Bluetooth turns off

The bluetooth turns of automatically when i turn it on
Just after 10 seconds
And when i send afile also after short time it turns off by itself

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

  • Bluetooth turn off - Control center

    Hi,
I use bluetooth to answer my calls however when I turn off the bluetooth from control center it shows that bluetooth turned off and the small icon at top goes away however if I look at the settings-> bluetooth it shows as ON. when I go inside the bluetooth option the button is in OFF mode. So there may be bug in displaying the correct status of bluetooth or it does not get switched off.
I am posting this at this forum as I can not post it under BugReport.
    Thanks,
    ABJT

I am getting below error, I am sending mail to mentioned ID with the Bug details.

  • Bluetooth turns off, needs restart to come back on

I'm using a 17" Imac G5 w/ power pc processor, no isight. It came with bluetooth installed at the factory. Software is 10.4.11. I recently bought a new wireless aluminum keyboard and wireless mighty mouse (on ebay, boxes were sealed). They worked fine for the first month or so. Now, they started randomly losing connection, but not really when I am using them. It seems that when the screen saver comes on it causes the issue.
I'll go to the bluetooth set up page both trough system prefs, or through the bluetooth icon in the upper right, so I can rediscover them, or delete them and pair again. However, when I click to add new device, both after having deleted them and without, and it gives me a message that bluetooth needs to be turned on. So I click the option to turn it on, and nothing happens. When I go back to the settings for bluetooth in the prefs menu, it confirms that bluetooth is off, and the button next to the status text to turn it on is greyed out and can't be clicked.
The only way I can get bluetooth to come back on is to start the computer. I'm really just guessing about the screen saver activating it. Usually the screen saver comes on because I've gotten up for a while. When I think about it, if I'm still sitting by the computer when it goes to screen saver, and I start using it again quickly, the mouse and keyboard work fine.
I'm really fed up with it, it seems a lot of people are having similar issues. I use this computer as a living room internet browser, so I really need the flexibility of the wireless so it can be used from the couch (its on an end table and not a desk). If anybody has any good suggestions, please let me know. I'm confident that the issue is not with the keyboard or mouse, because when they stop working, system prefs always shows me that bluetooth is off. Why does it keep turning off! Why? Why won't it let me turn it back on again, why?

  • My Ipad2 bluetooth turns off by itself

The bluetooth has to be restarted every time I power up the IPAD and sometimes it turns off while IPAD is in use. Has anyone else expierenced this. I reset the pad with no success.

you know how there are three buttons on top of the iPod- two for volume and one to make your iPod sleep or wake or turn off. if you would like to listen to music while running and so that you wouldn't touch the screen by accident, you have to push the button once. and when you want the screen to pop on again, all you have to do is press the button again. it should work so that if you turn the music on and step-counter on and then put it on "fade-mode", all your actions should stay working. and as soon as you press the button again, everything should appean on-screen.
what i was trying to say before was that my iPod turn compleately off when i would like to run or listen to music and so i lose all the data

  • Bluetooth turns off on G4 tower

After enabling the Bluetooth options on my G4 tower, when I restart the machine, it turns off. How can I leave it on forever? By the way, I have the Iogear USB Bluetooth device plugged in.

    Hi,
I bought my Z1c two weeks ago and with first start it was updated to Android 4.4.2, Build Nr. 14.3.A.0.681 - so I do not have any comparison to older Android versions...
I charge the phone in the evening (100% battery) and leave it overnight unused. In the morning (after 8,5h) only 80% battery are left - this is NOT normal!?! The signal strength is 3/4, WLAN is OFF, Bluetooth is ON.
Bluetooth: I use it only in my car. In the night the car is in the garage - and of course switched off, and I see no BT connection on the phone.
But I thought BT could be the problem, so I switched it off on the phone. And now it gets really strange (at least for me):
BT ON: After 8,5h battery on 80%, according to Kitkat battery overview BT used 51% battery (CPU 2h23m, active 8h)
BT OFF (!!!): After 11h battery on 79%, according to Kitkat battery overview BT used 51% battery (CPU 2h18m, active 10h)
I installed the GSAM battery monitor app (for me again strange):
BT ON: After 8,5h on battery it shows Bluetooth 1,2%, App usage 90,5% (Kernel Android is 89,8%)
BT OFF: After 11h on battery it shows Bluetooth 0%, App usage about 80% (Kernel Android was also about 80%)
    ==> What drains the battery?
==> Why is Bluetooth shown with 50% in Android battery overview, even when it is switched OFF?
==> Why does GSAM battery monitor shows only minor battery usage by Bluetooth?
    Additional info:
I rebooted the phone at least three times in the last days - nothing changed
I use NO facebook apps or others like this
I have only about 4 (!) apps installed - all (!!!) were used on my old HTC Desire S (Android 4.x?) with great battery life
WLAN is switched OFF all the time
    Auto-sync is switched OFF
    So what can I do???
    Thank-you very much!

