Bluetooth not working properly Z10 with Subaru 2010 and 2012
From the start approx 6 weeks ago, Z10 would not automatically pair (discover) had to manually connected everytime. Sometimes had to turn Bluetooth off and on several times to connect. Once connected Music and phone worked fine thru car speakers.
Every Blackberry I had in the past worked perfectly.
Now in the last week it shows on the screen in the Subaru that it is paired/connected.
Phone rings through car speakers, but goes to the phone speaker when answered. Also music plays thru the phone speakers!!
Any ideas?
I occasionally have to manually switch mine to BT Audio on the Z10 when a call comes in. There should be a button on the phone screen for it. Kind of annoying.

Bluetooth not working properly after upgrade to iOS4
I upgraded my iPhone 3g to iOS4 the other day. Apart from running stupid slow now, and even though i've done numerous hard resets, the bluetooth doesn't work properly anymore.
If I switch off bluetooth, then switch it on, it connects fine. Once I disconnect though, that's it. I have to restart it again.
Looks like all those complaints about iphone 4 are actually and iOS4 BUG.
I wish I'd never upgraded now. Actually, that's not true. I wish Apple would help me DOWNGRADE my iphone 3g so i can use it again. I will not go and buy and iphone 4 just cos of this. If anything I'll switch to Android just because a) i'm not a fanboy and b) consumers should not be treated in such a belligerent manner.
So, anyone know how to resolve this bluetooth issue? It's got to the point where it's dangerous in the car because my phone rings and I have to recycle the bluetooth to connect it.

Your issue will be due to files named to include MessageSorting (which would mean you once have upgraded from a version of OSX earlier than 10.4), remove those, also, but never restore those. You will not have the files named to include MessageRules because you have not used Tiger.
To find the correct location for the Mail folder, open a Finder window, click on the icon of a house in the Sidebar (this is known often as "Home"), click on Library in that Home user directory, and then to open the Mail folder found there.

Bluetooth not working properly after 10.6.3 upgrade
I am having trouble with the magic mouse after the 10.6.3 upgrade.
The mouse works normally when working on the computer but if I kick off a file
transfer (file copy) to my NAS over wifi the mouse becomes unusable.
The heavy wifi traffic seems to bog down the bluetooth transmitter for some reason.
The system works normally with a wired mouse during the transfer but bluetooth devices such
as the magic mouse, pda link and sound just die during a wifi file transfer.
I reloaded the magic mouse driver but it did not help.
Under 10.6.2 this worked perfectly. The other problem is that the awake on bluetooth is also
not working since the 10.6.3 upgrade.Hello Roy:
You might try trashing a preference file (com.apple.bluetooth.plist) and restarting. I do not use WiFi, so I do not have a parallel system to examine.

Since upgrading to iOS 7 Bluetooth is not working fully on either ipad or iphone.
What will work ....
BT turns on and off OK
Personal hotspot will work ok and when in use the two devices show each other as connected via BT
Apple keyboard is recognised and connects oK
What does not work,...
If BT is turned on the devices will not find one another, even though they are both showing they are discoverable. They spend for ever trying to discover ANY device and find nothing.
Tried with a device on iOS 6xx and still no discovery
Tried with the Phototransfer app that has always worked fine via BT - it will no longer connect over BT.no issues with my iphone4 16GB 1.5GB free

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion. Tried to transfer pictures from my DSLR camera but it cannot be detected anymore. My external hard disk does not work anymore as well. Can anybody please help? Thanks.
Open System Information (Applications > Utiities) and select the USB entry in the left column. The top right pane will show all the USB busses on your Mac. If the Mac can see the camera and external hard drive then they should be shown under one of the busses. So do you see them? If no, are they connecting directly to the Mac and not via some sort of USB hub?

Bluetooth not working properly with pc suite
i have pc suite version 6.80.22 using windows xp sp2
i have toshiba bluetooth built into my laptop.
i asume when my computer turns on (and subsequently the pc suite which runs at startup) for it to automatically find my nokia n80 fone.
the problem is that it doesnt, and when i go to manage connections option it gives a list of connection options.
there are 2 bluetooth options, the microsoft one is already ticked but the toshiba one isnt.
so i tick the toshiba one and automatically it finds my nokia phone. but the problem is that this doesnt save. the next time i turn my computer on again i have to do the same thing, i have to tick the box for the toshiba bluetooth as connection option.
does anyone have any ideas how to get around this?lucky you, my pc suite doesn`t even see the bluetooth (doesn`t show up in the connection wizzard)

Mouse/Bluetooth not working properly
I've recently started to have problems with my mouse, which is a wireless bluetooth. I switched to a new bluetooth mouse and still had the same problems. Unfortunately, I don't have a wired mouse on hand. Occasionally, the mouse will not double click or allow me to pull down a menu or select text. There are numerous other problems, like text typed in the Safari search bar will disappear as I type and every few minutes the computer starts firing off the alert sound in rapid succession until I hit a key on my keyboard. Also -- coincidentally or not -- I am not able to zap my PRAM. Keyboard shortcuts all seem to work, though. I have Time Machine and was considering a system restore, but thought I'd try this first.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!If your bluetooth is out of whack, the PRAM reset via a bluetooth keyboard isn't likely to work. Try it with a USB keyboard, if you aren't using one already (preferably Apple brand, and preferably plugged directly into the Mac.)
A G4 is a pretty old model, so anothe possibility is that the onboard PRAM battery is dead or dying. You could try replacing it.
Finally, I had a glitchy wireless mouse, and tracked the problem to a flaky Bluetooth circuit or board in my Mini. The solution for me was a Bluetooth USB dongle. -

Database creation not working in eclipselink with glassfish 4 and postgress

I want to create the database based on Entities. Configuration:
Glassfish: GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 4.1 (build 13)
Eclipselink: Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.5.2.v20140319-9ad6abd (delivered with glassfish)
Database: PostgreSQL Version: 9.4.2
Driver: PostgreSQL Native Driver Version: PostgreSQL 9.4 JDBC4.1 (build 1201)
From the moment eclipselink starts creating the database I see the following statements in the logs after putting a lot of log parameters on finest:
SELECT ID FROM table_name WHERE ID <> ID
SELECT 1
This is repeated 4-5 times. The first query gives the following obvious postgres error:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: relation "table_name" does not exist Position: 16
As a result a following queries give the following error:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block
After this eclipselink continues creating the tables:
CREATE TABLE table_name (ID BIGINT NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (ID))
But produces the same error.
For some reason creating the database happens in a transaction. I found the source code responsible, but I can't find out how the transaction is started. I can give more detailed information, but maybe somebody can already help now.

In ios 7 upgrade bluetooth not working properly... It's always searching ... not detecting even ipad with ios7 (bluetooth on).
I was expected 7.0.3. but no use...Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset the BT device
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My late 2011 Macbook Pro is not working properly it is very slow and extremely painful to use, I went to a Genius Bar appointment, they were not helpful at all and just told me to go off and reboot my Mac and then restore via TimeMachine. Your problem description is generalized and non-specific. I would make another appointment at the Apple store and insist they help you execute their suggested fixes.
