Bluetooth not working correctly in Mac OS 10.4.4
Hello all,
I recently installed the the X.4.4 update on my PowerBook, and now it is having problems connecting to my RAZR. When I try to "Rebond" to it, it says an unexpected error has occurred (on the PB), and shows no bluetooth devices. Also, I am using a program called "BluePhoneMenu", and about every 15 seconds, it changes from active, to error. It waits another 15 seonds, and changes back (never connecting to the phone.) Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would delete the phone from your list of paired devices. I would remove it from any bluetooth favourites. I remove the Mac from your phone's list of trusted devices.
The repair the phone and try again.
If you still get more trouble I would try posting this problem in the bluetooth section of the forum you may get more answers.

Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

HT1203 iOS 7.0.2 Bluetooth not working correctly.
After updating to iOS 7.0.2 my Bluetooth connection with my Toyota Camry does not work properly. The controls on the steering wheel will not advance to the next song anymore and it also doesn't start playing automatically when I start the car like before
this ios update has killed my gogroove flexsmart x3 bluetooth fm transmitter. it used to start playing music from my phone when i powered the unit on, but not anymore. now more importantly the skip track forward or back buttons don't work at all. we need an update for this and the numerous other glitchy music app issues.

Motorola T325 Bluetooth not working correctly
I have a Tour 9630 and just bought a Motorola t325 Bluetooth Speaker Phone. I can make one call, but when I hang up and try to make another the call goes through but the speaker does not work on the T325 or on the Tour.. I have to reboot the T325 to make a call . I tried to reconnect the Bluetooth , but it still will not call. The T325 works with a non blackberry device. I spoke with Motorola and was told to contact Blackberry.

PatI am having the exact same issue with my Kenwood. My phone pairs with the system but the system won't pair with the phone.
I retreived an incoming call from the stereo system yesterday evening, I upgraded to IOS 5.1 this morning, and now it doesn't work at all.
Tried to reset everything and re-pair, but it isn't working.
I'm at a loss.What good was the upgrade. I have a quality car audio system with mic for hands free communication.

Bluetooth not working correctly after upgrading.
I have Lenovo G580 Notebook. I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 (32-bit). In Windows 7, the Bluetooth software used to work with no problems. But since I've upgraded to Windows 8, the Bluetooth device doesn't function well. I had installed the Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth Suite 3.0 for Windows 8 32-bit. But whenever I try to search for any devices, it doesn't find any nor any other device (such as Mobile, Tablet, etc.) could find my Bluetooth PC. I tried installing the Atheros Bluetooth for Windows 7 32-bit. But it has compatibility issue. I also tried installing the Broadcom Bluetooth software but the setup doesn't find any Bluetooth device on my Notebook. What shall I do? Please guide me

Bluetooth not working correctly after iOS 4 update
I recently purchased and have been enjoying the Bose sound link wireless music system in fact I can't say enough about the accessory connecting wirelessly my iPad and iPhone to enjoy music. After the iOS 4 update my iPhone will no longer connect to the bose system while my iPad has no trouble.
Anyone else experiencing similar Bluetooth issues?
TomI also have an issue after 4.0 update today.
Can't discover any bluetooth devices from my 3GS iPhone. It "spins the wheel" searching but never finds any.
Bluetooth pairing from a Macbook Pro 17 / 10.6.4 results in a passkey being sent to the iPhone but the pairing hangs and there is no connection to the phone.
So the bluetooth kind of works. .the hardware is functiong (and was fine under 3.1.3).
This suggests it may be the new iOS4.0 with a few glitches -
Bluetooth not working correctly
Ever since I have connected my new external monitor, my computer can't seem to stay connected with my bluetooth mouse. Most of the time, the bluetooth symbol just has a busy symbol over it and when I click on it, it says bluetooth unavailable. Other times, it will just be the standard symbol and I can click to reconfigure the mouse, but within minutes it is busy again. I changed the batteries in the mouse, that didn't help.
Any ideas?Hey!
Your greyed out symbol means....
You see a B icon with three dots through it when Bluetooth is on and a paired Bluetooth device is communicating with your computer.

