  • Help with Logitech V470 Bluetooth Mouse connecting to Thinkpad T510

    Hi, Guys
I received my T510 a few days ago. And I originally throught they did not put Bluetooth on my machine.
I called them this morning and got that you have to press FN+F5 to enable Bluetooth.
So, I did that, but stll, I can't get my V470 bluetooth mouse connected to it ?
    Things I have tried:
01 latest software from Logitech website, Windows 7 64 Bit
02 Original driver/software came with the mouse
    They both do not work.
I wonder if there is any one having the same issue, or any Lenovi staff could help you out ?
    Thanks.

  • After Bluetooth Mouse connect it directly disconnect

    Hi community,
i am a new mac user and i love it, but now i got my first problem i can't resolve.
I have a bluetooth mouse, which worked for about a month very well. But since today it dosen't work anymore.
After i start my Mac (Bluetooth is turned on) and then i activte the mouse. My MBA told me that the mouse is found and shows that the mouse is connected via bluetooth but a seconed later the mouse is disconnected.
I tried to deactivate the wlan but the same result.
I don't understand that because approximately for the first everything works fine.
I hope anyone can give me a hint to solve that problem.

I've never come across this, even when using BT mice, where the system continued to think it was connected. This is not to say it can't happen although I find it a little weird that it is.
Anyway, I would first try re-pairing the BT MM. Failing that, I guess you can disable BT as an alternative. If BT isn't on it can't think that there's a mouse connected there. Finally, I always kept a really cheap USB mouse at home and office for these type of situations.

  • Bluetooth mouse connection without pushing "connect" button on mouse

    Hello,
In Ubuntu with gnome the pc would connect automatically to my logitech bluetooth mouse, without me having to push the "connect" button on the mouse.
The only way I've found now to connect to my mouse is by running
    sudo hidd --search
*and* clicking the "connect" button on the mouse. I would like to:
    1) not need sudo. Without sudo I get
    renato@tosharch:~$ hidd --search -t 0
    Searching ...
    Connecting to device 00:07:61:D1:87:B0
HID create error 13 (Permission denied)
    2) not need to push the "connect" button on the mouse, so i could add the command to my ~/.xinitrc and have the mouse automatically recognized
    what am I missing?

  • Lost my bluetooth mouse connection twice this morning - why?

My iMac 21.5" bluetooth mouse lost its connection twice this morning. The 2nd time for a long time (like 5-10 minutes). The battery indicator is still showing 36%. During this time the bluetooth keyboard had no problems.
It was very frustrating! I should get a wired mouse as a backup!
But in the meantime, what generally causes a problem like this? It's certainly not a proximity issue.
    Thanks,
    doug

Of course you can't reset preferences, delete bluetooth and re-pair or do anything that requires using the mouse to do something as long as you don't have a working mouse.
I did change the batteries, but that didn't help either. It just seemed to eventually connect again.
I'll take a look at the link though. Thanks.

  • OSX crashes when coming out of standby with bluetooth mouse connected

    Hi everyone,
I recently bought an HP bluetooth mouse for use with my macbook pro as i find the mighty mouse uncomfortable. Problem is if I close the lid and put my mac into standby I cant bring it out again and have to power it down and restart. This only happens when this mouse is connected. How can I stop this from happening? Obviously it's no problem to disable bluetooth before going into standby but sometimes I forget and that becomes a real pain when I want to start up again.
    Thanks in advance
    Simon

Finally sorted it myself, I needed to disable the option to let bluetooth devices wake the machine.

  • Bluetooth mouse connection goes on and off

Ever since I installed Mountain Lion, my magic mouse connection goes in and out with annoying frequency - sometimes every few seconds. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

I have the same problem with my Mighty Mouse except I'm still on Lion. Problem started shortly after I bought this IMAC mid summer. Add to this problem: very often the page I am viewing moves off the screen. The page can usually be swiped back when I'm on the web. However, if I am writing an email, it will go off the screen and can't be brought back. This can occur even if I don't touch the mouse but my hand is near the mouse. "Stay on Page" just brings the little multi coloured circle that goes round and round. Email does not return. This occurs using Rogers Yahoo or Apple Mail. Also, just touching the mouse (that is, not tapping it), very often will cause page to enlarge.

