Blurry BBM display picture

whenever i update my display picture on my new bbz10 the display picture is always blurry.
help in fixing this

Mine display well also, but I do have some friends whose picture quality or DPI is so small it appears blurry when opened in full screen (but looks fine in the smaller normal avatar size.

If you are having the issue you can Contact your Carrier MTN's tech support , they can look at the issue .
Still which version of BBM your are having on your device ? Have to try to reinstall the same , If you want to try that then from your Homescreen Go to Options > Device > Application Management > Delete BlackBerry Messenger from that list , then perform a battery pull restart by removing the Battery while your device is Powered On .After reboot from your BlackBerry Browser browse to www.blackberry.com/bbm to download BBM again. try it and see if that help in resolving your issue.
Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

Q10 bbm display picture

Hello , please I need help my q10 is not changing my bbm display picture and I tried to restart it and even swipe out the device and still the same problem it's started 4 days ago

Apparently a good number of Q10 users are experiencing this problem. Can someone from technical pls tell us why the problem and how to resolve it. We made a big investment choosing this product and we at least deserve a way forward. Thanks.

Q10 bbm display picture frozen/not changing

Please whats the way forward with the Q10 bbm dp not changing that several users are experiencing? Technical kindly give us an update as several complaints have already been lodged on this forum.

I have had my Q10 for about 3 months and its been a rocky experience. After about 20-30 call log entries, it begins to mix my contacts. Now I have not been able to change my BBM display picture for over a week. And yet I find there are several threads on the Forum about users having this problem but no solution. Is BB Technical listening?

Hi.. Please help me.. I just bought blackberry q10 but I really don't like how the BBM works. How to fix a blurry display picture on bbm? I'm using blackberry for a long time and I need to share and update my pictures to my family and my friends which are mostly live in another country... Please please fix it.... It can't rotate and zoom too... I tried all pictures to put on my display picture but still blur.. Even the picture I took from Q10 itself which is have 8mp but still blur too.. my friend asked me why my pictures always blur like i took pics with a bad quality camera.. It's not cool thank you before

This seems to be an issue for some but not others and I haven't yet seen a resolution. It only happens with display pictures. If you send a picture via BBM it should work fine.

BBM Display Pictures Not Changing

Hello, the display pictures of some of my contacts have been stuck on a picture for like two weeks now.. I've restarted the phone a couple of times & I deleted and reinstalled the bbm yet its still the same pictures but they have changed their pictures like a million times since then. Help please

The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now, and try it with a display picture different from the one you have...
I guess the morale of the story is, if multiple people are having these kinda issues, just wait a bit; the folks at RIM will notice & get it fixed.

BBM display picture does not update mine nor contacts

Please assist. I have a BB 8520. I am running version 5.0.0.57. I am having a major issue. My bbm contact display pictures are not changing, nor are my contacts. I deleted my wife to re invite her, when request was accepted, I ended up with a blue man. I have reinstalled bbm and I have rebooted. I added myself to my contacts and I appear as a blue man when I actually have up a picture. I have been checking my concerns over the net and quite a few people are having the same issue. Can any one please assist.

How many BlackBerry Messenger contacts are currently on your BlackBerry? If over 100, I would suggest lower to less than 90 and see if the avatars update.

Bbm display picture not changing

My contacts can seem to view my display picture when I change it. They can view a picture I up loaded two weeks ago. How do I fix this. :-(

Sometimes it can just take a few days for an avatar to update for other friends of yours.
Tell them to try this:
Open BBM by tapping the BBM icon on the homescreen
Navigate to contact showing up as a PIN, either via the BBM Group members list or your BBM Contacts list, and tap their name as if to open a chat conversation with them
Tap the top bar of the chat window
You should then see a refresh (looks like a circular icon) icon next to the BBM Video icon on the top right, tap that and the contact's name should appear and it may refresh the avatar.

BBM display picture can't change :'(

I own of bb 9700 . My bbm have a problem . It can't changing display picture .
I mean I can change it but there no notif in my recent updates and my friends can't see of my display picture changing .
I had waited for 1 week . But it can't changing too and I already do anything like reboot and etc but nothing I get .
Now what I must to do ? :'(

Hello,
Try uninstalling and reinstalling BlackBerry Messenger
from www.blackberry.com/messenger in your BlackBerry Browser.
Also if you have Facebook installed remove it then reboot.
Reinstall BBM from www.blackberry.com/messenger and test again.

Can't change bbm display picture

Hi I have a blackberry curve 8520. For the past two weeks i haven't been able to change my display pic on my blackberry messenger.
I have called my phone company and they told me there is nothing they can do. I have tried to take out the battery and reset the phone
and it still does not change! I am getting really fed up with this phone now its getting ridiculous. Please help me fix this problem that has
been going on for the past 2 weeks. Everyone on my list can change their pictures except me.

For the past week there have been many users in the Asia Pacific area such as Malaysia & Indonesia who aren't getting their BBM avatar synced across the network to their friends. Perhaps that is Africa as well.

BBM Display picture problems

On my bbm I can`t see any pictures of my contacts, and also when I try and edit my info there is no option for me to add a picture? I have blackberry storm, is it to do with the old model?

BBM version 5.0 had the ability to change display photos.
If your Storm software version is compatible, you can upgrade to this BBM version by going to www.blackberry.com/bbm on your device browser.

Bbm display picture wont change

I've been trying 2 change my bbm dp 4 a couple of days & it won't change! I've turned the phone off, took the battery out & left it 4 a while b4 putting it back on & still no change. What do I do?!

Leave it alone and forget it.
It will eventually sync to your contacts.
Some have been successful at deleting BBM and reinstalling.

Problem in BBM - Can't access my bbm display picture and status

Hello there,
I wonder if anyone can resolve my problem,
I cannot access my bbm profile everytime i click to access my profile to update my status and my DP the bbm lagged and i have to exit the bbm and reopen it again, i format the device and still the same problem stays.
and this happened when i update my status and what i wrote i can still see it but can't enter to edit it cuz its lagged everytime i try. Although its not papering in other bbms.
i hope that you can help me.
my device is : blackberry Z10 the new software 10.1.0.273

download " Myprofiles light "application and then you can edit on you're profile, I tried before and its work with me. The lag go.

Bbm display picture doesnt change

Recently, I tried to change the Bbm dp in my z10, it changes for me but my friends cannot see any update.
It's been 2 weeks my Bbm dp is stuck for my friends.
I tried everything. Removing battery, restart, bla bla. I read somewhere I can reload the OS. But that will delete everything I don't wanna do that.
Can anyone help please. How can i solve this? Is there a way to reinstall Bbm messenger in z10?

Q10 bbm display is blurry

Just got a BlackBerry q10 and found out each time I upload a picture on the bbm display is always blurry.
Please what would the issue be and how can I sort it?
