Menu bar not available in "preview site in browser"

I have been building a website using Muse 5.0 and previewing the site in Safari 7.0
When I name the second child page "Apparel" and then Preview site in browser, the menu is gone...
When I change the name to "Clothing" in the plan mode
and then Preview site in browser, the menu appears
I am new to Muse but familiar with other Adobe products...this has stumped me.
Please advise as I need to get this project finished.

Previewing site in browser

When I go to preview my site in the browser everything loads
fine the first time around, but then when I try to go back to a
page (say the homepage) I get a pop up message that says "No file
exists at the address "name of address" " What do I need to do to
fix this? Thanks.

that is a temporary file that Dw creates when you press f12.
Dw erases it when you are done using it.
basically- don't worry about it. The f12 local "preview in
browser" page is
just that, a preview of the CURRENT page you are working on.
Dw converts any
root relative paths to document relative.
When you click a link on this f12 preview in browser page,
you are looking
at the files directly from the hard drive, with no conversion
of root
relative paths. That's why some images were missing in your
previous
question.
What i'm guessing now is that you using F12, and viewing the
TMP page.
Then clicking a link on it, and viewing a page directly 'as
is' on the hard
drive.
then clicking a link on THAT page, which is root relative.
So the browser is told to go to:
C:/pagename.html which doesn't exist.
Fix method number one:
Ignore it. If this site has it's own domain name, and is
correctly defined,
it will work as intended when uploaded. The F12 preview in
browser will
work. Just don't go clicking links on the F12 temp page.
If it bothers you, hunt down and change any root relative
paths to document
relative paths.

Adobe Muse: "Preview page in browser" and "preview site in browser" functions have stopped working.

Working one day then not the next. Firefox just spins. The preview button works, as does the publish function.

Something else to add: When Firefox finally timed out it displayed the full url. Copying and pasting that into Safari and everything works. So it seems in someway this is a Firefox issue or a Muse -Firefox connection issue.
So the new question is: how can I change the browser Muse chooses to use when I select these two functions?

Adobe Muse will use OS default browser for preview the page/site in browser. So you can change the default browser and preview the site again.
Also, try to troubleshoot Firefox, using their official documentation

Pixelated images when in preview mode on iMovie, but when I pause it the images become clear. How do I fix this?

I just bought the latest version of iMovie and I am on 10.9.4. I transferred my slideshow from the old iMovie to the new one and almost all the pictures become pixelated when in preview mode. Yet when I pause it, the picture becomes clear. What do I do? It's driving me insane!

After more attemps at cropping Im noticing that the saved version is unzoomed, so if I move the zoom bar just a tad the image becomes instantly sharp. But sadly that doesnt help me because iphoto will only let me save it and post it online as the unsharp pixulated version. Can anyone please help me!

Photoshop blurs image when opening jpeg from Nikon

My photoshop in CS6 blurs an image when opening a Jpeg this only happens on my own devices, so for example if the photo is taken on nikon DSLR, ipad or iphone. any other image, i.e. stock and downloaded and its fine.
I just cant figure out what the problem is, but essentially all my photos are uneditable because of the blurring. can any help?

If OpenGL drawing is disabled, then the video driver isn't too likely. Most of the problems in drivers show up with OpenGL drawing enabled.
But printer drivers and fonts can sometimes cause issues.
And there's always a chance that the video driver is failing at something simple (like drawing a menu or cursor).

My iPhone 5 camera gives a blurred image when taking photos with the device, how can i fix that

i have had my iPhone 5 for almost a year now and have been suffering from this problem for quiet a while now, when taking pictures with my iPhone 5 the result is a blurred image, i dont know why the focus of the image is so bad !

MAke sure teh problem is not do to camera shake by holding it firmly on a solid surface and taking a picture of something in the 10-20 foot range. If that rules out shake, and the image is blurred, take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar and have it examined. Backup all of your content in iCloud in case the verdict is a replaement iPhone, they can resore your content from an iCloud backup.

Why are there white spaces between my images when I preview my html design on a web browser?

I am creating an email newsletter with Dreamweaver CC and after being unable to find a way to use layers I opted to create the entire image in Photoshop and then break it into pieces to create the image links. I'm using tables and I have the padding and everything set to "0", but when I view it in the browser there are white spaces between each image. It looks solid in Dreamweaver, but in pieces on web browsers. I do not understand how or why this happened and I cannot figure out how to fix it. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I only used Photoshop for the layout. Then I created web-safe images for everything that I used for Dreamweaver. I uploaded the images to the internet and then image sourced them into the code so that they will be viewed properly in the correct circumstances. I haven't used HTML since about 2004 and I wasn't very good then. I've just been thrown back into it and I'm pretty much learning as I go. This is my second attempt because I wanted to make the newsletter more eye-catching. My first one is very basic and without a background image at all and that looks fine in pretty much all email clients. I tested it with Litmus. All except for Windows Live Mail, where the images didn't act as links but as static images. It works fine with the others I tested manually. Those being Gmail, Yahoo and AOL. I will try the display:block and get back to you. Thanks for your suggestions.

