Bluetooth mouse battery run out in 1 day

hey can someone please explain to me why does my batteries for the wireless mouse run out in one day? i don't get it so please explain it to me thank you
Carl

What sort of batteries are you using, Carl? I'd strongly recomment something like 2500mAh NiMh rehargeable Energizers.
Regular old fashioned carbon zinc batteries (often called "heavy duty") will last very little time. Alkalines will be better, but expensive and still fairly short lived. Lithiums are good, but stop performing before they are really depleted (though you can extend their life by then using them in something else) , and cost a lot. NiMH rechargeable is really the way to go with BT mice and keyboards.

  • Battery running out in one day!

Ok, my battery on my phone literally discharges in about 16 hours every day. When I use my phone I can literally see percents going down one by one every couple minutes. If I leave it for a while and turn it back on to check it half an hour later the battery went down 2-4%!! I work in a big building and have pretty bad reception inside of it but I feel like I have the same problem when I drive to work and when I am at home, though it might be better. The battery just DRAINS for no reason. I have Stamina on and it does absolutely nothing. I don't play game for hours on end or anything yet the power management tells me that it's is all the display pretty much. I feel like my battery is a dud or something.
Also, last night I took it into the shower for the first time and it died for the night until this morning (wouldn't turn on/charge/red light blinking when mini usb plugged in), my front camera has condensation on it too. I posted a topic on it but I feel like it got deleted because I cant find it anymore. I am not very satisfied with this phone lately. I like the speed but it seems to have a bad battery aswell as not very shower proof.
Anyways, where is my 2 day battery life? Is it because of my bad reception? My dad has the same phone and his seems to hold up much better than mine. I might just take his to work with me and have them do the same thing for 20 minutes and see if the battery life is different on either one of ours. It's frustrating. Help?

Having a bad signal can cause your battery to drain quicker and even if Stamina mode is on the network signal isn't cut off and so will still use battery - Having mobile data or wifi etc switched on will also contribute - However what you could do to test this theory is turn on Airplane mode and see if you notice a difference

  • Keyboard and trackpad unresponsive after computer is woken from sleep or battery runs out

I am having problems after my battery runs out completely or when I open my macbook  a day later with the battery charged. If my battery runs out, after I plug it in and turn it on, the first thing that appears is the login page and there is a dark grey background instead of my normal blurred background, and the user picture is shifted to the right. After I enter my password a small white bar at the bottom loads and my normal login page loads, but this time my keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. I have to wait for the display to go to sleep, close my macbook and then open it for my keyboard and trackpad to work. Sometimes I have to repeat this process more than once. The same thing happens when I wake up my computer with full battery after a nights sleep, and instead of being able to wake it up just by opening the lid I have to turn it on with the power button. Please help I know this isn't normal behavior. I have already reset the SMC and PRAM with no success and this problem was there before and after I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite.
    Thanks

if any one ever has this problem, i figured it out. you have to reset the PRAM AND NVRAM. to do so...
hold down the command+option+P+R keys before starting the computer and wait for 2 start up tones. done and done.

  • Trackpad gestures freezes after battery runs out

I have noticed very annoying problem with my macbook pro. Everytime when the battery runs out trackpads finger gestures freezes and only one finger using + scrolling with two works but nothing with three or four fingers. Also the mouse acceleration like shuts down. Only way to make the trackpad working again is to reboot the computer.
I have also tried deepsleep widget and the problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with the hibernation but with the battery life ending.
Does anyone have a same problem and any way to fix it without rebooting the computer?

No I mean when the battery really runs out and computer goes to sleep and then the blinking light stops blinking and computer goes to hibernate mode.

  • Battery runs out very quicky in iOS 4.0.1

    Hello dear supporters.
i'm new here (thats my first messege :)) but i do know a thing or 2 about using the iphone.
(i support all day long in an israeli support forum.)
But I do have a problem:
I've updated to iOS 4.0.1 and since then, the battery runs out so quickly, even in stand by mode i lose about 20% in 3-4 hours.
when i serf on safari and app store, wifi or 3G, i lose like 15% in 30-60 minutes or so.
the same thing when i talk on the phone, listen to music, play games etc.
i've talked to some other guys, they were on 4.0.1 and they downgraded to 4.0 but they still have the same battery problems just like i have. the same problems.
in the other hand, guys who are on 4.0 and didn't update, don't suffer from any battery problems what so ever...
    my question is this:
is there any problem in 4.0.1 that leaves a "mark" on the iphone that makes the battery get a little bit hot and run out quickly?
    is there any good solution?
iphone 3GS's, some are jailbroken and some are not...

Me and my friend came to a conclusion and we think that there's a bug in 4.0.1 that makes the modem work 300% harder and therefor the battery runs out quickly, and as you know, modem cannot be downgraded, and yet there's no new modem. So every one who updated to 4.0.1 even for 1 minute is stuck right now with a modem that uses the battery in a bad way.
(maybe it's connected to the signal appearance update in 4.0.1...)
What do you all think people?

Your battery is running quickly because your cellular data connection is weak.

  • Satellite L850 - after 1 year of usage battery runs out quickly

Hi, through programs such as care or BatteryBar battery battery I see a Toshiba Satellite L850 *battery wear from 48%* currently. I notice that playing a game the battery runs out quickly, as the warm up by a lot, and often descalibra and behaves erratically.
The laptop is a year old. Is it normal for the battery to wear so much in so little time?
Would you accept a guarantee or battery replacement can claim wear caused by misuse?

First of all you have to know that battery working time depends on the notebook usage.
Running heavy performance applications like a game would discharge the battery much quickly. Why? Because parts like GPU and CPU and cooling modules run at highest performance and this needs power.
Also using the notebook with highest display brightness would discharge the battery faster.
You should also know that every battery would start to loose own performance after about 500 charging cycles. This is nothing unusual and will happen to all batteries.
To avoid or to slow down this process, its recommended to calibrate the battery from time to time.
Calibrating means charging and discharging the battery fully.
Charge the battery until it would be fully charged, then disconnect the AC adaptor and keep the battery discharging until its fully empty. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times in the row.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!
All of your help is much appreciated, thanks

  • After the battery run out my iPad turns off

My iPad turns off when the battery run out. Then I plug-in it for recharging. iPad start with Appel sight then switch off again. Then again start with Appel and off again. So it is not stoping on/off and not recharging. The USB cord is good, other devices recharging properly. That to do?

Plug your iPad into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.
