Blurry text and logo

I'm trying to alter a document since I noticed one small error that we received from a graphic designer. When I opened the document in in-design, the photos, logos and text below the pictures came in blurry. Please see below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I submitted the original photos and logos to the graphic designer since we are the client. The files she sent back look FANTASTIC except that I noticed one TINY mistake which was an error on my part (one word was misspelled wrong). When I open the InDesign file, the photos, logos and text under the photos come in blurry even with high quality selected. It’s in a text box and I changed that easily. I thought it would be a really easy fix to change this one word and then export as a pdf and jpeg. I attached the InDesign file if that helps.

I really doubt if there is any FM like that. But, you can always search the existing logos in the Appln Server, the tcode is SE78.

Blurry Text and Incorrectly rendered colors in 8,1

Ok...I'm at my wits end with this lap top. I have tried everything. I fixed it once...for about 48 hours, and then it went right back to the way it was.
Problem: My laptop (HP Envy with windows 8.1) exhibits the common blurry text problem that everyone complains about. However, there's an additional problem with mine. The colors are all off. Reds show up as greens, greens show up
as reds. It's a mess. I can't even watch a movie on this thing cause it looks like a different planet!
I have downloaded all the newest latest greatest drivers for my graphics card. I have went to the manufacturers website and searched for drivers and downloaded them. I originally had W8. I downloaded and installed W8.1. No change.
My graphics card is the AMD Catalyst. I upgraded it.
When I fixed this thing the first time, I THINK the thing that did it was to go into Control Panel to uninstall programs. My AMD catalyst, when I clicked on it gave the option to "repair". So I hit that. When I restarted...my
colors and text were perfect. For about two days. Now it's back to it's former crappyness. I tried that again to no avail.
I've tried all the "de-scaling" crap that has been suggested on various forums. Nada.
Someone please help me with this. I'm deployed overseas and my laptop is my lifeline over here.

Edit the IDM Main Banner / Create own banner, with text and logo

I would like to edit/modify/customize the IDM Main Front-Page Banner, and replace it with my own text (possibly images, and/or company logo)
It's probably not possible to totally replace the *"Sun Microsystems Identity Manager"* banner. But, at least, I'd like to remove a part of it, and replace it with, say, my own custom text/image/, or my company logo.
How could I do this?

perhaps, I'm doing something wrong.
I have made modifications to the *"customStyle.css"* file, but nothing has any effect.
Should I be downloading this file from somewhere to somewhere? Or, should I be "commenting-out" some of the code in the file itself?
My IDM instance is simply ignoring the changes/modifications I am making to this file. Obviously, I am not doing something I should be doing.
Any tips, please?

Fix for blurry text on Dell 30" U3014 connected by DisplayPort to Mac Pro (late 2013) AMD D700

Just connected my new Mac Pro (late 2013) to my Dell 30" U3014 with DisplayPort cables, only to find blurry text and bad gamma etc.
Whilst the earlier post/discussion Mac Pro (8 core with the D700 GPU's) (Dell U2713H) was somewhat illumative, I thought a simple list of links for this specific configuration might help someone.

Thanks for taking the time to think about my issue and respond. But I don't see where your response is relevant.
I want to connect two monitors, each via Mini-Display Port, and only one will work at a time. I am not using DVI cables at all. In this article, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6068, it clearly states that I can connect three monitors via Thunderbolt (mini-display port) as long as they're on different busses. I was doing that, and it didn't work.

Annoying bar on the right side of my browser, makes the text and resolution of things inside the browser look blurry, is there any way to fix this?

There's been this white, or transparent bar on the right side of the browser (picture for reference: http://imgur.com/Jhzn9ym )
That annoying bar makes the whole browser become blurry in resolution and it even affects how I click on links, for example lets say I click on link, the browser will think im just highlighting text and make me click about half an inch to the right in order to click the link I want. I guess the transparent bar throws off the browser as if that bar isn't there but yet the browser has adjusted to fit the faulty resolution. I know about computers and I'm not a stay at home mom that has no idea how to fix things, if you notice the image the browser is fully opened, as in the button that has the square to make the browser fit the window is clicked, so the browser is set to fit. This is really annoying because it just throws off the way I use it and the functionality is not there any more.

If the Firefox window isn't maximized can you then drag te windows borders to make it fill the full screen width?
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

Both the Texts and Graphics When I open windows are too large and blurry. Is this anyway I could fix this?

When I open Firefox (Firefox is updated to its latest version) both the text and the graphics are too large. I've tried zooming in and out features, but the texts become unreadable.

Printing a PDF created in Indesign results in blurry text.

Hello All,
I am in need of assistance.
I have created a flyer for one of my companies products in In-design.
When I print the project directly form In-design the print looks great and the text is nice and crisp.
However, when I export the project to a "Press Quality" PDF, and print it the text comes our blurry and "dirty"
I have been trying to fix this for 2 days now with no luck.
I have tried multiple different setting during the export to PDF form In-design, all resulting in the same issue.
What is strange is when I print the PDF in black and white the text look just as good as if it were printed directly from In-design in colour.
I looked around online and found allot of posts regarding this issue but no definitive results.
I have also checked the colour of the text and it is 100%K.

What color is the text?
Can you show some screen shots?

