Bluetooth Stereo jumping issues

Hi all,
Having an issue at the moment when playing back music through my car stereo via Bluetooth every so often the track will just jump for a second and then come back. I've cleared the BT memory and paired the Z2 again and no matter what I do I get the same skipping reoccurring. Has anyone had this issue previously and managed to fix it? Or has anyone any suggestions for a possible fix please?
Thanks in advance,
Pete

How do you mean car update? The head unit is aftermarket not built-in so the car itself does not have Bluetooth. It's worth noting (I forget whether I already did or not) that the Bluetooth streaming works perfectly with my iPhone 5 just not with the Sony. I'm now on my second Xperia Z2 as the first one's call quality was abysmal. While this one seems a **bleep** of a lot better this Bluetooth streaming issue is actually doing my head in and making me want to change phones completely.

  • Bluetooth Stereo Pairing A2DP

I have a couple of Bluetooth Stereo devices that are A2DP compliant - headphones and speakers by Blueant. (When paired to my iMac, when connecting, you are given the option to connect as a headset OR as headphones, as they can work as either). When I pair to my iPhone after the upgrade, they seem to only connect as a telephone headset, and I cannot listen to the iPhone iPod or radio music stations. Am I doing something wrong? I don't seem to have any ability to adjust the Bluetooth settings on the iPhone to connect as stereo headsets. Separately, I thought that I could now pair the iPhone to my iMac to transfer files, etc., but the only Bluetooth services that appear are serial port or modem options. Ideas?

Can you tell me which Motorola headphones you got to work without issues.
I just got a 27" i7 iMac and would like to be able to watch or listen to music without using my external speakers without disturbing the family. This is a really beautiful machine and would love to sit or lay in bed and have the comfort of watching a movie on that HUGH screen!
    thanks
p.s or can you recommend a good bluetooth or wireless stereo headphones that can do the job.

  • Bluetooth stereo and settings

    Hi all.
Got a bit of an issue with my Bluetooth, or more to the point my Alpine car stereo.
I’ve paired it with the iPhone fine and it connects first time every time and all my contacts sync perfect. However the head unit works with iPod/iPhone and connects via a lead to a dock connector. The problem is that if the phone is connected and I start the car, the music plays but as soon as Bluetooth connects, it mutes the music as the device has switched to Bluetooth stereo mode as it thinks it’s a Bluetooth headset?
To get music playing again I have to either disconnect then re-connect the iPhone of turn Bluetooth off.
What I want to know is, is there a way to turn Bluetooth headset off and what do the other settings do on Bluetooth device menu. I think I could guess what they do but I want to confirm to see if any will resolve my problem.
So what do the following do: 'Phone Favourites', 'Phone Recents' then in other groups 'All Contacts' is ticked?
    Thanks in advance

Got a bit further with an answer after speaking to Alpine
Apparently this is known issue from the latest iPhone software update with the 3GS that is affecting many devices. Alpine are aware and their top people have informed Apple who have acknowledged the problem and apparently are working on a fix in the next update
The person I spoke to was surprised the iPhone had no way to turn bluetooth streaming off, i'm not! Another set of options were not allowed to touch, cheers Apple

  • Does the E52 work with Bluetooth stereo headset?

The device details at forum.nokia.com don't list BluetoothStereoAudio as a property of the E52 (it does for 5630).
    Can anybody confirm this?

if nokia specification says it has A2DP and AVRCP, then it is compliant with Bluetooth Stereo no doubt about it...  bluetooth stereo is now a very common capability in many N and E series devices...
The specification does say that it has A2DP and AVRCP. The question here is, if it will work properly. I have experienced problems with a Motorola S9 and N73, S9 and N85, S9 and N95-8GB. The pairing will be perfect, but music breaks and call volume is very low compared to the same S9 when paired with a MotoROKR. In theory, all these phones support A2DP & AVRCP. But still there is an interoperability issue.

  • My brand new iPhone 5 keeps saying "Connection Unsuccessful: Make sure "___" is turned on and in range" when I try to connect to my BlueTooth Stereo.

I just bought a brand new iPhone 5 (White and Gold) and have been having trouble keeping it connected to my BlueTooth Stereo.  The stereo was purchased brand new back in September and is current on all software.  Before I had my iPhone 5, I had the iPhone 4 and had no troubles with it connecting or remembering to connect to the stereo when it was in range.  Now, in order to connect to it, I have to first "forget the device" then search for it again, find it, and connect.  As soon as I turn either the stereo off, turn the iPhone off, or switch modes on the stereo (to CD mode, radio, etc) it loses the connection and does not pick it up again.  It still shows up in my list of available bluetooth devices, but when I try to connect it says "Connection Unsuccessful: Make sure '____' is turned on and in range" which of course, it is.
I bought this stereo because I am a music teacher and use my phone frequently when teaching my classes.  You can probably imagine how cumbersome it becomes when after each class if I have alternated between using my iPhone to play music or switching to CD mode, I then need to "forget the device" and follow the steps I outlined above to get it working again.
Has anyone else had this problem with the new iPhone and does anyone have a solution (I HOPE!!!!!)
    Thanks!

  • Can you use the mic of a bluetooth stereo headset on an iPod touch 2G w/ fi

    Hi guys.
I have a Dell bluetooth stereo headset with mic incorporated.
I want to use this to have conversations with my iPod touch, using voip software.
Can this be done? I'm asking because when I pair the headset with my iPod, the new voice notes app says I don't have any mic.
In case it can't be done, can I use my headset with an added mic, connected to the audio plug in in the touch? I referring to something like this:

  • Bluetooth stereo headsets for E61i?

