  • WIFI and mobile data connections not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Bluetooth not working in car. Any solution?

After installed iOS7 I am facing the following two problems:
    1. WIFI as well as mobile data connection are working fine at my home. But, not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Error message is 'unable to join network'. Mobile data also not connected outside my home. Sometimes wifi and mobile data connect outside my home when I turn off and on the phone.
    2. Bluetooth, in my car, paires well and incoming and out going calls can be received and made. The problem is no sound out put from speakers.
Apple please make note of the above problems (of million people) and give solution before giving any other updations for painting and tinkering the screens.

Check this thread, the same solution might work for you:

  • Bother...IOS 8.1 but BlueTooth not connecting

Oh dear,  I've just updated my iphone 5c with IOS 8.1 and it cannot connect via Bluetooth to my MacBook pro running Yosemite.  Sigh.  I updated my ipad air with 8.1 and it pairs with the MacBook pro.  Apart from the ipad not having a sim card the setting on both seem the same.  I tried the reset network on the iphone but no luck.  Any ideas what to do, or do I have to wait for an 8.xxx update.

Ok I got a good response.  I was trying to connect iPhone to iMac with bluetooth as I thought this is how the iMessage linking to iPhone worked.  It seems that iPhone will not connect to iMac as it was not designed to do so. (?!).   The iMessaging must work through WIFI and my problem was my apple ID was an email address that I also included in the iMessage preferences as additional emails.  Removing this 'duplication' solved my problem.  No doubt other bluetooth connection problems exist in connection to external BT devices (though I've not had a problem yet), but pairing with an iPhone to and iMac appears to be a no no as I'm informed that even if it did, what the heck would the connection be doing that is not done by another means.

  • IPhone 4s bluetooth not connecting to macbook pro

My iPhone 4s bluetooth is not connecting to macbook pro.  My 3Gs has always worked perfectly fine.  Is there a problem with the 4s hardware or iOS 5?  Anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to connect using Bluetooth to use my iPhone as a remote for keynote while on the go (no network to connect to.) maybe it can't be done with the new iPhones but it seems like we should be able to. Thanks for the snarky and super helpful answer though.

  • Bluetooth not connected

    Hi
I have never been successful in getting Bluetooth to connect to any other devices.
I have an iPad2 with latest OS (and iPhone 3 & 4). Turn on Bluetooth on each device and it does find each other but when I ask to pair it comes up confirm code is same on each ... Yes, ok ... But then says 'not connected'.
Don't understand that or why I cannot see other friends devices running Bluetooth as well.
Searched groups but all talk is on connecting to iMacs or other macs.
    Anyone help with this one?
    Thanks
    Andy

"Initially a friend wanted to send me a photo from his Nokia via Bluetooth but I couldn't even see his phone."
    not a feature of iphone.
"So why does my iPad and i4 see each other and ask the code question if they have no intention of talking to each other?"
They do not pair, unless it is from within an app or for internet thethering where provided by the carrier.

  • IPad Bluetooth not connecting

You haven't really provided enough information to help you. What have you tried and what was the result. Did you change something recently? New device or old?

  • 8520 Bluetooth not connecting to a paired device

Help, I have paired my bury cradle to the 8520 but it will not connect!!  its keeps failing, anyone else had this issue?

Windows network names should be short, have no spaces and be pure alphanumeric.
Does your airport have a wireless name like,
    Fred Blog's Airport Extreme wireless.
It is 1. Too Long.. make it short. 2. Spaces, get rid of them, 3. Illegal apostrophe.
    Try AEwifi for eg
And AEgenx for base station name.
Still have issues, try giving a different wireless name to each band, eg AE24ghz and AE5ghz and lock the wireless channel at least for the 2.4ghz.
Test with no security and then use WPA2 Personal with password of 8-20 characters, pure alphanumeric mix of upper, lower case and numbers.
Still got troubles.. some info would help.
What device.. what windows.. what airport.. to start with.

