Bluetooth stack/jabra a320s dongle

i bought jabra a320s which came with widcomm drivers and i have toshiba bluetooth stack on my S300m laptop. The toshiba bluetooth stack is not recognising my A320s dongle. it says please plugin BT adapter. i uninstalled widcomm and tried with toshiba v6.10...and also v6.30....i want my a320s to work with toshiba rather than widcomm bluetooth software.
How do i do it?

Common error to the jabra hardware, go to the jabra website and ensure that they posted a Vista bluetooth stack driver. You may not have a choice but use their driver.  Toshiba Bluetooth stack is genuinely adaptable to all hardware device with few exceptions.

    How should solve this?
    Many thanks in advance.

I never got any Bluesoleil stack to ever work with any version of PC Suite.  However, as of Windows XP SP2, the Microsoft Bluetooth protocol stack appears to detect "several" Bluesoleil Bluetooth compatible dongles and will use them.  However, these will have limited functionality as Microsoft limits their Bluetooth support.

  • How to manually uninstall the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack?

Hey there, I have a problem with the uninstallation of the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v4.00.20 on my Windows XP SP2 notebook. Whenever I choose to remove the "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba" (and "Bluetooth HID Switch Service") the installer starts preparing but hangs after a short while - the only way to continue is to power the notebook off. :(
The same happens when I try to update the stack to the latest version - the installer says that the old stack has to be removed first and hangs after trying to remove it. So is there a way to remove it by hand? I really don't want to reinstall Windows because of that.
The reason why I want to uninstall/update the stack is because my Jabra BT620s headset doesn't work with it. I can connect it and use it as earphones (the music quality is pretty good) but I cannot use the built-in microphone. This works with the Widcomm stack but with this one I have quality issues.
    Thanks in advance.

If only your headphone works and not your headset then you have most likely not configured the headset profile. Use the "Custom Mode" of Bluetooth settings and setup also HFP (or HSP if HSP does not exist) then it should work.

  • Bluetooth Stack installation fails

I bought a Bluetooth dongle with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack. Software installation proceeds normally until the point where it says "Insert the Bluetooth device and click Enter." I do that and the installation stops. I have waited up to half an hour but it never gets past 56%.
I am running Windows 2000 SP4 on an Athlon 1GHz. Plenty of disk space and RAM. Tried the install several times, even tried shutting down the firewall. Nothing makes any difference.
    Any suggestions?

Yes, the Vid_0c10&Pid0000 is correct for your device. It is a "Silicon Wave Bluetooth Wireless Adapter".
That it is listed also in the "Exclude from select" in the [ControlFlags] section is also correct.
The message of XP that it is working correctly is a sign that the MS-stack has caught the drivers.
    - Open the device manager (Start->Run -> Devmgmt.msc)
    - Right-mouse-Click on the second device under "Bluetooth Radios".
The name should be "...Bluetooth ..."
(or an "Unknown device" or Bluetooth device under the Others section).
(- If SP2 is installed then please check also
"Properties -> Details -> Device Instance Id" of it. It should display
    "USB\VID_0c10 ..0000...".)
    - Select "Properties -> Driver -> Update Driver... -> No, not this time ->
Install from a list or specific location -> Don't search. I will choose
the driver to install. -> Select the not signed driver (driver for your device) ->
Continue Anyway -> No, not this time -> Install the software automatically -> No,
not this time -> Install the software automatically ...
    - Now you should find in the Device Manager under "Universal Serial Bus controllers"
a "...Bluetooth ..." device after the installation was finished.

  • Satellite Pro L500 - no licence for Toshiba Bluetooth Stack

Do hope someone can help me. I am going round in circles.
On 8th Nov 2010 I purchased online from Toshiba the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (Premium Edition) for my Toshiba Satellite Pro L500 so that I could use my existing (non-Toshiba) dongle. This has been working fine until a couple of months ago.
Thinking that the dongle had packed up I bought another one.
However, although I know that this one is working I have been unable to get this to work on my Toshiba laptop as I keep getting the following error message from the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack as follows:
"Thank you for evaluating the Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba. The evaluation period has now expired. Please obtain a license for this version of Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba."
This seems to imply I have come to the end of a free evaluation period but I haven't as I purchased the full license in 2010. I have tried various things but I can't seem to get past this. I'm not a computer boffin but I can reasonably find my way around a laptop. Can anyone please, please help me?

Hi there. Apologies for the delay in replying.
I did try reinstalling, but in then searching the Toshiba Bluetooth Portal under "news" (here is the link http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=news ) it says:
"2011-12-21 TOSHIBA Bluetooth Stack for users without TOSHIBA hardware isn't available anymore"
I'm taking that to mean I can only use a Toshiba bluetooth dongle for it to work. Assuming I am reading it right I am really unhappy about this as I paid 25.90 at the Toshiba Online Store just over 12 months ago for the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack Premium Edition and have had no warning about this suddenly happening.
Have it got it right? Would really appreciate a reply.