  • Sketchy Bluetooth Mouse Connection

I recently purchased a Wireless Mighty Mouse and connected to it no problem, but after working fine for about ten minutes, the mouse simply stops responding. Restarting the mouse or the computer makes it work again but it does the same thing after about ten minutes! I replaced the mouse once so I'm starting to think it is my computer that's the issue. Could it be my bluetooth chip? I hope not, because that seems expensive. How much would that cost/how difficult would that be? Can anybody help?

  • Bluetooth Mouse Connection

I dropped my wireless mouse and after putting it back together (including new batteries), I finally got it to pair with my computer. But even though I clicked the "connect" button, the bluetooth dialog box shows the mouse paired, but not connected. I tried a restart but still no luck. Any suggestions on how to make the connection?

Hi dianeLatte (I like the pseudonym):
I suspect that the drop caused the problem.
However, you could try a couple of things. If you are near an Apple store, take the mouse in - they will try to connect it to one of their computers.
You could also try resetting the PRAM:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
and resetting the SMC or the PMU (I cannot tell from your profile what Mac you are running).
The last two might help, but they will not fix the mouse if it i damaged.

    Lori,
I have the same mouse and have had similar problems. Interestingly, as I am typing now it is working but I have suffered through lost connections since purchasing it 1 month ago.
Recently, I have added it to my favourites in the BT set up. I have also forced a passkey. My instructions indicated that the key is 1234 but I found old documentation on the net that say 0000 is the passkey. The later worked to pair the unit however not sure it fixed anything.
I do find that if I keep it charged using the batteries that came with it and the USB cable it holds up longer. I give it a good 24 hour charge then unplug and mouse away.
    Hope that helps, Chris

  • When the bluetooth mouse connection is continually lost and a new BT mouse is not recognized, what action is needed to fix the problem?

What possible issues result in this probem?

Bluetooth uses the same crowded 2.4 GHz band used by cheap Routers. If you live in an area with many neighbors, and can see more than two neighbors' Routers, you may have too much Interference for reliable operation.
Unshielded USB cables near the mouse can also contribute to the problem.

  • 3rd party bluetooth mouse can't connect Lion

    Hi there,
There is a problem I found in Mac OS X Lion, I found that the 3rd party bluetooth mouse that couldn't be connect to those computer that installed Mac OS X Lion, beside that, I also got connect and use normally with my bluetooth mouse when I using Snow Leopard, and also I get test with some computer running Snow Leopard that I have, its running good.  But not in Lion.
I tried to reset nvram or reset the bluetooth setting on my Mac Book Air, also not working, and I tried my bluetooth mouse connect to HK Apple Store's demo iMac, also not working, but it just working at my brothers iMac that running Snow Leopard!
Could I have any advice about this?
    Thank you!

On the Mac with Lion installed, the Bluetooth preferences may be corrupted.
    Go to     /LIbary/Preferences
Move the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file to the Trash.
    Restart your Mac.
Make sure the batteries in the mouse are fresh.
Now open System Preferences > Bluetooth
Make sure On and Discoverable are selected.
Click:  Set Up New Device ...
    See if that works.

  • Thinkpad L440 - Left-Handed Bluetooth Mouse but Right-Handed Touchpad

I have my bluetooth mouse connected but I want to use it as a left-handed mouse.  I can't seem to figure out how to do this without changing the configuration of the touchpad.  I want to keep the touchpad right-handed.  Is there any way to do this?  Thanks!

    Hi Brittneym,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are looking for Touchpad setting on your ThinkPad L440.
Please go to Control panel – Mouse setting and in Buttons menu tick the check box “Switch primary and secondary buttons” this will change the complete setting for left hander users, and after applying those setting go to UltraNav menu and click on “Touch Pad Setting” you will new window touchpad properties in that expand Buttons option on “Left Button Action” set it to Primary Click and on “Right Button Action” set it to Secondary Click apply the settings and click on OK.
You can give a try on the above setting; it worked with USB external mouse but I am not sure with Bluetooth mouse. Check the screen shot from the below link
    Dual Touchpad setting
    Hope this helps!
