Bluetooth loses Connectivity ios8.1
Im having an issue like others have had however my iPhone 6 has lost the ability to connect to my Vw GLI with an rcd-510 headunit. This is not a head unit issue because on day one of the phone with 8.0 8.02 and now no connectivity with 8.1.... I have tried to reset the phones network settings, did a full restore , deleted all profiles, chased the ghosts on I cloud and did s clean reinstall of 8.1 to no avail... I cannot downgrade to 8.02 due to the baseband being changed with 8.1 so it seems.
what should I do? Return the phone to the Apple Store or sprint and try another? To clarify I can connect the phone for about 2 minutes to the car before it locks up the car and stops streaming audio and I lose the ability to make a call. I was able to connect a friends 4s with 7.1 to the car and for over 20 minutes no issue.
is is there any hope for 8.1.1??? Very very frustrating since it worked up until 8.1

MacBook Pro loses connection with Bluetooth Headphones
Hi,
Every time I turn off my bluetooth headphones and then turn them back on, my mid-2009 MBP loses connection with them and forces me to re-pair them. It comes up with an error where the only option is "Stop using headphones" - does anyone know a solution to this?
My headphone are Sony DR-BT101.
JamieSame problem here... With Mac OS Lion. Any solution to this?

HT201205 Bluetooth loses signal and will not re-connect
I occasional go out of range with my Bluetooth and lose connectivity. When I am back in range my Bluetooth will not reconnect and I have to manually turn off Bluetooth in settings and switch my Platronics M 50 off then turn both back on to pair the device.
A second issue is that if I manually hang up the phone call my ITunes begins to play the next song. I use a 6+ software is up to date. I have tried the network re-set and it is still having problems.Since you have already upgraded the firmware on your Router, Have you resetted your Router and Re-Configured all the settings back on your Router? If not then Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router....
If your Internet Service Providor is Cable follow this link
If your Internet Service Providor is DSL follow this link
When you re-configure all the settings on your Router, You need to change some settings under the Wireless Part of your Router...
Set the Wireless Channel on your Router to 11-2.462GHz and let the SSID Broadcast should be Enable...
Then click on the Sub tab under Wireless "Advance Wireless Settings" and Change the Beacon Interval to 75 ...Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304 Change the RTS Threshold to 2307 ...Click on "Save Settings"...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect... -
Bluetooth constantly loses connectivity
My mac mini is constantly losing bluetooth connectivity. I have an apple wireless keyboard and trackpad and non-apple bluetooth speakers. They will all lose connectivity at random times but the most annoying is the speakers. It can take 5-10 times removing them and re-connecting before they work properly the keyboard and trackpad will usually, though not always, connect by using the on/off button. But this is most annoying. I have reset my airport extreme as per suggested but this did not help. I have removed my wireless telephone from my desk thinking it might be interfering, but nope didn't make a difference. I thought Apple was less bothersome than Windows but this doesn't seem to be the case for me! Any help would be appreciated! Lori

My wireless mouse often loses connection. I replace batteries and it works for a few days before becoming problematic again. Battery currently shows 100% and connection is lost intermittently. Bluetooth is on and wireless keyboard works. Any suggestions?
Is it possible that you have a bad bunch of batteries?
My Magic Mouse on one computer and the Mighty Mouse on another use batteries I bought through the Apple store (with a charger). They last a long time.

Another possiblity is that the mouse is defective. Since the keyboard connects, it has to be the mouse or the batteries. -
Remote app on iPad connects to iTunes but then loses connection.
Hi,
Basically, I can get the app on my iPad to connect to iTunes, but if I then start doing something else on my iPad, or my computer goes to sleep, then the remote won't connect again. Even if I wake my macbook and try to connect it again.
If I press 'add an iTunes library' in the remote app, nothing appears on iTunes.
To solve the problem, I have to restart my computer.
I just checked to see if my iPhone connects and it worked straight away. Maybe its a problem with my iPad?
Can anyone suggest anything?
OscarI too have this problem and made it worse. Under Mavericks and iOS7 everything set up very easily and worked beautifully like Apple stuff usually does. Then a couple of weeks ago I took the dive and updated to Yosemite, iTunes 12 and iOS8 and then I would occasionally lose connection with my iTunes library as described by the second poster. Very aggravating. So I made a bigger mistake and deleted the library from my iPad Remote app and whenever I started it up again it would say 'Add a device'. I clicked and a randomly generated 4 digit number appears with the exact instructions: 'To add an iTunes library, open iTunes on your computer and choose Remote from the tab bar'. I went to iTunes and searched EVERYWHERE for this Remote tab bar and could not find it. I then went to iTunes Preferences: Devices and clicked the button 'Forget All Remotes' thinking this may reset something in iTunes and make the Remote tab appear somehow to start from scratch. Wrong! Now there is absolutely no connection between the Remote app on my devices and iTunes on my computer.
Can anyone point me to this Remote tab in iTunes?? If I can find that then I think I should be able to fix this.
Geez, talk about effing up what should be (and was) a very simple app. -