As E61i does not support A2DP there are no Nokia bluetooth stereo headsets available. But are they totally incompatible or just working mono then? Asking because my notebook supports A2DP and I just need ONE headset for both...

    Hi,
I think that the adapters are the same. You just need to check that both support stereo sound and look about the same.
And of course, you can always go to a shop and test them. (Which is probably best in any case, since what might be the best for someone might not be best for everyone else.)

  • Getting Bluetooth Stereo to Work (A2DP profile)

    IT WORKS!
I was terribly disappointed to learn that Apple didn't include the A2DP Bluetooth stereo profile in the iPhone. Since A2DP Bluetooth stereo is an established and stable standard, I can't think of any reason why Apple would not have included it in the iPhone. Hopefully they will add this as a firmware update, in the near future. In the mean time, I found a work-around.
For more than a year, I have been using the Wi-Gear, iMuffs MA110, Bluetooth dock adaptor on my conventional iPod, with great success. My Motorola HT820 headset worked simultaneously with both my cell phone and the MA110 on my iPod. The iPod would automatically pause, when a phone call came in. It was really great and best of all, NO WIRES!
Well, when I got my iPhone home and activated, one of the first things that I did, was to embark on finding a way to get rid that archaic wired headset that comes with the iPhone. The answer turned out to be rather simple, though somewhat irritating. I plugged my MA110 Bluetooth adaptor into the dock of the iPhone. The iPhone asked if I wanted to go into "Airplane Safe" mode. I responded "No." About 10 seconds later, I heard the beep in my Motorola HT820 headset, indicating that syncing had been successful.
I went to iTunes on the iPhone and picked a tune and it played over my HT820 headset. All of the headset controls worked (Play, Pause, FF, REW, Skip, Next) Then, I used my landline to call my iPhone. The music faded and I was able to use the phone function over the HT820.
The only glitch is that when I pause the music for too long, the iPhone removes power from the dock connector, which turns off the MA110 adaptor. This requires activating the iPhone screen and waiting for the MA110 to re-sync with the HT820 headset, before you can use it again. This only applies to pauses that were NOT instigated by a phone call or when you hang up a call and don't start the music again, right away. When you are on a phone call, the dock power stays active.
The irritating part is that Apple's limitations requires me to have a Bluetooth adaptor, at all. At least, the MA110 is quite small and unobtrusive. It's about the size of a quarter and about as thick as three quarters stacked. It's small enough to fit through the dock opening in most carrying cases. See the image here:
    http://ActionAmerica.org/images/iPhone-iMuffs.jpg
Note: Your Bluetooth headset must be turned on, BEFORE you plug in the iMuffs MA110, if syncing is to be successful. The same applies to re-activating the dock power after long pauses. Also, the first time you sync your headset to the MA110, you will probably have to put the headset into "Discover Me" mode.
I hope that this helps some of you.
It's not a great fix, but it should hold us, until Apple gets their Bluetooth act together.

what i want to know is if a2dp is entirely a software thing and thus we know its simply a matter of firmware update, or is it hardware related at all meaning that it might not even be possible for iPhone1.0 to ever support stereo via bluetooth? is it possible that the muffs bluetooth adapter has special hardware not in the iPhone is the reason it works?
if its just a matter of firmware, i can only assume its just a matter of time until this is fixed...but does seem a pretty glaring omission. I wish Apple would make some comments on things like this... i really like the look of the motorola rockr bluetooth headsets, and dont want to buy some momo single earpiece one now if stereo is coming soon...

  • Need bluetooth stereo head phones

Does anyone know where i can buy a set of nokia bluetooth stereo headphones (model BH-503). Getting no joy from the australian customer care center, which for some useless reason seems to be based in india. I am desperate. Have broken two sets of the earlier BH-501 model as they have a design fault (no wonder nokia is now giving them away) and hope BH-503 has been designed with this fault in mind. (they have to be daft if they don't already know about the fault, and the fact that BH-501 is 'close moulded' and therefore not repairable).

  • Bluetooth Headset / Earpiece Issues

My Jawbone bluetooth earpiece worked well with my original iPhone and 3GS but does not with the new iPhone 4. I heard bluetooth was an issue but I am only reading about tethering and phone to phone noncompatability. I heard it doesn't work with FaceTime either.
I just want to be able to use it with a phone call. It randomly drops and reconnects, etc. Very unreliable. I have had my phone since June and do not even carry my earpiece around with me anymore. Any info or news on this issue and a firmware update?

I've been having this same issue since I bought the iPhone 4. I'm really disappointed! I don't think I'll buy another iPhone for issues like this. I've spent a lot of money on the earpieces that I like to use and NONE of them give me good results with the phone.
I really would not expect an issue like this to go on for so long. This iteration of the iPhone has rendered my investments in high quality earpieces worthless pieces of junk.

  • Stereo mixer issue on last CC oct 2014

    Hello,
last version of CC oct 2014 seems to have a stereo mixer issue.
When you apply it to an audio file, if you put keys form 100 to 0, at 0 the sound that you can hear pop up to 100, even if the key is at 0...
I add an issue report, but nobody answer.

I upgrade this post with more tests i've done:
I've tried a timeline with a separated workstation, completely isolated and a local storage.
An iMac 27", core i7 and 8 GB Ram.
I've placed a timeline 1920x1080 p50 and tested with multiple Operative systems.
The Ram consumption is the same on both Mac OS 10.9.5, 10.10, and 10.10.1 while it's slightly better on 10.10.2.
Is it possible no one ever noticed this issue, or i'm missing something?
