Hello
Have you installed Bluetooth Filter Driver Package?
It must be installed before you start Bluetooth Stack installation.
Can you please post exact notebook model number?

I think I've upgraded all th way from Version 7.

There is no problem. If no previous, activated software is detected on the system, the upgrade installer will simply revert to its secondary mode and request to input the old serial in a second step for verification. Unless you do some exotic crossgrade/ sidegrade stuff, this should work with no problems whatsoever.

  • Keyframe caddy isn't installing properly

I'm new to Flash and most of the tutorials that I've seen say to download the Keyframe Caddy to help with animating. I downloaded it and followed all of the steps including closing the Flash program. When I opened it up again, it wasn't there. So I tried using the alternate Extensions Manager to install it. However that keeps asking me to update my Flash player to 12 to 13.99 inclusively. There isn't anyway for me to do this either as I have tried it. Is there anyway for me to either download Keyframe Caddy, or another way for me to animate using a Flash puppet?

it depends on what version of Flash you're using too... If you're using CS6 you need the .mxp version but if you're using CC you need the .zxp version. Also in CC the extensions are not where they were in any previous version of Flash. they're actually in the extensions folder under Window but in CS6 they're under Other Panels so you might be looking in the wrong place.

after the complete installation of Labview 7express (FDS),the instrument I/O assistant does not work. An error mesage pops up saying that the assistant is not completely installed and that labview 7 should be installed prior to the assistant and that I should reinstall the assistant. I tried to reinstall the I/O assistant directly from the device driver reference CD but it has no effect. What could I do to have the assistant installed correctly ? ( I tried under windows xp same problem)

  • PS CS6 64bit New Install Freezes on Opening on New Win7 64bit Workstaton

    Hello All,
Just installed CS6 on my new workstation and Photoshop; it freezes upon opening.
Every other program I have installed has worked flawlessly, including the rest of the CS6 Suite and Lightroom 5.
Both Windows and the Adobe Suite have all available updates already installed.
Computer is a new HP Z420 Xeon Workstation, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, 16GB Ram
    Thanks for any help

    Solved!
I was able to get ahold of someone at Adobe who had just faced this problem with another customer a few days ago and discovered the cure mainly by accident.
On some computers, with a brand new install, the "Help Adobe Products" dialog box opens up and then the application opens on top. The application is frozen waiting for the user to click to answer the dialog box but it is hidden in the background where the user can not see it. To solve the problem, the user needs to click on the PS icon at the bottom left of the screen. This causes a drop down to appear and the user can click on the "Help Adobe Products" dialog box, bringing it to the top where it can then be answered. Once it is answered, it does not appear again so, from then on, Photoshop opens normally.
This was one of those problems I could have spent a heck of alot of hours trying to resolve. Luckily I got ahold of the right person at Adobe.

  • Canot install recovery image on Satellite L775-140

    Hi everyone,
I have a Satellite L775-140. I decided to restore my notebook to factory settings so Ive created 4 CDs using preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator tool.
However, when I put the first CD, after a few minutes, there was a error:
    diskpart successfully formatted the volume.
    copy files recovery bases
    htmprep ...
    boot ...
establishment file error - data error (cyclic redundancy check)
error: copying of files based recovery failed!
press any key to continue. . .
What to do? Knowing that I have these recovery CDs, is there a way around how to install it?
Could anyone help me? Generally speaking I have several problems but I have not found an answer or find the same situation as me.
    Thank you for your help

    Hi
    > error: copying of files based recovery failed!
The problem seems to appear while copying the files from disk to HDD.
I think Dr. Lamp might be right: either its a problem with the recovery cd or HDD.
    Solution proposal:
You have to find out the troublemaker. In your case I would recommend you to boot from another disk (Microsoft Windows disk or maybe Linux) just to check if the HDD is OK.
You can also check the HDD using the Open Source software called Gparted.
    http://gparted.org/liveusb.php
Create USB live CD and boot the notebook. This tool allows you to check the HDD and to manage the partitions.
In case the HDD is OK, the created recovery disk could be faulty and this would require new recovery disks. If you cannot create the disk again, there is an website where you could order such medium from Arvato http://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Itunes not Installed Properly, Repaired and no luck.

Hi. I haven't been able to create a CD for about 2 years now. I searched through these forums and found other ways of Repairing the Itunes program and have had no luck. I've repaired through downloading Itunes again, when Menu pops up, I choose to Repair ( too afraid to uninstall, and lose data). That finishes and I re-open Itunes, and still receive the same message ( Itunes not installed properly, you cannot burn/import a CD). I saw on a post on this forum about repairing it through my Windows Control Program ( Add / Remove) - did that, thought it worked out but did not. Do I need to restart my computer for changes to occur ? I also ran the itunes Diagnostics and these are my results.
Also, I see that it states I'm not the Adminstrator..... I am ?

