BO Mobile 4.0 login by SAP Authentication

Hello gurus,
I configured BO mobile 4.0 server and I am able to login in BOE repository using Enterprise authentication.
But when i try to login using SAP authentication, the simulator gives an error:
"The secSAPR3 plugin does not exist (FWM 02016)".
I have configured SSO between BW-BO system, and it works perfectly on BI Launch Pad and CMC.

Hi,
The error message clearly says that the secsap file is missing.
Make sure the file 'secSAPR3.jaru2019 and 'sapjco.jar' exist in the location below

Problem in CMC login with SAP authentication type

Hi,
We have installed the SAP Integration kit successfully for BO XI R2 & when I logon to CMC i am able to enable the SAP authentication and import the roles from the SAP BW system as well. But when I try to login into CMC using the 'Authentication type' as SAP it doesn't display the textboxes for entering System ID and Client details. Can you please tell me how to fix this?
Also I see that the CMC & Infoview authentication type drop down list are not the same. The CMC has the authentication types available as 'SAP,LDAP & Enterprise' where as Infoview has 'Enterprise, LDAP & AD'.
Is this an issue with the Plugins? do i need to do some settings on the Tomcat ?

Thanks for your update Jac...yes thats correct. Also I had to include authPlugExt.properties file in the tomcat/shared/classes, which i did not include previously. The SAP infoview is working fine now.
Just one more question, in CMC login doesn't the SAP authentication require sap system & client id as its inputs? (in XI R2). I noticed that I was able to login with SAP user id's (without mentioning system details) , that have been added when I have imported the SAP roles to BO.

Can we add new logical system in Entitlement tab in SAP Authentication.

We already Installed and configured sap integration kit and every thing works fine. My question is as of now we connected our sap BW Dev system to BOBJ but we would like to connect to BW Prod System to same BOBJ System. What are the steps we need to follow to do this.
Can we just add the new logical system in entitlement tab of sap authentication in BOBJ 3.1? and import the roles and login to BOBJ USING THE Newly added SYSTEM Credentials. Thanks in Advance.

Log on to Infoview with SAP authentication

Hi Gurus ,
Please can some one provide me documentation , to configure , Infoview with SAP authentication .
I have R/3 system where i have a datasource and then one Remote cube in BW . On the cube developed a BEx Query . I want to log into Infoview using SAP authentication .Now, i am able to login into Infoview using Enterprise as authentication .

Change SAP BI Password from BO Client Tools / Infoview, SAP Authentication

Hi,
We are using SAP BI BO Integration Kit (BO XI 3.1, SAP BI 7.0) & able to use SAP BI Queries with WebI, Xcelsius etc.
For a user group, we would be providing only Infoview access (using SAP Authentication). This means we would not want to install any BO Client Tools, SAP GUI or SAP Integration Kit Client, on user desktop.
We are faced with a issue - How does the user change password from Infoview (this is an SAP BI User ID used to login from Infoview).
Initial Password of SAP BI User cannot be changed from Infoview, since it doesnot prompt for changing the Initial Password.
Any ideas how to handle this situation.

no. Also within BI4 you are not able to change your SAP password.
The Workaroung of Ingo is very suitable using SAP GUI for HTML.

Error When Trying to Schedule Webi report using SAP authentication

We are trying to Schedule Webi report in CMC for Group of Users using SAP authentication(SSO) ,While Trying this we are geting error Unable to Connect to SAP BW server Incomplete Logon Data ..(IES 10901) .
Authorization done at BI side and Its working properly.Users are able to login into BI Launchpad and View Report as per authorization
Some Webi reports are created using BICS connection and some are created using Universe Design Tool (.UNV) which are migrated from BO 3.1 to BO 4.0
Server Status:
BO server and Client Tools-:BO 4.0 SP6
BW System-7.01

Two logical name in SAP Authentication

I have setup SNC on my BO development (BO XI 3.1 SP3) environment connecting to BDD. Is it possible to use same BO dev environment to connect to BQD.
Can I have two SNC setting in BO dev environment pointing to two different BW system (BDD / BQD).

Yes, it's possible, follow the same procedure of SNC in BQD. But BO to create ALIAS, users might need to login manually using BQD SAP authentication once.