My MacBook Pro keyboard not working correctly after Win7 bootcamp installation.
Installation went well but when I boot either with OSx or Win it always keeps Windows keyboard.
How can I have Mac keyboard in OS boot and Win keyboard in Win boot?Hi - I have the exact same model as your MacBook and had a few questions as mine is acting up. I upgraded the ram to 8gb (2x 4GB ram) and ever since then my computer has not been running as smoothly and the start up time is horrendous. Have you encountered this problem? And if so how did you fix? What would you advise me do?
I was thinking of reverting back to the original factory 4GB then rebooting the entire computer. Any suggestions?

Brush function not working correctly PS Elements 11 for Mac
The brush is not working correctly in that I cannot drag the brush. It allows only spot healing, not dragging the brush. Didn't use to have this problem. Now do. Not sure what has changed. Thank you!

Function keys are not working correctly
I've been looking all over the various threads and I can't find an answer that solves my problem.
Here are the details:
I bought the computer in the U.S. where I live.
I have a iMac 2.4GHz intel Core 2 Duo EMC 2133 with a 20" screen. Bought it new in February 2008.
I have Mac OS X 10.5.8 (I am waiting for my order for OS Snow Leopard to come in!!)
I have been using a wireless mouse and Keyboard (Love not having cords!)
Recently, my wireless keyboard got a short and quit working. I went down to the apple store and got a new wireless keyboard.
I had the computer with me at the genius bar so, yes, the apple employee saw exactly what I have.
I took it all home got the thing all put back together and got the new keyboard paired up and working with the computer.
Here are the problems:
Went to go use the function keys while using iTunes and found they weren't working properly. The F10, F11 and F12 do not control the volume of sound as the keyboard indicates they would, they instead activate dashboard, spaces, and application windows.
Following the advice of other threads, I looked over in the system preferences and made sure the "Use all F1, F2 etc." box was unchecked (it was unchecked), things still didn't work.
I tried the fn key but it appears to not work at all it has no effect on the functioning of the function keys.
I went under keyboard shortcuts in system preferences and found the F10, F11 and F12 keys, it confirms that those keys control spaces, dashboard and application windows as they are performing but shows no options to either reassign to volume control (as marked on the keyboard) or make the fn key work.
I've gone back and forth trying various combinations of checked and unchecked boxes to see if anything would work, so far I've come up with nothing.
A couple more important or interesting facts:
Yes I have turned off and taken the batteries out of the old keyboard. My bluetooth connection currently shows it as disconnected.
I have restarted the computer.
One thing I find odd; when I go under preferences and go to Keyboard and Mouse when I go under the section "Bluetooth" it shows Bluetooth mouse with the name of the mouse and the battery level. BUT nothing is showing up under bluetooth Keyboard, I can't figure out how to change this and don't know if it is contributing to the problem.
When I go under the bluetooth logo on the top bar I find the mouse and both keyboards referenced, the old keyboard is shown as disconnected and the other two are connected. I have tried to update the device's name but it doesn't seem to let me.
I have double clicked on the device under bluetooth and it shows the new keyboard as discoverable, paired and connected. Hence, I am using the new keyboard to write this inquiry.
Please, any assistance would be of great help. I have tried to be thorough in order help narrow the possible problem. Thanks!!Hendry
Just thought I'd let you know. Our suspicions were correct, it was the OS. After I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8) all the problems were corrected. I also updated the RAM from 1 gb to 6 gb. The mac is working all around better. Sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. My superdrive had pooped out. Rather than replace it I got an external drive from OWC connected with firewire 800. So far everything is running very well, as far as I can tell this external drive is better than the original superdrive. My superdrive has always acted funny, infact I returned the first mac I got after a week because its superdrive was also malfunctioning. Anyway, all that to say everything seems to be fully functioning again.

Text formatting in Numbers is not working correctly.
In Numbers on Chrome text formatting is not working correctly, it's almost as if a CSS file is not being loaded. To be precise, when I try to make a cell Bold there is no bolding. I am using Arial as a font. This has been an issue on Mac and Windows. Any ideas?
Do you have the same problem with Safari or Firefox?

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

New Browser Window not working on My Mac Intel pro
I have set a behavior in Dreamweaver CS3 to open a new
browser window to a set size and to only show scroll bars if