  • E7 Bluetooth after Anna not connecting to car HF

After Anna the BT doesn´t anymore connect with my car´s HF. At office we´ve tested C7, N97 and there´s no problem with those. Possible that Anna update is not industry standard anymore?

Frustrating is a very slight word to describe the feelings towards this future fishing rod weight.
The latest update Anna 025.007 (for E7-00) was like torture. Firstly; what the **** is going on, when you cannot update your phone from your phone?!
Secondly; the Nokia Store update took ages to complete, as did the actual installing of the Anna update.
End result: After the update there is absolutely no change whatsoever in BT or anything else that a user might notice.
Oh, except that the MfE disappeared. Again, I had to spend another few hours to install the mailbox again (I know it should only take a few minutes, but remember, this is nokia).
Only after deleting the existing mailbox and 8 sec. boot did the MfE allow me to create a new one.
This however, did not function correctly; MfE retrieved all emails, but not the calendar or phonebook.
After several tries and reboots, somehow miraculously did the calendar appointments and phonebook also appear. I am certain that all settings were correct every time, I have them saved on my laptop, just in case.
Did I mention that the update did NOTHING to make the BT connection work with my car kit?
    So, ahead with new disappointments!

  • Bluetooth not connecting to anything to include MAC

New car no conectivity, 2011 ACURA MDX running the same Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR tech. Tried to connect to an actual MAC at a MAC store, same thing as they could not get it to connect. Cannot connect to a WINDOWS PC running Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR tech and last but not least, was told by ATT Friday OCT 29 that APPLE will not let me use bluetooth except for a specific ear piece that they could not get to connect at the store. Called Apple support, said they world call back because they wanted to reset phone and trouble shoot, no call back even after I called back again......... So is it the phone, ACURA says yes, the MAC store said that it is the phone and Windows said the same thing. So is there a fix? If not, may have to go with waht everyone else has recomended another phone....

    Alan
Thanks for the link been there no help since the phone should connect but doesn't. So te only indicator is that the phone is bad but based on the other discussions, more than myself are having issues with bluetooth connectivity issues and we are looking for support which we are not getting from Apple or ATT

  • IPod shuffle will not connect to car audio

my 2015 Lexus audio system recognizes my iPod Nano's (6th &7th generation) without any problems via BT or USB; does the 4th gen iPod shuffle have the capability to play through my car's audio system with it's USB cable?

Probably not, because the iPod shuffle does not have the "standard" iPod dock connector.  It uses the headphones jack as the connection point for data.  Also, the shuffle is designed to be a more limited device, in terms of its interaction capabilities.
A better choice for connecting to a car audio system is an inexpensive USB flash drive.  You may already have one.  For example, this one barely sticks out of the USB port
    http://eshop.macsales.com/item/SanDisk/SDCZ33016G/
and has many times the storage capacity of a shuffle.  You can load it with your favorite songs and just leave it connected in the car, instead of constantly connecting and disconnecting an iPod (which causes wear on the iPod).

  • Bluetooth not connecting

SInce the 8.02 update my Bluetooth no longer works in my van. It connects and disconnects intermittently. As a handicap person I find it not only frustrating but dangerous. My call will not always connect and hangs up in mid conversation. That is when it connects. My 5s is only 2 months old. I've never seen apple drop the ball so badly with an update that made things much worse instead of better. I've owned several thousand dollies worth of Apple products over 26yrs including buying several iMacs for my classroom through grants. However I'm disappointed that the update has made things much worse. Apple please fix it  so I can continue to recommend your typically superior product to others.

        Hi Onemoreradar,
That's not good! I know how important your Bluetooth feature can be. Let's get this fixed. When did this issue start? What software version/build number is your device on? Settings>about phone>software or build number. Have you tried powering the device off>on, then attempting the connection? Keep me posted
    Thanks,