  • BH 104 bluetooth turns off?!

I just boght a bluetooth BH 104 headset. I needed a headset that stays connected when charging. I tested it at the store and it does.
What I did not need, is a headset that turns itself off, after a few minutes, if it's not connected to a phone! It doesn't say nowere in the manual that it has a timeout!
I want it allways on, so when I get in my car (where I leave it on during the night) it automaticly connects to my phone when it get in range!
I have read the manual several times. It says, you press a key to turn it on, and the same key to turn it off. It says nowhere that it shutsoff by itself.
I dont want to need to turn it on, every time I get in the car! I forget! Then I need to turn it on when I get a phone call, and it's not practical and takes too long to pair! That's why I feel I've been wronged by nokia!
Any help? can the self-shutoff be turned off?

evn im interested for nokia BH104..thnkz for enlightnin me wit de fact..by the way howz de performance and stuff..do leemme kn abt it or mail me on [email protected]

  • Bluetooth turns off automatically from time to time

    Hi,
my Z1Compact is on Kitkat, I bought it and before using it I updated to Kitkat and also did the .757 update when it was out. I have Bluetooth always on, but it is only connected to the hands-free car kit for 30-60 minutes in the morning and then again in the evening.
I recognized in the last weeks that Bluetooth switches off automatically/ on its own from time to time, maybe once in 1-3 days - I can switch it back on and it stays on, no matter if connecting/ disconnecting the car or connecting/ disconnecting to the charger; but then I suddenly see that Bluetooth is off again. Battery NEVER was below 50%, normally more than 70% as I don't use it often...
Today again: I got into the car and after two minutes I recognized that the car was not connected with the phone. I looked at the phone (just at the lock screen) and Bluetooth was running. I selected the phone from the Bluetooth menu of the car and tried to start the connection "manually" - the car finally gave up. After some minutes I looked at the phone again a saw that Bluetooth was switched off - although I didn't touch it during that time...!!! I switched Bluetooth on again and everything was fine...
This is quite annoying because when I'm in the car I would like to be able to rely on the hands-free car kit
    Has anyone an idea?
    Thank-you very much!

  • Bluetooth turned off - Name not available

I have a no-name bluetooth usb device for my iMac, which installs fine without drivers etc.
However, every time I reboot or put the computer to sleep, the bluetooth device is set to OFF, and I cannot turn it on in the Bluetooth control panel (option grayed out with status "Name not available).
I can, however, get it to work by opening Bluetooth File Exchange, which then gives me the possibility to "Turn Bluetooth On" (the solution is from http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7854265).
How come it won't stay turned on?

Create a new, temporary admin account and see if you can set it up in that account.

  • HT204368 Why does connection to a bluetooth device turn off all sounds but the ring tone?

I have a Bernafon bluetooth device that connects via bluetooth to my iPhone 4 running iOS6 and routes the telephone through my hearing aids however, it appears that connecting via bluetooth turns off all sounds other than the incoming call ring tone.  This has caused me to miss several time sensitive text messages and emails.  Does anyone have a solution?

Without knowing what DAQ Hardware you have and what version of NI-DAQ you are using, it's hard to say exactly how to resolve this. However, I would suggest using the Intermediate and Advanced Digital VIs rather than the Easy VI because you have more control. There are examples that ship with LabVIEW and examples online that should assist you. There is also a KnowledgeBase 24BECT4U that may be helpful.

  • Bluetooth stuck off

ive had a problem with bluetooth in leopard that i didnt have with tiger. basically bluetooth turns off and theres no option to turn it back on. i can usually get it back on by unplugging the bluetooth module (not airport since i have an old imac and it didnt have airport and i got a free bluetooth module and its always worked fine) and plugging it back in. if it goes into sleep, is restarted, idle for a significant amount of time it just shuts off and doesnt come back on. is there a proper way to fix this besides downgrading back to tiger? my sister has a macbook with leopard and airport so i know its the fact that im using leopard with a non-airport bluetooth module. i would love to get this fixed cause its a great easy way to get pictures off my phone. its a windows smartphone that doesnt work with the mac through usb so dont tell me to do it that way. :P
ill try to add the screenshot of what i mean.

its an old iogear bluetooth module. i love leopard but things are getting at me like x11 and the fact that i dont get a transparent menu bar too but thats another topic...

