Is BO Mobile compatible with older version of EDGE??? I came to know that BO Edge 4.0 is compatible to BO Mobile. Are the older versions like EDGE 3.0 and 3.1 compatible too???

Documents about mobiles compatibility with J2ME

Hello!
I have to develop a J2ME application and before, I'd like to write a document about all compatibility aspects I must consider in order to make this application compatible with all (or at least the most of) the existing mobiles handsets (simple cell phones, smartphones, blackberries and so on...).
I'd like to write a document containing, for instance, for each brand of mobile, the available APIs, JSRs, fonctionnalities, etc.
Can someone, please, lead me to where to find such a document?

LR Mobile compatibility with desktop and laptop?

Like most people, I'm excited about the possibilities LR Mobile offers in syncing with your LR catalogue at home. Utilizing the smart previews to allow users to make edits on the go, showcase photos and having them sync with your catalogue will no doubt save me valuable time. This leaves me wondering if it's now possible to make the same edits in LR on your laptop and have those sync with LR on your desktop? Now that two way syncing is possible between your main LR catalogue and your mobile device, surely three way syncing by adding in your laptop cannot be far behind? I've always found it so troublesome to export a particular set of images as a catalogue that I want to work on while away and then have to re-import it when I get back home...

Not at this point in time, no. Of course we can't comment on what might happen in the future, but that certainly sounds like a logical next step.

As far as i know, If you have a prior version of XI3.1 SP3 then you have to use the 2.1.8 version of Java Connectors.
But if you have a latest version ie, XI3.1 SP3 then you can use the 2.1.8+ Java connectors for your SAP BI Integration.
You can refer the "SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP 'X' - Integration for SAP Solutions u2013Supported Platforms" guide and check for the supported versions.

Does anyone know if Flex apps would work on PocketPCs, ie.
using Windows Mobile 5.0?
I haven't purchased one yet, so I can't test.

If so, then Flash is installed fine. Note, though, that Flash
content will
only play when viewed in a browser (html file) or when
embedded in an
application using ActiveX or similar. So if you are tryting
to play a swf
file, that won't work.

Adobe Viewer Compatibility with Android Mobiles... anyone know which?

We've created a digital magazine using Adobe DPS and deployed it online here: http://www.thinkingtackle.korda.co.uk/landing.html (click VIEW under TTD3) to launch the online verison rather than App versions
It should redirect to the live mag in Adobe Content Viewer...
Works fine on Mac, PC, iOS.... BUT no joy on the plethora of mobiles we've tried it on... Samsung Galaxy S3 and various others...
Keen to understand the limitations or extent of Adobe Content Viewer's compatibility with Andriod Mobiles/Tablets
Can anyone advise?

Adobe Content Viewer from Google Play (May 1, 2013) is both compatible and works fine on my Nexus 4 phone. We understand that adding the Android phone compatibility might cause poor app rating as the buttons/controls will be hard to tap on the smaller screens. But publisher could add these limitations to the app description. So my question is if support for Android phones could be added to the custom viewer as an optional feature checkbox, please.

Blue Ray Disk drive compatibility with DVD S Pro, Mac Pro

Ok, I'll make this an official question, where might I find info on BDR drive compatibility with DVD S Pro, Mac Pro, etc? I'm a little surprised that there doesn't seem to be much info available.
I can always use my Pioneer BDR-202 with a windows box, I have several, but I'm trying to get AWAY from them.
Any thoughts, links, etc. welcome, thanks

Blu-ray offers a level of interacivity that is not possible with DVDs, so it isn't just an different drive that you are getting with Blu-ray. Seeing how Apple didn't upgrade DVD SP with the new FCP Suite 2, it is reasonable to assume they are working on a separate Blu-Ray Studio Pro, that is going to be completely different than DVD SP. Adobe Encore's support for Blu-Ray is extremely buggy, so obviously moving from DVD programming to Blu-Ray programming isn't just a simple tweak to the code.
Apple doesn't pre-announce software they are working on so this is all guess work, but it is reasonable to assume that they are working on a Blu-Ray programming application. Be patient. Do you really have the money to burn on the bleeding edge of new technology? A single Blu-Ray burnable disc sells for $20. Two months ago the exact same disc sold for $45. Prices will continue to fall as things stablize.

Unfortunately I think you need to remove Edge and reinstall choosing tomcat. There are other reasons customers are doing this (SAP integration kit compatibility, to get query builder back) and the installer does not allow the adding/removing of tomcat. If not installed on tomcat I'm not aware of any steps that have been created to add it manually. Make sure the backup your FRS and CMS DB if you have any system info/reports/folders/etc to preserve.
EDIT: I've just received an email and apparently Edge SP3 may be out sooner than I expected. Edge 3.1 and SP2 were 7-8 months behind XI 3.1 SP1 and SP2 but I'm reading that SP3 may be out at the end of this month or shortly after. At which point the releases may be synchronized and BOE patches will also work on Edge. I'll wait for Edge SP3 release notes to be certain of this but Good news if it's accurate.

