Bluetooth speaker does not appear in "playback devices" list

I'm having trouble controlling my new Auvio HBT2000W speaker via bluetooth from my Y580 ideapad running Windows 8.1.  They successfully pair, but the speaker does not appear in the "playback devices" to output my audio to.  This may be related, but when in "devices and pritners", if I right click on the Auvio HBT2000W and select "control", the window that pops up (shown below) always closes after about 2 seconds. I have tried all the unpairing/repairing, restarting, etc.I've tried updating the bluetooth driver with the one posted on this website.I've disabled the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on the Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30)I've made sure that all "services" are enabled in the properties window for the Auvio HBT2000W.I've even tried the Windows troubleshooter... which of course says that everything is fine and working properly. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas? Thanks!

  • IPad does not appear in iTunes Devices list

My MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad are all on the same network, however my iPad frequently does not appear in iTunes Devices when not physically connected by USB.  No problem with my iPhone.  Anyone else with this problem?  Any solution?  (Yes, all OS/iTunes softwares are current.)
Further detail, to temporarily fix this issue, I physically connect my iPad via USB to sync it.  Temporarily the iPad will be seen in the device list allowing sycing to occur while remotely charging, but at some random time later my iPad is no longer found by iTunes - again without the physical USB link.  So, yes there is a work around, but it is annoying to be so up and down with this feature.
    Any ideas are appreciated.

  • [solved] SD card in my card reader does not appear as a device

    Greetings.
I have an Asus EEE 1015PEM netbook, which has a built-in card reader.
I found some old SD cards that I am trying to get files from. When I insert them into the SD card reader in my netbook, the SD card does not appear as a device, and thus, I cannot mount it.

Come to think of it, I am not sure I ever tried my SD card reader since I installed Arch on the machine (the machine was running Ubuntu before that, and there, inserting an SD card would trigger some automount magic).
You guys know what I can do to access the files on my SD cards?
    Cheers,
    Willard.

    - Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens(if has back camera). For the 16 GB one without the back camera the mic hole is on the top edge near the center.
    - Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle or changes in the moving waveform graph with changes in noise level trying to be recorded.
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

  • When i sync my ipod touch (4gen), my music does not appear on my device? what is wrong?

when I sync my ipod touch (4gen), my music does not appear on my device. What went wrong?

    Hello,
The problem is that you just don't selected the music that you want to import.
You can do this by opening iTunes, search your ipod in the superior bar, select it, then will appear a screen showing the information of your ipod, you can check how many songs are in your ipod, if there says nothing so theres the problem. In the superior bar, select Music, then click on the box "Sync Music", now select the songs you want right down. And press "Sync" That should solve the problem.
    Cheers

Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

  • HDMI does not appear in playback

I have no audio when I connect my HP Pavilion dv4-1435dx Entertainment Notebook PC to my Panasonic TV via a HDMI cord.  The picture is great, but audio will only go through my laptop speakers.  I have updated all of my devices, I have tried using Intel's website to verify I have all of my drivers updated.  I have also checked on my playback to show all disabled devices and HDMI does not appear.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.  I have even verified that the settings on my TV are set to digital audio.  I have tried uninstalling the Intel High Definition Audio HDMI, plugged the HDMI cable to my laptop with the TV off, reboot and still no luck!!  The only options I have for playback are "Speakers and Dual Headphones", "Independent dual headphones", and "SPDIF"  My computer is an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 64-bit.  I am getting way too frustrated over this and have searched every forum imaginable for a resolution to this issue, please help!!

    Hi,
Try this to see if it helps.  Download the Chipset driver and Graphics driver on the links below and save the installers to your Desktop.
    Chipset Driver
    Intel Graphics Driver
Next, in Device Manager, open Display Adapters, right click on the Intel graphics chip and select Properties.  Click the Driver tab and then select uninstall.  When done, do the same for the for the Intel High Definition Audio CODEC and the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, found under Sound Video and Game Controllers.
Now return to the Desktop and install the Chipset driver and then the Graphics driver.  When complete, reboot the notebook and see if this has helped.  Check in Device Manager that both the Intel Graphics and the Intel Hi Definition Audio codec have reinstalled successfully and whether you now see the HDMI Audio option under playback devices ( found in Control Panel, Sound ).
If it shows up correctly, try the HDMI connection and see if it now functions properly.

  • Bluetooth speaker does not connect automatically in windows 8.1

before the upgrade (?) to 8.1,if i turned on my bluetooth speaker,it automatically took over from the speakers of my laptop. No drivers,no further changes needed.
After upgrading to 8.1 i have to disconnect the speaker, connect it again, then set the speaker as my standard speaker.then it plays.every time again and again.
    how do i fix this?

Me too.  It shows that it connects and briefly reads "Connected" and then quickly switches to "Not Connected".  My Windows Phone 8, when trying to connect to Windows 8.1 PC via Bluetooth is doing the same thing and I
receive this both from the PC and the phone.  My phone does successfully connect to my Bluetooth speaker, but not from the PC only from the phone.   Has this been fixed yet and I missed it?  One thing
I've learned while being a part of a smaller market share having had a Windows Phone for several years now, the solutions come quietly and sometimes go unnoticed.  Only later will I find myself thinking, "Oh yeah it works now, they've created a solution".
Case in point: Red Laser stopped working then shortly thereafter there was the Eye icon available at the Bing screen that can scan just about anything that can be scanned.  Is there a similar thing happening with my Bluetooth device drivers from my 8.1
PC and I need to manually push something?  When there is a solution, will you please alert me and the rest of this thread?  Thanks much in advance!

  • My iPad does not appear as a device in iTunes

I have sinced my iPad but it does not appear in iTunes as a device whatever I try. Are there any tricks?

I had this a while ago and it may work for you. Hook up the iPad with the cable and in the Summary page under options see what is checked
For wiFi to work you need the sync with this iPad over WiFi selected.
I am assuming you have already done this. I deselected the Wifi, Sync'd and the reapplied  it and syn'd. The disconnected the USB cable and the iPad remained connected

  • Q10 does not appear as audio device on pc

New pc, windows 8.1 and when connecting my BlackBerry phone via bluetooth, it does not give me an option to play music from phone. It does connect though and I have tried other devices- all works fine with both, pc + other devices and BlackBerry + other devices, just not those 2 together.. any idea?

Can you see the devices heading in the side bar? If you are using iTunes 11 and can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar from the iTunes menu.

Win7-64 installed icloud 2.0. Iphone 4, iPad new (iOS 6)
I put the photos in the folder uploads, they appear on your computer in the my photostream, but do not appear on ios devices.
Climbed into the iPhone file manager and found an interesting picture. Photos taken on iOS go to one folder photostream and displayed on all devices and PCs, but throw in uploads pictures in Windows also went on iOS devices, but for some reason in a completely different location. And in the photostream on iPhones and aypade not appear, although present. I wonder what this folder is and whether it is in others?
Reset iphone now tried, does not help.

Come on, surely no one can see one or two folders on the iphone?