Getting error in SAP Authentication configuration for BO Edge 3.1 SP3

I have installed BusinessObject Edge Series 3.1 SP3 and BusinessObject XI 3.1 SAP SP3 on Windows 2008 server.
I am trying to configure SAP Authentication between BO and BI server. In CMC i have provided all the details under Entitlement System and click on update, After that when i click on Role Import tab I am getting "Name or password is incorrect". However, I checked user name and password is correct by login with same user and password to BI server.
I have downloaded sapjco.jar and sapjcorfc.dll and placed it at required locations and also done the transport in BI system as given with Integration Kit
I checked document "SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP3 Integration for SAP Solutions u2013 Supported Platforms" and found that SAP GUI 720 is not supported with SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP3.
Supported SAP GUI are:
SAP 640 GUI, patch level 25
SAP 710 GUI patch level 6 (1)
But I dont found those SAP GUI's on Service market place.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

did you check if the SAP credentials entered on the Entitlement System page have the necessary authorizations to read the roles ?

Impliment SAP Authentication for Translation manager BI 4.0

Hello Experts,
We are using SAP Authentication type to logon and to create the reports.The reports are created now.We would need to have these reports translated using Translation Manager (TM) but they have provided a user name on Enterprise login.
But when we try to import the reports it is getting failed and giving an error "InitInitilization Java" exception .
As when the clinet tool TM is opened it is not showing the SAP authentication it has (Enterprise,Windows AD,LDAP,Standalone) and no SAP.
So can you suggest about how to have the SAP login for TM also.We are using BI 4.0 SP 2.7.Reports are created using BEX as back end.

SAP Authentication error in Nakisa 3 SP1

I have uploaded the serial key and performed the below steps as per the Admin guide for sucession planning
Test the required data connections in the Data Center (configured SAp connection)
Verify the security authentication settings (for login screen)
Ensure the required modules are enabled
but when I am trying to login to below URL using the admin user, I am getting the error.

Configure SAP authentication for BusinessObjects

I am configuring SAP authentication for BusinessObjects. I created a user account for BusinessObjects Enterprise on SAP with Authorization object, field, Value as "BusinessObjects XI Integration for SAP Solution Installation Guide". After add an SAP entitlement system to BusinessObjects Enterprise, I checked that an entitlement system. It show "User CRYSTAL has no RFC authorization for function group SYST." with CRYSTAL is user of SAP.

I login CRYSTAL user directly on your SAP BW server using SAPGUI. It is ok.I don't get any error messages there.

Need SAP Authentication option when using the Open document URL methos

I had published a report into the BO Server. I can able to Login to the CMC & Info view through SAP Authentication. But, when I Try to Open the Report through the Open document or viewrpt URL, I am not getting the SAP option in the Authentication Drop down box. the option has been hidden by default.
Navigate to <BO_INSTALL_DIR>Tomcat55/webapps/openDocument/WEB-INF
Open the web.xml file and search for "authentication.visible". Set the parameter from "false" to "true".
Restart your Tomcat and you should be fine.

Cannot open cmc sap authentication - role and alias update failing

I have two business objects environments. For two of them I am failing to login to a specific part of CMC.
I want to go to Authentication tab, SAP authentication. The page is not opening.
I have on both environments 500.000 + Failed jobs. (settings - view global system metrics).
I have the feeling my CRYSTAL user account's password has expired and the 500k+ failed schedules are due to the scheduled update of roles and aliases which is failing.
Can anybody tell me how to cleanup these 500k events, and hopefully being able to access my sap authentication again (and update the password for crystal user? They cannot be deleted from instance manager.

Dear Seb. I tried. No result. Let me share some screenshots to desribe my issue.
what did I also try: redeploying BOE webapplication. Without success.
My question is: how do I remove these failed instances from the system? Because I think that is a start of the solution.
.. the admintoos entry (from upgrade management tool) was still increasing... It runs awfully long.

are all transports imported in your SAP Back- End?
Can you ping your SAP Back- End from your BO Server?
With regards to SSO, you can have SSO from your SAP EP to BOBJ or from BOBJ to your SAP Back- End. Check the SAP ITK installation guide.

Not able to add login module to authentication stacks!

we are implementing siteminder sso integration with portal.
Iam trying to do following configuration ...
Modify the ticket authentication template:
a.)Remove from the stack:
1)BasicPasswordLoginModule
2)EvaluateTicketLoginModule
b.)Add the following modules to the top of the stack, in the order shown:
SiteMinderLoginModule
CreateTicketLoginModule
Iam not able to do either reomove exting one nor add new login module.Iam getting an error"Unable to add login module to authentication stacks! "
Ilogged in to v.admin as administrator with admin & superadmin roles.
It would be great if anyone could help me in this .
