Bluetooth problems in car after ios7 update

Why will my iPhone 4 not pair with my car after ios7 update. It worked perfectly in my BMW 316d before the update. Any ideas please?

I have now performed "Reset all settings" on both iPad Air and iPhone 5S, using iOS 8.02. The 'interesting' side effect is an apparent wipe of my iCloud! All documents gone in Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Same with Notability, but at least I backed that up on Google Drive. I still have my pictures, I still have my music. Oh yeah, all my movies in iMovie (the ones uploaded on iCloud) - gone as well (at least they are backed up on a hard drive).
The good news is that I have now been able to reset all Bluetooth connections. This has enabled Airdrop, amongst other things. I still haven't tried to connect to my car.
I have an appointment with an Apple employee this evening to try to restore my iCloud.
No bashing - but Apple needs to work more on quality assurance on cloud based services.

When I upgraded to my iPhone 5, a friend was complaining that his iPhone 5 did work in his car. I took the Apple 30 pin to Lightning adapter out of my car and replaced his third party one and it started working.

I have a Kia Sorento w/Nav system that STILL WILL NOT connect with my iPhone 4s. It's sporadic as to when it will connect. Yes I have turned off Siri, shut off my wiFi on the phone, did a restore factory settings on the car, restored my iPhone, turned off everything on the phone but cellular data, etc (I have tried EVERYTHING) and still it's hit and miss. I have taken the car to Kia which tells me it's an iPhone 4s and above problem and there are no firmware updates for my car system. They tell me Apple needs to put out an update to make it compatible with the 4S and above. This is SO frustrating!! I have a $40,000 car that won't work with a $200 phone!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Apple, help the many users I have found on this forum to connect our iPhones to our cars!!!
Has anyone else found a work around thus far????

Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect your phone with your car.
What you can try and see if it helps is to do a master reset of the unit in your car and, if possible, try to initiate the pairing from the car unit instead.

Terminé resolviendo mi problema instalando el AE CC. que no es lo que quería en principio pero al final lo que me importa es poder disfrutar del programa. el único problema es que gracias a la tarjeta gráfica que trae mi modelo de MacBook, no podré disfrutar de la opción de trabajar los gráficos en GPU sino únicamente en CPU. ya que para trabajar en GPU necesito el complemento CUDA que mi tarjeta no lo puede utilizar. igual seguiré buscando respuestas a mi caso por la web y otros foros.
Hello again. I ended up installing AE CC to fix my problem. although that was not what I was looking for but at the end all that matter is to enjoy the software. The only unsolving issue is that I won't be able to enjoy the option of working graphics in GPU mode due to my graphic card. It needs CUDA and intel doesn't support it. I'll keep on looking for answers to my trouble with AE CS6 in the web.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...

After IOS7 update, Extract software did not recognize device properly . Now iTunes asked me to restore iphone . I tried restoring.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. If the errors persist on another computer and known-good USB cable, the device may need service.

Although it shows I am connected to the internet keep getting a message that unable to connect after IOS7 update. Any suggestions?

1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again.
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

AApple takes no responsibility for their updates causing harm to devices. See section 7.4 through 7.6
i see a lot of denial on this site when it comes to viruses, the same applies to apple updates messing up folks devices. Take it back to an apple store and it is likely the best you can hope for is a discount on a new ipad. Good luck. Hopefully someone here can help you with a fix.