  • Toshiba Bluetooth Stack software - Microsoft Office - Problems

    :_| Dear all,
I use a Bluetooth USB dongle to transfer data between my PC and my cellular.
Since installing the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack software (First I used the 5.0 and later upgrading to the latest 6.10.10) I'm having problems with Microsoft Office.
When I try to double click any office document (Word Excel etc.) It takes almost 30 seconds for the Word software to open and then additinal 30 seconds for the office document to open in the software -> almost 60 seconds!!
But when I'm opening the office software from the Strat-Programs-Microsoft Word menu it is opened in nearly 2 seconds!! Nevertheless, while the office is _opened_:
    1. When opening a document threw the File-Open menu it again takes 30 seconds for the document to open.
    2. When trying to open any office document (while the office is open) threw the Windows Explorer it again takes 30 seconds.
Now, I'm writing in Toshiba forum because when I cancel the Bluetooth manager from the _msconfig_ utility and restart, again the PC and Office is working percfectly.
    Please help
    PS
I'm using Windows XP Home SP3

    Dear sir,
Thank you so much for your answer.
However, I'm alredy using the latest Nokia PC Suite which is 7.0.9.2
What do you think now? how can I progress?
Is it the Toshiba software? Is it Nokia software?
    Thanks,
    Danny
    PS
Of course my Windows XP Home is fully "Windows Update".

  • PC Suite 7.1: Widcomm bluetooth stack not detected...

    Hi all,
I have a very interesting question / issue. I have bluetooth dongle on my notebook (Bt-270) and it uses Widcomm bluetooth stack. I can see the driver provider as 'Broadcom', which means Widcomm stack has been installed. But for some reason, when i view detected bluetooth stacks in Nokia Pc Suite > Help > System Info, only 'Microsoft Bluetooth Stack' gets detected an 'Widcomm Bluetooth Stack' is MISSING!
Why is Widcomm missing? I can connect my phone to Pc Suite fine, though.
    I use Nokia Pc Suite 7.1 on Win7 sp1 x64.
    Any comment will be appreciated,
    Thanks a lot!

The Widcomm drivers are probably co-installed with the Microsoft stack as on my machine, meaning you should use the Microsoft stack as detected with PC Suite. Does that work, by the way?
To confirm co-installation, Device Manager > right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Properties > Details > Property. Select "Device co-installers" and see what's displayed under Value.

  • Satellite P750: Unable to install Bluetooth Stack driver on Windows 7 (x64)

    Hello.
    I own a *Satellite P750-02T* (Part no. *PSAY3A-02T001*).
In the order what I did:
    1) I formatted its HDD and reinstalled OS to *Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1*.
Then I downloaded *ONLY BIOS and the drivers* from [its Downloads page|http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] :
    2) I updated its BIOS to *v1.90* (the laptop came with v1.80)
    3) I installed all the drivers:
    - both LAN and WiFi
    - Intel Chipset (latest available)
    - all video drivers (Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA Graphics, and Intel HDMI)
    - Card Reader
    - Realtek HD Audio (latest)
    - Synaptics Touchpad
    - USB3.0
    - IR
    - TV-Tuner
However, I'm *unable to install the Bluetooth driver (v8.00.06(T)* )...
When I run setup from the [above-mentioned page|http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] it partially detects *'Bluetooth USB Controller-10 from TOSHIBA'* (USB\VID_0930&PID_0215&REV_001)
and then installation simply freezes displaying +'Installing the Bluetooth Driver. Please wait+.' and stays like that forever...
I also tried downloading a driver from [another location|http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download-toshiba] for TOSHIBA notebooks - v8.00.02(T):
and followed installation instructions displayed under 'Details'
but there was the same outcome - the setup simply freezes...
Installing Hotfix (*KB978258*) recommended there didn't work either - the message '+The update is not applicable to your computer+' pops up.
And I understand why - this Hotfix is [already included|http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/B/A/EBA55FE2-373A-4351-9346-6D762B79AA69/Updates%20in%20Win7%20and%20WS08R2%20SP1.xls] into Service Pack 1 for MS Windows 7.
I spent hours searching on the Internet for a solution. Although there were some similar cases none of the recommendations actually worked. I tried installing:
    - WiFi driver before installing Bluetooth (someone suggested that those two are the parts of the same card);
    - resuming installation in Safe Mode;
    - *Toshiba Value Added Package* hoping those tools somehow will kick in.
    Nothing worked...
It's interesting that when for the sake of experiment I tried to run installation for my generic Bluetooth adapter (using the driver [for non-TOSHIBA notebooks|http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download]) then everything run smoothly!
*Using Bluetooth connection on this laptop is very crucial for me.*
I hope I shall not have to return this wonderful notebook as I know TOSHIBA is one of the best manufactures and am sure there is a solution to this problem.
    Thank you very much.
    Evgeny.