    Hello Craz4Sk8erGuy
If you uninstall iTunes, you will not lose any data if you uninstall iTunes, the iTunes database file will not be removed. Check out the article below on how to completely uninstall iTunes and its associating services. Also, I found an article for burning issues with Sony burners as well.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Satellite L775-119 - Upgrade with blu-ray drive?

Had my L775-119 for a few weeks, and it's going great, really pleased but am just wondering if it's possible, sometime in the future to upgrade the DVD RW Drive to a Blu ray re-writer?

    Hello
Im not Satellite L775 owner but I think it should be possible because some L770/L775 models are delivered with blu-ray drive so generally speaking it seems that the notebook support such drives.
But you can get an exact answer from an authorized service provider. The guys can order a compatible drive for you and install it if you are not familiar with notebook part exchange.
Do you know how to contact an authorized service provider?

  • Flash Player installer isn't displaying properly in Win7 - how to fix?

I'm running a new installation of 64-bit Win7 with IE11 (seems to be a 32-bit IE).  I'm trying to install Flash Player but the install screen isn't working properly.
It looks fine until I get to the bit where I choose my update option, and then when I click Next I get a standard oblong dialogue box, inside which is a shallow oblong near the top, delineated by a red line.  Inside the red line are two tiny boxes, one at top left and one at top right each of which contains the X which indicates failure to find or to display an image.
Above the box at top left is written "Adobe Flash Player: Warning".  Along the bottom, centre and right, are written "Skip Install" and "Retry".  These last two items are clickable hot-links: the other features are not, so I have no way to read whatever the warning is.
Any ideas on how I can get the installer to work?

OK ta.  Well, the Adobe document upload doesn't work for me - it shows me as signed in but there's no upload button.  So I;ve swtuck them on one of my webpages.  The fact that ADM.trace has file size 0 rather suggests that it hasn't worked, though.
I forgot to say that if I click Retry it shows "Adobe Flash Player: connecting" but then sticks on 0%

  • "Bluetooth module not installed" when it really is

Got a friend calling me. His iBook G4 uses the wireless mighty mouse and obviously uses Bluetooth. It has always worked. Today, the little Bluetooth icon isn't in the top corner. In the system settings, he gets an error saying the module isn't installed. I read somewhere that resetting the SMC can help, so I told him to take all the cables out, take the battery out, hold the power button for 5 seconds, then get it all back on again. No difference.
Is there anything iBook specific we can do to get it working again? Any advice?
It's either Panther or Tiger he is using. Probably Tiger.
    Thanks!

When you match up the correct series of iBook you have there, with the instruction
set from the line-up in this support document, then apply them, it may work OK.
Resetting PowerBook and iBook Power Management Unit (PMU)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431?viewlocale=en_US
The PPC computer in question does not have a System Management Controller (SMC.)
Depending on the build year information, processor series and configuration options,
you should be able to identify the iBook model adequately to apply the right process.
The 'mid-2005' last model of iBook G4 (1.33/1.42GHz) has the wireless module on
the logic board and that unit contains both the wi-fi 802.11/g and the bluetooth; so
if it happens to have failed, the computer has to be taken apart by a pro to fix it.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Cable drivers installed properly?

I have read the cableconnection problems on this forum, that people including me get the errormessage "unrecognized usb device".
We try every method but no success.
So I am thinking that the drivers may not be installed properly, and when I look at the inf-files in the ...nokia\connectivity cable driver - folder I assume that the sys-files in that folder should be in the windows\system32\drivers folder.
But I don´t see those sys-files in the ..system32\drivers folder, so maybe there was a problem autoinstalling the drivers.
Maybe we need to manually install the drivers. Any ideas or suggestions what to do?

I want you to know that since you cant get it done through ovi suite, then you are to get your nokia PC suit by:- firstly you are to open your nokia pc suit, then click on the connect a phone, then you click on the cable connection OR if your laptop has a bluetooth, then you open your laptop bluetooth and then you on your phone bluetooth to connect to the pc suite. It will connect automatically  and the other way as soon as you click on the cable connection then click next to connect the device,On your phone then choose pc suite so as to connect immediately............
Do it these way an i tell you it will work and also the OVI suite will connect directly from there...I use nokia 5230! So try it and see..
