Hi i bought a 6230 round a year ago and my original sim chip got lost so i bought a brand new one, same network(O2)and ever since then my bluetooth wont switch on.
does anyone know how to fix this????

T41 Bluetooth wont switch on.

Hi all,
I recently bought a T41 2373-4PG for spares/repair with the common GPU fault and with no RAM or HDD. I re-flowed the GPU in my reflow oven and fixed that fault, I then fitted 512mb RAM and 80gb HDD. I bought a T41 restore disk off ebay and got the laptop working. Immediately it all worked OK - including the bluetooth however after a couple of weeks and some windows updates and software installs the bluetooth stopped working all together. I have tried to switch the bluetooth on using fn+f5 but the light does not light up and it does not appear in the device manager.
The bluetooth card fitted was a BMDC200 91P7315. I had a spare BMDC 93P3471 which I fitted but on boot I got a message something along the lines of " unauthorized daughter card fitted please remove and reboot". I bought a replacement card the same as the one I removed but still have the same problem.
I do not know if it is a coincidence but around the time of the bluetooth not working I started to get an error on shutdown of "End program - Sample. This program is not responding ....." I then have to click "end now" 3 times before it will shut down.
Up until this point I was really happy with this laptop and would even go as far as to say it is the best laptop I have ever owned!!
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Blackberry Device Manager can't find 9320 Bluetooth device (even Bluetooth is switched on and set to Discoverable)

I want to sync my Blackberry 9320 via Bluetooth to a Windows 7 Professional machine using a Bluetooth adapter. Syncing using USB cable works fine.
I can Bluetooth pair with the 9320 and also send / receive files to /from the Windows 7 machine. Fantastic !
HOWEVER, Blackberry Device Manager can not find the 9320 Bluetooth device (even Bluetooth is switched on and set to Discoverable) - see screen shots below.
By the way I have already tried (amongst other things) “Manually Install RIM Virtual Serial Ports in Microsoft® Windows® 7” on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK2n5dHxGHI Unfortunately, this does now work - the drivers do load up OK and remove the warning signs when view in Windows Device Manager, but Blackberry Device Manager still can't see my 9320.
Please help !

I have the exact same problem with my 9360. I have also tried all the fixes I could find on the Internet with no luck. I have posted a request as well. I will let you know if I find a solution. What gets me though is that this appears to be a long standing issue with no obvious fix! Best of luck.

Brand new 5s turned itself off, now wont switch back on?

Using my phone was at about 20% battery, put it in my pocket and went to use 5 mins later and screen is black and wont switch back on. Has been sitting on charge for about 25 minutes and still nothing even when pressing or holding the home button or top switch. It was fresh out the box yesterday so less than 24hrs old! Any ideas?

Keep in mind, the iPhone is really a mini-computer, & like all computers, sometimes(although rare with an iPhone) needs to be re-booted.
For all pratical purposes, that's what a reset is.

I bought this laptop for like 3 weeks ago. It all worked fine, and suddenly it wouldnt auto switch when i plugged in my headphones.
My headphones are working all fine on other PCs, but i wont switch when i plug in!

I have the same problem when installing DJ softwares like Virtual DJ or Traktor, the software takes sole control of the (3.5 mm line-out) headphones playback, the other software plays on integrated speakers. I want to force all sound through my headphones.

Hi; If it is your carrier that is trying to be activated then you will need to take it to them (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc...) and have them fix it for you.

Get it serviced either by Apple or a third party repair company. The choice is yours. There is no telling what the exact cause of the issue is whether it be a dead battery or another damaged internal component.

i hate to ask a dumb question, but I've made this mistake as well ...
Are you sure the Hold button is off?
Also plugging it in to a power supply other than having it run off it's battery might help.

Ipod nano wont switch off

I have a 4g ipod nano. I went away for a month and left it at home unused, only to find when I got back it now wont switch off when I hold the middle button of the click wheel and stays permantly on. I have tried to restore and reset it, and yes, the hold button is off.

Well first, you're supposed to hold down the "play/pause" button to put the iPod to sleep. Try that and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, press and hold the select and menu button at the same time until the screen goes black/blank. This is a soft reset of your iPod. Your music will be safe.

please help me..
my ipod wont switch off..i hv a 30GB ipod video..
normally it will switch off automatically after a few mins if i dont play songs, but recently it wont switch off and it's using up the battery!
and when i press hold Play button to switch off manually, it doesnt hv any effect..

I think this is some type of bug. I have had this problem with my iPod photo and now my 5th gen. iPod.
It's most noticeable after ejecting the iPod from the computer. It takes a short while before you an turn the iPod off. Sometimes it will not turn off when viewing a video. So hit the menu button and start playing a song - then it will probably turn off. It's a bug because the iPod will sense the button press by changing the top porting of the display (toggling time etc..) but it simply won't turn off. I wonder if it's something to do with the hard drive spinning at the moment???
Anyway, try playing a song and try again.