  • Portege M200: How to rectify Bluetooth Stack upgrade failure

I was upgrading the Bluetooth stack of my portege M200 with the drivers posted on Toshiba's website. during the end my laptop hung up. Had no option but to resatart the same.
Eversince all bluetooth functionality is showing errors, whenever I am trying to reinstall or unisntall the incomplete installation, I get a message that 'look for Bluetooth Stack for Windows from Toshiba.msi' as there is no installtion record of the same.
Now-neither can I uninstall the half installation of the upgrade niether can I re-install the upgrade.
I am in a fix and need help???.
Is there a way to rectify this problem

Still dosent help, when I tried installing the old driver, I guess it looked at the current installation of the new driver and it needed to uninstall that first. I still got the same message 'The feature that you are trying to use is available on another network' and is looking for the file at the following address 'U:\nbtools\__XPT_Tools-CDs\PMR400288EU0 EN FR GR IT Firebolt10 SPM20 XPT CD1\Bluetooth Stack\UK\'.
I am sure that there must be a method to nullify this installation from the registry and install and over-write the new installation completely.
I have never worked on the registry before. I try to recover the system
    Thanks for helping

  • Problem removing bluetooth stack / hidden devices / COM ports not released

    Hi
Having problem completely removing Toshiba Bluetooth stack / hidden devices / com ports not released
    I uninstalled Toshiba BT s/w...
    But:
    1) Toshiba BT hidden devices still appear and I can not remove (get error)
    2) COM ports occupied by Toshiba BT not released (so they cannot be used by another BT stack) and still appear in registry
ex: friendly name Toshiba BT Port (COM4) still in registry
    3) These unreleased com ports do NOT appear in device manager
    Thanks

It seems that you still have some configurations which were not removed during the uninstallation.
This means that the resources can not be release, because those are still necessary in case of a
    new installation of the stack.
The first I would try is the following:
    - Install the latest Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
    - Uninstall it. Ensure that you answer all questions with "yes" ! This means also the one which asks if all configurations should be removed.
    - Reboot
    - Check again

  • Error: Unable to start the bluetooth stack service

    HP Pavilion g7-2017us, Windows 7
After starting up I get the error message: UNABLE TO START THE BLUETOOTH STACK SERVICE.
First, I don't know what that means ... Second, I don't know how to remedy the problem.
Can anyone help please? ... THANKS!

    Steps I would suggest are:
    1. Update Bluetooth Device Driver. Steps to update the device driver:
    i. Click on Start
    ii. Select Control Panel
    iii. Select System and maintenance
iv. Click Device Manager (If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.)
    v. In the Device manager locate the Blue tooth device
vi. Click the Driver tab, and then select Update driver
If its still not fixed go to step 2
    2. Uninstall the Bluetooth device, restart the computer and install the latest drivers.

  • Re: Satellite A300D - Bluetooth Stack can't find a service

    Hello!
I have Satellite A300D with Windows 7 and Bluetooth Stack by Toshiba (ver. 7.00.10)
I 'd like to connect my mobile phone to notebook over bluetooth. I have tried to add a new connection in Bluetooth Stack. BS has found my phone, but coudln't connect to. BS has showed an error message "Unable to find a service" (I have a Russian version of Bluetooth Stack, so I have to translate the message). And I don't know what service is not running, BS give no additional information.
Please, advise me what can i do to solve my problem.

I think you should enable bluetooth service in Administrative tools- Services:

  • Microsoft Wireless Presenter 8000 mouse and Toshiba Bluetooth Stack

Some of the specific functionalities of this MS Bluetooth Mouse do not work with the latest Toshiba Bluetooth Stack : magnifier, digital ink...
The other functions of this mouse (and the remote controller functions too) work perfectly. The magnifier, digital ink, etc..., are working only if the MS USB controller provided with this bluetooth mouse is plugged in.
Many hardware sites and forums are talking about this problem, ie at the end of this page : http://www.hardware-pacers.com/pages.php?catType=r&pid=352&id=968&pageX=on
Is there a chance to have these functions (magnifier, digital ink...) working with a future release of the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack ? Any idea of a delay ? Or any idea of a tip to have this working today ?

Of course : I have installed the latest version of IntelliPoint software. A mouse/remote as sophisticated as the Wireless Presenter 8000 can't work without its software.
But one more time, I speak about a Bluetooth MS Mouse, and what I don't understand is that a few funtionnalities (magnifier, digital ink) only works with the MS USB plug delivered with the mouse.
What I'd like is to use ALL the functionnalities of my bluetooth mouse with only the bluetooth adapter integrated into my Toshiba Libretto U100.