Preview sites in browser

I have a problem with the mac i own. I have an emac with OSx
version 10.4.8 (tiger) and i also installed dreamweaver 8, but when
im going to preview the site, the css style doesnt work,because it
has safary and firefox as the web browsers, and it changes the
order of the whole site. I would like to know how can I solve this
problem, because I can`t install explore, because the last version
it`s to old and it doesn`t run in OS tiger. thanks for your
help.

Suggestion- use a Document Relative path for the CSS file
link, or Enable
using Temporary Files for Preview in Browser.
dw menu-->View-->View Head Items
click to select the css link, and use the browse to file icon
in the
property inspector. change the pulldown in the browse to file
dialog box to
"relative to document" instead of relative to site root.

Blurred image when picking highest available resolution

Hi all,
I do apologize if this issue was discussed somewhere else on this forum - I could not find any related post so I decided to start this topic.
A few words of introduction - I am using 27'' dell ultra-sharp (U2711) with my old nvidia GeForce GTX 570. Everything works fine when I connect both devices directly (DVI). I used to work on 2560x1440 resolution.
I am using the same screen to connect my business laptop where I run win7 and I do that through HDMI.
I was finding it a bit frustrating to have to switch input source on screen and switch keyboards every time I wanted to do some work on the other machine so I got nice 4 ports StarView KVM.
First I connected laptop - this time I docked it and used DVI lead. Everything worked fine, win7 detected correct screen resolution and picture is nice and sharp.
The problem is that when I connected my Arch box I get blurry picture when running on usual resolution. I have to drop down to 1680x1050 in order to be able to read or use my computer at all.
First I thought there might be some problem with X suddenly not detecting my screen correctly but there is no complaint in xorg log.
Then I thought that maybe DVI leads I use got broken - so I brought new cables and problem is still there.
I also was trying to use second DVI input rather than first one - no joy.
This is how picture looks like when I set 2560x1440 resolution:

Guys, I know this seems to be somewhat non-standard issue but maybe you can point me out to the right direction?

How are you copying a section of the file? When you say you "copy" from the PDFs, does that mean that you are not inserting the entire original PDF file? If you insert the entire file (or simply drag it onto the page), the quality will be preserved. However, most ways of copying a portion of a PDF involve making a low-resolution (rasterized) version of the copied portion.
If you only want a small section of the PDF, one way around this problem is to open the original PDF in Preview, then use the Select tool to select the area you want, and then choose Crop from the Tools menu, and do a Save As of the resulting file. This procedure will preserve the quality of the PDF, and just create a new PDF file. You should be able to drag this new file into Pages without a loss of quality.
The better way, however, may be to simply use Pages' Mask with Shape functionality. Insert (or drag) the original PDF into Pages. Then create a new shape on top of the PDF image, sizing and placing it where you want the visible section to be. Then, select both the shape and the PDF, and from the Format menu choose Mask with Shape. The part of the PDF outside of the shape will be "masked" or hidden, and the quality should be preserved. Also, an advantage of this method is that you can go back and edit the mask to show more or less of the PDF (and even have non-rectangular masks, if you like).

Blurred images when using photoshop to edit I-photo

I set my iphoto up so photoshop is the editor of choice. but whenever i go to edit an image, even with it being crystal clear, it blurs when opened in photoshop.
I cannot find this problem online at all, can anyone help?

But what size are you setting them at?
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
If you're using Raw then in the iPhoto Preferences -> Advanced, elect to use Raw with your External editor
You cannot save a Raw. The work you do must be output to a new file, in a new format (jepg, tiff, whatever). However, as the External Editor is making this new file iPhoto has no knowledge of its existence. Therefore you *must save it to the desktop and then import it back to iPhoto as a new file*.
This means that you will have your Original Raw and the processed version in iPhoto but they will not be recognised as version and original. iPhoto will see them as two separate shots.

Getting blurred image when opening adobe

I've got the latest version of adobe installed in my windows 8 pc and it was working fine but from last few days when I am opening something the image is appearing blurred. Kindly advise some solution. Thanks

We suspect this is a graphics card issue but hard to say for sure. Try rebooting and let us know if it persists.

Missing image when uploading Dreamweaver site through the FTP

Can someone please help me?
I have been trying to upload an image onto my site however it will not load once I have uploaded it to the FTP and made the page live. I have tried linking the image in the properties but this just made the below clickable to view the actual image - but not shown on the page it is supposed to be displayed on.
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Some of your other images are in the 'images' folder in the 'htdocs' folder:
htdocs/images/return_courselist_button_s3.gif
I'm assuming that is where the ms_spoint_2007ce.gif is supposed to be BUT it isnt:
../../../../../ms_spoint_2007ce.gif
Move it to the 'images' folder and re-link it:
../../../htdocs/images/ms_spoint_2007ce.gif
You can also use the absolute url to the image if needs be AFTER you have located it in the 'images' folder:

I seem to be getting a slightly blurred image when I use the iPhoto tools

When I use the edit to adjust my photos the initial photo starts out slightly blurry. has anyone else noticed this? after closing out the edit the picture sharpes up back to normal.

Are you referring to iPhoto on your Mac? If so what version of iPhoto and system are you running?
