Blurry photos using rear camera

Photos shot with rear camera are blurry. I used grid and tapped to focus - no change. I've cleaned lens and even tried a reset. Still blurry. Any suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem. It started after I installed 2.2 on my 3G and upgraded the Itunes to the latest version. Running XP Pro with SP3. I have tried everyhing I know and can't fix the problem. I have another PC that runs Vista and just for fun I opened up the Camera function on that computer and attempted to delete the photos and it worked fine.
Looking at my event viewer it appears that the error has something to do with Windows Image Acquisition service (dll) System 32 Generic Host processes, or SP3. I did notice a message that flashed on my screen for a millisecond which also said something about another program using the application. That came when the icon showing the camera attaching to the computer usually shows up. Also, the same reboot happens if you dont use Camera Wizard and go directly to my computer, Iphone Camera, and then attempt a delete from there. I hope someone from Apple is seeing this. This is very frustrating. I just want to go back to 2.1 and the previous Itunes version. I can love with the other problems that were manifest in 2.1.

Macbook 2.1 full freezing after I use rear camera on iPhone 4G.

I don't understand, why fade out my text, but I replace it:)
My problem is, if I use rear camera on iPhone 4G, then the macbook is full freezing.
Only what I can do, I need push power button
I looked forward OSX 10.6.5 and iOS 4.2.1 but nothing happened.
I switched off/on facetime, restarted mobile, but nothing happened.
This is a serious fault.
If somebody answer me, I can insert my system log file next again.

I'm using iphone 4s, whenever i take a photo using front camera mirror view of the image is NOT saved. i.e, left becomes right & vice versa. To elaborate if you take a photo with your left hand index finger on your left chin it shows up as though i'm holding my right hand index finger on my right chin. This was not the case initially, i suspect this happened after photoshop app. was installled. Can someone assist?

Ok!! After checking couple of my friends phone i realise this is BY design!!.. i still don't understand the logic behind this though.Nevertheless this ain't a bug!!!

Dark spot on screen when using rear camera and phone shutting down randomly at 20% power

I probably already know the answer to my question but my nearest apple store is 2hrs drive away so just want to know has anyone experienced the same issues and if so what was their resolution?
I noticed last week when i went to use the camera that the phone randomly shut off even though I had near 20% batter power, it then would not switch on again without me plugging it in to charge. I am always careful with charging and discharging the battery, ive done resets and a restore but the issue is still there snd today i noticed the dark spot on the screen and subsequently on the photo when using the rear camera - its definitely not there when using the front facing camera.
If i go to the apple store will they swap it out (still plenty of warranty)? I cant do it by post as I need my phone at all times and dont have a cc to do the express service return!!!

I've had this same problem. I called apple about it and they said that it seems to be a current problem with a lot of peoples phone. The only question that I have, if anyone can answer, is that Apple is supposed to send me a new phone to replace mine but I am wondering if it will be the 3G or the old model, which is what I already have. If anyone knows then let me know, but Chennie, just call apple and they will help you out.

Green tint apparent on photos through Rear Camera

I was using my iPhone lastnight at work, downloading some apps, and doing the normal iPhone stuff. The phone was normal and fine, and I did use the camera earlier during the evening to take a photo of a document letter.
I placed the phone on my desk, (back side down), so the screen was upward facing. There wasn't/isn't any bright lights or anything. The iPhone was laying on a piece of paper, so nothing out of the ordinary.
A few hours later, I turned the iPhone on and went to take another photo of a document. I then realized a "green" tint in the center of my screen. At first I thought maybe it was what people call "Pixel Burn" but then realized after I left the Camera.app and went to any other part of the OS, there was no Green tint. I also tried the Front Facing Camera, and no green tint either.
I then tried the Rear-Facing Camera again... and the Tint is still visible. I am at a lose for words as to what would even cause such a thing. I've attached a few photos so that you may see what I am talking about...
Also.
I've restarted. Uninstalled the last App I installed, which was Box.net, and nothing changed, it's still there.
Any ideas?!

I've swapped two phones for this issue. While I have seen it on some phones I have not seen it on more.
The one I have now dosnt do the green thing like in the pics but two others did in the same room so I know it's not variation in occasions. It seems while all iPhones u might see a very light green spot under certain lights if you really realy try to find it. And a few u can just tell by looking at it

How to Search Lightroom Library for Photos Using Specific Camera Profiles?

