Bluetooth light wont go off

I have disabled the bluetooth on my a310 ideacentre as i use a wired keyboard and mouse, The problem is when i disable the bluetooth the light on the monitor stays on? how do i get it to turn off, When i disable to WLAN that light goes off?

hey matt28781,
just to be sure,
1. bluetooth disabled, bluetooth indicator light is still on
2. wifi disabled, both wifi and bluetooth lights goes off
... if this is the case, might i suggest uninstalling the current bluetooth driver and let windows install its generice drivers.
then see if there is any changes with the bluetooth indicator light. Late on go to - http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=958447
download the bluetooth driver and install it. Try again

  • Lumia 1020 focus assist light wont turn off

lumia 1020 focus assist light wont turn off. i've done a hard reset and a soft reset. ive also drained the battery but the little round light continues to be turned on .
i checked and it looks like ive still got warranty from nokia. will they still honour the warranty if ive updates the software?

I have the same problem, I tested everything, hard reset, soft reset, using recovery tool to back to Cyan version, still the light is ON..  what is tyhe problem, it is ridicolous that Microsoft/ Nokia do not give an answer to this problem as many users have the same problem........

Hi, alekswithkz. Just to verify, when you say hard reset, do you mean: Settings>About>Reset? If yes, you can try to download and use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool before considering sending the phone for repair.

Note: The link is from Nokia US. If you are in another country, feel free to download the app from your local Nokia website.
If the issue remains, it's best to have it examined by an authorized Nokia technician. This will also determine if the repair will be covered under warranty. Warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please bring your receipt for warranty verification.

  • N80 - Bluetooth light not switching off

    Hi
Just got my new N80. I paired it with my laptop. It works fine. However, the Bluetooth light keeps blinking although I have turned off Bluetooth and also made the phone "Hidden". I would like to turn the light off completely since, possibly, it would eat away the battery charge. Appreciate your help.
    Imtiaz

    Hi imtiaz
There isn't a Bluetooth light on the N80. The light I think you're referring to (top left, just under the N80 logo) is a sleep indicator. It just shows that the phone is still powered when the display has gone off.
If you want to turn it off Tools; Settings; Phone; Display; Sleep mode = OFF.
Be warned though... sleep mode off means that the display will not go to sleep, and the battery drain will be greater than having the flashing led.

I just got a BB 8900 and everytime I recieve a message the led light blinks but when I check the message it goes solid and then wont shut off. I can still function the phone but I really wont that light to go off because its annoying...any suggestions?

Try to reset your handset by just removing the battery and reinsert.

  • Focus assist light wont turn off

This is the second time this has happene d and I am really frustrated.  I placed my new Nokia 1020 in an arm carrier while at the gym and at the end of the workout, the focus assist light was on and I could not turn it off. The pressure of the spandex sleeve must have cuased some buttons to be pressed in some odd series or something.
To solve the problem I performed a soft reset, a hard reset, let the battery completely run out, and the light was still on.  I finally gave up and returned it to the store for a replacement.  I got a new phone and had the same problem occur today.  So it is my fault for making the same mistake twice, but I had a Nokia 920 for two years and placed in the same carrier hundreds of times with no problem.
Does anyone know how i can resolve this?  I really love my Nokia phone, but am going to abandon the platform if this does not get resolved easily.  My wireless carrier is a nightmare to deal with on issues like this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Same happened to my sons Lumia. The light was on for 6 months until he finally smashed it up at a party (accidentally). And the problem was due to moisture. Happened when he was camping.

  • Camera light wont turn off on macbook

I turned my laptop on this morning and the glowing green light next to the built in camera was on. There are no applications or websites that use a camera open. I restarted it but the light is still on. How do I turn it off and why might it be on?

Click your Apple  top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click Shut Down.  (Do not click Restart)
Wait about ten seconds then startup your Mac as you normally would be pressing the power button.
Then see if the camera light is still on.

  • Light wont turn off

Hi - my Iphone torch has been on for hours I have reset the phone, turned it off, completely wiped all info on it and its still on? Any suggestions?

Hi I tried that but eventually contacted customer support who went through many resets and eventually restoring factory settings - light still wouldn't turn off so I have been to the Apple store who replaced the handset!  Although, they did go through the whole procedure again even though I had a case number saying the phne was to be replaced.  Thanks for the reply.

  • Blinking red light wont go off

When I receive a message in the middle of the night and check my phone in the morning, the red light will continue to blink even after reading any messages and deleting them. The only way the I have found to get the light to go out is to turn the phone off, of send myself a message and open it right away. I have tried rebooting the phone numerous times and it continues to do the same thing.

    I had this same problem
Try downloading LED reset application. I can't remember for sure where I found it, I think it was on crackberry.com  If not you could try searching google.

When I first got my h8-1260t you could turn off the Bluetooth light by turning off the adapter.  Now with the adapter off the Bluetooth light on the front stays blue.  How can I get this light to go off when the adapter is turned off?
Kind of disconcerning to see the light on when you know the Bluetooth adapter is off.
