Bluetooth paired but sound still comes out of the iPhone
I am able to pair it to my car and both the car & the iphone says it is connected. However, when I try to make a phone call, the sound does not come through the Bluetooth.
Not that it helps, but I have experienced the same problem with my Bose BT1. It pairs; it connects, and yet when I try to use the earpiece to receive or make a call, the BT1 is not recognized by the phone app. This has got to be an iOS 5 problem, as there are many discussions all over here describing the problem in various scenarios.

Just got a new iphone 5. When I plug in the ear buds, the audio still comes out of the phone itself. How do I transfer the audio to the ear buds?
Make sure it's plugged in all the way, because it clicks when it's no all the way In and many users get confused. If not try turning it.

I have a iPad and I connect it to my tv through hdmi but would like the sound to come out through the headphone socket, can I make this happen.
Go to System Preferences>Sound>Output and make sure that you selected the right output. I think if yo use HDMI you might not be abe to select another output.

Firstly, I can't open iPhoto on my macbook as of a few days and could it have anything to do with a problem I have updating my iPhone's software as I've downloaded extra iCloud storage but I still can't get the iPhone to recognise the space for software
No. With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what do you see when iPhoto opens?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?
For the iPhone issue ask in the iPhone forum.

my new iphone 5 is frozen, with the cord to computer symbol on the screen after failing to finish updating to ios 7. iTunes no longer sees the phone. I've tried rebooting the computer, rebooting the iPhone, but iTunes still doesn't see the iPhone.
If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

Can anyone offer suggestions? I realize there are two separate issues here.
1. I thought I successfully connected my iPad with the iTunes library on my Mac/ Hard Drive via the Remote app. However, more than half the songs in my music library will not play on the Ipad; when I click on any one of them using the iPad's Remote app & iTunes, I get a message box that says: "An unknown error occurred. Please check your library and try again." These songs all play fine through my Mac's Itunes program.
2. I had thought I could use the Remote app to get my library "into" my receiver, connecting the iPad to the receiver with an RCA-to-headphone adapter. This adapter works great to play music that "lives" on an iPod or iPad. But it does not seem to be able to access music that the ipad is controlling only remotely. If this is true I will be pretty unhappy...Thank you. My two questions have now shifted.
1. You are right-- I have been unsure as to whether Homesharing or Remote was my answer, and I did set up Homesharing on both my Mac and iPad. It still appears that my music comes out of the Mac, only. How can i use Homesharing to allow the iPad to play music?
2. And I went back to check again, and saw that somehow, the songs that my iPad cannot locate are also somehow missing now on the Mac, even though they used to be accessible. My entire music library is stored on an external hard drive, which I used to connect to my Mac with USB. I just got a new router and now have the music hard drive connected via USB to IT instead of the Mac. I would bet that this is why so much of my library is no longer accessible-- I must have used different settings to save some of my songs, and the hard drive's new location shows that. Can anyone help me make my entire music library playable ? Thanks again -
i saw there is a new iOS version for the iPad mini, could this new version be a solution to the problem in question, i'm always on the move thats why i havent updated yet, but if the update solves the problem i will update asap.

Say I just did a hard reset the sound comes out of the earphones upon inserting them into the jack but should I remove them from the jack for any reason the sound will continue to come out of the main speakers after re-insertion of the earphones. The sound will continue to come out of the main speakers until I hard reset again.
Demo, so it's not necessary for me to update for my wifi is bug-less. -

My iTouch was working perfectly fine til it was connected to the school speaker for my dance. When I used it afterwards (with my headphones), the sound only came out from the right phone. I tried using my spare earphones and still no sound from the left. The headphones/earphones are working fine as I tested it with my laptop and mom's iPhone. So the real problem's with my iTouch!
What do I do? I tried syncing it to iTunes, even resetting it... but nothing! HELP. :((If you connect your iPod with your computer, and if you can hear from both channels, that it is clearly something wrong with the earphone jack, there are few cases reported the dust in the earphone (metal parts?) causing the problem.

[SOLVED] Sound will come out of the speakers, but not the headphones.
So, the headphones won't play any sound (they work with my phone, not on my laptop) when plugged in.
When the headphones are plugged into the jack, the speakers mute, so I know that the laptop is registering that they got plugged in, but still no sound comes out.

Hi. I have an iphone 4s and the screen is barely readable. it is nearly completely black. The light beside the camera seems to come on every time that I turn on the phone but yet the screen doesn't seem to come on. i have restored the iphone and done everything it says in other forums but yet nothing is working. it is on the set up screen ready to set up as a new iphone but it is so hard to see everything that i cannot set it up. im planning on bringing it back to vodafone tomorrow to see if they can do anything. Any suggestions on what to do?
Sounds like it may be a hardware issue.
Did the issue happen over time or did something cause it (dropped it, water, etc.)

In PSE9 I am having a problem with the Menubar (i.e. the one that says, File, Edit, etc.) at the top of the screen. Instead of the bar appearing, there is only a small triangle that I must click on to see the bar. I know the cause of this problem.
