do you have a Phone? In your case i would save some money for an iPhone. Like i am doing now - i also got a 4G iPod.
Anyways if you really wanna go for another iPod, take the 5G now. The 5G is a big update from the 4G and Apple released it last year, so i think that the 6G will come in 2014.

  • I am trying to download an app for my ipod touch, but its not showing up in the app store. Its the icess app for controlling a bluetooth helicopter

I recently got my daughter an iCess RC helicopter. It works via bluetooth and can be used with Apple and Android devices. She has a ipod touch, but when trying to do a search for "iCess" in the app store, nothing comes up. It shows up on my PC in the itunes store, but how do I get it on the ipod touch or its apps store?
Also having the same problem when trying to locate the app with my iPad and its app store. I got it installed on one of my android devices via the Google Play store so I know its there & works. Any ideas or suggestion on what is going on here with the iPod and iPad app stores?

The RC helicopter's directions say its available in the App store for Apple and here it is in the iTunes store:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icess/id558793179?mt=8 (released on 6/19/2013)
How do I get this to show up on my iPad and/or iPod touch app stores so I can then download and install it as needed?

  • How many devices can you connect on your IPOD touch 4th gen with bluetooth

I have a 4th Generation Ipod touch.  currently using (2) UE Boom wireless speakers to connect via BLuetooth  (2.1+EDR)
Is it possible to , say add another 2 speakers,  so in tandem all 4 would connect ?
Speakers are Logitech (UE Boom wireless)

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way around this limitation.  I take it 2 sets x 2 won't work.

  • How can i connect my ipod touch to my 27inch iMac via bluetooth?

I just bought a new 27inch iMac and i have an iPod Touch (one just before they came out with iPods with cameras).
What is the step by step procedure to connect these 2 devices via bluetooth? Or is that even possible? Bluetooth is already activated on the iPod.

You don't.  This is not and has never been a feature of ipod.  Sorry.
Bluetooth is for stereo headsets/speakers and some peer-to-peer apps from the app store.
Not the news you wanted.  Sorry.

  • I'd like to connect my ipod touch (3rd generation) to my ipad2, but I don't see each other through bluetooth. What should I do?

    Hi,
I am trying to connect an iPod touch 3rd (ios 5.1.1) generation to control my KEYNOTE's presentations in my iPad2 (ios 6.1.3). I activated bluetooth in both but they do not see each other. Is there any specific procedure to allow the connection or it is a problem of compatibility between versions of ios?
    I appreciate any input.

iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth ON.
iPad: Go to Settings > General > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth.
On the iPad running Keynote, open your Keynote presentation.
Tap the Tools icon in the toolbar.
In the Tools menu, tap Settings.
In the Settings menu, tap Remote.
In the Remote Settings menu, turn on Enable Remotes.
On the iPhone, open the Keynote Remote app.
In the iPhone Settings window, tap New Keynote Link.
On the iPad, the name of the iPhone appears in the Remote Settings window; tap Link.
On the iPad, enter the four digit number that is displayed on the iPhone, and then tap Done.
iPhone: Open the Keynote Remote app. You can begin to control your slideshow from your iPhone by tapping Play Slideshow.

  • My 5th Gen iPod touch does not keep time and the bluetooth will not turn on. Full restore did not fix.

Recently my 5th generation iPod Touch stopped keeping time. As long as the screen stays on, it will stay accurate, but once it "sleeps" the time reverts to the last accurate time it had. If I go to Settings>General>Date&Time> and turn Set Automatically off and on, it will catch up, but just for as long as the screen stays on. Not too friendly for battery life that way. Also, maybe unrelated, the Bluetooth function will not turn on. When I try to turn it on, I just get a constant spinning wheel.
I have tried everything from a simple restart to a full device wipe back to factory default. No change. I took it in to the Genius bar this afternoon. They tried a diagnostic and another wipe. Then they said they didn't know and I could pay $150 to replace it. Not a bad deal, but not what I wanted to hear.
    Any ideas?

    All I can suggest is
Try DFU mode and then restore again to factory settings/new iPod

  • IPod touch 4g skips music on bluetooth

I have a new iPod touch 4th Gen with iOS6.1.3 and bought it to play music in my car, a 2011 Toyota Aurion (Camry) with a standard Toyota audio system which has bluetooth. I also have an iPhone 4 using iOS 5.1.1 - there is no issue at all playing music through the car audio with the iPhone nor any other device I have other than the iPod.
The problem is with my iPod touch. I have synced it to my car's audio but when I start to play music it will skip for a while and settles down and it seems ok. Sometimes it never settles down and other times I wait for a few minutes before I press play and everything is OK. If I only have a 10 minute drive half of that time I spend trying to get the ipod working properly. The iPod works perfectly with the audio if I use the 3.5mm plug but I lose most steerng wheel controls as they work only with bluetooth, other than volume.
I have re-paired it several times, done phone resets, etc. but nothing changes. From what I've read it seems to be an iOS 6 issue and others have managed to fix this by updating their car audio's bluetooth. I don't think there is an update for the Toyota audio system.
Any other ideas? It is FRUSTRATING buying a new device only for it not to work 100%. Everything else om the iPod works as it should.
Would appreciate possitive assistance with this. Thanks.

    Hello Ramjet7,
Congratulations on your new iPod touch!  It is definitely frustrating when you cannot get the full use of a new device.
I found an article that has some tips for troubleshooting Bluetooth connectivity with third-party devices including car kits.  I recommend reviewing the sections titled "Intermittent iOS-to-Bluetooth accessory connectivity" and "Cannot connect to a paired device" in the following article:
