Bluetooth toolbar icon displays incorrect battery percentage

For the past week or so, my macbook pro bluetooth toolbar icon has been displaying very incorrect battery percentages for my bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse.
Using the 'ioreg' tool from teh command line, I can get correct information (both my keyboard and mouse are around 45% battery).
See below image for the incorrect battery percentage.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to correct this problem?
Thanks,
Matt

This is a new issue with 10.6.7.  Eventually the battery percent will start to decrease.  Not much can be done until Apple provides a fix.
There is a widget you can use in dashboard in the meantime.

  • Incorrect battery percentage on my iPhone 4

I have an iPhone 4 and in the past few days it has been showing the incorrect battery percentage. The other day I charged my phone all night and woke up with only %7 battery so I turned it off, but when I turned it back on I had %100. It also keeps dying when I get to only %60.

  • 2.1 firmware update displays incorrect battery meter

After installing firmware 2.1 on my iphone I started noticing my battery meter displaying the incorrect charge level. I charged it in full yesterday, and this morning I still had more than half the battery meter. I checked 10 minutes later and the meter was now showing 10% left with the red battery meter.
I went ahead and charged it again , used it for a while and now noticed that the battery meter is not only showing the incorrect amount left (still) but shows a different battery status on different menu screens. Shows battery meter to be full in the home screen and half the meter on an app, email ,etc.
Firmware 2.1 has definitely messed up the meter!
inaccurate reading on the battery meter , someone else has to be experiencing this same problem.
let me know if someone else has this same problem !

try draining out the battery first and then recharge it, see if that shows an accurate. I had that happen to me on the 2.02 update. The battery meter was inaccurate. Like when i reached 20% it was actually at 50% when i plug it in to charge. So i did sent them a feedback about it. So I'm hoping that the 2.1 fixes this issue. So far my battery is showing at 100%.
Usually for me at the end of the day after a full charge in the morning, the battery meter would go down 1 bar. So i'll have to wait and see.

  • ITunes App icon displays incorrect number of updates

Am currently running iTunes 11.03 but this issue has been around for several months. The App icon in iTunes indicates there are 38 updates available. After downloading them and syncing with my iPhone 3GS, the icon contiues to indicate 38 updates being available. Is there a way to reset the update counter?

When the export conversion completed, the correct number of songs was displayed on both libraries. Thank You.

  • Openbox titlebar icons displaying incorrectly

Searched around but can't find anything.
Most openbox themes (OMG-Dark, Onyx, Clearlooks) don't display the window titlebar icons properly.
I've attached a screen shot - the top right hand corner shows what the icons look like. I viewed the xbm files for the icons in /usr/share/themes and the icons aren't malformed or anything.
Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?
    Openbox version: 3.5.2
    Thanks..

  • Sidebar Icons Displaying Incorrectly

I recently used LiteIcon to change how my folder icons look (because the oversaturated blue folders in Yosemite are ugly, in my opinion) and in the process, it messed up my sidebar icons. They now look like this:
When they used to look like this:
I did this one time before I updated LiteIcon and it did the exact same thing but I thought they would've fixed this since the update. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's driving me up the walls every time I open my finder.

The network activity "spinner" will move to the other side of the time if there is not much visible space on the left-hand side. When network name is long and there are other symbols on that left side like a VPN and such.

  • Sweet - battery percentage on screen

I just found out you can display the Battery Percentage on your screen next to the battery icon in the upper right-hand corner. Guess I was unaware of this. Go to Settings > General > Usage to turn it on. Pretty sweet little feature I think.

  • OS X Yosemite - Battery Percentage 'Stuck'

I recently updated my laptop (Macbook Pro 15" Early 2011) to OS X Yosemite from OS X Lion and have found that the battery percentage up in the top menu bar no longer displays the right information. It's almost as though it isn't updating at all to what the battery level should be. The only time that it 'updates' is when I turn the 'Show Percentage' option off and on - then the icon and the battery percentage changes to what it should be at. However, it then sticks at that until I turn 'Show Percentage' off and on again. It happens when charging too going the other way, I could have it on charge for hours from 8% or so and it'll stick at that number despite being fully charged until I 'update' it as per the above. I could even unplug the charger and it still displays the 'charging' icon rather than switching to the battery icon (despite the battery depleting as normal).
Also, whenever I charge it to 'full', it only ever gets to 98% now and says that the 'Battery is Charged'. I've attached a screenshot to show.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi ..
Open System Preferences > Energy Saver then select the Battery tab.
    Click:  Restore Defaults
    Then monitor the battery percentages.
If that didn't help, open the Finder.
From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.systemuiserver.plist file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac then monitor the battery percentage in the menu bar.

  • OneKey Optimizer: Showing battery time instead of battery percentage

So I just downloaded OneKey Optimizer for my Lenovo Z50-70 and there's a green battery icon on the lower right corner of my desktop. Sometimes it'll display the battery percentage, but most of the time it'll display the predicted amount of time the battery has left to sustain my laptop. How can I change the program so that it only displays percentage?

I'm having the same problem too. My mom has a Yoga 2 13 and for some reason it did not come with OneKey Optimizer already on it. I downloaded it today from Lenovo's website and though some of the options on that app are on my computer but not on her app on hers, it works just fine. However, I can't seem to figure out how to change her battery icon from telling her the approximate time until the battery dies to showing the battery percentage, like it does on mine.
Every time she plugs in the charger, though, the battery percentage displays itself on her battery icon, no doubt because it can't exactly tell how long it will take the battery to run out when it is plugged in, but when she unplugs the charger cord, it reverts back to showing how many hours and minutes it will last. This is very frustrating to her. I haven't been able to find answers to this question anywhere on the internet, so I hope someone will promptly repost a solution to this problem.

  • Menu toolbar icons not displayed in colour when deployed on the Web

    Hello!
We are developing an application using Forms6i on Windows NT.
Our problem is that menu toolbar icons are not displayed in colour when the application is deployed on the Web using lookAndFeel = generic. This is the case both when using Microsoft IE5 and Netscape 4.5. When lookAndFeel = oracle, however, the icons are displayed in colour.
The icons are stored as *.gif files in the same directory as the application *.html file. It does not help to create a virtual path /web_icons/ in the www listener and edit the parameter default.icons.iconpath in the file Registry.dat.
When running the application as client/server, the menu toolbar icons are displayed in colour as expected.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