IPad, Acrobat Reader, Content (text and pictures) no longer showing, just blank pages

Hi,
I have a user who successfully opened a .pdf attachment from outlook mail and then opened it in Acrobat Reader on the iPad and then edited it and moved it to a created folder.
Everything was working fine and the user highlighted text in the .pdf document too.
What then happened is when the user subsequently opened the file, the highlights were shown but not the content (text and pictures).
I checked they had the latest version via the apps store updates and noted there had recently been an update which had been applied.
I did check also in the diagnostics to see if there were any acrobat files, but there were none, I also turned on 'send diagnostics' in case this this will help in the future.
I rebooted the iPad by pressing and holding the power and home buttons until the apple logo appeared.
Checked again to see if I could view the .pdf content (it's around 8.5 MB file with 32 pages), still nothing showing apart from the yellow highlights that the user had done.
From within Acrobat Reader on the iPad I chose to open the file in iBooks to see if I could read it there. I could successfully open the file in iBooks and the front page thumbnail was showing (I did note that in Acrobat reader the thumbnail was white).
I found the email with attachment and opened it again in Acrobat Reader and it opens correctly, suggesting somehow the previous copy had become damaged? I have now saved this good copy over the top of the existing bad copy and all is OK except that the user has lost the highlights previously made.
Can you give me some idea of how this file has become broken in Acrobat Reader on the iPad and how I can avoid it happening again.

This is the first time it has happened, the user has several folders containing files (on their iPad), (some .pdf's with additional highlights) these files are typically company agm board packs so contain pages of text and photo's too.
I put it down the fact that when I checked the app store for updates there had recently been an update and the user had not rebooted their iPad for some time, hence some of the underlying adobe reader files were perhaps between versions.
I don't know how you handle files when performing an update, do you close the app, flush files from memory and do a clean update?
I can confirm that the .pdf file had not been sent as an email attachment after having added the highlights.
Because the acrobat document contains so many pictures (32 pages and 8.5MB) when scrolling through it takes several seconds for some pages to appear, and others with text and pictures quite a while for the text to become sharp, I presume this is because the Acrobat Reader cannot open the 8.5MB file in one go and has to keep swapping it out of memory. Having reached the end if I scroll back to the beginning it takes 10's of seconds before the first page re-appears, otherwise it's just a white page. Interestingly in iBooks the pages appear almost immediately when viewing.
The iPad in question is model MD368B/A, 64GB, Software Version 7.1.1 (11D201) and has 28GB Memory available. Usage tells me Adobe Reader is taking 328MB and is version 11.3.1
I have just finally browsed back to recent documents, opened 2 or 3 other documents and then this one again (from recent) and it is now broken, just shows white pages (and on the thumbnail too) with my test highlights. so I can now apparently reproduce it.

When she turned it back on, she discovered all her texts and her contacts were missing. How can she get them back? She's got a iOS 4.3.5 with a 16GB iPhone 4.

Connect to the computer she regularly syncs to, right click on the iPhone's name in iTunes, and choose "restore from backup".

Unable to Add alternative text and tooltips to your images

Hello,
I am using Muse CC in Apple iMAC machine. The build version of Muse CC is 232.
Having watched the video, http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-adobe-muse-cc/using-titles-and-alt-text-to-images/, I am unable to bring up the image property window when I press the right hand click button of my Apple Mouse.
As such, I am unable to add alternative text and IMG Text to my images including the logo, facebook and Twitter Logos.
Can someone please tell me how to resolve my issue? How come I unable to bring up the image property when I press the right hand click on the mouse. The image property is also not shown in the menu of Muse CC.

Hello Maxplus,
Try doing CTRL+Click once to see if it works. Also, if an image is added as a fill, it doesn't bring up the Add alternative text and tooltips option, because then it is added as a background and not placed as an image.

Pixelated text and graphics in MacBook Pro Retina

Why are text and graphics in pixelated in Numbers and iBooks applications, to name two, on the MacBook Pro Retina? All updates have been downloaded.

Clinton- The problem is that the way things are setup is a bit confusing. Apple doesn't let us use the actual full resolution of 2880 x 1800, in relateive size. There is a hack to see the screen at full native resolution, and it's unbelievably small. So what they do is use the pixels, but use 4 vs 1, and thus they make the UI look like it would look as standard 1440 x 900 display. I have an old 15" and looking at both, the UI is the same relative size on the screen. However the retina is using more pixels to make the same physical size.
Now, Apple also lets apps use 1:1 within their "working area." For instance, if you view a graphic on a web page, it shows it doubled, and pixelated. But if you drag that image to the desktop then open in Preview, preview will show it half size of Safari, but in actual resolution. it's sharp, but half the size of Safari, as Safari is doubling it. So apps can take advantage of that but will have to be updated. Pixelmator isn't updated, and graphics/text/vectors are blurry in their work area, but once you save/export, and view in preview, they are perfect.
So there is going to be a lot of strange stuff going on until everyone gets on the same page.
I did find you can view Pages/Numbers with better resolution (just not icons) by right-clicking "get info" and unchecking open in low resolution. But Pages acts weird. I will post a screenshot in a minute about what I mentioend about apps using the native resolution within work spaces.

Macbook Pro screen - Seeing double Blurry text everything else

Man....Something happened. I have a pretty much brand new 17 inch pro. I woke it up and now the text and everything else is blurry. when looking at text for example it's like there are two sets! This isn't just when using a specific application. This is everything, desktop icons, etc. I've restarted, zoom is off in universal access and my screen resolution is fine....what now?!?! HELP!

First it would help to have the complete information on on the size, OS and year on your computer the way Jprong posted.
Did either of you try resetting PRAM and SMC?

Jprong et al, did you try booting from an installer disk or another OS on an external drive?