Recently my Mac has been waking up very slow. It runs all applications slowly when I first start using it. It seems to be better after that. My mouse also loses connectivity several times a day, even with new batteries. Not sure if that is related. When I try to restart it Safari often won't close even when I force it.
I ran Etrecheck and this was the result.

Mighty Mouse loses connection since 10.6.8 update
Hi I have recently installed the 10.6.8 OSX upgrade in preparations for the Lion release and I am having problems with Mighty Mouse losing connection.
Basically the mouse operates fine until the mouse is static whereby it loses connection, I then have to wiggle the mouse around and click the mouse to regain connectivity, if the mouse remains still for even a second it just drops again.
I have tried changing batteries, removing both my mouse and keyboard from the bluetooth preferences, adding them as favourites as well as doing the PRAM and SMC resets.
I only assume the problem is linked with 10.6.8 update because prior to this update the mouse was working without a hitch.
My keyboard appears to be working without the same problem.
Any suggestions?
ThanksI encountered the same problem as you report after the upgrade to 10.6.8 on both my family's MacBook Pros. I had no problem with my MM up to that point. Thereafter, the MM would not work I went thru' the same steps as you did to try and overcome the problem. It pairs OK and says it is connected but the MM will not work. If you switch off the MM, a message is received "Connection Lost". The keypad mouse works as does an USB mouse, but no MM despite numerous attempts at resetting, clearing, replacing batteries, bluetooth reset, etc.. I am as baffled as you were and put the fault down to the SL upgrade, but I suppose the upgrade may (somehow) have blown the MM, but it still lights up and says it is connected!!. WEIRD!

I have an iMac (Mid 2010) and am running 0sx 10.8.5 and the WiFi always loses connection during sleep mode. I have seen numerous different solutions none of which seem to work. Can anyone help?
Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Make sure the network is on the preferred list by following these instructions. It's important to read the article carefully, as it's the starting point for any further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any of the steps, the problem may not be solved. Make sure the box marked
Remember networks this computer has joined
is checked.
2. Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading
Symptom: After restarting or waking from sleep, my computer might not connect to the Internet
3. Reset the PRAM.
4. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
5. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
6. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
7. Repair permissions on the startup volume.
8. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
9. Reset the System Management Controller.
10. This step shouldn't be necessary, but has been advised by Apple Support in some cases, apparently as a workaround for a bug. Open the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences. If applicable, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner to unlock the settings. Enter your administrator login password when prompted.
Select the Power Adapter tab and uncheck the boxes marked
Wake for Wi-Fi network access
and
Enable Power Nap...
if present. Then, if the computer is a MacBook, select the Battery tab and uncheck
Enable Power Nap...
11. Reinstall OS X. -

my magic mouse lose (bluetooth) connection no and then. It reconneccts in a minute or so.
What's wrong?
Regards
/StefanThere's already a thread on this with almost the same title:
Magic Mouse Loses Connection
One idea (discussed in that thread) is that not all batteries are created equal in that the positive terminal varies in size among different brands and "flatter" ones are not making contact all the time. One solution was to add a little ball of aluminum foil between the negative size (I assume) to take up the "slack". -
My apple mouse and Macally keyboard drop connection via bluetooth while being used. KB is difficult to connect. Clicking "connect" (Sys Pref/BT/Macally). Is there a problem with Imac and bluetooth?
I am running into the same issue. Ever since I updated my OS to Lion (now on 10.7.4), my iMac will periodically lose connection to all my Bl;ueTooth devices - Apple Wireless Mouse (Magic Mouse), Apple Wireless Keyboard, and Apple Wireless Trackpad.
Often happens after I don't use the Mac for a while and then I am trying to wake it up. (I can plug a Logitech Wireless mouse/keyboard into the USB port and I can use those, but I can not re-establish connection to the Apple wireless Keyboard, mouse, trackpad)
I have been able to re-establish connection after I reboot, however I never had this issue when I was on the pervious version of the OS.
I have a 24-inch iMac from 2008, 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM.
Any ideas?