Photos processed using Lightroom 5.6 camera profiles for the Nikon D810 displayed posterized colors. A temporary workaround was published by Adobe, as described here:

Lightroom 5.7 resolved the issue, but I still have a lot of photos that were processed with the "v2 beta" camera profiles provided by Adobe, and those profiles still remain on my computer. I'd like to find all the photos in my Library that were processed using a v2 beta camera profile, update them to the respective new 5.7 profiles, then remove the v2 beta profiles from my computer so they no longer show as options in the Lightroom Camera Calibration pane.
How can I search my Library to find all the photos that used one of the beta Camera Profiles?

The Data Explorer, DevMeta, and Any Filter plugins can search for specific camera profiles. (You can't do it with LR smart collections or filters.)

Ios 7 REAR CAMERA FAILS WHEN USING UIIMAGEPICKERCONTROLLER

We're developing a simple application that uses rear camera. We've seen

the app memory jumps out dramatically from 11mb to 48mb and for each
picture that you take it gets more memory consumption until the console
Starts to display "Received Memory Warning" and Finaly a message appears
saying <project Exited unexpectedly. Terminated due to memory pressure.>
It also happens if you don't save or use the code above, to save the
Photo the only thing that changes is that the memory consumption is not
dramatically incremented but the received memory warning message still
there and the final message that crases the app too.
I get this error with XCODE 5 and IOS 7 Because with my code was compiled in IOS6 and the last XCode and it didn't fail. But also If I create a new project and use uiimagepickercontroller to start the camera and take pictures I get the same error.
This error is most noticeable in an iPad mini because of his ram memory.

Using the camera ON GOOGLE, where do they go ??????????

This might be a real stupid question but I cannot figure this out.
On my iphone 4 when I take photos using the camera ON GOOGLE, where do those photos go….
I cannot find them at all….

If you are talking about the camera on the Google mobile app, this is Google Goggles. You take a photo and google searches for similar images - like if you take a photo of the front of a CD or a book it will identify it and give you search results for more details or where you could buy it.
The photos don't "go" anywhere. It's not a photography app.

Disable photos button on camera screen?

Hi,
I cant find this answer anywhere, does anyone know how I can disable the photos button on the camera screen? - So basically if someone goes into my camera to take a photo, they cannot just press the button and enter into the camera roll to view all my other photos?
I have an iphone 4s on ios 7

I would suggest that you set up a passcode on your device:

Once you have a passcode set up, all you will need to do is to simply lock the phone like you normally would, then you can activate the camera from the lock screen and let your friend use it to take a photo:

Your friend will be able to review the photos they have just taken, but they will not be able to access the Camera Roll without entering your passcode. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

My rear facing camera has started taking blurry photos, it cant focus on anything and just blurs. I have tried turning it off and back on, ive also done a restore and still doesnt work. If your really close to something it will be ok but anything other than right in front of the camera and it just blurs. Any ideas?

i have iphone4 32gb.
my auto focus also not working.i was tried everthing but not work.
-restore firmware/ios = not working
-install super camera = not working
and lastly i've got the problem solved!
step 1:
open your default camera application and dont close it.
step 2:
flick the rear camera using your finger at the top side and the back side of the camera lens,
and that same time too try to tap your screen to help your camera to force/help/make auto focus function to work.
and now your camera + auto focus is working!!

Why is my 6 plus rear camera taking blurry pictures?

Rear camera was working great for months. Suddenly all pictures are blurry/fuzzy. No damage at all to iphone. Front camera is ok. Is there a software fix? I hope so because I'm thousands of miles from home

IPhone 6 plus iOS 8.3 is making my rear camera blurry

since I did my updated my rear camera is so blurry. What can I do

When I use my rear camera the screen is wobbly which of course makes my pictures blurry. I'm not sure if this is with the last update or what. iphone 6 regular users in my office don't have the issue on 8.3. I have the 6 plus and have the issue.

Droid X, Camera issues, blurry photos

I am finding out this is an issue but wondering what suggestions you have. I have tried to make photos clear but especially when making one into wallpaper it is stretched and blurry. My Storm camera was better so far. Otherwise I love the Droid. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.

This may sound kind of a given but I have learned this gets overlooked...
1. Do you press button and allow camera to focus on subject before taking photo?
2. Are you making sure to take in correct Scene settings?
3. Have you configured the ISO for low light situations?
I wont say the camera is the best but I have used it for graduations and family reunion and was able to print photos with very nice quality and I also play slide shows of photos on 50 inch TV without complants.