    No, I didn't try it.
Resetting the network settings and rebooting did work.
    Thank you very much!

  • My wifi wasn't working for more than 10 minutes at a time after updating to IOS8 and resetting network settings. I turned off google drive, turned off Bluetooth, reset network settings and rebooted my iPad4. So far so good.

I have an ipad4.  Wifi keeps cutting out after the upgrade even after I forget the network and resign on or reset all network settings. I deleted iCloud drive from my iPad, turned off Bluetooth, reset network settings, and rebooted my iPad. Since I upgraded to IOS8 this is the longest wifi has consistently been working for me. Which is approximately an hour now. Anyone else find that this worked or have figured out if this or anything out there is a permanent fix?

    Hi CollinGCC78,
It sounds like you have been on the right track in troubleshooting this issue. If you are still having issues, you may want to double-check the steps outlined in the following article, in order if possible (apologies for replicating any steps you have already taken):

  • After connecting to Bluetooth keyboard, iPad 2 will not connect to Internet (wifi) at all. Wifi is ok, have tried turning off bltooth, wifi on iPad. It sees the network but won't connect.  Help?  Have also reset network settings etc

My iPad wifi was working great until I I connected it by Bluetooth to a keyboard (zagg).  It was the first time I'd used Bluetooth
Immediately Internet was dropped on my ipad. My iPhone was and is still connected no prob. And I cannot get the iPad wifi to work again....at all!!!
This is major as I am away from my desktop for three months.  Any fix cannot involve being at my desktop with iTunes which is 10,000 km away
So far This is what I've tried based on other discussions-
-turned Bluetooth off and unpaired to keyboard which was also turned off
    - turned iPad wifi off and on (several times)
    - forgot the network I useArrive Jul 19 depart Aug 25th. Originally it was Sept 9.
    -- reset network settings
What happens is that the iPad sees the network and I enter my password. But, instead of getting "check mark" indicating a successful connections it keeps "circling".  Sometimes the airport bars will show, but disappear or flicker.  It never connects with a check noted in settings.   Any attempts to use internet confirm there is no connection
My network is not a cafe or public network. It is one I regularly use here at my family's home where I am visiting
    Any ideas!

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router. Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

  • AppleScript to turn off Bluetooth after an hour of no usage

I'm interested in making an AppleScript that will turn off Bluetooth after a bluetooth device is not used for (let's say) one hour. The script should run only on battery life, not when the computer is plugged in.
Any ideas on how to start? Thanks.

I don't think there's any way (at least easy way) to do this.
AppleScript is very good at initiating events, but not good at responding to them. As such it's not easy to write a script in this manner. About the only way to do this would be to have a stay-open script that periodically checks the list of connected devices and keeps track of when the last bluetooth device was used - however, there's a big difference between being 'used' and being 'connected'... you may have a bluetooth headset 'connected', but if you're not running any audio apps it might not be used, and that's hard to AppleScript to determine.

  • HT201401 since iSO 7.02 update bluetooth with my car is no longer working at all. also can no longer access my mail! the browser is turned off and I can not turn it back on!!!!!

last week my phone was automatically updated after a trip to Europe, now I can no longer access gmail because the browser capability for cookies has been turned off and I can NOT get it back on. Before the trip bluetooth was on partially working with my car and now since the newest update works no more in any form. Anyone else having these problems? Need help!!

As far as automatic update, the iOS cannot be updated without user intervention, so it could not have been automatically updated.
You need to provide more information about your mail. Does this mean you cannot access the Mail app, you cannot download mail, or what? Not sure why you cannot access the cookies setting in Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Block Cookies>set to what  you want.
Problems with 3rd party Bluetooth devices, such as car audio, etc., generally has to do with vehicle manufacturers not providing updates to match the current Bluetooth stacks that are found in today's phones. You can go into the phone and remove the pairing for the car, and then go into car settings and remove the iphone. Then put both devices back into pairing mode and attempt to connect them again. See this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581

  • This is a hint to anyone who cannot find their airprint printer from their ipad:  after 10 hours of trying everything imaginable, i can now print directly from my iPad by turning off the bluetooth in settings and waiting for 30 seconds.  presto!

after spending a full day and a half trying everything imaginable, i finally found a way to get my ipad to find my new airprint capable  printer.  I could print from email or the cloud, but not directly from my ipad.  After reading a discussion about bluetooth printers, i turned off bluetooth in settings, waited 30 seconds, and voila!!  I was able to print directly from my ipad.  Try it if you are having troubles

    Greetings,
I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
    Good Luck - Cheers,
    M.
