Blurred Vision iPhone 4S LED Flash

Hi. A few days ago, I got a new camera app for my iPhone 4S and I stared at the LED flash behind the phone when it was going at 0.05 strobe for about a minute and now my vision is a little blouses. I don't know if I just think it's blured because I starred at the LED light. But it feels like it is. And I have to try harder to focus my eyes. Is it going to wear off. Can an iPhone cause permanent light damage. I woudnt think so because when shooting a photo, the LED has to face you and I haven't heard of many people having their vision affected. Could my iPhone have done this to me.

Because I recently got my iPhone, I wouldn't expect the OS to be already corrupted. Before I got your response, I turned it on and off (as I had done several times before) and the light stays on. Even when the iPhone is off. A few hours ago, for some reason it turned off. The bulb isn't burnt out because I can still take photos with flash. A weird little thing.

Unable to take pics with Iphone 4S LED flash

I brought 32GB Iphone 4S today. As his predecessor, this is a great phone. But when i am trying to taking pictures with LED flash, the photos are all whilte. I tried various options but with any success. When i clicking the shutter button(both soft button and Volume up button) , the LED flash first flashed longer, then goes off then flshed again while having the shutter sound. As a result all the pictures are completely white washed out.
How to fix it? os it's becasue of faulty phone? Please help.

The inability to send mail has to do with the SMTP server. If you go into Settings>Mail>the Hotmail account, then go to the Advanced Settings and check the SMTP server. It could be that something has gone wrong with your port settings, username and password settings, or other things. Go to the Hotmail support site and look at the recommended settings for the account and make sure you have them all set on the phone. Handling mail on the phone uses two servers, one to receive and one to send. Your ability to send mail on the computer has nothing at all to do with the phone settings. Each device is a separate mail client.

IPhone 4S LED Flash

About a month ago I replaced my iPhone 4 with a 32GB iPhone 4S. I've been noticing that the LED flash is always on. It gives a little illumination to a pitch-black room, but not near the brightness like when you take a photo. It is much dimmer. The brightness seems to vary with the light conditions (I'm not sure if this is true or not). I'll admit that this "feature" is helpful in the dark . I've asked a few friends who have the iPhone 4S and none have noticed on their own phones.
I've done significant research...Google, Apple Support Communities, and elsewhere and I haven't found out anything. I've perused my settings and the online iPhone 4S manual. I'm wondering if this is normal.

IPhone 4 warranty/LED flash and low in-call volume

I just got an iPhone 4 8gb, my boyfriend bought it for me from his roommate. I checked on Apple Support and entered my serial number and evidently the phone is still covered by warranty.
I noticed that during a phone call I cannot hardly hear the other person speaking. I tried EVERYTHING, hard reset, resetting everything, I made sure to have the in-call volume all the way up.. nothing. Also, the LED flash on the camera does not work. I did not notice this until I tried to take a picture in the dark. I turned on the flash, tried it in video, downloaded iTorch and it worked on and off a few times but it is very random. Whenever I place my finger over the sensor it will come on, but turns off immediately when I take my finger away.
Since the warranty is still valid, am I eligible to have this taken care of even though I didn't purchase the iPhone directly?

Okay so bringing it into the apple store, I can get it fixed. But what about the registration? The previous owner is military stationed overseas and the phone is still registered in his name, he couldn't use it over there which is why he sold it to me.. but its not like I can bring him along with me in the store when I go to get the phone repaired.

Can you please provide us with a copy of your systems dxdiag report (see the steps listed here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_For_Windows_users), the output from the page "about:support" in Firefox, details on your virus scanner used, and some specific steps to reproduce the crash?
If you can give us a few recent entries in on the page "about:crashes" that might also be helpful.

LED FLASH ISSUE !

It sounds like the camera and LED are nto working as expected on your iPhone. I would use these troubleshooting steps to help isolate the issue from the following article:

Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

LED flash replacement. Is it possible?

Hi.
Does anyone know is it possible to replace only LED flash but not the whole camera module in case of faulty flash?
I've tried to search for different repair parts for iPhone 4 and found nothing about separate part for LED flash.

Led flash alerts not working in iOS 5

I have turned on led flash notification on and nothing happens when I get phone calls, text, e-mail etc. I have turned off the led setting and then turned it off the phone. I then restarted it and turned the setting back on and nothing happens. The light never goes off. I checked the light and it works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

   I Just Spent The Last Hour Or So With An Apple Support Tech, Who Then Forwarded Me To A Senior Support Person. I E-Mailed Her This Link So That She Could Research This Issue.
   Long Story Short, We Eventually Went Into The Settings - General - Reset - & Reset All Settings. 3 Minutes Later Tops, I Went Back Into The Settings - General - Accessibility, & Then Turned The LED FLASH FOR ALERTS Option ON. Tested It, & IT WORKED!!!!!!!!
   Tested It A Couple of More Times & It Still Works!

Is LED flash used for taking pictures at low light?

I recently bought 4s iphone, currently when i take pics in the night or low light the image is not clear due to LED flash light. Does LED flash is used only for notification /alerts or is it mainly used for creating better pictures in low light?

That is correct.
* Double check if there is a plastic film covering the camera and the flash.
** In my personal opinion, pictures using the flash in iPhone are of poor quality anyway.

Iphone 4 camera flash not working.

Iphone 4 camera flash not working when taking pictures but works with the flashlight app. I have ios 7. Tried factory reset. My wife has the same problem with her iphone 4 since the first month she has had it. Any suggestions?

LED flashing light and email notifications!

i just got the curve 9300 and before had the curve 8520 and the flashing LED is so dim i can barely see it on my new one!
i have the phone on silent at work and use the LED to tell when i have a notification and i cant even see it in daylight hardly.
is there any way to make the red light flash up brighter like on the older model?
my sister has the new bold and hers is fine and bright.
Ive got the free bebuzz app and even when i select my fave contact as BRIGHT pink it is still really dim light.
Also i have my hotmail account set up on my bb.
When i get a new email the notification icon appears at the top but i cant view the email in my hotmail box only if i go into the "messages" icon. this isnt how it was before either!
HELP?

I do not have a 9300 device on hand. I have used one and tested one, and played with. The LED flashing was fine, with nothing less bright about it that I would have noticed or made me remember "oh this is dim".

I don't know that, hence my suggestion to drop by where you purchased it and check another 9300 LED for comparison. There could certainly be some "personal preference" on this that you think it's not bright enough to you, but another 9300 might be brighter. There could some fault of your device. Do I think it's a fault on yours... I don't know. I haven't seen yours.
I'd also suggest that you UNinstall BeBuzz for now, completely uninstall, reboot your 9300 and test the LED from the native opertaing system settings.