Verizon Phones compatable with Ford SYNC

I am new to this forum. I fact I have never used a forum before. I am over 65 and do not understand how the forum is related to asking Verizon a question or offering a suggestion. But here goes:
When I go to the Verizon home page and queery Ford SYNC I get no results. I suggest that Verizon address Ford SYNC on its site. Specificially address which phones are compatable with Ford SYNC for 2010 and 2011 vehicle being produced by Ford. (Edge/Explorer)
I guess my main question is: Just because a phone has bluetooth capability is it compatable with FORD SYNC?

$200 Trade In Gift Card Offer with Verizon Edge

I was informed by two Best Buy associates that I could trade in any working smartphone for a $200 gift card that could be applied toward a purchase of a Galaxy S5 or a Note 4. Both associates told me that the gift card could be used for a two year contract renewal or the Verizon Edge program. If I chose to go with Verizon Edge then the gift card and any cash that I wanted to put toward the retail cost of the phone would be applied before the net difference was spread over a 24 month period and would reduce the monthly amount payable to Verizon for the phone cost. .
I bought a black Note 4 last week and renewed for two years at that time but the Edge program was offered at that time and I was told it would be reduced with the $200 gift card from the trade in. I went back to my local Best Buy store to return it because they now had a white phone in stock which they did not have last week. Also, since last week Verizon has also reduced their data plans and I now have a 10GB plan so wold qualify for the $25 discount per phone line instead of $15 with the 6GB plan. When I went to return the phone I told the representative what I wanted to accomplish and they said it would be no problem to apply the gift card, cash and change to the Edge plan.
When it got to the point to apply the gift card from the return and the cash I had previously paid they told me they could not do that and I would have to either pay the full retail price for the phone or spread the $749.99 cost across 24 months. They showed me on their screen that they did not have the capability to apply the payment.
Why was I told by two other associates that this was possible and was the representative tonight correct in saying it is not possible to apply the reduction. She did say that if I had bad credit and Verizon required a down payment that she could then accept a payment to reduce the cost of the phone but becuase I had good credit she could not do so. She then offered to put the price of the phone on a credit card which I would then have to pay monthly.
Please advise.

I realize this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but avm5689 is correct: Best Buy gift cards cannot be applied as payment towards devices on Verizon Edge, AT&T Next, or Sprint Easy Pay plans. To apply any gift card to the purchase of a mobile phone, customers must purchase the device as a traditional upgrade (incurring any applicable activation fees) or as a replacement device at its full retail price. I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-3280ca Notebook and issues with compatibility with Windows 10. If your computer is having problems finding and installing operating system updates, try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix the problem. Did you know the tablets are now available with the Edge program?

While tablets are now able to be purchased with the Edge, the Device Payment Plan has been discontinued. So, if you want to pay over 12 months, to keep unlimited data, you are out of luck. Either full price, or lose it and use Edge.
Just another way for Verizon to get rid of unlimited.

I would check again. The problem is when you went to a corporate store and that is the only way to get it. The stores were telling customers that Verizon's device payment plan was only for tablets.
That is the first lie on their parts. The second thing the store would tell customers that if you used the plan you would still lose unlimited data, lie two.
You could not grandfather in a plan such as the device payment plan. Grandfathered to whom? Those who already choose it and are on it? Those who got grandfathered in how? Maybe a wrong choice of word in your post.
Like Ann154 the plan is still showing on the Verizon wireless site.
I also called my former account executive at Verizon and he said he knew of no discontinuance of the program.
So unless you have advance information via working for Verizon wireless I would wait for the news release.
In your case I would go to a corporate store and insist on them honoring the Device Payment Plan. Maybe mention your attorney, or a state regulatory agency etc.

Windows 8 and itunes 11 compatibility with an ipod

I have itunes11 and Windows 8. I've called Apple and I've talked to Microsoft. This was months ago. I can download itunes and run it from my laptop but am unable to sync my ipod. I get an error and it automatically reboots my computer. I was told there were known compatibility with itunes and Windows 8. This was months ago.
I know how to downgrade itunes to XP or Win 7. This is not the issue. I can download to my laptop and place, it will not sync to my ipod device (which is a fear years old), but when I did talk to support I was told that it was supported. The ipod was not the issue.. It was the incompatibility between the programs.
I see recent updates in the support community in the past month about production resolution but this still has not resolved my issue. I don't believe purchasing a new ipod is going to resolve the issue either.
If anyone has successfully developed a workaround or recently downloaded itunes11 w/ Windows 8 and can sync to an apple ipod I would love to know how you did it.

Im not sure that will solve the issue I have with itunes. I have a lenovo laptop and I think it's just an issue with Apple who has to modify the program for users of Windows 8 so that itunes can be used and to find purchased music. I found the music I purchased through itunes but it's not the full tracks. It said it allows me to download it fully so I can hear the whole track, but needs some kind of capatibility? I have no idea what the problem is. If someone has the answer knowing my computer brand and having windows 8 compatibility issues, please let me know what you suggest.
